Faith and Trauma Center Podcast
The Faith and Trauma Center Podcast is a series of conversations between two best friends that explore the intersections of faith/spirituality, trauma, and mental health! We visit a new theme each month, often talking about issues of social justice and advocacy, and then explore that topic over the course of 4 conversations, 1) From a faith/clergy perspective, 2) From a mental health perspective, 3) From a lived experience perspective, and 4) A story or conversation with a guest!
Reverend Dr. Christie Love is an ordained pastor through the Disciples of Christ who has specialized in work around religious trauma. She has spent a decade working with the nonprofit world, working closely with individuals who were facing homelessness and extreme poverty. She loves coffee, plants and lives in the PNW.
Holly Madden is finishing grad school to become a Mental Health Therapist who specializes in trauma, somatic movement and Eco-Therapy. She has also worked in the nonprofit world, focused on supporting families in the foster care system who are working towards reunification. She has a deep love of the wild, natural world, yoga, and navigates the world with ADHD!
We are so excited you are here!
