SPEAKER_00

Where would you play? Where's a dream place to play?

SPEAKER_02

Where would I play? You know what is funny because I think about drinking beer in the middle they have to. Yeah, go for it. Thanks. You know, I don't even judge, girl. You good.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, it's Deb. It's Happy Hour with Deb. I have a good day today. Chandler Flint's in the house today, and I've got Gage Briney with me as my co-host as my sexy co-host. Good day today. It is a good day. So nice to meet you. You too. Seriously. I've heard nothing but just like incredible things about you.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you. You too. Seriously. They can't say enough that's good about it.

SPEAKER_03

We love you.

SPEAKER_00

I love you. I do. I know. We were we've been talking all morning, like the power of like good friends and and good people and surrounding yourself with good energy. And and this is your first podcast. I feel so honored. Like when you have a bar on in Nashville, like when and you get it named after you wait for that. Right, you're gonna be this big crazy star. You and I are going VIP meeting ballot. Absolutely. Um so like I I want you to remember that. I want you to be like I was on this crazy blonde from Philadelphia's podcast one day.

SPEAKER_02

Very crazy girl. We're we gotta listen.

SPEAKER_00

I know I only really resonate with the crazy, like the normal kind of throw me off, you know? Like like my friends would have like normal jobs, and I'm like, What do you mean?

SPEAKER_02

How do you trap?

SPEAKER_00

How do you exist? I know, right? Um like I know. They have regular lives though, but I'm like, I think they're settling for I don't even know what that would be like. No, me neither. Me neither. Me neither. I try to throw a little crazy in every day. So tell me about your music. Tell me when you the brooch is beautiful.

SPEAKER_03

She's still stylish from head to toe 24-7. Really? Just see her closets.

SPEAKER_00

You just see her closets. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Closets. Too much, too many clothes. It's okay.

SPEAKER_00

You wear them beautifully. Well, thank you, baby. And if you can, you should. Thank you. I'll take it. You know what? That's how we're going to go back to the case. If you can, you should. Should you can, you should. Tell me about music. When did you get started?

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so you know what I was thinking about how to like say this on a first podcast. I actually came to Nashville for a music marketing internship. Stop it. I did. And I've always wanted to sing, um, but I did sports through college, and if you don't train at something, you don't really get out in front of people and go do it. You don't. And so I came here for the music marketing internship, and uh he ended up asking me if I could sing for a project that he was on. I'm here where I am because of it. And yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

But all these little things, you know, get us to where we are.

SPEAKER_02

They are, and it's all like a journey, everything's connected, and it's cool how each thing is like a stepping stone to the next. But music has always been something that I have wanted to do, and I finally feel like I've found my group of people.

SPEAKER_00

I love that you found them. You could not have picked better.

SPEAKER_03

We couldn't have either. We Chandler is just oh.

SPEAKER_00

These guys love hard. I love that. They love hard.

SPEAKER_02

You have to. That's the only way to do it. If you're heartbroken, at least you know you went in and gave like your all itself. Absolutely. It's helped to have the right kind of people around that like have the surround yourself with good people. That want to do it, and you know, Gage is a go-getter. So is Bella. Oh, Bella's a beast, man.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, she's a beast. Like, she can perform at night, and then I can text her at seven and she in the morning and she answers right away. She's a Bella. We love you, sister. It's insane. She's a beast. She's a beast. So, what made you like start to you got to meet them. Yes. When you were here. Do you work with Bella?

SPEAKER_02

I I've we've all worked together all the time. I've been, I'm finishing up my debut stuff right now with his name's Corey Cottle. He's the keys player for Tyler Childers. Yeah. And so he's producing all my stuff right now. We're finishing up. I think we're on song seven right now. What? Exciting. I actually have a song I've been teasing. It's funny because today's uh St. Patrick's Day, but it's called Just My Luck. Just a It's fun. It's a barn burner. It's a good old song. It's a barn burner, garbage. I love that. You're like, you can't help but do a little two-step to it. I love that.

SPEAKER_00

But that's uh that's so is there a whole album that will be released or are you dropping some stuff?

SPEAKER_02

It's been a long time trying to figure out ideas.

SPEAKER_00

It's kind of like the gentleman before you. It's been two and a half years in the making. I don't think people understand. It takes a long time. It takes a long time, it takes a lot of money, it takes a lot of work. Right. Like I think people think that, you know, from the outside looking in, that they just see you guys like, you know, as these people that have all this money, and you know, and but like I don't think people even remotely understand how much money it costs too much like time and effort.

SPEAKER_03

Like I've watched Chandler like work, like this girl is constantly working, but it's like people don't see like the creative side that they're doing and like the songwriting process.

SPEAKER_00

It's really a lot of work, and everything costs so much money absorbent.

SPEAKER_02

It costs a lot of money, but you know what? It's uh thankfully I've got my my parents. It's a labor of love, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, yeah, and really it's good, and we're gonna talk about this too. It's good to go in things, don't go with a scarcity mindset, right? If you have a scarcity mindset, you know what? You'll always be chasing money. You will always be chasing money, you know, as opposed to abundance coming to you.

SPEAKER_02

My parents have always told me that if you're if you're passionate about something, you're gonna find a way to make money.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely, and do what you love and do it every single day.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely, without a doubt.

SPEAKER_00

Who is your biggest influence in country music?

SPEAKER_02

Whoo, that you know what? It is all over the place. Um this is something I should have thought about way beforehand. I would say that I really I'm I'm attached to the old school country music because my mom used to even start over songs. She'd be like, you gotta listen to the words. You didn't you didn't listen to the words, you gotta you gotta listen again. And so I'd I mean George Jones, all that, like Tammy Wynette, the Juds, any of any of those influences of like I feel like there's so much specificity in their music and their lyrics.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I would say that the Juds, I haven't heard that in a long time. I always ask that question because somebody has one spark, yeah, right, right that turns their their corner with a guitar in a dream. Right, you know, and I think I haven't heard that in a really long time.

SPEAKER_03

Her music is very much like that old school I love country, which is like you don't really hear it that much anymore of. Yeah. So it's like really just that.

SPEAKER_00

We've turned like the corner almost to like pop and country together, which I think the Kalamia love, the like I love the rap and together and that kind of stuff too. If you could play anywhere, right? Let's pretend Gage and I have a magic wand, and I know we're gonna have a magic wand.

SPEAKER_02

I think we all have a magic wand in just totally.

SPEAKER_00

So I always say, I'm like, let me get my magic wand out, we'll get that taken care of. Um, where would you play? Where's a dream place to play?

SPEAKER_02

Where would I play? You know what is funny because I think about it. Drinking beer in the middle of the afternoon. Yeah, go for it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, thanks. You guys want it?

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't even judge, girl. Are you good?

SPEAKER_00

Um I don't judge either.

SPEAKER_02

I would say right now, personally, where I'm at, I think it would be really cool to be in an opening slot for somebody. And this is just where I'm at. Originally, you know, of course, one day I want to be um whatever, but I feel like the there's some really cool girls that are pioneering some stuff in country music, and it would be really cool to be a part of like a I don't know, to there are the girls are kicking.

SPEAKER_00

The girls are growing.

SPEAKER_03

The girls are growing. Like I would love to see you open for like Ella Langley.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Kelsey Ballerini. Can I tell you that she's in Texas?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's an incredible song.

SPEAKER_00

It is the most in I'm telling you. I love Ella Langley. Oh, I love her too. And she's come such a long like that's gotta be a huge inspiration. Oh, yes. You know, to watch them. The girls are kicking ass in music.

SPEAKER_02

It's nice to not hear that from the business side as much of like, you know, there's a little bit that's always been like, oh, well, you know, you have this obstacle because you're a female, which I understand. Like I get, but um, it's it's cool to see some success happen.

SPEAKER_00

And there are no obstacles. No, there aren't. I agree. I agree with like that's not an obstacle, that's an opportunity. Exactly. You know, you have a beautiful mindset too. Thank you. Like you have a winning, she's got good energy.

SPEAKER_03

Positive energy. She's very positive. We like need Chandler. So then if everybody else can get a bit of Chandler, they they need her. They they need they need her too.

SPEAKER_00

As soon as this release, she's gonna be booked on 50 more podcasts.

SPEAKER_03

I don't sneak like a superstar every day, and she's a superstar. It's really great. It's really great at all. Chandler's good at like everything.

SPEAKER_00

I think you were essentially like the queen of everything I'm talking about. Yeah, I'm gonna sit next to her. That's because they haven't seen me do everything. That's why. Oh, they've meant to be.

SPEAKER_03

But you always make it look so beautiful and seamless. Everything she does.

SPEAKER_00

She showed up looking like a badass rock star. And she does. Totally.

SPEAKER_03

If you saw her closet, you'd be like, whoa.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I like it. Yeah, no, I honestly I'm it's funny too.

SPEAKER_03

She's the creative director, the creative stylist, everything. Yeah, super. You should see her house.

SPEAKER_00

Uh what I want to come over next time. I come over. I want to come over. Well, let's go for St. Patrick's Day. Oh, we got a damn film all day. Oh, yeah. Hey, that other day is we got it. So, what's the big dream? Tell me what big dream, what your life's gonna look like in five years.

SPEAKER_02

The big dream is to be doing exactly what we're doing, but hopefully, you know, I would love to reach more people, of course. This dream doesn't happen without an audience, right? Amen.

SPEAKER_00

You know, and if there weren't fans, there'd be no music.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. My name might be up there, but it is absolutely a team effort. And so I would love to have a team. I'd love to have a group of fan base people that can, you know, it's that like the music that I've been working on for so long, it would be that would be I feel very fulfilled with that. But at the end of the day, like this is not my this is not my gift to share. And so if if I can go out and do whatever I can with it, I'm really excited to see. Do I want the best? Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So you deserve the best, you'll get the best, no doubt in my mind. But I think that it's that's a really important point to touch on. You know, if God has blessed you with a talent, it is your obligation to him and to yourself to chase that dream. I know. No matter how hard it is, you know, because and you know, I think that this is a my favorite part about this show is you know, like I love to see people grow into what they're becoming. Yes, you know, and it's such it's so humbling to me that you guys would come here and take the time to tell me the stories because when we air these shows, you have just said to somebody else, just do it. Just do it, just do it. Absolutely, just chase your dreams, live your life. Always go back to something else.

SPEAKER_03

We don't wait for those things to happen to us. I I'll tell you between me, Chandler, and Bella, we're we're always on the road or doing a show. And we'll just be like, okay, we're going on tour, we're doing four shows, and and I'll perform, and both of them will perform, and we create our own. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. Amen. Because you have to go for it. I tell people, I'm like, life doesn't go to you. You go to life. That's so true.

SPEAKER_02

You gotta make your own opportunities.

SPEAKER_00

Because it's not, yep, it is. Tell me how important the fans are to you.

SPEAKER_02

The fans are everything. You know, I look at my family, it's been absolutely like the that's incredible.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so glad you have a wonderful family unit.

SPEAKER_02

And so I feel like anybody that's come into it's been a quick, you know, I really appreciate this stage in music because there's been where I can reach out to the people that stay for a writer's round, and you they come up to you and they're like, hey, I really enjoyed that song. Like that, that I mean so much to me.

SPEAKER_00

I love going to writer's rounds. I think it's the raw music is just so good.

SPEAKER_02

But that personal connection between people at this stage, like I would hope to have that with a lot of people one day. And I know, you know, hopefully it gets to the point where we can reach a lot of people, but you'll totally reach a lot of people.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it helps you fuel to energize for the next one.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe someone, you know, hears something that really the biggest thing about songwriting, in my opinion, is that if I can say something that maybe someone's too scared to admit, and then we get to empathize together in their car or wherever, then that that's enough.

SPEAKER_00

I I totally love that too, because I think and it's so this is such a great city. The vibe in this city is unbelievable. I know. I leave here and I go back home and like a deflated balloon. It is, I need to do it. It's not like I need to move to Nashville. It is, it's a great city to do. Like, so this is it. You're all in. This is it.

SPEAKER_02

I'm on this is no plan to do it. I love it.

SPEAKER_00

They're not gonna let you have a plan B.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, my parents honestly are my my parents have always been. I'm lucky that they're encouraging too, that they're like, go follow it. Oh, really? We've got a whole family of people who are still, you know, asking mommy and daddy for money. Dude, let me tell you something.

SPEAKER_00

Any parent that's I like I remember when my daughter is older now, but when she was growing up, our financial advisor said, the worst investment you can make is in your adult children. I'm like, who doesn't give their money to their kids? Like, give my kid call, I'd be like, all right. Yeah, this is if that's what you need. I mean, I think part of the reason you work hard as a parent is to give your kids the opportunity that you never had.

SPEAKER_02

That's the coolest, it's super selfless too, because like, I mean, I've watched them pull any dream that they want to, and my both my parents are entrepreneurs, and so it's you know, probably a little different than Yeah, well, you guys are entrepreneurs. Right, and so maybe it's not scary to me because I've seen that. And they've always been like, go for it, go for it, go for it. Right. So I can't necessarily empathize as much with people that have that going against them, but what I can say is that it really does just depend on if you go out and do it. You just have to try. Just go out and try and do your best and go and do it. Right.

SPEAKER_00

How important is networking in this city?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my goodness. Networking is everything. This, like, your real job starts after the show. Absolutely. Or before the show. Yes. Like the amount of times I don't want to put makeup on.

SPEAKER_00

I know. I know.

SPEAKER_02

Every time I have to shoot a reel, I'm like, yes. I'm gonna have to wash it. My hair doesn't be washed in three days. Right. I usually get together at least once or twice a week, right? And we just we get ready and we do it all day. Because we're like, I just, yes.

SPEAKER_00

But networking, you always look fabulous, though, in everything.

SPEAKER_03

I'm my lord.

SPEAKER_00

You do, you always look like fresh, even that like you do. Like, I when I roll out of bed, like I'm an ugly human being. Oh, I look terrible. Oh, no. I'll take a photo, I will prove it to everybody. You're not gonna air that. Like, we're not gonna yuck her, yum, she's beautiful just the way she is. But yeah, it is. It's definitely uh it's a grind. It's a grind. Do you handle your own social media?

SPEAKER_02

Right now I do. Yeah, I do. I would uh, you know, it's it's been fun to watch him too because he's really good about just posting like a lot of things. Oh, he's the best, I know.

SPEAKER_00

He he makes it look easy. And I feel like a slacker when I say shit.

SPEAKER_02

I hold on to a lot of stuff, and they've helped me like get into that just like putting it out. Um, but social media, it's tricky. It's it's something I'm definitely learning. I need to learn more about. And I am changing, though, doesn't it? Oh, it does rolls of it too. It does. It's a roller coaster. It is a roller coaster.

SPEAKER_03

And you can't let it get you down. You just have to that I'm relentless. Yeah, I will post. I don't care. You think algorithm, you think you're gonna get rid of me? I wish six to seven times a day. That thing, though. Uh-uh. No, you gotta just post. That's what I like to tell all artists. Post, post, post, post. Even if you post the same thing three times, post. Just post it, right? Post it.

SPEAKER_00

Have you ever had like a mean comment?

SPEAKER_02

Not yet. Dude, that's another level of like we've made it, I think.

SPEAKER_00

But somebody called me a Karen. They did. And said, first of all, if you know me, I'm the anti-Karen. Right. That's just goes. So I replied, thanks for following the show.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, for real. Hey, at least you those.

SPEAKER_00

Jackass, and I know you're watching. He said to me, He goes, Your nasty show is never gonna show up on my algorithm. I'm like, it just did. How do you know me then? Like it just did. Right. But I think you know what? You're not a rock star until somebody hates what you're doing. And this is what I lit, I told my husband, he's like, Oh my god, you're you're a little twisted. I'm like, that man's probably 48 years old, living in his parents' brace. He probably just broke their dryer, playing video games all day, yeah, waiting for his weed plant to grow. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

It's evil. It is. I have had one time where I was um, because I'm from Panama City, Florida, which is a real small town. Right. And uh someone, I remember I came home for a local show and someone was like, Who's Chandler Flynn anyway? Which actually inspired the merch. Because I was like, I put that on the bat. Who's Chandler Flynn?

SPEAKER_00

I need a t-shirt.

SPEAKER_02

Who is that anyway? That is, I was like, oh my gosh, I went to high school with your girlfriend, but I hope to see you at the show. Like, right, that's right. I'm like, thanks for watching.

SPEAKER_00

I always say that right, exactly. I think that, you know, and you do have to develop a sort of a thick skin, you know? Because people are by nature, people, most people aren't just nice, they're just not friendly. They it's a jealousy thing. Yeah, yeah. You know, like it's it's always when I always get a comment, I'm always like, shut up. Shut up, shut up.

SPEAKER_03

That's what I do too. I'm just like, whatever.

SPEAKER_00

Whatever, whatever. But yeah.

SPEAKER_03

What are you doing to contribute? Right. Yeah, right, exactly. Besides, you've got zero followers and you have a fake profile picture. Right.

SPEAKER_00

And besides yucking my yum, what else are you doing with your pathetic life? Is the way what's the greatest compliment you've ever received on your music?

SPEAKER_02

That people felt comfortable by the lyrics, that they felt heard. I think that was the coolest thing. Because again, just like we're talking about about the God thing, like whenever when stuff pops into my head, I just laugh because I'm like, it came out of nowhere. It really does come out of nowhere. Like writing lyrics, and you know that nowhere is, of course. Right. And uh it's just cool to think that like you can frame words in a certain way that people are like, hey, that that hits different. It's just it's cool to me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's you get like the inspiration, like middle of the night, like you wake up, you're like, it's all over. I gotta write that down, right? Like you must be the same way too. Like you hear something, you're like, hold on a second.

unknown

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah. We all get very distracted with our ADD pretty fast. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you don't even know. Oh, I was talking to my friend in the airport yesterday. It was a colossal hot mess yesterday, and usually that kind of shit does like water off a duck because I travel so much. And I I'm bringing up one thing, and she goes, Maybe we should talk to our family doctor about the ADD. I'm like, I think it's what makes the show good.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if I should I like it.

SPEAKER_00

I do, I like it too. It works for me. It works for me.

SPEAKER_02

We all have short attention spans. It's nice. We gotta like it.

SPEAKER_00

Totally. Totally. My husband's like, you're at a 10, I'm at a two, let's meet halfway at five. Five. Five works. Yes. It's like because I'm always at a two.

SPEAKER_02

How long have you been married?

SPEAKER_00

Uh six years. This is my second.

SPEAKER_02

Congrats.

SPEAKER_00

This thank you so much. He is um we we collectively cannot do what we do if we don't have an incredible support system, whether it's your husband, your wife, your friends, your family, whatever. Um, for somebody to let me chase my crazy dream and still be proud. Yeah. The show is two years old this month. I don't know the exact date. Sorry, happy hour. And you know, it's really funny. I was talking to my assistant, and I'm like, happy hours two years old, which is a huge accomplishment. Those podcasts don't make it to episode 10.

SPEAKER_02

You did this. You're doing it.

SPEAKER_00

I did, you know, here's the the greatest part about it is that I feel so honored to be amongst all of you. I truly do. And everybody holds a special place in my heart. I haven't met one person yet that I was like, out of my chair. But you're only as good as the people you're surrounded by. You know, I have the best team in media and um they're family to me. And I think that shows in this show like how much we truly care about each other.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. Also, you're very easy to talk to. Oh, thanks so much.

SPEAKER_00

I know Susie talks a lot. That's what my friends call me. I love Susie talks a lot.

SPEAKER_03

I love it so much. It's so comfortable.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's good energy, I think. That's the one thing I can say about this show, and you'll be back so many times. I can't wait. I wish I was going to Charlie's with you. Oh, please, anytime you want, girl, pop a chair. You're totally gone. Um, I think it's it's an easy show. Like we were talking about because we're shooting the CRS, and I was last year, I'm in the restroom, and here's a publicist shoving. I'm like, we don't have any spots left. And you have to remember the show was only a year old then. So I was like, am I doing that wrong? If people are gonna hate me, blah blah blah blah blah, like all these things, and now you're like, this is my show. I'm gonna determine the quality of guests that are on this show.

SPEAKER_02

What a cool spot to get to, too.

SPEAKER_00

I can tell you. Because in the beginning, I mean, when you say you have a podcast, people are like, gosh, who doesn't have a podcast? Right. You know, but it it really feels good to be in a position where I'm like, and I I'll I'll call Mitch and be like, what do you think of this person? What do you think? Like, do you think they're a fit for the show?

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um, because I only want I only want big dreamers. I only want people who are living out loud on the show. Oh, yeah. You know, and I've been so blessed with with you know, guests. So blessed. Like I've had just the I Bella and I met because I loved her bad boyfriend thing online. Dude, that one was good. That was good. She's got some the bad boyfriend thing is got some new stuff. I know it's so good. She's got some good stuff. And I literally commented on for the show and we just started going back and forth. And I think Bella is an inspir. I think you're an inspiration. I think you're an inspiration, and I think you dream big and don't right. I know, I know. People who dream big like us are like, they're like, No, you gotta have a thing you gotta have a little bit of crazy to talk to strangers, you do. I've been to two weddings of complete strangers I've met on flights.

SPEAKER_02

That's awesome. Yeah, that's incredible.

SPEAKER_00

I do.

SPEAKER_02

Honestly, I still have to.

SPEAKER_00

It's a whole nother, it's a whole nother to uh to like getting drunk on a plane. I've been to two actual weddings that I had to fly to. That's incredible. Strangers I've met on planes.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my gosh, that is fantastic. It doesn't surprise me at all. No, it doesn't. It doesn't surprise me at all.

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, and to go through with it, like that's the kind of stuff like I love. Can I tell you the one was in Florida and I walked in and the mother bride's like, I've heard nothing but great things about it. Stop it. That's so sweet. I'm like, what in first of all, to somebody to invite you to. The most important day of their life. What an honor. Truly. Like, what an honor to be there to witness it. And like, I feel so blessed that somebody would think that I would be. Oh, that's and I am a a like a party favor. Yeah. Yeah. My friends are like, just take Deb, it'll be fine. She'll she'll make the whole world laugh. It'll be really figure it out. Yeah. But I love people like us that like live out loud. Oh, yeah. You know, although it's sometimes it's bad. Like we'll go out to dinner, and my husband will be like, it doesn't matter where the waiter went to college. Just stop. You don't need to fix that he had a bad childhood. But I love, and we talked about this before. I love people.

SPEAKER_03

I do too.

SPEAKER_00

And I the the more we've gotten into the social media and everything else, we've lost the ability to connect with human beings. And that's sad. It is sad. It's really sad that you know 20-year-olds can't look up and have a conversation. I know that's that's bad. We're we're doing them a disservice. That's true. By teaching them, you know, we're ice it's self-isolating to be on the phone all the time, but that's the whole airport yesterday. And there was this group, the plane, the plane was delayed.

SPEAKER_02

I heard that was everywhere yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you know, we were getting thunderstorms in Philadelphia, which I didn't even know happened. Um but the plane had been there, I was telling Gage for four hours, and then it's time to board, and they're like, Um, there's a technical issue. I'm like, four hours ago, we didn't know that. Yeah, we didn't know that. Like we just let it kind of hang out there, and then, you know, and then I got on the plane. And I love a good stranger. So the woman behind me and I were talking, and the guy that was sitting next to me was so sick. I know he started COVID. I know it. Oh my god. Like I was so sick. And all I'm thinking, not really a germ phobe, but all I kept thinking was a small plane. I got it was a small plane, and I got I got four days of shoots ahead of me. Can't can't feel like yeah, it's it's I know. You like strange.

SPEAKER_02

You look like you're doing well so far. Thanks.

SPEAKER_00

I did good. I actually got a good night's sleep and a shout out to the printing house. Um, it's a new downtown uh my friend Gail. It's gorgeous. They m it's the the roof bar and that is gonna be so layers. You know they're doing live music on Friday nights.

SPEAKER_03

I heard about that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they're doing they're actually having a little party this afternoon.

SPEAKER_03

This afternoon.

SPEAKER_00

Gail would love to see you. You should pop in and see.

SPEAKER_03

I would love to pop in.

SPEAKER_00

She would love it. This is this is the I want to know more about that later. All right, okay. Gage is on my show, right? And we're filming in her hotel that's brand new. Um, it's a Marriott, and it's just it's a really cool hotel. All of a sudden, Gail, who's my friend, who she starts this from the ground up. She gets in, does these projects, gets them profitable, and then moves on to the next one. She comes around the corner and she's like, Oh my god, you're the Sauvignon Blanca. Oh my goodness. We're in the legit middle of filming. Yeah. She's like, oh my God. She's like, my sister-in-law loves you. All of a sudden, she runs down a list of 50 people that love Gage. I'm not surprised. We are we're cracking up. I'm like, this is funny. It is like she was fabulous.

SPEAKER_03

I love her.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, she's fabulous. We both said we want to grow up and be like her.

SPEAKER_03

I do.

SPEAKER_00

Mate same. God, she's like the mayor, damn. And the kindness in this woman.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe we should go tonight.

SPEAKER_00

If you guys have time, stop over and see Gail. She would be so psyched to see you. She would be so psyched. And the whole thing. I was like, we gotta meet her. I gotta meet you. You gotta meet her. And she's the kind that will like take people under her wing, and she's just wonderful. And we usually shoot there. Um, but we love to spread the the wealth here to Mitch, too. Like, we love Mitch's. This is Mitch's whole complex here, so we love to we love to spread. And his wife is an artist. Oh, cool. Yes, and she just released a single not that long ago. Actually, she'll be on listen. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Mitch, do you remember what it is? Yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Uh okay. I'm gonna go look it up. She's a rock star. Very cool. You know what she is? She's she's sunshine into human. I love that. Those are my favorite kind of people. I love her. I love her. I know. She's like you just feel like better when you're around her. That's the best. That's the best. She's awesome. I don't know. I you can tell some people they're that's just DNA'd. Yes. You know, like they were born with the ability.

SPEAKER_02

You really can't force that.

SPEAKER_00

Nope. And it's not teachable.

SPEAKER_02

No, it's it's not teachable.

SPEAKER_00

So neither is loyalty.

SPEAKER_03

No. You either have it or you don't.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I totally agree. Yeah. So where would if you had a bar on Broadway, what would you name it? Ooh.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Oh my. I don't know if I can come over it. Just my luck. Just my sure. Just my luck. Let's go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, just my luck. Chandler Flint's Just My Luck. Just luck.

SPEAKER_00

I'd say we've been playing with uh Should we get our own box, me and Bella and Gage? Like our own box. Yeah, that would be great. Absolutely. We want a private booth.

SPEAKER_02

Of course. Yes. No, we don't, you know, we love people, but it can get very good.

SPEAKER_03

Chandler Flint's Just My Luck. Just my luck. I would be going. But let's put it on, let's put it instead of Broadway, let's put it on um Midtown. Yeah. Midtown.

SPEAKER_00

I have just fallen in love with Midtown.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

I think people think that when you work here, you're at Tootsie's and you're right. That's the last place. I can't even tell you that. I can't even tell you the last time I was on Broadway. Like fair. I can't even tell you.

SPEAKER_03

Midtown is just Midtown space. Yeah, yeah. My favorite bar.

SPEAKER_00

I hear it's a great place to live, too. Like Yeah, the gulch and stuff.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's it's booming over there. It's amazing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I hear it's it's completely amazing.

SPEAKER_03

It's amazing. I love it. That's where I want to see your bar at. Yeah, let's do it. I want to see it there. Next start building. Right next to Odie's, because that's my favorite bar in Nashville.

SPEAKER_00

I was in Odie's one night. Writer's round. I love a good writer's round, man. I just think it's so good.

SPEAKER_02

I love people just listening. Those are I you know, before I even knew what writers' rounds were, which is funny, I we had this thing called Stars and Guitars in Panama City. And it was the first time that I ever seen people sit on stools and explain like how the music is written and everything. And it's so cool to let people in on that because it's so much more than just what you hear on the radio or whatever. Absolutely. Or like to me, it's interesting, and of course all of us it is, but you know, some people I'm sure are like, whatever, play the song. Right. Um but it's just it's cool. Deeper dive. Yeah, that's what this show is about.

SPEAKER_00

Like, it's not just the song. You're gonna get to know the artist behind it. It's why we have my dream is a tour bus for this show. That's that's the logo. That would be cool, right? On a black tour bus, would that not be fun? That would be so fun. I could take my dog with me. Be cool to have her. We could all get on it. We always gotta take the dog in. That's it. Oh, I love a dog. A King Charles Cavalier. She's this dog, I'll tell you. She's 10. Oh. Ten and a half. Um she's a nut. I I'm packing, I've been traveling forever. And I'm packing a suitcase, and she jumps in the suitcase. Stop. She's like, and then as soon as it was like time for me to leave, she's like, she was having a legit like meltdown. I'm like, oh my god, just get me. Told my husband, I'm like, just get me in the car before like she completely loses her mind. But I think a tour bus would be so much fun. Oh, yeah, but we can take it to every city, yes, right? We'll get your logo, we'll get gateway, we'll get Bellas, we'll get all these. It'd be really, really fun. That's it. By the time we're done, this can I tell you about our sponsor? Yeah. All right. So, Freedom Brew is a brand new beer. If you love beer, we'll send you home with some beer. Um, he was a vet, and he this gives back to veterans, and he's helped get raising money to help suicide with veterans.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, that's amazing.

SPEAKER_00

I work with veterans uh for free because we wouldn't be able to do what we do if they didn't do what they do. And shout out to you, Alan. We love you, my friend. Keep pumping out the beer, keep pumping out. Um, Alan, when I met him, had a very strong uh opinion about us helping each other that we're stronger together, people helping people. I agree. We are, and that's what he's doing, and he's a super cool guy, and we're gonna get him here one time. You'll all get to meet him. He's a super cool dude. His his daughter loves country music and she wants to come to Nashville. And he's like, Is there things to do if you're not 21? I'm like, there's more things to do. Oh, there's tons to do. Right. Like, just don't come here to drink for God's sakes. There's a lot of good things.

SPEAKER_04

There's so much more.

SPEAKER_00

Will you come back and hang out with us? Absolutely. Anytime you'll come back. Anytime you're an absolute delight. Well, vice versa. You seriously. Thank you so much. You have I already knew I was gonna love you. And when you sent the text, I was like, is she kidding? She's gonna do stuff for me. But I know you're gonna be a huge success. Thank you. And I really what's your advice to somebody who's you who has a guitar and a dream? What's your advice?

SPEAKER_02

Just to not to look at the big picture necessarily when it comes to the work because it can get overwhelming. Sure, but to take each day and like you know, something about sports that I learned at the end of it, especially um I went from an individual sport of gymnastics and then during it floor to state. So going from an individual to a team perspective, and it's just to you might not always have a hundred percent that day, but if you give a hundred percent of whatever percentage you have that day, then you're doing your best.

SPEAKER_00

That's beautiful. That would be my gift. That's beautiful. I teach my clients the power of 15 minutes. It's exactly it's a one, it's one percent of your day. We spend more than that scrolling or bitching or looking at a menu to decide what you want. But like if you can give a hundred percent effort for 15 minutes a day consistently, not everyone taking off Saturday or Sunday, you can get anywhere you want to be in this world.

SPEAKER_02

It's only you standing in the way.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, exactly. I tell people, I'm like one step left, get the hell out of your own way. There's a whole life out there, you're messing with it.

SPEAKER_02

I'm a strong believer that if you go out and you have the intention to love people and you network and you do the best that you can to get somewhere that you're gonna you're gonna get somewhere. Absolutely. You reap what you sow. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

And when you give back, it the universe recycles that self-100. I mean, I think the way this podcast grew is because I put myself in position to meet a lot of fabulous people, you know. Absolutely. It is, it's and you really, you know, when you do this and you guys deal with people too, that you know, you're you're I've become very picky. Yeah, like it like. I'm like, don't be bringing that, I don't need that energy in here. I don't, you know. You have to, you have to be. You gotta protect your peace at the end of the day, too.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely. That's what we have been.

SPEAKER_02

It's hard sometimes too when you have such empathy for people. Yeah. Oh, oh. Because you want to see the veterans. Uh, you are too. Me too. It's so hard to not.

SPEAKER_00

I saw my ring doorbell from home in Philadelphia last night, and there was like somebody with like lost puppies. I'm immediately trying to call my husband, be like, you look at the puppies.

SPEAKER_02

It is so like I mean it's such a blessing to have a heart that like runs that deep for everybody, but it is, it's it's hard sometimes.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because you have to stay firm and protecting your pieces. It's the most important part of anything. It really is.

SPEAKER_00

It is because not everybody is, let's face it, as fucking cool as we are.

SPEAKER_03

They're just and doesn't deserve every every access to you. Right. Not everybody needs access to you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we were talking about in the course we shot this access denied, right? Sorry, that credit card didn't work. Um but we were talking about how important it is to not let everybody else's energy stick to you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, especially if they're not coming with the same genuine right, you know, right.

SPEAKER_00

And it's it's that's we were we're people pleasers, we're reformed. Same. I'm learning how to pleasers get there. So no, it's a complete sentence. It is yes, it is, it is a complete sentence. Excellent. I know, right, exactly. I know. Like my friends are like, don't even ask her. She's gonna tell you no. Yeah. Yeah. And I also have one of those friends, too, that like, I'm so busy all the time that they're like, give it to Deb, she'll get it done. Give it to a busy person.

SPEAKER_03

That's how Chandler is.

SPEAKER_00

Give it to Chandler, she'll get it done.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the more busy I am, I feel like I am.

SPEAKER_00

Me too. I run on, it's really funny this week, and I think my husband was like approaching it gently. He's like, You're gonna have a great week. I'm like, dude, you don't have to coach me up. I'm good. I love you. I don't have to coach me up. I'm good at this. But yeah, it is. It's been an it's been an honor to have you on. I can't wait to have you back. Thank you. We're gonna follow your career. Thank you. Like close. I'm gonna check all the clothes on Instagram and see me too.

SPEAKER_03

I would love to.

SPEAKER_02

Come in, try some more.

SPEAKER_03

You should film an episode of your podcast in her creative. No, in your creative studio. She has a new creative studio. I'm gonna plug this thing for right now. She has this new creative studio that she's opened up that you can rent out to do content shoots. What's the name of it again?

SPEAKER_02

We called it the Rhinestone Ranch.

SPEAKER_03

The Rhinestone Ranch.

SPEAKER_00

Rhinestone. Oh, Mitch, we're going to the Rhine. Pack up the cameras. We're going to the rhymes. First of all, I just want to be in a place called the Rhinestone Ranch. You know what's funny?

SPEAKER_02

It's in 12 South, and it's like all these multi-million dollar homes around it, and it's like this one. It's like you can tell. Buy dirt, girl. Buy dirt. Right?

SPEAKER_03

You can, you can. I love it. It's gorgeous. It's wonderful.

SPEAKER_00

It's probably shoot there next time. Tell the audience where they can find you.

SPEAKER_02

They can find me anywhere at Chandler Flint Official. If I'm looking at this camera or this camera, I'm not sure. First podcast. Any camera, any camera. But Chandler Flint Official, it sounds way cooler than I actually am, you know? Girl, get the cool is. But we're we're out here faking it until we make it. So you can find me on that. You're not even faking it.

SPEAKER_00

You're very genuine.

SPEAKER_03

She is very genuine. She is.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, we can't, you know, you can't catch yourself in a lie. You just gotta be what you are. Just gotta go.

SPEAKER_00

Gage, where can the where can the widowers find you?

SPEAKER_03

I'm on Instagram, um, YouTube, TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

Out in real life.

SPEAKER_03

Um out, yeah, out and about at OD's ones.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_03

Um, but yeah, mainly Instagram and TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

Follow these two because you'll really, I love to see you guys interact because the bond is so beautiful. Like I can tell that you're you guys are family. Like no one's there's no man, there's no man down.

SPEAKER_03

No. No, we're like we work as a unit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That's that's that's so that's I want my friends to, I want everything for them. That's the thing. Like, there's so much.

SPEAKER_00

People who want people to win are the best. I want us to be able to do that. Without jealousy, there's room for everyone. Avery. I say that all the time. Like, there's room for everybody at the top.

SPEAKER_02

If there wasn't room for me to begin with, it was because it wasn't there. Right, right. Right. There's room for everybody. Right. Amen. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

You're gonna, she's gonna be a big star. I know.

SPEAKER_03

I'm listening. Chandler can she can work the room, she can get herself into anything. Yeah, I mean, she just did an interview with Lainey Wilson not too long ago. I saw it. Like, she can get it. If anybody can get it, Chandler can get it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, there are some of the opportunities. I know. I'm gonna tell you, people are afraid to hear no. I'm like, no means I can't shock. I'm not scared of anything. Yeah, I'm the same way. I'm not scared. Nothing. And rejection isn't rejection, it's just a not yet. Yep, that's what I always say. I'm like, well, right, amen. That's a really good thing. That's the good advice to give to artists, too, because get comfortable with people telling you no.

SPEAKER_02

They're gonna say it a lot.

SPEAKER_00

They're gonna say it a lot. And if you don't learn to let it roll off you like water off a duck, it's true. You can't take it personally. I don't take anything personally. No. I'm like, and if this was a slap at that, that's on you, not on me. Kind of thing. Because yeah, you're gonna be a big star. Thank you, Love. I'm so excited. She's a sweetheart. I love her. You were so right. Yeah, seriously. She's so great. All right, you'll come back. Uh-uh, yeah. For sure. And you oh, I'm back.

SPEAKER_03

Stop.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like we should be holding hands during our episodes now. We're at the point where Gage and I should be holding in. True. So, Mike, Mike, shout out to Britney. I love you, sister. I have a business coach. She's actually more of a very dear friend, but she's brought in to scale businesses. Okay. Um she's amazing. She's in Hawaii this week on vacation. God bless her. Please wear sunscreen. Don't mess up your beautiful skin. But she was, I was telling her about Gage and how we were gonna, you know, we're we really we want to teach people how to mentally get strong and step into the best chapters of their lives. Without sending sounding like professors with the blackboard behind us, right? And she goes, Oh my god. She goes, I see the two of you have in six months getting a talk show together. Oh I'm like from your lips to God's ears. Cause like I think that you're just manifesting it.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna happen. Totally happen. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

It will, it'll be great. And then we'll shoot it from the rhymes. I love this. This is the power of connection. The power of connection. It is drawing. You know what?

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna say this lightly, so hopefully, I'm gonna say this legally. No one can steal my idea for an upcoming song, but I think there's something to do with people like this, and it has to do with optical delusion.

SPEAKER_00

Yo, you know, shoot. My whole life is delusional. Do you guys know Rami Garrison? Do you guys know Rabini, Rami Garrison? I think she's an artist. She is, oh God, Ram, we love you, sister. She's been on the show several times. She wrote a song called Delusional. Okay, I love it. And I feel like that's my life.

SPEAKER_03

That's my life for sure. I live in delusion.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Well, you know why? Because reality kind of sucks. It does. I don't like it.

SPEAKER_03

So if I just stay here and delusion, amen. That's what I was doing.

SPEAKER_00

It's reality at the time. Oh, absolutely. Because it's just gonna happen. I know. My husband is so grounded and so normal. He was like doing the tax there, Dam. Like, what are you doing? He's like, what is that? The taxes. I'm like, oh yeah, every year. Like, that's a punishment. We have to what? I know. Eddie's so good. He's you guys gotta meet him. You're gonna love him. I can't wait. Oh, he's I can't wait. I'll bring him down for the next year. All right, my friends. I love you. Thanks for being my new best in last year. Anytime, my friend, anytime. It's been an honor.

unknown

Yay!
