Not this early, but it is what it is. All right, so in Jesus chapter 43, what we have, what we see is a couple things. One, uh Phil talked this morning about how the brothers went down and shows a recognizable. So he started playing games with them. And so they got the food, they went back, but as collateral, they left Simeon. And so when I was reading up on this, I'm like, that dude was still there. I mean, because I I don't know how much food that they got, but you at least think it may be at least a couple of weeks, a couple of months worth of food. And so now they run out of food, it's getting low. So Jacob, Israel, is telling him, look, go down there and get us some more food. And the brothers remember, hey, uh, the guard us we got to bring Benjamin, who has not so much taken Joseph's place as Israel's favorite, but now he is the favorite because mostly because their mom, Rachel was Jacob's wife. His father-in-law played different tricks on him, so he ended up with more than he bargained for, but Rachel was Jacob's apple with his eye. So because of that, her sons were his favorite point blake period. So first it was Joseph, which is why he took it so hard when Joseph was killed by his brothers. Then it became Benjamin. So when they told Jacob, look, we got to take Benjamin with us, or there is no more food, he struggled. He was torn into it's like, I want to keep living, I want to eat, I want to take care of my um of my younger family, the ones that we still have here, but at what cost? So he he agrees. Only after Judah was like, hey, this is what happened. I will personally guarantee his safe travels. I will personally do this, which is interesting because the first time when they wanted to get rid of Joseph, Judah was the one that stepped in, like, let's sell him, let's not kill him. There's a little interesting bit there. So he was able to allow Ausseich the concerns of their dad to send Benjamin up. So they go back. Joseph, once again, he recognizes them, and he acts that they have dinner with him. And then it is at dinner where Joseph's dream is fulfilled. Where we talked about his brothers bowing down, they do so not once but twice at dinner, lunch, I'm sorry, because it's around noontime. Of course, they don't know that they're bowing down before their brother, they think they're bowing down to the person of power and prestige. But what's interesting to me, reading through this, is how guilty consciousness can be. And also the flip side is how the fulfillment of your dreams are as well. So we see a dichotomy almost at the exact same time. We see the biggest fear, the biggest disappointment being put before the brothers because they think God is punishing us because of sin. So the sin in this case is what we did to our brother back in the day. But at the same time, Joseph, who's a more humble, more seasoned guy at this point, God is fulfilling everything He promised me. Or that vision, that dream that I had so many years ago. Whenever God gives you a vision, a dream, it is his pleasure to bring it to pass on earth as is in heaven. Jesus said in the New Testament, part of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is visions and dreams. So one way that the Holy Spirit speaks to us is vision dreams. So for some people, I have the pleasure of working with grown-ups and I mean with kids and grown-ups alike. It's fun hearing the disappointment that a lot of older adults have by unfulfilled childhood visions and dreams. It's a difference if those things shift and shake with more experience. So they mature with you. But for that person, for whatever reason, it's like, hey, we hadn't made it happen, we hadn't seen this yet. That itch never really goes away. So I would encourage you. If you know it was a God's dream, it shaped your destiny, it shaped your life from then until you stop believing it could, because lifestyle life. I would encourage you the next few days, few weeks, reconnect with God. God, did you say that that was done? Or did I quit before you had a chance to work in me? Because think about it, Joseph was a teenager when this dream happened. Now he's somewhere between 30 and 40. So it's at least a decade, a couple decades later. The plan for Bible's life does not is without repentance. Get them called out of repentance. So that means I don't believe there's an expiration date on it. While at the same time, his childhood dream is coming to pass. Their child, the one thing they wanted to bury, they wanted to hide from, was always the back of this. We know people the same. That one thing they've never confronted, they've never made peace with, they've never handled, dealt with, is always lurking as they're moving around a little bit. And so now when the right opportunity pops up for the brothers, this is what I did to Joseph. And so they have bringing him into Joseph's palace to have a beast. And it's interesting their responses. Verse 18 they were terrified. They're about to have a feast during a famine. And as opposed to feeling themselves thinking, okay, you know, this is a little bit different. We came down here thinking, okay, you know, we're gonna buy a little food, get our brother back, take the little boy home, no big deal. We get to eat off of one of the administrators to the king, to the not the king, off of this man's table. Not only when we come here to buy stuff with our own resources, it's being spread out before us. And unfortunately, some of us pursue God the same way. You go to God, look at God, what can I do? What can I purchase? God is like, hold on, let's sit down. He prepares a table for you. The question is, as you're moving, will you relax, appreciate what God is trying to do to you, or will you allow we call him now and choose some thoughts a lot to kill, steal, and destroy the moment just a little bit because it's interesting to see the conscience at work. Joseph recognized this is what I this is it, the moment, the moment that got me in trouble that I saw so many years ago. This is it happening, and you can see he's overcome with emotion, partly because he saw his brother, but still, this is it, this is that moment. I was each that wanted us to have a similar moment. God, this is it. Those moments where I wanted to quit. Now I'm walking in it, talking in it, living in it. This is it. He wants us to experience this so many more moments. The question is, will we remain faithful through the process? Just like Joseph did. Wait, I love what Joseph said in the next chapter or so when the revelation happens. I love what Joseph responds to. Because a lot of us it acts, Joseph provides a different response to the question why? And on that note, let's go to breakout rooms.
