We're continuing Ducks in a Row: Reordered Loves, a series about learning to love the right things in the right way, in the right order, for the right reasons.

In Week 2, Many Things, Kevin Syes takes us to the familiar story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42.

Martha is busy serving Jesus. She's doing something good—something necessary. But she's also distracted, worried, anxious and pulled in every direction.

Meanwhile, Mary simply sits at the feet of Jesus.

Jesus doesn't tell Martha that serving doesn't matter. He doesn't call her out of the kitchen—He calls her out of her frenzy.

Because sometimes we can become so distracted by doing something good that we miss what's better.

Join us for worship and a message about our competing priorities, the desires that shape our lives, and the invitation Jesus gives us to stop trying to produce something for Him long enough to simply receive something from Him.
