On Halloween night, 1986, Chaim Weiss was found in his dorm room in a Jewish Orthodox high school on Long Island, New York. His killer had entered his room during the night and bludgeoned him with a sharp object while he slept. Despite the bizarre nature of the crime no one was ever charged.
