Well folks, I have Exodus 11 tonight. And Exodus 11 is a very, very short chapter, and there's really a lot that I'll say there not a lot. It's like a it's a it is a ending of one thing and a setup for another. So what I'll do um and like tonight we'll say it is a preparation for the exodus of the Israelites and a prelude to the Passover. Now this chapter only has 10 verses, so what I'll do is I'll read, I'll read all 10 verses and then uh pull out what I got from it. I might be doing it while I'm speaking it or while while the verses are going, or maybe even afterwards. So we'll see how it goes. And it's entitled, and I'm reading from the New Living Translation, New Living Translation, and it's this is titled The Death of Egypt's Firstborn. Then the Lord said to Moses, I will strike Pharaoh and the land of Egypt with one more blow. After that, Pharaoh will let you leave this country. In fact, he will be so eager to get rid of you that he will force you to all force you all to leave. Tell all the Israelite men and women to ask their Egyptian neighbors for articles of gold and for silver and gold. Now the Lord had caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel, and Moses was considered a very great man in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh's officials and the Egyptian people alike. Moses had announced to Pharaoh, this is what the Lord says, At midnight tonight I will pass through the heart of Egypt. All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Egypt, from the oldest son of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the oldest of his lowliest servant girl, who grinds the flower. Even the firstborn of the livestack will die. Then a loud wail will arise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no other like no one has heard before or will ever hear again. Among the Israelites, but I mean but the Israelites, but among the Israelites, excuse me, y'all, but among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites. All the officials of Egypt will run to me and fall to the ground before me. Please leave, they will beg. Hurry and take all your followers with you. Only then will I go. Then burn then burning with anger, Moses left Pharaoh. Now the Lord had told Moses earlier, Pharaoh will not listen to you, but then I will be I will do even more mighty miracles in the land of Egypt. Moses and Aaron performed these miracles in Pharaoh's presence, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he wouldn't let the Israelites leave the country. Now going back and pulling out some of the stuff that I got from it, it was like, you know, I said the this is the tenth and final plague of that that the Lord actually performed in the in the land of Egypt. And it was just like it was also um it was his final blow. If he if this didn't work, then I don't know what would he what he would have done. He probably would have given him more and more. And in verse 2, as we as we saw that the um Lord told the Israelites to go to the Egyptians and ask them for their silver and gold. To me, that was an example of you know him transferring the wealth of the wicked to his righteousness, to the righteous, which were the Israelites, to his people. And down in verse 6, it actually made me think when he said that there would be a whale, like there was no more, like that you've never heard before, it right that reminded me of the old Mah in a line in old Mahela Jackson's song, Sooner will be done, you know, sooner will be done of the troubles of this world, troubles of this world, troubles of this world. And then she actually then she said, There will be no more weeping or wailing. And that that when I heard the wailing in there, that made me think of that song. It's like, you know, there will be no more, and that actually goes to it shows it in this particular area of that there'll be a wail that'll be going, there'll be a sound and a wail that'll be going that no one else will ever have heard, will be so loud that no one has heard it before and will never hear it again. And you know, as he delivers his people from the from Egypt, there will be that whale that will have before that he's preparing it, there'll be a whale that'll be that they will that they will hear. Um and then also down in chapter uh, I mean in verse eight, it actually where he's talking about they'll be well, he'd be they'll be telling them to please go. It's like at that time, I guess Pharaoh can't take it anymore. And after going through nine other plagues, this final plague, which actually really touched him much, much more because it dealt with his own his own son. So he had to just tell them to get out, get out of Dodge. I don't want to see you or hear you from you no more. Um, so this what also the final thing that I actually really got of it, and I said this is a very short chapter, so there's really there's not really much more you can say is that God, you see, this is an example of how God will take care of his own. We need to actually be obedient and to wait. He'll do it in his own. He will things are done in his timing when he wants it to get done, and then that will get done. And with that, that is really all that I have because I said it was a short chapter. And if there's anything else that anyone would like to add or that you might have gotten out of it that I didn't, feel free to share. But we can, if not, we can go to our breakout rooms. We have a lot of time left.
