Welcome. I am Anne Vandywater, and this is the True Self-Mastery Podcast. Today we're speaking into a powerful collective moment. In the early morning hours of March 3rd here in Pacific Standard Time, we experience a total lunar eclipse. Totality peaks around 3:33 a.m. Don't you love those numbers? And you can check out what time it's happening in your local time zone. This is not just a full moon. This is a culmination point, a revelation point, and a completion point. Eclipses accelerate timelines. They illuminate what has been hidden. They bring endings that were already forming beneath the surface. And for you, as a leader and steward and visionary human who knows you're here to build something meaningful, this eclipse is not random. It is precise. So as I always share, I'm not an astrologer, but I'm obsessed with our cosmos and how we are all part of the cosmos. Tribal societies, ancient civilizations have been following with the moon and the stars and the planets and the sun have been doing forever. And so I just love seeing what is happening in the cosmos. And there are always these universal themes that we can work with. So whether or not you think this is a bunch of woo-woo stuff or not, suit yourself, follow your own intuition about this, but just see beyond the astrology part of it if you're not into this stuff and focus on the themes because the themes that are going on right now are universal. So let's begin with Western astrology. This is a Virgo full moon eclipse opposite the sun and Pisces, and I am looking out the window right now, watching the full moon rise, and it's a blood moon. There's been a little bit of a pinkish glow to it. Virgo and Pisces are the axis of refinement and surrender, discernment and devotion, systems and spirit, practical embodiment, and mystical trust. I just told a client the other day, I'm as woo-woo as I am grounded. For me personally, my south node is in Virgo. It means I've mastered this earth stuff. It's very second nature to me, being a human, the material world, all of the responsibilities that happen here. And for you as a leader, you have to be super grounded and practical and take care of business here on the earth plane. And then my north node, which is what I'm here for, the greater purpose of this lifetime, is in Pisces. So it's about spirituality, mysticism, trust in the great mystery, and surrender and devotion. And so I'm feeling this one. Are you all? Because it is where the woo-woo meets the practical, it's where the mystical meets the mundane. And oh, it's just such a juicy, delicious axis that we are playing with right now. So Virgo is asking you, what is working in your life right now? Like really working. What is sustainable? And what needs to be cleaned up and simplified and purified. And Pisces is asking you, what must be forgiven? And if you haven't heard me say this before, and I don't know where I heard it, so if you know who said this, let me know. But my favorite saying about forgiveness is forgiveness is letting go of the fantasy that the past could have been any different than how it was. So, what must be forgiven? Where in your life do you have to let go of the fantasy that the past could have been any different than how it was? It is done, right? What illusion is dissolving in your life? Where you're like, ding, wake up. I've got to let go of that fantasy. I've got to let go of that illusion. And then where are you being invited to trust in something larger than your own effort? It's interesting. This past week, I was once again reminded of the 12 steps of AA. I'm not in AA. I know a lot of people that are in AA. I know a lot of people that are in recovery. I know a lot of people who have had profound transformations from the 12 steps. And the profound thing about the 12 steps is you don't have to be in AA to practice them. They are universal. It's quite incredible. And a core part of AA and the 12 steps is surrendering to a power greater than yourself. So you may or may not believe in God, but we can all agree that there's something that beats our hearts for us and makes our organs work and breathes in and out for us without us consciously saying, Heartbeat, organs work, breathe in, breathe out. There is something that is larger than your own effort. And so, where are you being invited to trust that something larger than your own effort? This eclipse is not about dramatic reinvention, it's about precise recalibration. So, where have you been over functioning? It's interesting. Did you know that 70% of the planet in human design are generators and manifesting generators? All go into the category of generators, and generators are the worker bees of the planet. This whole entire planet would fall apart if it weren't for we worker bee generators. And we have a tendency because we have so much mojo, we have so much energy to go, go, go, go, go, and sometimes over function. And Ra Uruhu, who is the channel and messenger of human design, always says 70% of the planet, the generators and manifesting generators have to be very conscientious that they do not become the conditioned energy slaves of those who want them, want us to do what they want us to do. So, where have you been overfunctioning? Especially if you're a generator or a manifesting generator. Another tendency of 70% of the planet is overgiving. Where have you been overgiving? Where have you been overmanaging? When I first started learning about tapping and emotional freedom technique, which I actually like to call mental emotional freedom technique, the teacher that was teaching me about it talked about being the micromanager of the universe. So where are you being the micromanager of the universe? Where are you playing God with God? As uh someone once told me that I was doing. And that's really what this whole powerful eclipse is about. Is where are you playing God with God? Where are you micromanaging the universe? Where are you not practicing enough surrender and knowing that there's something greater than you? Let me tell you, lately I have been saying every single day, God take the wheel. Because I've got it really together on the material plane in very practical practical and grounded ways. But sometimes some of the stuff that happens here on planet Earth is like, what the actual you know what? And so there is a deep, deep need to surrender, to have faith, that even when there seems to be chaos, that there is divine order, and we will be getting to more of that very soon. Where are you over-perfecting? Where do you think that you have to be perfect in order to be a leader, a steward, a custodian, a visionary? It's exhausting, isn't it? Where have you been subtly leaking energy through patterns that are no longer aligned with the next version of your leadership? Because here's the thing: Virgo wants clean systems, clean standards, and clean containers. Virgo wants to strip it all down and make things as simple as possible. Virgo's about energy efficiency. I always like to say I'm an I'm an energy efficiency master, about not wasting energy, using our energy, and again, especially if you are a generator and manifesting generator, if you make up that 70% of the planet, where are you using your life force energy for things that you really don't care about? Just today, I was invited to go on a trip, and I said, you know what? I do not want to go on that trip. I have no desire. And in the past, maybe I would be like, Well, maybe I should. It felt so good. Doesn't it just feel so good to say no? That's not an efficient use of my life force energy. So that's what Virgo is requiring right now. Huh. There she is, the Virgo full moon shining in the window as I record this, saying, Hey, hey leader, hey visionary. You gotta keep it clean. And Pisces wants soft surrender, compassion, an emotional release. It wants spirituality, it wants you to realize that the mystery is the mystery is the mystery, that most of this existence we actually don't have all the information, and that so much is hidden from us, and that this life essentially is a mystery, and that's why we have to have faith and trust and be able to surrender. So this is purification that's going on without perfectionism. So now let's layer in the human design frequency. So again, I'm not an astrologer, but I love to study this stuff, and this eclipse occurs around 12 degrees of Virgo and Pisces, and in human design that activates gate 64 in Virgo and Gate 63 in Pisces. Again, gate 64 is my purpose, it's my greater purpose. What brings me great fulfillment? It's my unconscious earth in human design, and then it activates gate 63 in Pisces, which is my unconscious sun, which is all about my health and my radiance. It is captivating to study ourselves. In fact, it's not only captivating, it's just a baseline need. I just learned that the most highly evolved, intelligent, wise switched-on human beings on the planet are the ones that study themselves and study their response and their reaction and the way that they think and they believe rather than just taking everything at face value. So study yourself. You're fascinating, you're one of a kind. So gate 64 is the pressure of confusion, it's the mental fog that happens before the revelation. It's darkest before the dawn. It's the images that have not yet organized themselves into clarity. Gate 64 is about illumination, it's enlightenment, it's that aha where oh okay, I can see clearly now. It's that. It's the sacred inquiry that asks, is this true? Can I verify this? Does this hold? It's about truth. That's really what it comes down to. Like I was saying, it's my radiance, it's my it's how I source health and wellness. So I have to have truth in my life. As a child, I was a truth teller, and who did I get in trouble for that? You know what I mean? But it's what I'm here to uphold. It's how I stay healthy, and I feel it's one of the core ways that we all stay healthy. Authenticity. So together, this access says, confusion and doubt are not problems to fix, they are precursors to truth and illumination. So, as a leader, an entrusted leader who holds big responsibility in your life, it's so important to not rush to solve your confusion and your doubt this week. Do not make confusion and doubt wrong. Let confusion ripen in the divine right time, in the divine right way into insight and let doubt refine your discernment. The pressure you're feeling is not a sign that you're off track, it's a sign that something is reorganizing. And now let's bring in the Vedic astrology layer. And Vedic astrology: this eclipse falls in Simha, Leo. And Leo is the heart. It's all about dignity and creative life force and visibility and your identity as a leader. It's leadership identity. And then there's this whole other part of what's going on with this eclipse in Vedic astrology that's about creative fruition and pleasure and relational magnetism and what is genuinely life-giving? And this is important. So while Virgo is cleaning up the systems and Pisces is dissolving the illusions, Leo is asking: is your leadership coming from your heart? Is your leadership coming from love and devotion and courage and this shining light of pure presence? Or is it coming from performance or from pressure? Are you being seen in your truth? Or are you still calibrating your visibility around who you think you need to be? This eclipse clears your vessel so that your heart-based leadership can be seen without distortion. And now let's bring in the human design background frequency that's been running since late December and will be continuing through the month of May. It's called the 37 to 40 channel in human design. It's the channel of community and it's often called the heartbeat of the tribe. This one is super near and dear to my heart because it's one of my birth channels. I was born with this channel. I was born to cultivate this channel. And it's also what I have mastered and what I'm here to master simultaneously. It's the frequency of agreements, of loyalty, belonging, emotional contracts, and reciprocity. This channel asks: who are you in right relationship with? Where are your agreements outdated? Where are you giving without true exchange? And where are you committing from obligation rather than devotion? So now we see the full picture. Virgo Pisces clears and purifies. Gates 64 and 63 reorganize the mental pressure and confusion and doubt into truth. And Leo reclaims heart-based visibility. And the 37 to 40 channel recalibrates community and agreements. This is relational, structural, and identity level recalibration. The other thing that I really love about this full moon in Virgo is it's all about self-love and self-care. It's an amazing time to reboot what I call vibration transformation, transforming the vibration of your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and your daily self-love and self-care health and wellness practices for your body, mind, heart, soul, spirit so that you raise your vibration. Because as leaders, if we don't have energy, if we don't have prana and chi and mojo, it is extremely challenging to fulfill our mission of living in alignment with and being the living embodiment of our Purpose, values, message, and vision, and being a conscious creator and leading by example and creating our legacy of light. So now what do we actually do with this? First, observe. Notice what is culminating, what feels complete, and what feels undeniably revealed. Second, simplify. One Virgo act, clear a surface, clear a calendar block, and one unsustainable micro pattern. Third, decide correctly, not from urgency, not from eclipse emotion, but from your strategy and your authority. If you're a projector, wait for recognition. If you're a manifester, inform before initiating action. If you're a reflector, give yourself time. Let your nervous system settle before you finalize major decisions. Eclipse week is a revelation window, not a forcing window. So journal with me in your actual journal or just in your own consciousness. What is the smallest unsustainable pattern that you are willing to end now? Where has confusion been protecting you from an honest choice? Where does your authority, your intuition, your own way of making wise choices, what does your authority say when you remove deadline pressure? And what is your heart ready to be seen doing and embodying? Because here's the deeper truth. This eclipse is preparing you for spring. And on March 21st, we have the first day of spring here in the northern hemisphere. Spring is not just a season, it's a leadership cycle. And in ancient times, they actually saw spring equinox as the first day of the new year. So here's something I'm deeply excited about.
