But um, we're gonna go ahead and say, welcome to the Truth Be Told Podcast, and we're going to go ahead and roll our open, get into prayer, and then explore in the world.

Amen. Hallelujah. We do have Leica with us. Yeah, we but in in our new spot we get to have hot drinks and bread pudding. So there you go. Well, that's a bonus. We're very excited about that. But yes, like Steve said, stay tuned until we move into our new place. But God has provided for us to be able to continue with all of our media, with church, with our classes, and all that good stuff. So that's right. The show goes on as it were. We are excited. Holy Spirit, do this through us, please, because I know that um Steve and I have been having some conversations about this topic, and I really think it's important to understand that God wants his children to live in peace. The Bible actually says that in Timothy. That we are called to live in peace with one another. Um we are the peace.

We are the peacemakers, the prince of peace is in us, and we are to be that way. But going through life, we can both say that we've had people in our lives that maybe stayed too long, maybe we should have left a long time ago.

Um, and and we need to pray for them and trust God with where they are in their life. But we need to do what Matthew 10, 14 says, which I'm gonna read. Um, if they have I'm gonna read a little bit out of this. It's called Shake the Dust Off Your Feet. That's what our uh shake the dust move on, shake the dust off your feet and move on. And in Matthew 10, verse 5 through 15, I'm gonna actually start. I'm gonna start with five. Um, this was right when Jesus started sending out the disciples. Okay, right. So it says, These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying, Do not go into the way of the Gentiles and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. So he's telling them from the get-go, do not follow the unbelievers.

You you follow me, stay with each other, and that, and because they're going out to preach, repent, turn from your sin, Jesus, he's here, Jesus is here, and he was here now. So he's telling them right up in front, you know, stay with like-minded people, right? And then it says, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. That's because Jesus was here. So go to where the lost sheep are, are those who are not believers, those who don't um know the truth.

So, and then he says, and as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand, heal the sick, what Jesus did, remember? Cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely you give.

So this is our call. Yeah, because we're all called to be disciples of Christ, and he's telling them go to the lost, that's where you're needed, preach the gospel, yes, most important, and you'll do what I did, but you'll do greater things because you have lost, you're gonna you all are here a lot longer than me. And we have to understand, Steve, this is for us now.

Oh, absolutely it is.

How many people believe that the Bible's old and extinct and it doesn't go for today?

A lot.

But how many people are referring to the Bible now because of all the happenings in this crazy world we live in?

SPEAKER_04 5:11

Yeah, seeing a big uptake, uptake in that absolute.

SPEAKER_01 5:14

Exactly. And also we're seeing, like Joe B said, um the devil is using scripture against God's will.

SPEAKER_04 5:26

That's right. I mean, he definitely, yeah, I mean, the devil knows scripture. I mean, he was like one of the top angels. He he knew his word better than any of us ever could. Absolutely.

So this commission is for now and tomorrow, yes, and the next day, and the next month, and the next year until Jesus comes back.

It's an instruction set, yes.

So it says he we're we can heal the sick. Do we do you believe that? Yeah, absolutely. We can call on God, yes, profess his word, and heal the sick.

Yeah.

We can cleanse the lepers, yeah. We can raise the dead, yeah. I would love to see that happen. I'd love to see that happen too. It's also raising the dead from their self.

Well, exactly.

Dying to self.

Exactly. That's also what there's a lot of meat to that in itself and meat in this whole scripture.

Exactly.

Death comes in many different forms, right?

SPEAKER_01 6:25

Yes, we we can cast out demons. Yes. We have the authority in Christ. Now, if you're a true Christian, I know I keep saying that, but it's true.

Right.

If you're a true Christian, which means you walk in truth and only truth, right? You can do these things. Totally believe that. Freely you have received Christ, freely give. This is Jesus commissioning us. Exactly. Then it says, provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts. All those people talking about gold and silver and all that stuff. Provide neither. No, you're not taking that. Right. Nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs. For a worker is worthy of his food. It will be provided to you. You go with you. Right. That's what he's saying. Now, whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. Worthy meaning of the fold, right? Worthy of the Lamb, worthy of God, of the fold. Yes, they know they are worthy through Christ.

That's where you go, that's where you stay. You have to stay with people that trust God.

Okay? So then he says, and when you go into a household, greet it. And if the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. We carry the peace. We said that from the very beginning. We are the peace carriers, we are the peacemakers. But then it says, and this is where we come, you and I started talking. Right. And whoever, but if it's not worthy, let your peace return to you. You leave.

And whoever, this is 14, will not receive you, nor hear your words. When you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Yes. It's over, it's done. Move on. You spoke it. You did what he told you to do. They didn't receive it.

Right.

They're not getting it. It's not good for you. Peace is gone. I want my children to live in peace. Move on.

Right.

SPEAKER_01 9:11

Because think about it. What do you think of when you shake the dust off your off your feet?

You're leaving it behind. You're cleaning, you're cleaning it off. You're not carrying it with you. It you're yeah, you're literally leaving it behind.

We came to to this earth as dust. As dust. There you go. We will leave as dust. Right. So dust is a a thing in the Bible that means not it's not important. And and you did you walk away.

Right.

SPEAKER_01 9:47

Not that that person, those people aren't important.

SPEAKER_02 9:50

Right.

SPEAKER_01 9:52

But you planted seeds, you may have watered them, you may have plowed the field.

Right.

We don't ever grow it.

Agreed.

SPEAKER_01 10:00

And the last verse 15, because then we're gonna jump in here. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Saddam and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

So that's a pretty profound statement, right there.

For right now, for forever, yeah. So touching base, I don't know why I put my Bible. Touching base on this word. Let's talk about what we were talking about.

Okay.

You know, and I know that there are people in your life that are there for a reason. There for a season.

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 10:35

Okay, when someone's there for a reason, they're usually in and out.

SPEAKER_02 10:40

Right.

SPEAKER_01 10:40

And it usually has it can go a million different ways. A reason. Someone there for a reason. A season is a seasonal person. They're there for the long haul. A seasoned person is there for a long haul. A person for a reason is why are they here? What's the reason? And they're gonna go.

So we were talking about people in our lives that cause drama, tension, turmoil. Right. When do you know when to shake the dust off of your feet and move on?

Right.

SPEAKER_01 11:24

That's kind of the itching thing we were trying to do. Well, I think this ver this scripture defines that.

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01 11:33

Because it talks about peace.

SPEAKER_02 11:35

Right.

SPEAKER_01 11:36

And if you're in a situation, now we're not telling everybody just to bail and run.

Right. Takes discernment.

SPEAKER_01 11:44

You have to pray.

SPEAKER_04 11:45

Yes.

Submit to God's will. That's right. Surrender. Ask, listen, and obey. That's right. It'll let you know if it's time to move. But the scripture makes it clear that not everybody's gonna accept you.

And and we're finding, you know, being Christians in this atmosphere we're living in, and God is not our home. It is going to get more and more difficult for Christians to live here.

Yeah, it is.

Because we are when God said we were set apart in outcasts, I don't think everybody truly knows the depth of that.

Right. They don't want to accept that that that's how it's gonna be, but the scriptures are very clear that that's exactly how it's gonna be, that we are going to be seen as outcasts and um the enemy by a lot of a lot of, I'm gonna say, cultures and groups because we are walking in that truth. We don't vary from it, we don't bend it to meet other sub-levels, if you will.

It's and we are see reading that scripture set apart. I think the meaning that most people get is I'm not to look like everybody else. I'm not to act like everybody else. Right. So it's two twofold meaning. That is truth. Yes. You are not to fit in with the crowd, right? You are not to be like everybody else in that sassy sewing circle I talk about all the time. It's nothing but trouble. You are not to you are to speak differently because you speak truth, right? Look differently because you have Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the light of God in you, yes, and you are to respond differently.

So this set apart and cast out is for the times we are gonna go into before before tribulation, right? Before all all the rapture and all that happens. Yes. And we will be set apart as the tyrannical, if that's a word, Christians.

Tyrannical, is that the word you're like?

SPEAKER_01 14:35

They're the ones who are causing all the trouble.

Right.

SPEAKER_01 14:39

Do you know that's what's gonna happen to us?

SPEAKER_04 14:41

Yes.

SPEAKER_01 14:42

And I think people don't believe that.

SPEAKER_04 14:44

Like I said, head in the sand.

SPEAKER_01 14:46

They don't want to, they don't want to believe it. And some of them will turn and go with the flow. Right. Because they don't want trouble. Right. I don't want anything to happen to me. I don't want to be pointed out, right? Like Jesus was.

I mean, we've seen it. I mean, let's be honest, we've seen that.

SPEAKER_01 15:04

You know, it happened to Christ.

SPEAKER_04 15:06

Absolutely. Crucify him. That's all I need to say.

SPEAKER_01 15:09

Crucify him.

I mean, look, Jesus said in his own words, you know, even a prophet isn't a prophet isn't, how is that word, Michelle? Help me. A prophet isn't recognized in his own hand. That might that's paraphrased, but yeah, you know, that's that's just he's not honored.

A prophet isn't honored, he's not believed, right? He he's not wanted, right? He's not wanted because people are so, and this all goes back to self-righteousness, right? This all goes back to I want what I want, my will. And it's funny because the fence rider, it's all the that's all through there. Because that's all that's why people are on the fence with Jesus.

Because they don't want to give up their comforts, right? There is nothing comfortable about being a Christian.

Oh, right, exactly.

SPEAKER_01 16:08

A true Christian, let me say that. Because if you're just a philandering Christian, like a fish out of water, bobbing all over the place and making this one happy and make saying what this one wants to hear, saying what that one wants to hear, and not even knowing what your call is, your purpose, or what the heck you're doing.

Getting in the Bible maybe once a week, going to church maybe every Sunday, unless there's a football game on, and then you're not going to go to church because it goes too long and runs into the start of the game. This is just the reality of where those Christians are.

And maybe that's a hard thing to say, but it's the truth.

Right.

A true Christian, what's that in your eyes?

SPEAKER_04 16:54

True Christian is someone who walks specifically in the steps of Christ. There's an easy answer to that. But someone who actually follows word and doesn't vary from that word in their path. It follows Jesus, what Jesus has, not the commandments per se, that's not what I'm saying, but following the commission, like you said, that Jesus has laid forward, that works follows.

What we just read. Like we just read, exactly. What we just read, if you dissect that scripture in Matthew chapter 10, he's specifically saying that's what I love about the scripture, Steve, from the from verse 5. Um, go where I tell you to go. Go where the lost sheep are.

Preach the gospel, heal them, clean them, raise them from the dead, cast out their demons, and freely you I have you have given us been given authority and power through word, through the Holy Spirit, through God. Freely give that. He's telling them, do unto others as you want them to do unto you. Do unto others as God has done to them.

Through Christ. He's making it very clear. And then he goes to don't take gold or silver or copper in your many money belts. Don't take extra clothes. A worker is worthy of his food, which means you do your part, God will provide. Right. And and that's what he's telling us that too in our ministry right now. Absolutely. You do what I'm telling you to do, a worker is worthy of his food. Right. You work, God provides. You do what I tell you to do, I provide. That's right. How many people think it's the other way around?

Oh, a lot. You provide and I'll work, God. Exactly. Exactly. How many? I'm gonna get I'm gonna go here. How many people just here in the last, I'm gonna say the last month, have we encountered that don't understand this transition that we're in right now at the voice of truth? A lot. They freak out going, well, how are you gonna do this? How are you gonna do that? What do we say? God will provide. Is our answer? Yes, yes. God is provided. Look, he's provided so much for us as it is. We how dare we ever consider the fact that he's not going to continue to do that.

He provided that building. Absolutely. 1220 East Churchville Road. Right. He told us that that was that season was to end.

Yeah.

Even before the year was up, he said that season's to end.

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 19:28

In uh 10 months. Ten months' time, that season's ending. That's right. We know that the Bible says where God closes one door, he always opens another door, but you have to walk out that door that he's closing.

That's right.

So we walked out of that door on March 14th, which was this past Saturday. That's right. March 15th, God provided a place for us to have service on Sunday.

Yeah.

A dear friend of ours, Danny McGay, owns Victory Real Estate, and we he's letting us use his conference room space for church on Sunday.

Bible study every other week, and our lamb class, which is tomorrow.

Right. And though we're move, and though we're moving on, as you see right now, we're sitting here, we're doing this podcast. The mission does not stop. The mission doesn't stop.

Does not stop. People have to understand what that scripture just says. Yes. A worker is worthy of his food. You work, God blesses. You don't how many people stand there and wait for the blessing or the mission or the plan to come and they stop. They stop. You know, because y'all know 29-11 Churchville Road. God is said that's his building for his purposes. Voice of truth is to take it over. That's right. We're waiting. Yes. We're waiting for the Oddfellas who own the building. This is the Holy Spirit. Okay. To release that building to us. We'll be real. We've done everything the Lord's asked to do, asked us to do. We've done everything that the Oddfellas have asked us to do. And now the Lord said, wait.

That's right.

Continue on with the mission. Keep doing the classes, keep doing Sunday service, keep doing the media, keep reaching out, keep helping people. We sent groceries to a family yesterday. I don't go blasting out on social media because it's between me and God. I'm only saying that now because people need to understand we're still doing the voice of truth.

We're still going at the same strength, if not stronger. Stronger than we were when we were in the 2012 building.

So for 2911, we need your prayers. We need God to make it clear how the funding's coming. We already have the contractors, we already have a semi agreement, which is Have to have them agree on it. We've already been in touch with BG and Eita, turn it on. We've already got everything in motion. We've gotten the contractor who's going to remove everything that's in there, the contractors to start doing the work. We're going to help do some of the work. Absolutely. We're planning and moving forward. But right now we've been told to wait on the Lord.

That's right.

For the next steps for 29-11 Churchville Road.

Right.

Because we've done everything that God has told us to do. And we are waiting for God to grow it.

Right.

And that's where we are. And keep in mind, every step of every way and every piece of communication that we ever sent to them had truth in it. That's right. Had prayers in it. Had scripture in it. There has never been a communication that did not have the word of truth going out. That's right. And that was God said to do that. That's right. So the point of all this is a lot of people have said, well, walk away. Clearly, this isn't God. Well, I went one step further, as Steve knows, and I sent it out to some spirit-filled, five spirit-filled folks. That's right. And two of them are influencers. And they prayed for for for do we stay? Do we hold? Right. And all of them were in agreement that this is God. And wait. Do what God says to do. Then wait, but carry on. Right. Wait on that piece of our mission. But carry on and everything else. That's right. And people, you have to be, like Steve was telling you, a true Christian. You have to be with God to know what to do.

Right. And I'm going to be, I'm going to be honest here, because I hope Spirit's working on me too. Okay? Don't think that we don't understand the turn, the term side of that table. And I'm going to say that because back in, oh gosh, I'm going to say 2021, 2022, I had a ministry that I started. And going through all the legalities of paperwork, whatnot, the seams came apart on it because I couldn't get things to line up. And I got distraught about it. And I just kind of threw my hands in the air, like, okay, this isn't happening. It's all falling apart. What am I going to do? As I said earlier in another conversation, the sky's falling, Lord, I give up. I don't understand. But the Lord opened doors. He put me in another place for a season, which a lot of people don't understand. But that's how it works. Right, that's how it works. A lot of people don't understand, but I was only there for maybe about a two-year season. I'm not going to go blast the names. That's not fair or ethical. But I was only there meant to be there for a season. And I was there for that season. God said, go. Not for a reason. I said, why? And I know it's going to be bold to say, but this is exactly how the Spirit put it on me. Shut up and do as I told you. And that is how I ended up working with Reverend Love here with the Voice of Truth Center because I stepped out in that faith. I walk, I walked away because he said, walk away. Don't ask, just do.

Shake the dust.

Shake the dust. And I love the I love the people that I was working with, don't get me wrong. I just actually talked to the pastor there um a few days ago, and I told him, you know, I still love you all, but I had to go where God needed me to go because I pointed them out to a building I knew that was they're looking at came on came on the market for rental. So I pointed it out to him. But um, you know, I made it clear I love love them all, but I had to go where God needed me to go, and that's where I'm at now. Um, so it's about just making it clear that I, you know, I can't speak for Rebe or love, but for myself, I understand the other side of the coin of how it feels when you don't follow God and you're all about yourself, and you just the sky's falling, everything's coming apart because you refuse to listen. Well, that's what happened. I refused to listen, and he put me on a different track and got me back on track.

And that you're not alone. And every place we are, I always say there's a reason for it. There was a reason for you to be everywhere you were, there was a reason for me to be everywhere I was to get to this place now because it's all a growing process. God is showing us something in every step of every way.

Exactly.

People stay too long, right? I mean, I I you already know how I feel when people tell me they've been in a church for 23 years. Like, oh my god, what? Are you serious?

You kind of kind of question it, right?

SPEAKER_01 26:52

And they say that because their friends are there, and but you know, church isn't for socialism, right?

SPEAKER_04 26:58

Or my family or my family's been there for years, or my parents went there, or my my grandparents got married there, so that's why I have to go there. I mean, you know.

And there's no spirit, right? There's no Holy Spirit, right? Because the Holy Spirit moves us, right? The Holy Spirit is always on the move, and and that perfect example of us leaving that building, right? And and God, the building 29-11 Churchville Road, because he keeps saying speak it out. 2911 Churchville Road, which please, y'all, pray, pray, pray for us. Yes, please. Um 2911, because there's there's gonna be a fellowship hall there, there's gonna be way more classes, we there's so much more being burst.

The media's gonna go up. And the media's gonna blow up.

We're hoping to have concerts there. Oh, yes. Um, there's so much that's gonna happen there, but but feeding meal, feeding you guys a couple times a week for free. Yes. Um, there's gonna be a book, a book, little bookshelf area, there's gonna be the food pantry. There's so many blessings multiplied from what we were doing. Oh my gosh. Churchill read.

Yes, but understanding that everything, everywhere I have been in my journey, my faith journey with God, um, has brought us to yet brought me to yet another moment where I have to completely trust God for the next plan.

Like Steve and I will sit down, I'll sit down by myself, he'll sit down by himself doing his quiet time, my quiet time, or we come together like we're gonna do after this podcast, in word, in prayer, saying, Lord, confirm what you're telling us to do.

Right.

So ask God that, y'all. Because there are people in your life right now, this is the Holy Spirit, that He's telling you to walk away from. Yeah, that He's saying, I told you to walk away from this, this is not giving you peace, this is not good for your spirit, not good for your mind, not good for your body, not good for your heart.

He will provide when you walk away. Absolutely. Not everybody is is is supposed to be in your life, right?

And it's not always gonna be a comfortable move, it's not always gonna be the comfortable choice to make, but you sometimes you have you have that's what that is the perfect example of what it means by step out in faith. Never said it was gonna be comfortable, but you you gotta follow that step.

And your blessings will be halted unless you remove that relationship or remove that position in your job because some people stay way too long in a church, way too long in a job. How does God do things? You've got to walk out of one situation, job door, relationship in order for God to bring the best one. That's right. And if He's putting something on your heart to do, whether it's a relational move or a job move or ministry move, know that you've gotta walk out of what you're in first.

Oh, yes, who are living in the same life, doing the same thing in the same relationship, in the same job, in the same church, day in, day out. They're miserable, they're complaining, they're negative, they're nasty.

I've encountered several of them over time. Shake the dust off your feet. Give them truth. Because the truth, you see, Jesus made that clear. Heal them, deliver them, give them truth.

He says it preach the kingdom is at hand because he was there. He is the kingdom. The kingdom is at hand. He's about to die on the cross for all of you people who are so stuck in yourself and controlling. God wants to be in control, and that's not a bad thing because who are you gonna see in the end? That's right. We all have judgment day, everybody. Yeah. And if you don't believe it, you better believe it because it's coming.

That's right. Because right now, if you're not saved, I don't know who you're talking to.
