SPEAKER_00Free tea.
SPEAKER_0130 days of free tea in Maria Hernandez Park.
SPEAKER_00Hello, hello. What's up, man? Can I try the pop can I try the papaya? This is the papaya kind of day. You see a bee?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You see a bee now. You see?
SPEAKER_04Tell me about the bees. Maybe we're the first.
SPEAKER_02It's like, oh my god, we are of the earth. We are of this ecosystem and we are participating in it and we've we affect it. And it I love I love that and I love the bees for reminding me of that.
SPEAKER_01One bee on its own can only do so much. But it plays a role within the larger system of things, and that's what allows them to survive and to help the world around us survive too.
SPEAKER_02Especially right now, the murmuring of the bees is so in tune with the spring ephemera. You see the bees waking up and they're more active and they're saying hi.
SPEAKER_03Apple tea sounds actually amazing. We unfortunately don't have apple.
SPEAKER_02It's like I am a bee. We are all bees. We are all bees to the flower of earth.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god!
SPEAKER_02They just make the environment alive. It's so vital to understand that relationship that the earth has and how you are a part of that. Like it's not just the flowers that are going through this. It's you experiencing the flowers. You are also going through the same cycles as them of birth and death throughout your life. You just have to you have to deal with the loss. And it doesn't have to be it doesn't have to be sad or ugly, it's just what it is. Like that's so part of life is I mean, even like the daffodils that are that are all coming up, I'm already seeing some wilt. And it's like they just came up a couple days ago, and boom, they're already on their on their way out.
unknownNo, well to give your mom something with you.
SPEAKER_03My dad died when I was 10. You don't get to like escape it. Even if you try to run from it, you're gonna lose.
SPEAKER_04Okay, get set. Get ready. Get set, get ready, go!
SPEAKER_03I feel like an expert in loss, death is like kind of my thing. And uh the only way to do it is with other people. That's the only reason I'm like getting through it. It's like radical acceptance of the present moment. That one is so fucking hard. Homo city say tea. Homo city say honey. It's fucking hard to lose. But what I'm coming to terms with is the idea of the mark of that loss and how it changes you forever. I mean that's also like the love.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I'm coming over.
SPEAKER_03You better come over now. Stop. Don't you smile, smile? Stay with me. Come. Good. Good.
SPEAKER_04Tomorrow. Are you serving the tea?
SPEAKER_01I'm serving the tea.
SPEAKER_04Miles is back.
