Welcome to the True Self Mastery podcast, a grounded space for truth, mastery, and legacy creation. I am Anne Vandywater, your True Self Mastery guide. This is where we dissolve illusion, stand anchored in who we really are, and create lives and legacies that last. Today is August 8th. 8-8 Lionsgate, a day recognized by ancient and modern traditions as a time of heightened energy, clarity, and possibility. Here's what's actually happening in the sky. Around this time each year, the star Sirius, which is the brightest star in our sky after our sun, becomes visible in the early morning just before sunrise. sunrise. From our view here on Earth, Sirius appears to rise in direct alignment with the sun and the sign of Leo. This isn't just a poetic description. It's an astronomical event that has been carefully observed for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians saw this moment as the start of the Nile River's flooding. That annual flood was life-giving It deposited nutrient-rich silt across the farmland, ensuring abundant crops for the year ahead. They built their agricultural calendar around this alignment and even constructed temples like the Temple of Isis to perfectly frame the rising of Sirius. The connection between Sirius and abundance is not just metaphorical. For those anxious communities, this moment literally meant the difference between scarcity and survival. That's why they celebrated it, not as some abstract spiritual portal, but as a turning point in the real life cycle of sustenance and prosperity. In numerology, the number eight represents infinity, balance, and power, and the exchange between the between the spiritual and the material. My life path number is the eight. So of course, I really love 8-8 Lionsgate. The shape of the number eight itself is like a continuous loop, an unending flow of giving and receiving, action and reflection. On 8-8, those qualities are amplified. And this gateway language you hear about is a symbolic way of describing how this moment can open you to new clarity, direction and momentum, but only if you anchor it in practical ways. And that's what I want to focus on today, not on vague inspiration that floats away by next week, but on how you can use the natural rhythm and momentum of this moment to build something solid that will last so if you're listening to this on Lionsgate great but the energy is actually here with us for the next eight days so if you're hearing this two three four days after Lionsgate no problem just tune into the energy and listen to what I have to share about it so in human design my foundation is a line one the line one is the investigator the one who digs deep to find the truth and then builds the solid foundation everything else rests upon it's like the foundation of a house or the base layer of a cake the foundation is really important because nothing else will be able to be without it. My role is to take moments like Lionsgate which can be filled with excitement and possibility and enthusiasm and then translate these very special days into something that's very practical and stable and usable in everyday life. In my natal chart, my incarnation cross is the left angle cross of identification this means i'm here to help you identify with and step into the truest version of yourself to identify with your true self my work is about guiding you to strip away the masks the conditioning the expectations the not true self energy and to remember the essence of who you really are. Right now in this Chiron return phase of my life, I'm also carrying the right angle cross of Maya. This energy is all about seeing through illusion, seeing through the malarkey, seeing through the lies, the manipulation, and all of the false fronts. Cutting through through the noise, the programming, the false narratives, so you can find out what is real, what is valuable, and what's lasting, and focus on it. When you combine these two, it's a powerful recipe. I'm designed to help you not only recognize your true identity, but also dismantle everything that's clouding it, and that's exactly what A Day Like Lion is perfect for illuminating truth and clearing away the rest. I'm here to serve the naturals. You're naturally gifted. You're naturally multi-passionate. You're naturally a magical genius, but you might not even see how extraordinary you are. It's called the channel of community. And it's also what I am here to serve you with. I'm wired to create belonging. I know how to make people feel valued, connected, and part of something bigger. And in Lionsgate, terms, that's about taking the light and the clarity that's available now and using it to strengthen your own unique role in your community, in your work, in your family, in your friendships, and your own self-leadership. So this combination of what I was born with and then this Chiron phase brings it all together so that I'm here to help you anchor the insights that you get today into the way that you live and lead and leave your legacy. One of the strongest energies in my design chart right now is gate 42. It's called the gate of completion. And one of my offerings, if you've been around the block with me, is called conscious creation. We say conscious completion creates space for conscious creation so completion is about a lot more than just endings it's about honoring the entire cycle every project every relationship every habit every identity that we carry has a natural arc a beginning a period of growth, and eventually a point of completion. So this Lionsgate moment comes at the midpoint of the year. It's a very natural time to take inventory. It's a moment to ask, what is still alive for me? And what has reached its natural conclusion? In agriculture, you wouldn't keep watering a plant that's already gone to seed, you'd harvest it, you'd prepare the soil, and you'd plant something new. Life works in the same way. When we hold on to things with our talons in it, like precious, that are already complete, whether it's a job, a belief, or a way of doing things, we tie up energy that could be flowing into what's next. Complete Completion is a form of creation. It's the clearing that allows new growth to happen. So if you've been feeling stuck or stagnant, it's worth looking at what might be ready to be finished, released, or transformed. And there's another layer, rhythm. We all have natural rhythms that are unique to our design. In human design, your rhythm might be about short bursts of intense work followed by rest, or it might be about steady, consistent energy over long periods. The more that you align with your natural rhythm, the more you conserve energy and create lasting results. On a day like today, in a pocket that we're in right now for about eight days, We can explore countless directions, but I'm keeping it to three simple grounding questions, like I always do, that will give you clarity and direction without scattering your focus. Here's my first question for you. What is one truth I'm ready to fully stand in without wavering what is one truth you are ready to fully stand in without wavering I will share mine with you I recently took a month all by myself in Palm Springs and I am obsessed with Palm Springs and I focused on my holistic physical mental emotional soul spirit health and wellness. I stayed in contact every single day with my partner, with my mom, with my best friends, with my clients, with my students. But I didn't even go and hang out with anybody. It was really about me returning to myself so that I can restore and replenish myself and go back out and continue to be of service from a place of fullness. And of course, I had a lot of time for deep reflection and I've had this revelation many many many many times in my life but again it hit me in human design in the gene keys I have a very clear purpose my purpose is enlightenment that's what I'm here for in this lifetime and of course it completely shifts my entire perspective on light when I just remember my purpose is enlightenment I'm here for pure illumination spiritual enlightenment in this lifetime and when I anchored into that truth my whole life has been shifting again it always shifts and I I feel so empowered and clear and focused. And it's like, don't sweat the small stuff because it doesn't really matter. I don't want to get caught in the weeds anymore because I'm focused on what matters most. So for you, what's one truth that you're ready to fully stand in without wobbling, without wavering? Question number two, what is one gift i will commit to honoring and expressing over the next eight days what is one gift that you will commit to honoring and expressing over the next eight days so i'm about to head to esalen in a couple of days i'm teaching a staff offering about human design and i am teaching a week-long workshop for all the visiting guests who signed up for my workshop it's called living authentically a journey with human design so over the next eight days that's going to be the core of my reality is being at Esalen and being a facilitator one of my core gifts and it is the source of my radiance and my holistic health and wellness it is gene key number 63 gate Number 63 in human design and in the I Ching, it's hexagram number 63. And the core gift is truth. I'm hardwired for truth. Being truthful has gotten me in trouble in my life because a lot of people don't want to hear the truth. But that is one thing that I am committed to honoring because it's like the core of the core of the core of my health and my well-being and if I don't have my health and well-being then I can't help anybody right so for you what is one gift that you'll commit to honoring and expressing over the next eight days question number three what is one illusion I'm ready to stop giving my energy to starting now what is one illusion you You are ready to stop giving your energy to starting now. For me, one illusion I'm ready to stop giving my energy to starting now is, hmm, there's so many illusions that are good to stop giving our energy to. This is one that's really important to me. Because I know that it's true. And when I anchor into that truth, then it's a lot easier to be with everybody. Right? And it helps everybody. It's supportive for everybody. So what's one illusion that you're ready to stop giving your energy to starting now? Write the answers to all three questions down and keep them visible and let them guide your choices over the coming days. So remember, Lionsgate is not just about what inspiration flows in. It's about what you do with it. Abundance is created through focus, alignment, and follow through And the energy available today can fuel the rest of your year if you anchor it into intentional action.
