The Man Identity

The Man Identity is the podcast dedicated to calling up young men into purposeful manhood which is ultimately found in Jesus Christ and being the Man God created us to be. While much of our present world sets itself against them, our goal is not to merely point a finger at all the problems, but rather to build hope, clarity, and strength into young men today who are desperately searching for purpose.

Host, Pastor and Author, Steve Hinton, along with Co-Host Matthias Tinnin, Personal Trainer, Youtuber, and church volunteer, offer a clear voice of hope by facing tough issues head on, throwing down weekly challenges, and having some fun along the way.

Because solid manhood isn’t automatic, but a choice, we’re here to walk alongside you and encourage you to live out your authentic identity in being made in the image of God for a purpose larger than you’ve ever imagined possible before.

Steve Hinton

Steve and Debi were married in 1991 and they have four young adult children. Together, they served in Moscow, Russia, as missionaries, a church in Indiana, and a church plant in California before moving to Houston in 2010 to lead Cypress Crossings Christian Church. Steve loves being out in God’s creation and spending time with Debi, his family, and his friends.

Steve brings to the table not only a background of over 30 years of vocational ministry, but his own life story which drove him into a mission of building up young men in today's world. The Man Identity arose out of 12 years of prayer and work with men and pointing them to their true identity in Jesus Christ.

Steve has a BBL and BTH from Ozark Christian College and MA in Practical Ministries from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. He is the author of “Confessions: Finding Hope Through One Pastor’s Doubt” and regularly blogs at kingdomology.com. Some additional articles are at RENEW.org.
