When I'm Gone

When I am gone, oh, hear my plea,
 If they can say I helped the world to be,
 Through my faults and all the words I’ve spoken,
 I pray the ties of kindness remain unbroken.
 I’ve tried my best, done what I could,
 To lend a hand, to spread the good.
 If they can say—oh, let it be known—
 That in my life, love’s seeds were sown.
