Isobel moved to Manchester from South Wales and felt nervous about meeting new people. If you're in the same boat, here's why Isobel says you don't need to worry.
My name is Isobel Williams. I've just graduated from Masters Physiotherapy.
I'd say like the first thing, do not worry. Like you, if you're worried about finding people or, just like the course, I would not worry at all. I went into it. I came from South Wales originally and come all the way up to Manchester, and I had the panic of finding people and meeting people. And you'll find them. You'll get there, don't worry.
Enjoy the course. I’m in, the, the health and social school, and I met all my friends, some friends I'll have forever. And we used to sit in the canteen all together on a big long table. We used to talk every single, like, every single lunchtime. And that was my favorite moment, every time, and I will always, forever, forever remember that, sitting in that, in that hall and just talking to them.
