Renovating the Soul
This podcast is for the people I grew up watching.
The ones still in the same place they were twenty years ago — not because they don't want more, but because nobody ever told them they were allowed to have it. The ones who came out of church carrying things nobody helped them put down. The ones comparison has eaten alive. The ones who got handed circumstances that weren't fair and were expected to just keep moving.
I started Renovating the Soul because I believe in something that took me a long time to say plainly: you already have what you need. The tools are not hidden. They are sitting right in front of you. But you have to pick them up.
That means truth. Honesty. Self-reflection. Hard conversations. Admitting mistakes. Acknowledging wrongs. Distancing from what is keeping you small. It means things you won't even know you need to do until you face them. None of it is easy. But all of it is available to you.
The foundation you were given wasn't your choice. Rebuilding is.
This is not a podcast about having it all together. It's about the real, unglamorous, ongoing work of becoming. Faith, identity, relationships, generational patterns, purpose, discipline — all of it, honestly.
Your soul is your home. Let's make it a place you actually want to live.

After a brief hiatus, Alexandria returns with a compelling installment of Renovating the Soul. In this episode, she introduces Soul Talks—a series of intentional and direct conversations delving into the essence of the soul and the transformative process of its renovation.
Drawing inspiration from the HGTV show Unsellable Houses, Alexandria uses home renovation as a metaphor for personal transformation. She emphasizes that, much like houses require more than surface-level fixes, our souls need deep, foundational work to achieve true change. This process involves confronting and addressing internal issues rather than merely masking them.
Alexandria outlines key components of soul renovation, including:
- Self-awareness: Recognizing and understanding one's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.- Accountability: Taking responsibility for personal growth and the impact of one's actions.- Consistent effort: Committing to ongoing introspection and self-improvement.
She candidly discusses the challenges inherent in this journey, acknowledging that it requires hard work and perseverance. However, she assures listeners that the rewards—such as personal growth, healing, and a more authentic life—are well worth the effort.
This episode serves as both an introduction to the concept of soul renovation and a motivational guide for listeners ready to undertake their own transformative journeys.
Tune in to discover how renovating your soul can lead to profound personal growth and a more fulfilling life.
