SPEAKER_00

Welcome to the Trevor Buck Podcast, episode 66, and this episode is sponsored by Vancouver Plumbing. They've been serving the Southwest Washington for over 20 years, so give uh Brandon and Ruben a call. And Brandon's a good uh youper, so you'll get a kick out of that. And we're uh really excited to have Ned back on the show. What's going on?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I'm just uh trying to fix rusty junk here.

SPEAKER_00

Right? What are you working on?

SPEAKER_04

Uh my old BMW car that all the brakes rusted.

SPEAKER_00

Nice. You got a beamer?

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Uh M M3?

SPEAKER_04

No, it's an old X5.

SPEAKER_00

That's it.

SPEAKER_04

I got it from got it from South Carolina when I was doing uh or no, Georgia.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

I was doing stormwork down there.

SPEAKER_00

Diesel?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you gotta get the BMW diesel. Those things are mint.

SPEAKER_04

They didn't make a BMW diesel back when I bought this thing.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

No. And hey, I I do want to share this. Uh we're uh we're coming up to the anniversary of the whole uh Trevor Buck Company and podcast. And uh yeah, it's it's been a year and it and we've been kind of in a little bit of a slump. So I couldn't think of a better way to uh break out of the slump. Um you might have heard of a slump buster.

unknown

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so I thought Ned, Ned's the slump buster. He's gonna he's gonna pull us back into uh routine here.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, well, you can get yourself out of that slump by doing by stopping doing boring things like working on your house, John.

SPEAKER_00

I know. We we might get into that later. That's that has been kicking my butt. But um you're in a better mood nowadays because it's summer up there in the UP.

SPEAKER_04

It is. Yeah. It's beautiful, right? There's lots of lots of bugs to swap at.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Uh no, we've we've had a nice summer.

SPEAKER_00

That's good. Hey, have you seen any fireflies?

SPEAKER_04

You know what? I haven't. Right? You need any.

SPEAKER_00

You need to go look around when it gets dark out.

SPEAKER_04

I know, I'm usually it gets dark so late I'm usually in bed.

SPEAKER_00

I love it. I'm the same way. You gotta go to bed early and get up early.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Right?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. It's uh it's tough to stay up late anymore.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Part of getting old. That's that's awesome. And uh we we've got big news to share on the podcast, and this is quite interesting. So you've uh since the last time we've talked, you've made a career change.

unknown

I have.

SPEAKER_00

So you sw you switched from being a wood ambassador to uh selling rubber. What's up with that?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Big career change.

SPEAKER_00

Right? How did that come about?

SPEAKER_04

Well, one day when I was working in the shop, I was waiting for I was waiting for parts for the j the truck I was working on.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So instead of being useless at the shop, I decided to go run a load of logs for my buddy.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_04

He had his truck loaded for me. So I stopped for gas, and the guy that worked at Fine Line Tire thought I wasn't working anywhere, so he called me and said, Why don't you come work here?

SPEAKER_00

Right. And and when he called you and offered you to come work there, what what was the role or what was the pitch? What were you gonna be doing?

SPEAKER_04

Self tires.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, but but and and everybody knows you're a great salesman, and now that you hopefully you have a team behind you, because I'm still kind of waiting on that one by four uh tongue and groove cedar you sold me.

SPEAKER_04

World's best salesman, and never even showed up.

SPEAKER_00

I know you could still call me. Everybody was wanting it. You had orders in, you sold it, and then uh so what what what's the status of Rhombus Lumber? Because that that was a cool company.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, well, it it continues on. Okay. Joe's still Joe's still thawing lumber. Right. I'm still uh I guess you can call me still half owner because I've never sold any of my share, right?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, but now when you switch to selling tires, are they round?

SPEAKER_04

Yes. The tires are round. We don't sell many Cooper tires. Ours are round.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you have to fill me in because I know that was a message offline with Zeb, but what's up with Cooper tires? I didn't know nothing about tires.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, they're they're uh you can get a good set here and there, but they're really bad for uh belt separating and shaking when you go on the road.

SPEAKER_00

That's not perfect. Yeah. What is um what what's what's your preferred brand there at uh Fine Line?

SPEAKER_04

The sold tire.

SPEAKER_00

The what?

SPEAKER_04

The best tire, the best tire is the tire that is sold.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, and how many different brands are you selling?

SPEAKER_04

Uh I don't know. Probably we probably deal with I don't know, maybe ten ten different brands, and then then you get the people that want their specialty ones that you gotta find and try to find a uh supplier for them.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So is that based on uh on vehicle, on preference, on what they're doing, or what? Like how do you if I roll into your uh shop in my Nissan hardbody pickup truck, what kind of tires are you gonna sell me?

SPEAKER_04

Uh let's see. Well, are you running them all year round? Are you taking them off in the winter and putting winters on?

SPEAKER_00

No, one set of tires year round.

SPEAKER_04

One set of tires, then I'm gonna sell you. Being wealthy, I'm gonna sell you the uh Michelin cross climate.

SPEAKER_00

Nice. Those sound fancy. Are those run flat?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay. So I have to keep carrying a spare in the back of my trunk.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you probably better. For for when you're out cruising your logging jobs. Right, right.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, now now I see the the name of the company is Fine Line Tire and Service. So what kind of service do you provide?

SPEAKER_04

Uh anything.

SPEAKER_00

Anything?

SPEAKER_04

Anything that'll make the customer happy.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm. Need my gutters painted?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. We'll do it. For a price.

SPEAKER_00

Uh no, but what what are you regularly doing there? Are you doing oil changes? Are you doing mufflers? Are you doing what what are you doing besides tires?

SPEAKER_04

Uh any any mechanical work you really.

SPEAKER_00

Brakes?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, lots of brakes and suspension.

SPEAKER_00

Lift kits?

SPEAKER_04

And and alignments.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

No lift kits.

SPEAKER_00

No lift kits.

SPEAKER_04

In the winter, in the winter when things get really slow, we'll do a lift kit for you.

SPEAKER_00

How about um the kids nowadays like to do this, uh, they they like to make their truck squat. How do we do that?

SPEAKER_03

My goodness.

SPEAKER_00

You gotta do big big tires in the front, small in the back, and then you gotta squat it.

SPEAKER_04

Uh these these kids are gonna drive me to drinking, John. I mean, just think about it. When we were young, like foolish things we did at least made a little bit of sense.

SPEAKER_01

Right, right.

SPEAKER_04

Like we put chrome wheels on it, right? Stick out a push out of out of the side of your truck. You know. Like they they honestly, like we've had we put uh wheels and tires on these kids' trucks.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

They can't even turn.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But they look cool.

SPEAKER_04

No, they don't.

SPEAKER_00

They kind of. And then you put the uh the LED lights in the wheel wells so you can really light them up at night.

SPEAKER_04

That's that's I don't know what you think is cool about that. I mean, the lights are cool. Right. You know. But the the wheels sticking way out, I cannot stand that luck.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's can't stand it. It's different.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Kids are different nowadays.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they are. That's that's that is interesting. Huh, what else have you been up to?

SPEAKER_04

Uh so chasing cows, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, tell me it tell me about that. How many cows do you have?

SPEAKER_04

We have uh two cows and a calf.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

We thought we were gonna have two calves this spring, but apparently one of the cows didn't take.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Um yeah, we only ended up with one calf. Yeah, and you say out of the fence and go play with the neighbor's dog.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Yeah, you mentioned they're super friendly cows, they just want to go play with the neighbor's dog, and the neighbors are a little concerned about your cows.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, the neighbors get all worked about worked up about our cows playing with their dogs. I mean they should just go throw the ball for them, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that is awesome. That is a great story. So you got your fence you got your fence tuned up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah, and so far uh no cows have gotten loose today.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Well that that's a success. Right.

SPEAKER_04

We had to uh we had uh a lot of work to it yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

It should have been done a long time ago, but yeah. Normally they're really good about um staying in even if the if the electric isn't working.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they uh they just really like the neighbors' dogs and just kept running onto their house. That's funny.

SPEAKER_00

That's that's awesome. I like your cows.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's cool.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Things are cool. Yeah. You know, they they're super playful.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Are they out there black Angus type?

SPEAKER_00

Or or Way Way Goo or what are they?

SPEAKER_04

One of them's uh uh Herper and we bred it with uh Speckled Park Bull. They're super cool looking. The guy the guy that has the bull, he went out to Montana and uh got a bunch of those from uh from a lady that was selling her hardware herd out there.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they are neat looking.

SPEAKER_00

That's awesome. No, I like cats. That's cool.

SPEAKER_04

Like they have these he has these massive bulls and you can just go in the fence with them and they're cool as ever.

SPEAKER_00

That's awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Very cool. Are you still uh are you still taking saunas up there during the summer, or is that just a winter thing?

SPEAKER_04

No, pretty much every night still. Still. There was a couple of those 95 degree days where we didn't didn't take uh sauna, but and your uh your cold plunge is probably a little bit warmer now. Yeah, right. Yeah, my cold plunge was up to 80 degrees. Yeah, it wasn't uh exactly cooling me off much anymore.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Hey, and you guys are uh you guys are experiencing some uh some wildfire smoke up there.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, it's been it's been thick smoke up here. Right? Smoke and ash. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So uh I I've seen that there's some people trying to make uh Canada give them um reparations. They're trying to get money from them.

SPEAKER_04

Well a lot of a lot of these fires are actually in Minnesota or right there on the border of the boundary waters.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. And they didn't know how to manage their forests.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, well, so much of that stuff is just totally inaccessible. It's it's impossible to put a fire out in it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so you're giving them a green green light that it's fine.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, it's nature, man.

SPEAKER_00

Cool.

SPEAKER_04

All it is is nature. Right. Nature doing its job.

SPEAKER_00

No, is it pretty is it pretty thick? The smoke?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's uh it's kind of thinned out a little bit today, but I haven't like um it's it's funny because all the smokers are the ones struggling with this work.

SPEAKER_00

You gotta tell us tell us about that. How does that work? The people that smoke, they're they hate the the air quality the most.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah, so my wife uh my wife the other night the window is closed, yeah, and I don't have an air conditioning because I'm a tight wide Finlander.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

So it was hot in the house, so I opened the windows and she comes in from uh having a cigarette and complains about the smoke in the house.

SPEAKER_00

Well, hey, you gotta get a hold of Rogers. You gotta get Rogers heating, come put in a mini-split for you.

SPEAKER_04

Did you you didn't hear the part about me being a tightwide Finlander?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but did it did you hear his story? Sometimes he uh he's able to have uh uh rescue units that just need a little repair, and you get them for the bottom dollar.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Oh no kidding.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

No, I I really should, but you use them so few times a year up here that it's pretty mild. Yeah, I mean hard to justify it.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Yep when you have rusty vehicles that need to be fixed instead.

SPEAKER_00

So when you uh when you fix up the beam or what is that you're gonna be your uh daily runner, or what do you what do you plan on doing with that?

SPEAKER_04

This is my winter car.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, your winter car?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Nice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Okay, so it broke down on it broke down on me a few years ago, and I had to uh pull my Toyota out of the snowbank.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

And that thing's starting to rot out now.

SPEAKER_00

So hey, do um do a lot of people still have like a winter car up there?

SPEAKER_04

Not really.

SPEAKER_00

Not that's a thing of the past. Newer cars now with just all aluminum and blah blah blah and plastic, they don't really rust out like the old ones used to.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, they still rot out as anything. Oh yeah. Well, I just I just want to put this Toyota away because they're like it's a 95. It's almost not replaceable anymore. I'd rather drive a brand new Um vehicle in the winter that is uh you know, they're still replaceable.

SPEAKER_01

Right, right.

SPEAKER_04

Or my that Toyota. Good luck finding I mean you can find a few of them out there, but shoot, they're going for over ten grand now.

SPEAKER_00

Right. What about that truck that uh out here that Andy Mack had for you?

SPEAKER_04

He still hasn't delivered it. I'm pretty disappointed in him.

SPEAKER_00

I thought you were coming out here to get it.

SPEAKER_04

Uh that's I I was.

SPEAKER_00

You would? Oh, okay, but he still has it waiting for you?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. He probably sold it two years ago.

SPEAKER_00

We gotta follow up on this and see where your truck is.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_00

That's awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Think he still has it?

SPEAKER_00

I have no idea. Yeah, I have I have no idea. He he hasn't been real uh talkative lately. I think his feelings got hurt when uh there was some plumber smack talk going around and he he got offended. So hopefully he comes back around. He was all playful fun.

SPEAKER_04

He made him a little angry with calling him an average plumber, huh?

SPEAKER_00

I never, because I don't know anything about plumbing, so it wasn't from me.

SPEAKER_04

He's pretty average.

SPEAKER_00

That is so awesome. I love it.

SPEAKER_04

Even ask his boy Henry, he'll tell you.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay. Oh, that is awesome.

SPEAKER_04

So hey, hey, he'll tell you all about Abby's operation.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, that's great. I need a little insight. So if Henry's out there listening, drop us some uh some info. That would be great. Yeah. So what are your um are you Monday through Friday there at Fine Line or what's your schedule like?

SPEAKER_04

Uh yeah, I work today.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um we're just sometimes we're open for two and a half hours on a Saturday. Okay. Sometimes we're not.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

I think we're gonna just start the on Saturday.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And you guys just had a big huge sale.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That thing was going off.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that was quite the experience.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna come up to uh see it to get my face painted and they canceled it. I was like, what's up with that?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you got ripped off. I did.

SPEAKER_00

Good thing you the air quality.

SPEAKER_04

You didn't buy yourself a ticket.

SPEAKER_00

I know. I was hoping to get one of those uh little balloon animals and my face painted and look at some tires, but like they shut it out.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, look at that.

SPEAKER_00

What's going on?

SPEAKER_04

My wife just my wife just delivered pizza out to me. Nice. What a sweetheart.

SPEAKER_00

She is. Did she home make it herself?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_04

She went she went to Dollar General and got some Jack's pizza. Put some put some mushrooms on it for me.

SPEAKER_00

That is awesome. Good deal. So how long are you gonna keep working on the beamer tonight?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I got three of the brakes. Um three of them where the wheel should turn now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I just have to go beat some rust out of one more.

SPEAKER_00

And are you are you replacing the brakes?

SPEAKER_04

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

Parts or super spendy are there.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not replacing them. I'm not replacing them right here. I'm trying to get it so I can roll it out of the dirt.

SPEAKER_00

So where are you gonna roll it to?

SPEAKER_04

Uh, up on my garage flap.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

I gotta I gotta get it up there so I have a good surface to work on it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Um, yeah, I've been this thing's been sitting here for like two years.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

And it's I don't know. I was kicking around. I was gonna scrap it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But then my boy has that uh other truck that Andy just fleeced me on.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Um with that with that 460 in it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

He's been driving that.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

And he can't afford to put gas in it anymore.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, not with a 460.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so you would think Andy would give me a little discount because it had a 460 in it.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. Hey, I want to ask you this. Are are EVs very popular up there?

SPEAKER_04

Uh, you see a few of them. There's not many. I don't know that for fact, but Oh, you're uh the batteries die so fast in the extreme cold.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

I would love to have one of those.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

But you just you can't uh you can't count on 'em.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Especially in the winter.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I d I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they're they have uh like you can't you can't get many miles out of 'em.

SPEAKER_00

Really?

SPEAKER_04

In the cold, no.

SPEAKER_00

That's interesting.

SPEAKER_04

No, well just think about when you bring your phone out and uh cold how fast the battery dies.

SPEAKER_00

I know. That's I know that that's a fact. But I thought maybe they would have them insulated or something because there's a lot of Teslas in Norway. Norway gets cold, I think. Yeah. Maybe not. I don't know. Never been there.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I'm sure they do. Right.

SPEAKER_00

I will. Oh, that is awesome.

SPEAKER_04

No, those cars are so cool, though.

SPEAKER_00

I think they're super cool.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I would have one.

SPEAKER_00

You know, there's they had there's a lot of them out there for those that are listening. I live uh in Washington State on the west coast of the United States, but um, and I work in the electrical industry, but we probably add, I don't know, three, four circuits a week for people's homes that have just got electric cars. I mean, they're they're super popular, yeah. And now the utilities are trying to figure it out because uh it's a it's a huge load. It's like a 50, 60 amp continuous load. So they're trying to figure out what they're gonna do. And eventually, I think what's gonna happen. I don't know, do you guys have um different uh rates up there for time of day of use? For your electrical. You do already?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_04

So our lower our low rate is probably the same as your high rate.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Our power is really expensive up here.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So then what what is the time? What's the um when does it switch to the higher rate? Is there a certain time of day?

SPEAKER_04

Uh I think it goes to after 11 p.m.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. I don't I don't think it matters on your on a regular household.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

But like uh, you know, like a business that uses a lot of power.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

They they uh take advantage of that.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, absolutely. Yeah, I know on the commercial um sector it it's huge, but I think it's coming to residential too. I went to a class this week and the the instructor was from Colorado and he said his his off peak or before two p.m. he uh he pays nine cents a kilowatt hour. And then he says from two to seven p.m. it goes up to like 33 cents a kilowatt hour.

SPEAKER_04

Really? I just fluctuate during the day.

SPEAKER_00

From from two to seven, that's their their high peak or whatever. So then they're coming up with technology and stuff, so then obviously you'd want to start charging your car after seven or whatever. Turn your water heater off, turn your whatever. Don't run your sauna drain two to seven, wait till eight, you know.

SPEAKER_04

Or tell me get a natural gas sauna stove from torch sauna stove.

SPEAKER_00

Way to shout out. I love it. Is that what you've got?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's what I've got.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, and where are they from?

SPEAKER_04

Uh they they make them in Dollar Bay. Dollar Bay, Michigan.

SPEAKER_00

Shout them out again, and uh, if you know anybody over there, tell them to come on the pod and talk about them.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, I should tell her. You should name I can't I can't remember the kid's name. Yeah, I got it stored in my phone.

SPEAKER_00

That that'd be awesome. Yeah, no, just say, hey, come come on, tell us, because we have a lot of people that uh enjoy saunas out here, and we've got the uh the Maverick wood-fired one that's portable tent type. We got the Finlandia that is mostly uh I think they're they're all electric now. But uh I'm I'm a proponent of natural gas. I I like it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's clean.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Clean and efficient.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, I agree.

SPEAKER_04

Um no, I have to get a hold of that kid.

SPEAKER_00

You should.

SPEAKER_04

I've had to buy a few parts from him, right? But it was totally my fault. Did I tell you about it?

SPEAKER_00

No, tell me.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, so you have to uh like I spray foam my sauna, yeah, so it's super airtight. Well you you have to uh you have to allow for air, you know, for the fire, the oxygen that the fire is burning.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

You know, you have to you have to replace it. So it uh I didn't I didn't do that and it backdrafted well it always did fine until I put an exhaust fan in my changing room.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Then then it then it uh sucked a little bit too much oxygen out of the out of there and uh it backdrafted my sauna stove and yeah. There's a um what's it called, a thermal uh protector.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

When the fire backdrafts, it shuts it right down.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

And I had to do that a couple times because then one day I just we just leave the window open all the time.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

And one day my daughter shut the window. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

So but but yeah, the stove works awesome.

SPEAKER_00

That's cool.

SPEAKER_04

Everything that happened to it was my fault.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_04

It says right in the instructions what to do.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

But I don't read instructions. Don't take well to a to instructions, so I ended up paying the price.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. No, that's awesome.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Cool. Okay, well, hey, closing this up, I do want to ask um, why should people that live in the UP come visit you at Fine Line Tires and Service? Give us your pitch.

SPEAKER_04

Well, because our prices are so low, it's almost criminal.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, we we offer the best service.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Hands down. Best service. That's what we sell.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

And and our prices are are the best too.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, I'm gonna um put the link to Fine Line Tires and Service in the show notes. And this has been very awesome to uh catch up. I feel like I'm gonna come out of the um the slump here. Hopefully, we get a few more lined up, and uh I I will visit you with you here shortly, but this episode was edited and produced by Daisy Media. Thank you. Good night.
