Hey friends, I had quite a few of you reach out after the last episode about the energy audit, and a lot of you said it has been life changing. That you started paying attention to what drains you, what puts you in a better mood, and what leaves you feeling off.
But there was another theme that kept coming up in the messages too, where many of you were like “Okay, but what if I’ve been exhausted for years?”
And that’s a great question, it sparks an important conversation. Because for some people, this goes way beyond needing more sleep or better habits. Some of you have been stuck in stress, pressure, burnout, whatever you want to call it, for so long that it became your normal.
You get used to functioning that way.
And I think that’s why people struggle to feel better even after they start making healthier choices for themselves. Awareness is important, but it doesn’t automatically undo years of depletion.
So today, I want to talk about how to start clearing some of that built-up energy and what it looks like to reset yourself after carrying too much for too long.

Anyway, let’s get into it.
The thing about depletion is that it does’nt happen all in one moment. Most people slowly adjust to carrying more stress, more pressure, more emotional weight, until that becomes their normal.
You adapt to it.
And eventually, you stop realizing how far away from yourself you’ve gotten because functioning in survival mode starts feeling familiar.
I think that’s why the energy audit hit so many of you so hard. It forced you to stop long enough to notice what your life has been doing to you on a daily basis.
Some of you realized you are overstimulated all the time. Some of you realized you never fully relax. Some of you realized certain people affect you more than you thought and you’ve been running on empty for years.
That awareness matters.
Because you cannot change a pattern you refuse to look at honestly.
And I also want to say this. If you’re starting to recognize those things in yourself, that’s a good sign. It means you’re paying attention. People spend their entire lives disconnected from how they feel physically, mentally, emotionally, all of it.
This reminds me of the Keke Palmer Ted Talk that was released recently. If you haven’t watched it, please. Go. Do. It is exactly about this topic and shares a timeline of her life of realizations and growth. It’s one of those things where you may not see something happening to you until you see it happening to someone else and she’s sharing that with us.
Anyway, I want to give you the top three things I would focus on if you are trying to reset your energy and start feeling more balanced again.
Starting with number three. \Stop Constant Input. One of the fastest ways to stay mentally exhausted is to never let your mind sit and settle.
So many people wake up and immediately start consuming. Music, podcasts, social media, texts, news, conversations. There is never any space for their nervous system to breathe if you are doing this.
And people do this so automatically they don’t even realize how overstimulated they are until they finally sit in silence and feel uncomfortable.
That discomfort tells you something. Your body and mind are not used to stillness anymore. That’s a problem.
So one of the first things I recommend is creating small pockets of quiet and stillness throughout your day. Drive without music sometimes. Go on a walk and don’t look at your phone. Sit outside for ten minutes without consuming anything.
Because when your mind is overloaded constantly, your energy has no room to reset.
#2 Clean Up What Your Body Is Carrying. A lot of emotional exhaustion becomes physical exhaustion eventually.
Poor sleep. High stress. Constant cortisol. Processed food. No movement. Shallow breathing. I could go on. Never resting properly. It adds up.
And I think sometimes people separate spirituality from the body too much when the body is part of the entire experience.
If your nervous system feels fried all the time, your body is trying to tell you something.
So before you jump into trying to manifest your dream life, start with the basics first. Hydrate better. Sleep more consistently. Move your body. Spend time outside. Regulate your stress levels. Pay attention to how certain foods, environments, and people affect you afterward.
Because sometimes what people call an “energy problem” is years of physical and emotional burnout stacked on top of each other.
#1 is Reiki. And before you think I’m getting all woo-woo, please hear me out.
I mentioned this briefly back in Season 1, Episode 14, and Reiki was one of the first things that made me realize how much stress and bad energy I had been carrying in my body without fully recognizing it.
I remember leaving that first session feeling physically lighter, calmer, clearer, and honestly kind of surprised by how different I felt afterward.
And if you’re unfamiliar with Reiki, it’s a form of energy work focused on helping the body relax and release built-up tension and imbalance. Some people connect with it immediately. Some people are skeptical at first. I completely understand both reactions. I was a super skeptical person about this in the beginning.
But what I can tell you is that for me personally, it created a noticeable shift in how I felt emotionally and physically afterward.
And I think part of the reason it can feel so powerful for people is because most people never truly slow down long enough to process what they’ve been carrying.

At the end of the day, resetting your energy is about stopping the cycle of constantly draining yourself without recovery.
It’s about paying attention to what your mind, body, and emotions have been trying to tell you for probably a long time.
And honestly, many of us are far more exhausted than you realize. You've just gotten very good at functioning that way.
But functioning and feeling alive are not the same thing.
Take some time this week and give one or all of these a shot and feel the difference in yourself.
