I am your host, Laura Ahern, and I am so grateful you were here today on this episode of Energy Linguist Podcast. Today we're diving into the price we pay for the desires we have. I know right out of the gates that might sound heavy. And for many of us, it is very heavy. Many of us exist in a state of being in which what we truly desire is under extraordinary contraction. In fact, a lot of the times we are denying that we desire it because of what we have experienced in our past. And today we get to dive into exactly what price we're perceiving we pay and what price actually gets paid when we contract around or deny and repress that which we truly desire. What I know about you is this. If you've aligned with this podcast and you're here listening, you are here to change the world. And it happens in your own unique way. When you step into the full embodiment of that which you are, the world naturally adjusts because we are not singular, we are collective, we are united. You are a part of the collective field. And so all of the change that you are seeking actually exists within the self. When we start to adjust the frequency of the self, the outside environment adjusts. In time, our communities adjust. And eventually, on the collective level, that frequency becomes a beacon which adjusts the frequency of the collective. And the core of your power exists in the very thing that you are likely denying and or contracting around, which is the life you truly desire. How many of you at home have ever wanted something and then immediately felt the onset of guilt around that desire? Whether it was money, a job, a new home, a relationship, in which the guilt started to tell you these internal stories around why it's not good to want more. And today, divinity is channeling this message to help set you free to say you deserve more. And in order to receive it, you must be willing to desire and receive. When you look at the sacral center of our desire, that which we desire to create, in order for us to actually come into utilizing that material center to engage with our higher centers, engage with the divine creator, the inspirations that divinity is giving us to help fulfill that which the material self desires, we must be willing to be in that yin energy of the receiving. A lot of the time we fear pause and we fear receiving. The messaging here is that you have been misconstruing what creation is. Creation doesn't come from a physical exertion or a physical force. It's not about the doing. The things you desire to experience, to see, to manifest, to create all come from the being and the willing to be within that which you desire. To legitimately allow yourself to receive it. And it starts with first receiving ourselves, being willing to say, I do want that. And not only is it okay, but it's a part of the greater plan of my contribution to the collective. Because that really is what it's about ultimately. For those of you who are empathic in nature, you lead with your heart, you are naturally intuitive, you sense things before they happen. You know you came here to serve. And you did not come to serve at your own sacrifice. In fact, serving at your own sacrifice is what will keep you from truly being in the fulfillment of your soul's calling. Self-sacrifice will prevent you from having the greatest impact. And so it's absolutely necessary for us to get the guilt out of the way, the fear out of the way, the judgment out of the way, so that we are willing to say, yes, I desire this, and I'm going to lean into it with my whole soul self, with the conviction of my being to bring it into fulfillment. We're here today because we want to talk about the price of that. What is the price? Because part of this contraction is because you're in the resistance of knowing that there's a lot of unknowns. Those unknowns are scary. They trigger our fight or flight mechanisms. And there's much more to it than that. We understand that when we outgrow our old containers, there's an extraordinary amount of loss as well. And so our system is fully aware of the difference between the familiar and the unfamiliar and what it means when we choose to step outside of the societal norms. As convoluted as it may seem, maybe some of you have wondered, how am I still on my way? Why am I still in my way? What do I need to do to get out of my way? This is the moment, actually, where you can get out of your way. And it starts with being honest with yourself. It's not about you doing any more than you've been doing. It's not about you seeing it any differently than you've been seeing it. It's about the willingness to understand that if and when you truly choose it, there's no going back. There's a release that is required to create the space for you to be in the full receiving of that which you desire. Right now, a lot of us cannot be in the full receiving of what we desire because there's something that's already taking up its space. It's filled with desires that other people have planted within our mind. Planted along the path. And the path has become overgrown, confused, hard to navigate, to tell the difference between what is mine and what is theirs. I'm seeing imagery of walking through a path on a woods in which all of these seeds have fallen and grown over time and they're huge. And you know this is your path, but you actually don't know what pieces of it are you and what pieces are not. This imagery is divinity's guidance to tell you it's not that you're on the wrong path, it's just that you may be giving your attention to the wrong seeds that have sprouted. And it's time for you to choose what really delights you within your life. Guidance comes through this way because the truth is if your container is filled, there is no room to receive something different. We know this literally. If you have a cup that is filled with something, you cannot replace it with something different unless the other one gets dumped out and you have an empty cup to fill up with something different. Our system is very similar. Energetically, within that sacral space, you are holding desires that you were told would make you enough. They would make you safe. They would allow you to be loved. They would allow you to be celebrated and accepted by your peers to be important. And I share these specific examples because all of the energy that they're pointing out right now are elements of both root energy and solar plexus energy. The safety, the enoughness, the feeling valuable. Those energies, the dominant nature of those young energies is the reason in which we often believe that to create something we desire, we have to engage with young energy. The outward, make it happen, do it. That masculine energy of control and organization. But it's the very thing that contradicts natural creation. The receiving and the flow of the energy is the balance. When we make a choice to stop being reactionary, to stop reacting to life with planning, control, safety. What happens is that we start to see that there's more choice than maybe we have allowed ourselves to engage with. And today I hope that this podcast will encourage you to lean into the consideration of the choices that you may have. The truth of the matter about our safety and engaging with creating a life that we don't truly desire, is that we convince ourselves to stay in the familiar to be safe. But the truth is, most of the people who are encouraging you to do that, even you who might be encouraging yourself unconsciously to do that, the truth is that you're probably not very safe to begin with. If you're experiencing chronic physical pain, chronic emotional discomfort, chronic mental discomfort, if you feel disconnected spiritually, if you do not feel ignited by the way you invest your vital life energy, the way that you contribute to the world, then you are not in a state of thriving, you are in a state of survival. And being within that state of survival is this repeating message within the system that keeps saying, I am not safe, I am not safe, I am not safe. Therefore, I must fill in the blank. And the fill in the blank gets filled with things like I must sacrifice myself. I must not go to be at my children's events because I need to overgive at work. And there's many, many more examples. I'm sure many of you have personal examples rising as you're listening to this. There is always a price that gets paid, whether you stay in the familiar or whether you go into the unknown, unfamiliar zone. The price that you are paying to stay within your familiar zone is very apparent to you, though it probably goes very denied within the system. We are afraid to admit to ourselves often of the dissatisfaction that exists. It's why the system will organically self-shame, let the guilt rise when we start to desire something different than is existing within the familiar zone. Because our mechanism that's meant to allow us to stay safe screams out from the unconscious, I don't know what's next. I can't predict that you could fail, right? And all the self-doubt, the self-defeating energy starts to kind of take over like this wave of emotion to crash on our dreams and on our desires. We convince ourselves that if we stay in one place, we the job will continue to give us the money, the people will continue to be there, that we will be safe, that it's predictable, that someday I will finally move outside of it. But there's two challenges here. The first one is recognition that you're not actually safe because life has no guarantees. And it's a universal spiritual truth that nothing is permanent. And the second piece of that challenge comes with the time that gets wasted, the price that gets paid on not stepping in to why your soul actually came to this planet. I want you to hear divinity loud and clear today, and I want to invite you into the belief of this truth that you came here for a purpose. If you believe in divine messages, in synchronicities, then you know there's no such thing as coincidences. That everything is being divinely orchestrated, even the things that you don't like. The things that are burning you out right now are meant to be awakening you to point you to say, this is not the way. This is not the path. There's another choice here. And often it has to get so uncomfortable that we're willing to move forward into the uncomfortable unknown. Sometimes many of us wait until the discomfort is just so large that the choice of the unknown suddenly doesn't look so bad. You can wait for the price to continue to be paid, to continue to be drained, to continue to be burnt out, unfulfilled, until it gets so uncomfortable you have no choice but to move, or you can choose now in your inner knowing to trust what your soul is calling in and move with it. No matter what path you choose, you're paying a price. Many people say they want to become a millionaire. For you spiritual entrepreneurs who are here with me today, I want you to hear me when I say this. We want all the money. But the question is, can you pay the price? Because there's always an even exchange. And this isn't to shame around money. The value that spiritual business owners, spiritual entrepreneurs give to the world is so invaluable. It's actually not the world that's at fault for undervaluing us, it's ourselves. Because the truth is that we are undervaluing the spiritual gifts we have because we find them to be intangible. So it feels challenging to place a value on them. And so we lower the price, we over-explain, we defend that it's working. And in all of that, excusing it, we shrink that spiritual power down to say it's not worth very much. So there's a piece of you that is meant to see and understand and claim the value that's within you. As it pertains to this podcast, though, what I wanted to really narrow in on here isn't that we should feel ashamed for wanting to be a millionaire or wanting the money. It's not that, oh, can you really pay that price? The price isn't what we've guilted ourselves into believing. The price comes with what it takes to actually get to the levels of success that we want to get to. Because it takes this constant investing in the self. It takes this constant getting out of our comfort zones. It takes believing in ourselves when we have zero proof, even though there's a ton of proof, but we feel like we have zero proof that it will work out. I haven't done it yet. I don't know if I can do it, but I have to believe in myself enough to say yes to myself. I feel the solar plexus burned so warm right now. It's actually raising from the sacral. So you're getting a transmission and a healing as you listen to this podcast. So I want you to take a deep breath in. Just receive that. Yes, let it rise. The desire, the truth, the inner knowing to say, I can do this. Even with my doubt, I'm going to still act in accordance with my yes, with the price that I'm going to pay to say I believe in myself. Because the road to your greatness comes with a lot of what people perceive as failures. Why do we perceive them as failures? Because our ego feels hurt when we're not an immediate success, when things don't work out the way we thought, when we have to try another way, as if the path was meant to be linear and straight and smooth. For all of you here, you know growth is not linear. And so the path looks much like weaving in and out of the woods. It's not just this beautiful, straight, cleared path. It's a journey of exploration, which is why the sacral energy of what you desire coming online is so important. Our sacral energy houses and holds that curiosity. And when we desire more, we often have to pay the price of infinite things. I share the example with you of the unknown, of the uncomfortable. But as you also know, if you've done any kind of spiritual growing and evolving on your own path, there's also the price of lost relationships. There's a price of outgrowing people that once knew you, that can no longer relate to who you're becoming. There's a price of outgrowing where you live. And the prices, we don't pay all of them necessarily. But there is always a price. Much like in episode 33 of Energy Linguist Podcast, we talked about the desire people say they have for change, but they don't really want anything to change. And Divinity was very insistent that this next podcast be about the price, be about the awareness that there's always an even exchange because there's so much you gain. And there's much you give to gain. Because we don't exist in polarization, it's not one or the other. In fact, if you've ever heard around investment and the circulation of money, money must circulate to grow. If we hoard it, it's actually an inadvertent communication to the universe that we don't believe more is coming. And that hoarding is a lack of vibration. So though often it's a scary to invest in ourselves, it's scary to move forward, it's scary to try the unknown thing. That yes, the willingness to allow that release actually is what allows it to return. And so this. Same goes for what we lose, the price we pay for our evolution versus what we gain, because what we gain is invaluable. Many people will choose whether consciously or unconsciously, both actually, to not evolve because I don't feel that the price is worth it. I don't want to pay the price of losing relationships. I don't want to pay the price of being misunderstood. I don't want to pay the price of investing in myself and feeling like I still don't know who I am, what I'm doing, where I'm going. But there's a much bigger price when we stay. The price for not growing when we are naturally called to evolve doesn't just mean stagnation. It actually means disintegration. The price for not going is to conform, is to say, I don't believe I deserve better. I don't believe I'm worth more. I don't believe that I deserve relationships for people who can truly see me and value me for who I am. There's a price for action, but there's also an extreme price for inaction. The price that gets paid for not moving and not moving quickly when called to is your sacred life. It's your sacred gifts. Maybe the untapped ones that you don't quite know yet. And though you might believe the price is your comfort, the majority of us who are being called to grow are truly not in a comfortable place. Just because you haven't experienced yet extraordinary relationships that are reciprocal and unconditional doesn't mean they don't exist. Just because you haven't experienced yet abundance flowing to you without end, no matter how much you invest, no matter how much you spend, no matter how much you grow, doesn't mean it's not possible. But there's one promise. It won't be possible from where you're at. What you can be sure of is that the things you think are impossible may simply just not be possible from the container and the frequency that you're existing in. But it doesn't mean they don't exist. And you know that to be true because you see other people in the world living in alignment with what they're here to do, living in fulfillment, living in financial abundance, living in the excitement of what they get to create and who they get to create it with. I'm one of those people. You can feel it in my vibration when I talk about it. It is the most exciting, peaceful thing you could imagine to be in the wholeness of whom what you are, loved for who and what you are while creating the things you came here to create. It's why I lead souls to that very place within the self to return to that wholeness so that they can do exactly what I'm doing in their own unique way, to share what only you can share with the world. And so today I want to invite you into meditating on these messages that divinity is channeling around the truth of the price that gets paid. Because you do desire something great. You do desire something that's juicy and overflowing and fun and new, that's filled with love, that's filled with compassion. You deserve to be seen as you are, to not have to defend and overexplain it. You deserve to see the world differently and share that differentness with the world. You deserve to be loved for being that differentness in the world. And you can be. And so today I want you to weigh out what the price is for you. And I want you to decide what you are worth. What is it worth to you to come here and fulfill what you came here to do? What is it worth to you to be living in your highest potential, in the highest alignment, in the highest connection with source? Because when you really meditate on that and connect to it, you'll discover that there's nothing as valuable as you and that you're worth every challenge and discomfort. You're worth every price to pay to allow yourself to fully bloom and blossom into all you're meant to be. And so my hope to you today is that you receive this light and love. You allow it to take root within you and to become freer to choose the path that is challenging but is calling you forward, sending you so much love as you receive this healing light.
