Calm in the Storm

I wrote this song of encouragement to help those of us who struggle:

Life’s storms are raging, I’m struggling every day,
 Nothing’s working right, I feel so far away.
 Deep in this ditch, I find despair my friend,
 So tired of fighting, I just want it to end.
 Joy is a memory, peace, a distant dream,
 Hanging on a thread, or so it seems.
 Lord, I’m searching for a glimmer of light,
 In this endless darkness that consumes my night.
