As a dairy industry specialist, Ms. Marianne Smukowski knows her cheese. More importantly, she knows what makes Wisconsin successful and an industry leader in the world of cheese. A former president of the American Cheese Society,  previously the Dairy Safety and Quality Coordinator at the Center for Diary Research at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and recipient of the American Cheese Society's 2020 Lifetime Achievement Aware, Ms. Smukowski explains how regulation can actually effectively support industry when implemented through collaboration with stakeholders.
