Okay, so Job chapter 42 is the conclusion of the book of Job, and it only has 16 verses in it. So we will go through the entire chapter. I'm gonna read it in the New Living Translation, and it starts in verse 1. Then Job replied to the Lord, I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. You asked, Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance? It is I. And I was talking about things I knew nothing about. Things far too wonderful for me. You said, Listen and I will speak. I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance. So, my friends, this is when you go from information to revelation. Notice down there in verses five and six, Job said, I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. And then he repented for everything that he said that was contrary to what uh who God actually was in the actual magnificence of God. So when you go from information, just hearing about what somebody said, just knowing about God in your mind, just having mental assent to revelation, to a heart posture that actually knows the word, receives the word, and can act on that word, that is when faith is born in your heart, and that is when you can take that deposit of faith and utilize it to make something come to pass in your life. That is how each and every one of us became into saving faith because you heard about Jesus and you heard and you heard and you heard because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, and then that faith got down into your heart until you got a revelation. You believe on the inside with your heart, and then you spoke that right back out of your mouth, and that produced a crop of salvation for you. Everything else that we received in this faith life comes the same way. You get the information and you keep on meditating on that information, keep on hearing that word until it becomes a revelation. And when it becomes a revelation to you, to you hear God speaking to you, then you are able to reap that harvest of whatever it is that you need, whether it be prosperity, whether it be healing, whether it be provision, whether it be protection, whether it be salvation, whatever it is that you need from God, when you get a revelation of the word for yourself, what God is speaking to you, then you can act on that word and receive what it is that you need uh God for. Verse 7. After the Lord had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, I am angry with you and your two friends, for you have not spoken accurately about me as my servant Job has. So take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer on your behalf. I will not treat you as you deserve, for you have not spoken accurately about me as my servant Job has. Three times in that passage, he said, My servant Job. So Eliphaz at Timonite, build at the Shuite, and Zophar the Naamathite did as the Lord commanded them, and the Lord accepted Job's prayer. Okay, so now Job is in a position where he has a revelation of God, and in he's also was repentant before God. So God will not turn from a contrite and a broken heart, he will always accept that. And in that moment where Job has that revelation, he also has an anointing and a power that comes with that revelation. So Job is in a position to be utilized and used by God. So the right size, what has happened in all this time when all his friends have sat around him, accusing him and saying all the wrong things, God says, Okay, we can fix this. Go ahead and offer this sacrifice and get Job, my servant, Job, to pray for you. And I will accept Job's prayer because Job is in right standing, right fellowship, right relationship with me, and that will cleanse you all from the issues that I have with you right now. My anger that's burning hot against you because you were speaking about me, but you weren't speaking accurately. So when Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before. It is more blessed to give than to receive. So Job, in this moment, in his hurt, in his pain, reached out from that hurt, from that pain and was praying for somebody else. When you find yourself in a situation where you need something from God, so what it is that you need. If you need prayer, so prayer. If you need healing, so healing. If you need provision, so provision. It's seed time and harvest in action. So he acted out by what God said. God instructed them to give that offering and to come and get Job to pray for them. Job, in his pain, in his anguish, in his hurt, prayed for them and he was restored after he prayed for his friends. Then all his brothers, sisters, and former friends came and feasted with him in his home. People will show up when things are always going right and always going good. People will always show up. So you cannot be worried about the minds and the hearts of fickle people. You always have to stick with what God says. You always have to stay with the word. You always have to be walking in alignment with the word because you'll always have people that will say whatever it is that people say, but doesn't line up with what God said. And they consoled him and comforted him because of all the trials the Lord had brought against him. And each of them brought him a gift of money and a gold ring. So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning, for now he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys. He also gave Job seven more sons and three more daughters. He named his first daughter Jemimah, the second Kiziah, and the third Karen Hapuk. In all the land, no women were as lovely as the daughters of Job. And their father put them into his will along with their brothers. Job lived 104 years after that, living to see four generations of his children and grandchildren. Then he died, a man old who had lived a long, full life. God gave us a promise that he will give us life until we are full, till we are satisfied, then we get to fly away, right? So Job lived his life until he was satisfied. And then you also have to look at the perspective from you know where he started in this whole ordeal. You know, Job lost all his sons, all his daughters. He lost everything. He went through such a torment and a test and a trial. So just like Pastor Carrick was just talking about um this past Sunday, sometimes you have to sew the I don't know. You know, and the sons and the daughters that he has now certainly don't replace in the sons and the daughters that he had before, the sons and the daughters that got killed. Um, but in that moment, in that time when you don't have an answer for why the sons and the daughters had to um be taken on um early, you have to sow that I don't know. And in the restoration of Job, you know, he has more sons, he has more daughters, he gets to live another 140 years, he gets to see his children to four generations, right? So he is very blessed in all the things that he has and all the things that he does. He's seeing generations of children that he is able to impart the life and the um blessings of God and the knowledge of God that he now has this new revelation knowledge as he continues to build and walk with God and a flow with God, he's able to then part this to his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, because now uh he knows Lord, the Lord personally. It's so important that you get a personal revelation of God for yourself. Yes, it's good to hear me talking about the Lord, hear everybody else talking about the Lord, but get in the word for yourself, get in the Bible for yourself, read these chapters for yourself, and then when something jumps out at you, don't just let it pass you by. Stop and meditate on that word because when the Holy Spirit is highlighting something to your heart, he wants you to stop and kind of just sit there and dwell on that word, dwell in that moment, and then receive more revelation as you are sitting there and meditating and thinking about that word. He's trying to reveal something to you so that it is uh something that you can grasp and you can get as you are moving along in the things of God. Because, of course, you know we're all in a season of training. You know, we're in different seasons as we're moving along in the things of God, but of course, we're in preparation and we're always in training and we're always learning because we are moving and flowing into the plan and purpose of God that He has for each and every one of us. So even when you are doing, you are learning. Even when you are moving, you are learning. Every time, every day when you wake up, there is something new that you get to learn. Why? So that you can be able to be better utilized and better equipped for the plan that he has for you, the plan and the purpose that he has for your life to be able to bring souls into the kingdom, to be able to be a witnessing tool, to be able to go out and flow in miracle signs and wonders. It's not just for Pastor Carrick, it's not just for Pastor Reggie, it's not just for anybody who you think is super spiritual, it's for you too, because you have resurrection power living on the inside of you. You are his sons and daughters. You can flow in the gifts of the spirit too. You can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover because that is what God said. And God stands by his word, he watches over his word to perform it, and he makes sure that um those miracle signs and wonders flow through his sons and daughters for the purpose of being a witnessing tool to the people who don't quite know him yet, to give them a revelation of who he is, so that they can receive that same resurrection power, that same life on the inside of them when they receive Jesus. And we are coming into a new season, a new time where it's gonna be a revival season, it's gonna be a revelation season, it's gonna be a season of restoration for so many people. And then the people that have gone astray, they're gonna come back. The people that have not gone astray are gonna be elevated and lifted up, and it's on for the purpose of bringing more souls into the kingdom. God is very strategic in this, He is working a mighty work in our midst, and we get to be here for it. It's such an exciting time to be in the kingdom of God, to be Christians like we are. It's such an exciting time that we are in, and and it's just it's just wonderful how he does it. It's just so wonderful the workings of God. So, you know, Joel 42, you know, is really simple at the end of all of this, that the you know, the height of all of this, that he is restored, praise God. You know, he prayed for his friends and they were restored, praise God, and he got a true heart revelation of who God actually was. He'll never forget that. He'll never be the same. He is now changed into a new person, and that's what happens when we get that revelation of God. We are changed into new creations in Christ Jesus, never to be the old person again, never to be the same again. And as we go from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory, we'll get more revelations of God. We'll be able to see him for who he truly is for the people that are waiting on the other side of our obedience. And that's pretty much all I got to say about that. With that, I will tell you.
