This is Acoustic Avenue. I'm Ted Crouch, your host, with Joe Little. On Acoustic Avenue, we recognize with respect and gratitude that these lands where we live, work, and play our music remain home to a number of indigenous nations and people. We acknowledge this land out of respect for the indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. To start things off, for today's program, here's Joe. Christmas.

The holidays season. For most people, but not all, it is the time for family, festive meals, cheery decor, gift giving, and Christmas songs. For others, it is the time of year they get the blues. And although Christmas music has been written and performed in every style of the genre of magic, the blues probably wasn't the first genre that populated your head. Or even the second or third. The blues is defined as long as emotional expression often reflecting the things of hard results. Although traditionally actually, the blues were full of result.
