We don't care if you're here because you want to be here because you want to be able to one of your buddies. We're just glad you're here. You're listening to the OKS Kill on the Internet, the Hotel Hot Runner podcast. I feel like a fucking retard now when I talk about it. Why? Because you fucked it all up. But it makes it great. It makes me feel stupid. No. Explain it all the time. Now I don't know what else to say. I haven't had time in all actuality up with a new one. Nobody's been at fucking work lately. And I haven't been in the fucking office.
SPEAKER_01I've been here.
SPEAKER_03Anyway. We are glad you're here. Yeah, we are. Love you guys. Oh boy. We're just gonna turn it on down. What a bitches. What a motherfucker. We're gonna just turn it on down. Yeah, fuck it. We're gonna turn it off. Don't rape each other. Big titties. Sorry. Oh god. Anyway. How you doing? I don't fucking know, bro. Anyway, welcome, welcome, welcome to the Hometown Hot Rider podcast. OG style. Hey, if truck meat's gotta be fucking a little bit organized, then this motherfucker here is gonna turn into a full-on cluster fuckery. So since it's an OG, there has to be a whole lot of hell yeah. Right. Right? Right. Right, hell yeah. Right, hell yeah.
unknownOh, fuck.
SPEAKER_03I forgot about the right. Hell yeah. Fucked everything else. Now I got a fucking uh complex about what I say for the opening of the show. Yeah, fuck it. But like the first like 120 fucking episodes, like I sounded like fucking beavit or both. Nope. Nope. That's not it. Nope. That's not it either. Woo, Edward. Woo! Oh so speaking of, how was that? Truck me? Yeah. Truck me was great. Dude, truck me was great. Uh what time did you guys record? Wait, why, why'd you gotta put her on FPT female people time? Yeah. I don't know, it was sometime on Sunday. Sometimes between when the sun came up and sun went down. But in Val's defense, yes. Apparently I need to be more deliberate with my answers. Okay. When I had said whenever is good with me, or early is good with me, or when I said, I'm here, so just whenever I needed to have said, I'm here, so come on. Oh whenever was she she literally took it like yeah, she like a dude. Like you were well, that you were just up here anyway, so whenever come on over. Yeah, yeah. She's fixed, she's we listened to that motherfucker. Like I'm just sitting out in the shop listening to fucking radio. You know, just come on over. I'm here, so just come on whenever. No, whenever. He's got his fucking rocking chair on. What that had meant was if you were waiting on me, you could go ahead and leave. Yeah. Whatever. I had plenty to do. Yeah. I had a lot of shit to get done. And I did, I got some stuff accomplished. No, that's good. That's good. Did you get a nap? I did a little nap. So my ass fucking fell asleep. Yeah. On Sunday. Yeah. At like fucking, I want to say it was like 12 30, maybe. Okay. Yeah, 5 15 rolls around. That night or the next morning. That night. I open my eyes. Okay. Kelly's like, are you gonna go back to sleep? I'm like, I'm tired as a motherfucker. At 9 30, right back to sleep. What happened, Bonsay? No, no, no, no. Oh no, I I was just looking at my um order to see where my stuff was. Where my stuff. Tyson's Coke. And my Fabrice plugins. Yeah. And my Swiffer wet jet fluid. Oh, yeah, that's right. What an order. Yeah. It was it was for you, Tyson. Thanks. Yeah. Well, I like you wouldn't have you wouldn't have bought all that other stuff if it wasn't for Tyson. I 100% got on there to buy Fabrice plug-ins. And then I was like, oh yeah, Tyson needs a Coke. You could have totally made this like Tyson's fault. I ain't gonna do that. Tyson worked his ass off this week. Oh, I know he is. Yeah. If you show value, I mean I worked for corporate shops. And I don't mean to I don't mean to jinx nothing or put no kind of you know voodoo hex on nothing. Two days in a row, Tyson's pulled in the parking lot at 7.59. What? Yeah. Two days in a row. Bro. 759. 759. Both days. Bro. Two days in a row. The the wild part is this morning, I left the house exceptionally early. Um, and I rolled by here at like 629. And I was like, the fuck's truck, why is Ethan's truck at the shop? Already here. I went to the store, got me something to drink, got me one of them nasty ass sausage biscuits at the gas station, and came back and Ethan back there working. I just stood there and stared, and he kept working, and he kept working, and he turned around and looked at me. Didn't scare him that I was here. No. He just nodded his head. I was like, How long have you been here? He's like, six o'clock. I was like, uh. And I came here and looked, that little bastard clocked in at 6.16. Damn it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_03And got a lot done. Yeah. Got a lot done. Yep. He was cleaning a damn shop when I got here. Fuck yeah. I was like, maybe you should not have a key. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. He went to lunch today. I was like, he wouldn't leave. I kept telling him, hey, dude, go to lunch. I will, I will. Go go to lunch. I will. I was like, you know that when you finally do stop and go to, you know, you're funny. When you stop, you're gonna fucking just fall over. He goes, nah, I'm good. Hey, he called me on his lunch. He called me, he goes, hey, I'm gonna be a little bit late. I just woke up. I was like, right on. No. No sweat, man. But um, yeah, no, truck me went great. Hell yeah. Uh Val did very well. Um It's gonna it's gonna take some getting used to. Yeah. It's not us. I mean, it's not, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think it I think it went good. The show sounded good. I listened. Have y'all listened to it at all? Uh I started listening to it and then I got interrupted at work. Oh. Tyson? No. You can say no.
SPEAKER_02No, I didn't. Okay, it's okay. Whatever. It came up on my phone and I was like, oh, I'm gonna listen to that, and then I didn't.
SPEAKER_03I'm not really, but I I should listen to that. I ain't gonna. I should also change the oil in my truck. Why ain't gonna. Dewey has got diesel oil in it right now. Okay. The other day it had no oil in it. Oh, okay. But it that was a pretty stick. It was shiny. Shiny as a motherfucker. Dude, not even dirty. Yeah. Nothing. No residue. Nothing, huh? Mm-hmm. Not even a splash. Mm-mm. Oh, that's awesome. I started grabbing everything we had in the garage at home. Cool. There's like there's like Rotella T 6. There's uh Napa oil conventional. There was all kinds. It's gonna burn it anyway, don't matter. It's a fucking big block, it's fine. Oh it's all good. It would probably love that fucking diesel. Well, in the winter time. Yeah, it did fine. Yeah, I'm sure. Whatever. Yeah. It doesn't matter. It's oil. Yeah. No, that's the first thing my my ex-father-in-law used to do. He he used to go get like uh Chevy Express vans that have the LQ9 in it. Yeah. And he would literally buy it, drive it straight to his his mechanic, and he'd go, I just bought it, changed the oil. Okay. And fucking that's exactly what he'd do. He'd change it to Rotella. Yep. That old man would get four fifty, five hundred thousand miles out of his vans. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Damn. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But it also took him like 45 minutes to get up to 35 miles an hour. So, I mean, whatever. Not a whole lot of wear and tear on it. It's not like he was fucking in a hurry. Right. Um, we're gonna try the the 2050 trick and the F-150, this next oil change. Yeah. Yeah. James Martin swears he's done it since day one in his truck. And you can't hear no cam phasers in his truck.
SPEAKER_00Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03Our truck. I had a 305 that had 2050 in it. R truck sounds like a fucking 4BT in there. So we'll see. Yeah. Um what do we got going on? Um yeah, it was somebody here? I saw a reflection. Man. Jimmy, you remember back in the day, the desk gongs? Yeah. That's what these fucking chairs are. What? The chairs. They're my new desk gong. Yeah. They're driving me fucking insane. They really are. Uh at some point, by the way, listeners, we're going to be hitting pause so that I can get my order. We might just ask the driver if they'd like to get in. Yeah. You want to jump on? You want to jump on the podcast? Yeah. You you want to record? Like a bunch of people or you can. And as soon as they say no, I should turn around like Big Mama. Well then get the fuck out! Don't mind him. All of a sudden they're like, Can you speak up? I can't hear you. Put the headphones on. Put the headphones on, dumbass. Don't be stupid. Yeah. You have to turn your head and yell like that. What all do we got that we can talk about? Like, what's happened? Has anything happened?
SPEAKER_02A lot.
SPEAKER_03Did we do anything last weekend? No car stuff. Oh, my family was out of town. Yeah. So we did uh the 4th of July celebration at Bud Thornton's house. Yep. Damn.
SPEAKER_02It was good.
SPEAKER_03Damn. Yep. Yeah, I saw your guys' video. I literally sat in my driveway and watched the Josephine. Several hundreds of people. Yep. The bands were good. Yep. We had uh we took Dewey, we took the bird, we took Les's truck, one of Les buddies. Yep. And then his truck or his buddy? His buddy's truck. Okay. And then Bonsai Cruisers fucking came in for us. Nice. Mike was there, Charles Cofer was there. Corey was there. Corey's daughter's friend?
SPEAKER_01Question mark?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Acquaintance? Sure. Cool ass little GTI.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03My phone vibrated in my nutsack. Bonsai. Brandon is one of the top ranked shoppers in your area. They'll check in with you if something needs a quick look. I hope Brandon sends me a picture of his balls.
SPEAKER_01Probably not.
SPEAKER_03Doot doot doot doot doot. Oh shit. Um Kelly King. Okay. Just text me and said, Let me know when you get the rest of the tubing for the T chassis. August will be here before you know it. I'm planning on spending a weekend dedicated to getting it mocked up and ready to weld. Gonna be fun.
SPEAKER_02Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_03Hell yeah. Yizzle. Nice. That's awesome. I will answer him momentarily. Oh yeah. Um yeah, the celebration was great. Fireworks were, oh my god. Yeah. Until Well, yeah, there was one that had failed. Yeah. Yeah? Yeah, that little Chinese kid was tired.
SPEAKER_02Ground level.
SPEAKER_03Ground level. Yeah. Six, eight feet. It exploded out of the tube. I have a picture where the middle of the tube is had is exploded. Nice. Like that far up. Yeah. Boom. Nice. Yeah, there's no way. Good thing it didn't all. Well, it no, I didn't. But it took like all of a sudden there was no activity for like ten minutes. So we're climbing up the back of the truck trying to look over there, make sure everybody's alive. You know what I'm saying? Um and it and all of a sudden they started going off again. But Oh, yeah. It's good. Yeah. Yeah. It stuck. Kabooing. Um, but here's a picture of the some of the like oh it was it was intense.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And dude. And it was like right there, too. The percussion that you feel off of those fucking things because you're so close. Dude, I mean the whole ground kaboom. Oh yeah. And like it echoed for it was like each one of them echoed for 15 seconds. Yeah. Across the fucking woods and shit. It was cool.
SPEAKER_02The last one was echoing while the next one was going off. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It was wild. Um but it's a good time, dude. We moved all of our chairs. We set the canopy up and hung out like in the main area where all the festivity festivities were. Yeah. Uh we ate a lot of food. Yep. Or I did. I ate twice. I didn't. I did. I ate four tacos twice. Anyway. Four tacos twice. Wow. So it's a lot of tacos. I ate pastor and a lote once. Okay. And then I went back because Chase said the um barbecole was really good. Oh, so you had to try it. I had to get it. Four of them. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I mean, it was like four hours apart. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's good. Yeah, I I waited. I mean, you know. Poured a potty poop.
SPEAKER_02It was like dinner and then like second dinner.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Okay. And then we noticed um we took all our chairs over to the house. It's like dinner and a good snack. Yeah. So then we we took our chairs and shit over to where the cars were where we had where he we had parked the car show um so that we'd be by rides and we'd have a better vantage point to see the fireworks. Well, Corey had noticed that Charles had a tire that was less than healthy.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03Metal showing on the inside of the tire. Okay. And I was like, man, it'd be fine.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03You think I'm gonna make it home? I'm like, was the steering wheel shaking on the way here? He goes, no. I was like, you're good. You're good. You're good. And he's like, all right, cool. Well, we all left. He blew it.
SPEAKER_02Two minutes after he left.
SPEAKER_03Maybe three to five.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03It was probably three or four minutes. It was like, what?
SPEAKER_02Because where he was. Three or four miles down the road?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. He had called. It did not make it. Brian, you had lied to me.
SPEAKER_02Luckily, he went towards 276, not towards 30.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. So we all pulled into a driveway of an undisclosed trailer manufacturing company on highway 36. Okay. Um that you know of. Yes. Yeah. You know them by the way. Yes. So anyway, we had pulled in their driveway and the whole car club pulled in the driveway. Nice. And we changed his tire.
SPEAKER_02Not me. I went, shut up. Kept going.
SPEAKER_03But I had called Tyson and was like, hey, his other front tire is just as bad as the one that had just blowed out. So what's this on? Ranger slammed on the ground. Oh. The gold one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. I it already clicked. Yeah. So um I was like, we're gonna come to the shop and swap the front and back on that side so that at least it's right. Um do you mind getting impact and shit ready? You know what I'm saying? Right. So we came to the shop at 10 30, I guess, yeah, roughly, and changed his tires. Moved them around. But he made it home. Oh, all was well that ended well. Good. Yeah, he made it home. Oh yeah. Uh and then the next day on his 18-wheeler, his uh trailer blew a tire that oddly enough was full of tires that he was delivering to Houston. So so there was that. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_02Pull over and change it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, probably the best part is is when you open up the back and you go, not the right sizes. Yeah, these are all car tires. Yeah, these are all car tires. Well, fuck me, I guess. We call this road size. Yeah. So no, I went good. Um Brooke and the kids were going to Galveston all weekend. Yeah. I didn't do shit other than other than that. Yeah. Sunday. Oh, I was up here all day. Yeah. I had got here early. Yeah. Yeah. Found some music for Truck Me. Um I tried to- Oh yeah, I talked to you before my first snap of the day. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I tried to I tried to upload some new sound effects. Yeah. There's something weird going on between Epidemic Sound and the pod machine. Okay. I don't know. You know, remember that the gong? How it was like, oh you remember? It did the same thing with the crowd clapping. There's some reason that it doesn't like the wave files coming out of epidemic sound anymore. So I'm gonna try it as an MP3 next time and see if it works better. Yeah. Because BuzzProut will take MP3s now. Oh, that's good. It's a lot smaller. A lot smaller file than a wave file. Maybe you should download all the really slow ones. That's what I'm talking about. Or the like really slow collapse. Oh, I I thought I thought you'd be like, can't see me. That's exactly what I was thinking. Don't be down on yourself. Can't see me. Um what else? That was it. I mean, yeah, dude. It's been it's been uh a nice one. Like you took your little everybody's fucking gone. Yeah. Like little deal. Like I'm just gonna go to work and that's all I'm gonna do. And I kind of just did the same. Yeah. Yeah. I I I enjoyed myself. Tyson went to the drag strip Friday night. Did he? He had got drunk.
SPEAKER_02I did. Not as drunk as other people though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. There was a certain other little skinny person that got real drunk. Really? Yeah. Bad. Nice. Nice. That would have been fun. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Slept for three hours.
SPEAKER_03That was fun. He came home, he said, What time are y'all leaving? I said, uh that three or four, I think that's what I said. Yeah. He said, Cool, I'm going to sleep. Yep. Oh, I did on Saturday morning. I did get up in the morning and go to Carson Coffee and Coffee. I forgot about that. I thought you did some. Yeah, Kaufman. Yep, I did. Uh so what had happened was they came full of well, hold on. That's a double-edged sword. Okay. Um what had happened was they came Friday and did our roof while I was at work with Bandit. Oh yeah, there was some shit that happened. Yeah. With Bandit for a little over half the day. Yeah. He was fine. Was he? Yeah. I he wouldn't piss all day. Every time I tried to go outside, he wouldn't piss because I had him on a leash. Damn sure we're gonna take him off the leash because that mother's gonna be gone. Yep. And he too black to catch. Yeah. So So like like no mowers came around or No.
SPEAKER_01Wow.
SPEAKER_03No. That's that's good. Oh it's a good day. But um for bandit. So then that was all good and dandy. Yeah. Well, that night, since Brooke and the kids were gone. No, this is Thursday night. Yeah. On Thursday night, since Brooke and the Kids were gone, I'm like, man, we need some shit from Summit. This was during the day. I was like, I guess I'm fixing to go to Summit and fuck off for the rest of the day. So I was like, you know what? Nobody's home. I'm just gonna go ahead and go. After work. That would give me something to do. I got home at 10 o'clock. Yeah. It was fucking awful. Yeah, that was dumb. I yeah, traffic was stupid. Traffic was bad. Yeah, you could avoid it.
SPEAKER_02At least you had air conditioning.
SPEAKER_03Thankfully I took the F-150 because my homies here was like, man, I'll drive one of the other cars home. Thanks, bruh. Yeah, that's good. Um it was not so much the air conditioning, it's the overheating bar. Yeah. Traffic. Oh, yeah, yeah. They're both big blocks and they both hate traffic. Yep. Good thing is when you're in traffic, you can stay in all those low gears. Yeah. Yeah. But um did that, and then so nobody had said anything about anything else going on at the house. Right. Well, Saturday morning at 6.20. Oh yeah. The fucking dogs erupt. Yeah. Scared of dogs. I fucking jump up, scared shitless fucking.
SPEAKER_02Weren't you on the toilet?
SPEAKER_03No. Not yet. Oh, okay. Wait. Yes. Yeah. Yes, I was. So I they they scared me. And I got up. I was like, well, fuck, I guess I'm up. And I was like, well, my body thinks it's time to shit, so I'm gonna go shit. Yeah. Well, while I'm shitting, I didn't know anything. I just knew the dogs were barking. I didn't I didn't know I didn't know nothing. So something startles him. The dogs are fucking going ape shit. And he's like, But the dogs do that. Yeah. Like they just bark right. All of a sudden they'll hear somebody shut a car door. And all of a sudden he's like, I should go take a shit. Well, it's my morning time. How did they get him? Well, they just shot in the fucking shitter closet. Why? Well, it'd be fucking they broke in, shattered glass, all that. My body knows that if I'm up by six o'clock, I gotta shit. That'd be every day. You woke him up and he had to go take a shit. So I well, I'm like, fuck it. I'm just gonna go ahead and get up. I'm up. Yeah. So I turned the shower on, hop in the shitter, right? And all of a sudden, Brooke texts me. She said, uh, she's in Galveston.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03She's like, I didn't know they were coming. I was like, who? She's like, they're there doing gutters. Where are you? I was like, I'm on the toilet. She's like, Well, the dogs are out. I went, they're gonna stay out until I'm done shitting. Yeah. Like, I don't know what to tell them either. Yeah, do the front first. Well, it's the side.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_03And it's the whole side of the house. So You're like, tell them to come in here and dig this motherfucker out then. So I was like, well, they're gonna have to wait. Yeah. I don't know what to tell them. So I finish up, yeah, polish things off, and I go out and I scream at the fucking dogs or whatever and get them in the house and stuff. And I told her, I was like, I'm not taking this fucking dog with me all day and I'm not sitting here all day. Because while I was shitting, Corey and Brian Denton were messaging in the bonsai group that they were going to Cars and Coffee Kaufman. And I was like, Man, I think I could probably go to that without it feeling like work. Right. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. It's a 45-minute drive in Dewey. I filled it up with gas last night. It doesn't need to be there that long. No. The gas don't need to be in that tank that long. No. So I go to I'll go to Kaufman. So I told her, I was like, I'm not staying here all fucking day. I've got shit to do. Yeah. I was like, so I'm leaving Bandit out. Yeah. Not out, but like in the house. Yeah, yeah. I was like, I'm shutting the back door and leaving him, and hopefully he's good. You know what I mean? I hope so. Because for my long ass day on Thursday, when I got home at ten thirty or whatever, ten forty five, whatever time it was, uh, Bandit had been locked in Spencer's room since ten thirty in the morning. Damn. Because they left for Galveston. Oh yeah. But nothing. No pits, no shit, didn't chew nothing up, didn't hurt nothing. Good. But he was by God ready to come out when I got home. Oh, I'm sure. Um, he almost broke the back door. Yeah. He was fucking on back both back legs holding his shit. Yeah. Can you imagine him running by it? So she's like, okay, whatever. She's like, whatever. You see it. Just clean it up if they make a mess. I'm like, pfft, maybe. I just shut the fucking door. Should have told me they were coming.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, I opened the door. Well, do we're parked in the driveway? And I open the door before I get in the shower, and those dudes have got their little gutter maker thing out strung across the fucking driveway out in the street and shit. I'm like, hey man, uh y'all that were y'all, y'all, y'all making them right there, huh? And they're like, yes, yes, yes. I was like, hmm. Well, you're gonna have to move that shit when I get done because I gotta go somewhere. I was like, nobody told me y'all were coming, so you're gonna you're gonna have to move that shit. Your shit out of luck. Okay. Like they looked all disappointed because they had everything set up. I'm like, I'm backing the fuck out in a minute. Did he say okay? Kind of. Okay. Yeah. Just making sure. Yeah. And uh so bandit was not happy. Nah. No. But also I was not happy because nobody said they was coming. So the truth. Neither did they. So I had got fucked with at six something in the morning on a Saturday. Fuck yeah. I didn't have nowhere I had to go, but it worked out really well. Well, you got double disturbed. Correct. Like you got woke up? Yeah. Yeah. I got woke up and then. Woo! Where the fuck were we? I don't remember. It smells good in here now. I smell it now. Yeah. Dude, is that what the sky smells like? I guess so. Dude, next time I'm on a plane, I'm opening the door. It only smells like the sky. The sky only smells like that if you're riding a bed sheet. Because it's linen and sky. I can show you the world. Is it like Aladdin? Like that kind of bed sheet. Look at the sky. A whole new world. Don't you dare close your eyes. A whole new Bob. I should put that. Don't you dare close your eyes. That should be the episode. Linen and Sky. Don't you dare close your eyes. And we're writing a song. What?
unknownAnyway.
SPEAKER_03I don't remember what we're talking about, but um Cars and Coffee. Yeah. That was badass. It was it was because I was like, I can go there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know? Um, as I'm pulling in the parking lot of the church that it's at, I hear somebody go, hey, there's Dewey. Fuck.
SPEAKER_00And I'm like, I'm proud of you for finally figuring out what buttons was.
SPEAKER_03Thanks. Um I was like, oh, guess they know who's here. So I was like, well, we'll see. Um and yeah, uh, I don't know, four or five people came up to me, but nice not overbearingly. Does that make sense?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yep. So um hung out with Corey and Brian. We had a good time. It was fun. I really enjoyed myself. Like it was so when you said, is it cool as ours? Is big? Absolutely not. There's probably 25, 30 cars. Right. It's Kaufman. But for one, there was five or six rad ass fucking traditional hot rods. Yeah. Nice. Like Model H shit. I mean, some cool shit. Um, and a lot of them had like two, two or three of them had small black Mopars in them. Really? Wow. So I was like, oh, that's really odd. We got a small black Mopar. Yeah. That was kind of one to put into a tea bucket. But um there was five or six square bodies. Wow. Wow. Yeah. And and I told Corey and them was like, not working. I'm not working. And the Corey's like, mm-hmm. I was like, no, I'm not. I'm not working. Yeah. I took a couple pictures of cars, walked around with them, we talked and bullshitted. And then this dude had pulled up in a really badass square body. It's like Nardo Gray.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_03Um, it was fucking dope. Fuck. And they were like, You're finna work. I was like, no, I'm not, but I ain't going to look at it. Nope. And we're looking at it, looking at it, checking it out. Talked to the guy, and I'm like, man, this thing needs to be on the square body boogie. Yep. And Corey goes, Told you. Yep. Roped in. I was like, well, you know. So I talked to them for a few minutes and it was funny. The point of the story was he was like, hold on, let me grab my wife so she can put all this in Facebook and stuff. I was like, Yeah, I have to do that shit too, because I forget. Yeah. And uh he's like, hey, put all this, blah, blah, blah, look them up, square body boogie. And she looked up and she goes, You're the guy from Hometown Hot Rider doing the square body boogie. I was like, Yes, ma'am. I'm already following. I was like, oh, well, thanks. Yeah. He goes, You follow him? Are you interested or are you going? And she she put interested. Yeah, she was interested. So um, so yeah, she was like, I already follow him. So you're not going? Right. Yeah. Okay. Like the boogie or interested in maybe going. I was like, you're already following the boogie or hometown hot rodder? And she goes, both. So shout out, ma'am. I don't remember her name. Ma'am. Thank you, ma'am.
SPEAKER_02If you sign up now, he'll know your name. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I I only don't know your name because I don't look at the interested side. Yep.
SPEAKER_02You could be lucky, number 28.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you could be. Um, did we got people from Houston coming? What? Yeah. What? I don't know. I mean, it's probably better square body boogey. Better better weather.
SPEAKER_02People from Wolf City?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02What?
SPEAKER_03All the way? Yeah. We got people coming for Earware. Error. Errorware. Um, but that was the only work that I did. And then people started leaving a little early. So I was like, hmm. It's not quite 11. Whataburger is like six blocks from here. It's taquito time. Hell yeah. And so they all we all went. We all went to Whataburger. Yeah. Ate some breakfast. It was cool, man. I had a good time. Hell yeah. And I'd rolled back to the house, took a two and a half hour nap, got up. And when I got up, Les had sent me a text that said uh that they weren't letting people in until four now. It starts at five. No, letting people in at five. Yeah. Right? And I'm like, I eat. So I get in the bonsai group. I'm like, hey, uh, you don't have to be in my house at three. Do four so we can be out the door by 4:30. Be there around five-ish. We don't have to be on time. Right. You know what I'm saying? Be there as close as we can. Well, 3.04. Mike texts me. Mike Ross texts me. He's like, I'm here. I'm like, rock and roll, come on in. And I was sitting there watching TV. And he's like, what are you doing? Like, watch TV. What are you doing? Don't tell me you didn't hit send. No, I did. Oh. He was like, I thought we were supposed to be here at three so we could roll out. I said, You didn't get the message? He goes, What message? Oh man. You didn't message. I said, look in the look in the group. And he looked and he goes, Oh shit, four o'clock, huh? I was like, it's all good, man. We'll just hang out and watch TV. He's like, all right, cool. So we so we did. Take a seat. Yeah, we watched TV. Kicked it. Me and him and Twila. We were just watching TV. Yeah. Um, then Tyson showed up. I had said four. Tyson showed up at 420 something. Which was perfect. I ain't bitching. I gotta figure out a really funny joke. But Tyson had to come to the shop.
SPEAKER_02Get the Thunderbird.
SPEAKER_03I got to thinking about that. We should have just met you here.
SPEAKER_02That's I thought the same thing. Yeah. I didn't say anything.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, why didn't you say something?
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_03You should say something. Because I probably wouldn't. That's probably a good idea. That's a really good idea. Because we're gonna go right by the shop in just a minute. You did get to the cruise of the Thunderbird. Um I have been daily driving the Thunderbird.
SPEAKER_02Any complaints yet?
SPEAKER_03From me? I mean, it's kind of exhausting to power steering link. I mean other than that, no. Um that car is really nice to drive. That's a very good driving car. Very comfortable ride.
SPEAKER_02Um I have to slouch in it, like scoop my butt down.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's my head. It's tight. Yeah. It's tight. People were little back then.
SPEAKER_02Chairs and driving nuts.
SPEAKER_03People were little back then. Yeah. Um so we went to the gas station because Mike needed gas. Yep. Um we got lost along the way. You're never gonna tell Dewey no to a gas pump. No, fuck no. Uh either one of that bitch's hips. The Thunderbird, I was like, Tyson, I don't know if it needs gas or not. I've been driving it a lot. We should probably see. So we take we go to the gas station. Correct. Can't pay at the pump, we tap to pay at that gas station. What the fuck? So I'd go inside. Yeah. As soon as we open the door, that dude from Aladdin's there.
SPEAKER_02Brian says, fuck me. And I'm like, what? Like, oh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I did. I was like, oh fuck. The guy from Aladdin that we were just singing about.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03He was at the store.
SPEAKER_02He was at the gas station.
SPEAKER_03Talking to some Jamaican ladies.
SPEAKER_02Oh, down here at X one.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Hell yeah. White dude. Yeah. Long, curly, gray hair, glasses. Uh, literally Aladdin parachute style pants. Yep. No shoes. No shoes. And a turban.
SPEAKER_02And no shirt.
SPEAKER_03And a big rag on his head. And no shirt.
SPEAKER_02Maybe it's the rag.
SPEAKER_03Like for real, for real. I'm dead serious.
SPEAKER_02Dead serious.
SPEAKER_03White guy dressed as an A-Rab. No, he was dressed as a genie. Oh, that's what I meant. There's a difference. No, whatever. Listen, I'm gonna say A-rab because I ain't rubbing nothing on that man. So he's talking, so we pay real quick. I told Tyson, let's get the fuck out of here. Yeah. Go pay for the gas. Now let's go pump gas now. We gotta go. Well, we got our shit done before he had showed up. But Mike and Twilight weren't done yet.
SPEAKER_02Mike and Twilight are just now walking into the store. Fuck.
SPEAKER_03What were their wishes? Well, so hold on. So I don't know why, but for some reason that dude really rubbed me wrong when I saw him. I don't know why. He rubbed your lamp hard, didn't he? I think so. Like I didn't get my motherfucking wish. Right? Like he rubbed my lamp. Yeah, he rubbed my lamp and it didn't work. And I realized that's not how that's supposed to happen. But then you gotta polish that a little harder. We pumped the gas in the bird. It's too goddamn hot to get in the bird or in Dewey. Right. Right? So we're just leaning on the fenders. Yeah. On the fender of the bird. Sitting there talking, just shooting the shit. Yep. Here he comes. Fucking shit. Walking his car, Pittsburgh.
SPEAKER_02He walks out to his car, looks over, and just turns.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, heading straight for us. I said, motherfucker. And he stands there and he's staring at the car, but he doesn't say anything. Oh, I don't do it. Side to side, staring at it. And he does this. I can't, I can't tell. I'll tell you, gives this hand motion of like the motion you do when you want somebody to move out of your way. Yeah, like moving my he was moving his hand, his hand side to side. Like get off get off your car? And he goes, Can you guys move? You know me. I said, For what? And he was like, so I can see it. I was like, oh. I mean, yeah, sure. Why not?
SPEAKER_02You could just walk to the other side.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's we ain't that big, motherfucker. We don't take up the whole fender. You can get the idea what the car looks like. I have a whole lot of shit that would have fucking flown out my mouth, probably. Oh, so hold on. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Just wait.
SPEAKER_03So he goes, What is this? A 56? I was like, no, it's a 65. And he goes, You sure? I was like, I'm pretty sure. And he goes, huh. And he stares at it for shit a minute or two.
SPEAKER_02A minute, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And he goes, Well, I guess, I guess you might be right. And I went, I'm pretty sure it's my fucking car. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Power windows? I was like, yeah. And he goes, that's gotta be an upgrade. They didn't do that in 1965. I did, I said, they did that in like 1950. Cadillac, Lincoln, like power windows were not new in 65. He's like, no. I went, okay. All right, fuck me. That's because his fucking 86 fucking Toyota. No, Hyundai, what was it? He was driving a Hyundai. It was a Hyundai. It was a Hyundai. No, remember? I don't know. What was it the Hyundai XL? Remember the 80s, like the late 80s? Yep. Piece of shit.
SPEAKER_02So he was driving a Hyundai court, though.
SPEAKER_03I don't know what my problem was with this dude. He was dressed as a fucking genie and he told you to move from your own fucking car. Well, you know that normally me, I'm like a I'm the public guy. Oh yeah, but motherfucker, you tell me to move? Like I'm real nice to people all the time. You know what I mean? In public. Well, he just kept talking and kept talking and kept talking. I went, Alright, bro, we gotta go. And he kept talking and he kept talking, he kept talking. I said, Tyson, get in a fucking car, we gotta go. Um and Mike and them weren't done yet, and I didn't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so we were in the car out at the end of the driveway waiting for him. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, then then he stopped and talked to them because Mike's car steering wheels on the wrong side of the car. Yep.
SPEAKER_02So the five minute gas stop turned into 30 minutes.
SPEAKER_03Holy fuck. Wow. I was getting more and more irritable by the moment. Yep. Um so finally we What time day was this? Four o'clock, four o'clock, five o'clock. Yeah. Um but yeah, any hoot. Um that was interesting. I have a topic. You do? I do. For uh what car shows.
SPEAKER_01Uh-oh.
SPEAKER_03I don't mean what part. Okay. I am I I'm not ready to announce this yet because I'm waiting to find out if a proposal of mine is going to be accepted or not. Getting married again's illegal. Um let's just I mean to the same person. Let's just say that I'm in the works of trying to secure a property that we would be able to hold some car shows at.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03How's that?
SPEAKER_02That's right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And it and it would serve people also.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Same? A spot for a car show.
SPEAKER_03Well, they'd have a car show and and and it would serve them. Same. Same? Yeah. Well, yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. I gotcha. Yeah. I'm trying to fucking click on this topic. Yeah. Well, I want to have car shows and car events at this place to would be cool. Yeah. Something to eat. Yeah. If you're the drinking kind of person, something to drink. Maybe. You know? Uh people with guitars and shit could be there. Yeah, that'd be cool. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. But also a very cool property that with a bunch of trees and you know. Not all of them though. All the ones that are there currently. Really? I wouldn't change, I wouldn't get rid of a single one. Because now I know where the property lines are. Yeah, but why are they marked? It is the big there's the they cleared out a lot. So those were all the X's were don't cut this one down. Oh, okay. So that makes a whole lot of sense. Let's fuck it up by marking it and go, don't don't cut this one down. It'll grow through it. Oh yeah? It'll grow through. Yeah, the paint will go away. Not a big deal. Yeah, charge names into it. Um anyhow. Yeah. In a big heart. Talking to a few people about my plans and ideas. Right. And uh so I start asking these questions. So I ask a local show promoter. I say local. He does some shows locally. Uh he is not local, but he does do some shows locally. Right. So yeah. Um yeah. I heard that in my headphones. That's gonna stink. I mean, that gave me heartburn. Yeah. Mm-mm. That was a fellow. Tyson, I fucked X1 up while ago. No, I'm just smoke because I swear it's like a filter. It doesn't sound like Febreze no more. Anyhow. Um you put that thing on an extension cord? Put it in the middle of the fucking cordless uh wireless charger. Fuck yeah. Um power bank. So I talked to this local guy and I ask him, I'm like, hey, when you do a car show at a venue, let's say, I don't know, Forge Garage. Right? How much do you have to pay them to have the car show there? Right? He goes, I don't have to pay them anything. I'm like, oh, okay, cool. So you just work out a deal with them on the gate or whatever. I don't I just have my car show keep the money. I was like, right on. Okay, but I guess it works because you're bringing in customers. Yeah, that's the only trade. Yeah. Well, kind of. So hear me out. So then I have found out that there are other local car show promoters that charge said venues five hundred to a thousand dollars. To do their shows on their property? Correct. Kiss my dick. So this is like when we had the racetrack, and race promoters wanted to charge me them to have a race at my track that they were gonna get the money off of.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Let me pay the rent, let me pay the insurance, let me pay the staff, let me supply everything. You come get all the money. I gotta give you half the money or whatever the dollar amount is, and and and then you your racers want to win a hundred percent of the pot. Yeah. So there's no profit at all. None. Like I'm negative. Okay, so now you're saying that if let's just say we owned an an eating establishment that had parking, pay the rent, pay the insurance. Because if somebody trips over a rock outside, they're not suing the car show promoter, they're gonna sue the business that they think has money. Yep. Right, whose property it is. I'm so I'm sorry. Hold on. Yeah, hold on. Pay the staff, um, overhead, all that stuff, and then pay you to have a car show. That's fucking stupid. Well, we're gonna bring you more than that in customers. All right, understood. So you're gonna have people at the perimeter of the business making sure that everybody that pulls through that gate or that driveway eats at my place. No. They don't walk next door to the Mexican food joint like I do when I go to the show at Ford's Garage. Or DoorDash fucking burritos. Or DoorDash Door's so good. Yeah. Or or DoorDash or whatever. Like, I don't eat at Ford's Garage because I don't really, I'm not a burger guy. Right. And everything on Ford's Garage menu is huge. All their food is big. Oh wow. Right? And I just don't, it's it's not my favorite place to eat. I got burned out on it real fast. Oh, okay. I don't never get burned out on Mexican food, and there's a Chewy's next door. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So I'm going to Chewy's.
SPEAKER_02100%.
SPEAKER_03I get a hamburger in Rockwall, but I cannot get a chicken chicka boom boom. So got me? Yeah. Yeah. Chick chew boo-boom. What it calls chicka chicka boo-boom. It's cool. It's fucking amazing. It's basically just green enchiladas. It sounds amazing. It is. It's really fucking good. I kind of want to go. The only thing about chewies is their salsa is always like really hard to eat. Yeah. Their what? It breaks the chips. Their salsa breaks the chips.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I like their um jalapeno ranch. Yeah, jalapeno ranch.
SPEAKER_03Cases good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But their salsa, it tastes great because it's really fresh, but it's so compact, like out of the blender, that it breaks your chip when you're trying to dip it. Because it's like peak, it's more like a pico. Yeah. So you gotta use like one chip to shovel it onto the other chip. Oh yeah. Oh well, see, and I don't like tomatoes, like whatsoever. Right. But I eat salsa, so I'm the like definitely it's gonna be super fine. Either super fine, or you watch me by the time I'm done with chips and salsa, it's just it's just the fucking shit. Even the peppers sometimes. Because I because I'll dip and so I'm weird about that. Regular salsa, like real Mexican restaurant salsa, like real salsa, I'll eat it as just shovel it in my mouth. Right. Like paste picante sauce, I do the same shit. I just want the sauce part of it. Yes. The vegetable, you know why I think it is though in my mind? Because all the vegetables are cubed and it looks like processed daycare food. Now what I know? It's got tomatoes in it. But yeah, I just um I I've never heard of such a fucking thing as charging the venue to have your event at their place. You're out of your fucking mind if you think you're gonna roll up here and and like if I'm a business owner and be like, so you're gonna pay me a thousand dollars to have a car show here, and it's like, hold on. So you're gonna take up all my parking with people that may or may not buy food. Regardless, regardless of that, okay, you're gonna do a car show, you're taking up all my fucking parking. But I'm okay if that's the case, if the parking lot's full and they're eating there. Right. That that's different. And and if it costs 500 bucks, I'm probably gonna make $500 back. But everybody's at Chewies. Correct. Or they're across the street at the Mexican joint or up the street at the other bar and grill. Or I door-dash fucking McDonald's down the store. Or they door-dashed.
SPEAKER_02Or whatever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_02So is Kaufman not. Never mind.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, I charging the venue to have a show. That's crazy. And keep all the entry money.
SPEAKER_01Nope.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely not. That makes the like the that doesn't even math to me. So that doesn't make fucking sense at all. I understand that it brings business to the business. I get it. But so what? I'm not I'm literally losing money. Like, and I and I've got to stop in the okay, let's just go on the lines of Of the way it is. Like fucking, you literally park fifty, seventy-five cars. Yeah. Out in front of my building, people are gonna pass my fucking establishment. I have to fucking rely on everybody in this parking lot that didn't eat before they came because they knew they didn't want to spend the money. Or or your show registration is eight to ten. Yeah. And your show's ten to two or whatever the fuck. Right. Well, that means that people coming from the other side of the Metroplex are leaving at 6. Yep. 6 30. Right. You know they're gonna stop and get fucking taquitos first. Yes. So they may or may not even want lunch. I I I just I no, if you're that doesn't that does not fucking compute in my head.
SPEAKER_02No, that doesn't side of that. It's like I'm paying you to give you a spot where you're not gonna get kicked out if you can have a car show.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02You should be paying me.
SPEAKER_03100%.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03You have a spot where you're not gonna get kicked out. This is where all of a sudden the hot rod culture doesn't seem as pure to me as it did. No. No. Because that sounds like the racing culture. Like the venues get fucked. Yep. Wow. But that's where music venues, like bars, dance halls, and shit, they are the a hundred and eighty degree opposite. Yeah. Because the venue makes all the fucking money and they pay the band shit. And then you then you have places like Kellers. Yeah, where you just come hang out. Fucking, we got burgers. Yeah. Let's go. Yeah. You know? Yeah. But isn't that a trip? It it it fucking throws me off. Like I cannot, my brain will not wrap around the fact that someone would put on a car show, make a shit ton of money, and fucking charge the the people who own this business to have a fucking car show there. Yeah. Like it's gonna fucking bring, it's not gonna bring business. You're taking business away from me. Every parking spot that you're sitting sorry, let's rephrase that. Every two parking spots that you're sitting sideways in, yeah. That's a that's a fucking custom, that's a fucking five. That's that's fans two families. Family of five. That's two families. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, like maybe it's a couple, but so so in my brain, how are you paying it, how am I paying you a thousand dollars to fucking essentially all these spaces you've taken thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars away from me. So understand this. If things go through with my idea, and if this unutilized brand name that I have, yeah, I say unutilized, I get it, unaltered, yes, as of right now, uh ends up with a venue that we can have car shows at. If you see a car show at that establishment that is being put on by another promoter, you can bet your fucking ass I didn't pay them to be there. Fuck no. Absolutely not. Nope. You'd be you'd be surprised if they're in a fucking sign that as you walk in the door said we ain't paying you shit to fucking do a car show here. Absolutely not. Like in big ass fucking bold letters. Like, I never seen a shit like that in my life.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03But I have in the racing world. Right. I d yeah. The promoters want to make all the money, the racers want a hundred percent of the pot. And what the fuck does the track get? Nothing. Spectator money for the nine people that like to come watch your no-time race? Yep. It's more than that. But still. But still, what bracket races, no, it's about 12 people. I mean.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But they're all standing on the line. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But for real, I don't it it just I never would do it then either. No. I'll split it with you, but I'm I'm not paying you. No, fuck it. I'll split the gate with you, but I'm not paying you. Yeah, yeah, I'm not paying you to be here. There was one establishment that wanted to come to the drag strip. Yeah. And they wanted I think it was five grand.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_03But they wanted me to charge them the regular gate fee and tech card fee. Okay. And they guaranteed that I would make my money back. Well, that what's that do for you?
SPEAKER_02So just come for free.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Just pay. Right.
SPEAKER_01Like, I'm no, hold on. Hold on. You're breaking. That makes it makes it even.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So nobody's getting anything. Hey, you give us five grand.
SPEAKER_03So guess who's track never did have funny cars? No, fuck no. Oh, I do. I do remember that. Sorry. Yeah. My bad. Yeah. I'm not paying you to come to my place. No. Like, I don't get it. I pay the mowing guy to come mow, but that's because he mows. What the fuck are you going to do besides use up all my shit?
SPEAKER_00Nothing.
SPEAKER_03And bitch and complain. Yeah. I don't I I can't. I can't. I I just can't. Yeah, like the guy comes and mows the lawn as a service. You putting on a car show to make a shit ton of money is not a service to my business. No. I get that you're gonna bring people with you, but I do not see it evening out. No.
SPEAKER_02I'm saying this is whatever fucking generation I am that everybody says we don't have any common sense. In what world does that make any sense?
SPEAKER_03It doesn't. It doesn't. I mean, I've used fucking both both hands and fucking all my toes to fucking count this, and it doesn't make sense.
SPEAKER_02No logical sense, no common sense, nothing. There's no upside to that except for greedy ass people wanting money.
SPEAKER_03Did you take like fucking two sips out of that fucking bottle? Uh that's been here since last week. I thought you just opened it. No, no, no, no. That's been here since last week. Um, and I'm weird about bottle water bottles. Can you taste the plastic? If it's been if it's been hot and cold, yes. Yeah, same. Uh but yeah. What about what about putting stuff in ziplocks? I'm I'm out. Like food? Like if you like say say someone rips the fucking uh bag of crackers and you put it in ziplocks, I won't eat them. You you can taste it. Well, also in my mind, that's now a leftover. Jesus fuck.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I forgot you guys don't do leftovers. I don't.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. When I live there, I'd be like, Brooke, don't throw that shit out. I'm not eating it out. Don't eat that motherfucker. I'm not. You have all of it you want, dog. No, it'd be funny though, because she's like, I'm gonna throw this out. Like, why? You know what's funny? I was like, it's been in here a week. I'm like, that shit's got like two more weeks to go. You know what's funny about that is people get offended about leftovers? Family like holiday dinners and stuff. Yeah. They're like, hey, you gotta take some food home. And now I'm cool. See, and the fuck part is, is there is so much food out there that it's better the fucking second time. 100% better than the second time. I will take fried turkey home and eat fried turkey again. But you won't reheat it, you'll just eat it cold. Yep. I heard that say look because if you put some microwave, it's a fucking leftover. Uh-huh. I will not eat cold pizza. What? Really? Absolutely not. Nope. Throw it away. I never I never noticed that. Nope. I don't have to throw it away anymore because bandit was still the shit. And when I lived there, they didn't have to throw it away because I'd eat it in the middle of the night. I will eat leftover chicken tenders.
SPEAKER_01Cold.
SPEAKER_03No. Oh, you'll heat them up? I'll heat up the chicken, but I'll leave the gravy cold. Then it's like gravy flavored ranch. But not cold. I'll put it in the microwave for a second, but I ain't gonna sit there and keep stirring it and reheating it and stirring it and reheating it because it just takes too goddamn long.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But you nuke it and you mouth the same. And that's pretty much it.
SPEAKER_03I won't I won't eat anything leftovers. I don't eat leftovers. Ain't having. That's all I do. Like I'm thinking of the probably hold on. There's three or four fucking things I can eat in the fucking refrigerator. I got fucking I got fettuccine alfredo, chicken fettuccine alfredo that we made fucking I got. I hate that shit when it's hot. No. I I hate fucking I hate fucking marinara sauce. I hate pasta. Really? I yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's just because you eat so much of it.
SPEAKER_03In my opinion, spaghetti doesn't count. I don't know why. And spaghetti's my less. Yeah, but to me it's not. But I will never eat spaghetti at a restaurant. You'll never see me eat spaghetti spaghetti at a restaurant.
SPEAKER_02Well, I've only been to like Mexican restaurants and barn grills with you so.
SPEAKER_03It depends. But I don't I don't want to take that chance. But I won't, but I won't eat uh I don't eat marinara sauce out like I will eat uh fucking spaghetti and all that stuff, but that's pretty much all I do in pasta. My I like spaghetti if it's cooked the cheap bullshit way like my mom cooks it. Yeah. Or Brooke cooks it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Uh brown some hamburger meat. Yeah. Dump in a can of ragu, stir the shit up, add a little bit of garlic, put that on top of some noodles, and eat it. I'll eat the fuck out of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Love it. It's the way it's supposed to be. But I will not eat it at restaurants. Bro. I'm hamster not grabbing it off a buffet. Bro. That's the most horrible looking thing I've ever seen in my life. Okay, and I'm gonna put her on the spot because she doesn't listen, and nor does anybody that fucking knows her listen and all that stuff. But my fucking ex-wife, 13 fucking years, you would fucking go to eat spaghetti, and there'd be baby carrots that have been diced up and round. And I go, what the fuck is this? She goes, It's baby carrots. And I'm like, why? Well, Carson had a Carson had a problem eating his vegetables and all that, so I started doing that. I'm like, yeah, Carson's also a fucking senior in high school. What the fuck are we doing? Yeah. 13 years of that. God, I did not miss them fucking baby carrots. I bet you use that chunky, so there was like little there's tomato pieces in it. And like everybody knows, like most of my friends, my family, they all know I I don't like Italian food. I don't I like pizza. Pizza. And pizza. Yeah. I mean, when it comes to that, yeah, that's it. I'm I'm a pizza dude. That's it. Um but I can eat pizza no matter what cold. I got watched in the house, fucking new old.
SPEAKER_02I'll eat like a what is it? The it's basically just a pizza fold in half.
SPEAKER_03Calzone? Yeah. Yeah. At least something like that. That counts. Yeah, that's that's pizza. Yeah. Um that's a hot pocket.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So like when the pizza, hey, when the pizza's been out too long and it's like hard cardboard and all that stuff. Yeah. It's not fucking over, bro. It's not over. I turn on the fucking faucet, I run it, I'd flip it upside down and run the bread all the way across and put it and I put it on the fucking plate. Kelly looked at me and goes, what the fuck? I go, hold on. All of a sudden he put it in there for about 30 seconds, 45 seconds, and all that. That motherfucker fluffy again. Boom. Put the moisture right back in. Oh. But you can't like you, you don't like sit there and run it. You literally run it under the faucet and shake it off and put it on the plate. Boom. Fucking fresh pizza. It's almost it's it's like bagel bites, bro. No, it's not even close to bagel bites. It is not it's totally like bagel bites, dude. Don't fuck up bagel bites. I like bagel bites. Yeah, and how squishy are they? Not at all if you cook them in the oven. Oh, fuck the oven. Oh, that's another thing, too. People always saying, Oh, if you cook them in the oven, they taste different. They don't fucking they don't taste different. The texture's different. They taste different. They have a fucking different fucking microwave. You know what? Listen, if it's got fucking microwave instructions, that's where that bitch goes.
SPEAKER_02You know what we should have done when Brooke and all of them are out of town?
SPEAKER_03What? Bagel Bot Party? No, I've should well. I do want some bagel bites.
SPEAKER_02I love bagel bites. I have not had one of your air fryer snake uh steaks.
SPEAKER_03Really? I have to do that for you. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I've never had an air fried steak. Fucking amazing.
SPEAKER_02We should do that one.
SPEAKER_03They are unbelievably good. Yeah. I have to go through the routine again and remember what all you have to do. Yeah. Now, what really fucks me up is I went from uh like a just a propane grill to a fucking blackstone. Yeah. And doing my steaks, uh now I'm having to do it differently, and I'm like, oh, this is fucking phenomenal. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Blackstone steaks are good. I like hibachi on blackstone.
SPEAKER_03That's all I like. Kelly's like, hey, can you make some? I made ramen the other day. Well, and see that's the other thing. Like, I can't stand fucking Asian food. Really? Really? I I like Chinese food cold, too. Every now and then. I'll I want to be nice. My family loves it. So I'm like, hey, uh, what's that? What's the one that's by my house?
SPEAKER_02The one that's over by Walmart?
SPEAKER_03Nah, by Whataburger. Uh Panda. Yeah. I'm like, hey. Chinese food. Y'all want panda? Y'all want panda? Right. They're like, yeah. I'm like, ugh. Okay, go ahead. And I'll eat it. And I'll hate myself for it. Really? You don't like Chinese food, huh? Oh, I love the fuck out of Chinese food.
SPEAKER_02Like, you know, eat like fresh made, like right there.
SPEAKER_03Like we like when we go to Kyoto and stuff like that. Yeah. I just get steak.
SPEAKER_02I guess steak and chicken.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean. Shrimp. I like shrimp. Shrimp. Frim. I like shrimp. Were you a fat kid? No. No? Mm-mm. The only re I know this right because I just had this whole epiphany because you guys are talking about food, like Chinese food. I love that cold. Pizza. I love that cold. So you're the fat kid. So I start going through it. Well, after the age of about, I don't know, it was probably about 11, 12 or so, I started gaining some weight. Well, like, I think that where my I can eat it cold is going to the refrigerator and just grabbing a fork and eating whatever the fucking night before. It could be ice fucking cold, or it could still be kind of warm because it was just thrown in there and all that stuff. I still do that to this day. Like Kelly looks at me and she's like, Are you eating that straight out of the fridge? And I'm like, Yeah. Like, I'll do the Alfredo. That's terrible. Oh. I don't mat it don't matter what it is. Oh, it's terrible. God damn, it's gross. And then you go to the okay, I have stomach fucking issues, but I developed that over. Because you pour water on your fucking pizza crust, sir. No, no, no, no, no. No, you know, you know, growing, you know, growing up that like fucking my whole family get fucking food poisoning. You you've got parasites. Well, then probably. Maybe that's what maybe the parasites fucking went on street. I mean, they stuck fucking scopes up both up my ass and fucking down my throat. I'm just saying. Not in that order. I'm just saying. Same scope. I asked the doctor, I said, Hey, listen, man. And he goes, What? I go, can you can you scope my throat first? Yeah, I don't want to. And he looks at me and goes, So you don't taste it? I'm like, yeah. He goes, it's two different scopes. I'm like, really?
SPEAKER_02Can you change like you're gonna go to the doctor and you get your ears checked?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, can you change the tip out before you get the channel?
SPEAKER_03That's what I no, that's that's exactly what I envisioned. I envisioned fucking the thing from flight of the navigator coming out, you know, with the fucking big ass eye, and then you put like its little fucking dome condom on it. Yeah, from which port will you be accessing the other port? Yeah. You're gonna go up my ass till it comes out my throat, or are you gonna go the other way? Right. That's my whole thing. Why don't you guys just go all the way? Aren't they connected? That's where I thought. Why wouldn't you just go? Well, I don't think it's a straight shot. Like, can you imagine all of a sudden the doctor's like, okay, and that looks good, and that looks good, and all of a sudden the other guy on the other side sees the scope, comes out, and he's like, and he's like, gotcha, and back through. Yeah. I mean, what if you missed the lights on the lights awful dim? I mean, you would think that like everybody's intestines isn't the same. Like, how would they know they were to the middle? I assume that's why they'd scope you both ways. I think they have a camera. I think it has a screen. That's how they know they're at the middle. There's not a fucking sign that says you're at the middle of this fucking six-foot fucking four guy's fucking intestines. I guess that's why they go to school. I don't know. They tag it. That's what they do. They go through and they go dink and they put a little thing. I was here, and then they go through your fucking pin drop. They just tattoo it on that way. It's a relay. It's a relay. It's a relay. Um, but yeah, we're at an hour.
SPEAKER_02Damn it.
SPEAKER_03I'm sure. We haven't talked about shit. What were we talking about?
SPEAKER_02We were just talking about shit. Yeah. Literally.
SPEAKER_03Literally. Uh brought to you by Do we want to Colagaard. There you go. This episode brought to you by Colagaard. Do it your way. Or both ways. If you're Jimmy. This episode brought to you by Cola Guard. Do it both ways. Yeah, they want me to do that shit again. Fuck you. Y'all ain't finding the first time. Well, and the doctor tells me, he's like, you know, you really should go get scoped. I'm like, listen, doctor. I go, you just you have like a deal with my company, right? And he's like, well, yeah, you guys pay me 40 bucks and we see you. I'm like, but it's like a deal. Like our code pays like 20 bucks. He goes, your guys' insurance is shit. I go, and $1,500 to go to one of these specialists is shit too. He goes, Yeah, just take these. Yeah, can I just give you 40 bucks not to stick some up my ass? And then I get a fucking bill in the mail for 150 bucks. And I'm like, what the fuck? I thought it was 40 bucks. So I tell my boss, and he's like, Nah, you don't usually charge me. I'm like, listen, bro. He's like, go talk to HR. I go talk to them. They're like, Yeah, there's been a couple of people like that. I go, listen, you're not reimbursing me. And she goes, Well, why? I go, because I ain't paying the shit. She goes, Well, we'll give you the money. And I go, that'd be a bad idea. Why don't you call him and pay it? Yeah, you give me the money. I go, because it's still gonna go on my credit, and I'm gonna have an extra 150 bucks. Yeah. Not gonna lie. Yeah, I'm not yet no, huh? Mm-mm.
unknownMm-mm. Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but $1,500 to go to specialists for my company. Yeah, I could pay somebody to have a car show at my house. Fucking hey, dude. Like one and a half times.
SPEAKER_02You'd have like four cars in front of your house.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's like guys go home.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Get the fuck out of here. I don't get it. That doesn't make sense to me. I'd rather get scoped. I feel like you kind of are getting fucked on that. You are. Yeah. You are, dude. I think so too. And then they get done, they're like, sorry, we didn't have the batteries in the camera. Yeah, exactly. We've got to start over. Yeah. We forgot to charge the battery. Yeah. Yeah, pull out. Hold on. That thing had a lens on it when it went in. Can you imagine going all the way through and then all of a sudden it shuts down? And they're like, what the fuck did you do, Larry? He's like, what? The fucking goddamn SD card sitting right there. Didn't even have it in it. You should just take an SD card and throw it on the table while they're doing it. Just go. Hey, is that y'all's? Hey, that's yours. Wait a minute. Was that supposed to be in the camera? Uh or was I supposed to eat that? You fart and flick one out. Just fart and thump it off to the side. Oh, that'd be fucking. Yeah. Or or even like a fucking, like a like a little one of those little tiny GoPro things. Dude, I totally, if I get scoped again, that's what I'm gonna so do. I'm gonna stand up and be like, oh, I think I have to fart, and then like like that, and then have to like drop a piece of like a camera or something. A full floppy disc. That's what I'm talking about. Um fucking accordion. Square body boogie. See. Sign up. Go check it out. Square body boogie on Facebook. Register. Do it. Uh link in these comments right here. What the fuck, guys? Yeah. Why are y'all not buying merch? Is there something I did wrong? Uh people think that the only colors of the shirt we have are black. That's fucking racist. We have colored too. Because they're too fucking lazy to click on it and see that there's a lot of colors. Every color is available. Almost every color they offer is available to purchase. Yeah, you racist fucks. In those designs. Um so click on the shirts and you can get any color you want just about. I've had several people go, We've only got black on there. No. I want the page to look uniform, so black is the one that I choose because that's what most people wear. Yep. But they're available in pink, green, blue, baby blue, baby pink, purple, charcoal, brown, maroon, black. Black, navy, white, sand, skin, desert. Like, no, no, no. They're available in a lot of colors. Yep. So I guess I need to change the format of the site where it shows more than one mock-up, maybe. Why? I don't know. You you can't in your head go, you know why.
SPEAKER_02Can you put a footnote on the top of the page? Like, we offer more than just black.
SPEAKER_03Hey, so where it says Oh my god. Right there where it says get the gear worn by the cast at the OKS show on the internet. I should change it to more colors available, dumbass, click them. I might do that. That's funny. I might do it. Use some initiative and click. Um I've got all kinds of colored ones. It's a hot rodder site. Most hot roders wear black. Yep. But also it's available in every color you could possibly fucking want. Isn't it funny that that hot rod shirts are all black and we we do this shit during the summer? Yep. Yeah, not this motherfucker. Not this year. No. I've canceled a lot of events. I ain't doing them. No. It's fucking hot. I ain't doing it. No. July 18th, though, we will be at Ford's garage. Oh yeah, by the way. Um for uh Hazelwood Hot Rod's all Ford show. Um Is that the one that has all Ford, yep. But is that the one that brings the square bodies, right? And the Thunderbirds on there. Yeah, the Thunderbirds on the plaque, Lester Truck's on the plaque. Yep. I saw that. The birds on the plaque. Yeah, it's taking Nova. And the It'll be there. Do we? Okay. Last year for the all Ford show, I took Penny and just didn't open the hood. Because it had a small block Chevrolet. That doesn't matter this time. I don't think I think he said it can be swapped. Yeah, it can have it can have other motors in it. He just wants the Ford cars there. So that's cool. He's walking around. He's like, shut that fucking hood. We'll have the booth set up. I'm MC in it.
SPEAKER_02I could bring the F-150 and park in the show.
SPEAKER_03You could. You could. Yeah. Sean can win again. Yeah. Bunch of cards, cards for hell damaged places. Yeah. Yeah. Fuck yeah. Hey man, it's a local show. You could I do pretty good with a 2018 pickup with a lift kit on it. It is customized. It's lifted and it's got XDs. Yeah. I'll just skate that my F-150 over there with a for sale sign. Cool. No. Okay. Fuck no. I'm not very illegal as hell. Um there's a lot going on in the shop. I just don't want to talk about it. Yeah. Fuck the shop. Nothing wrong with it. No.
SPEAKER_02Nothing wrong. Nothing wrong. A lot of good, actually.
SPEAKER_03Very productive week. Yeah. I liked how I I liked the whole vibe when I walked in. I am gonna say that uh Kevin Fuller's back. Yeah. Kevin's back and kicking ass. So uh he's doing uh uh uh good. I'm glad he's back. Yeah, me too. So uh what else?
unknownPayer bills.
SPEAKER_03Sorry, sorry, please. Apparently our um upload is faster than our download. Yeah. We're uploading way more money than we're downloading. Oh yeah. Uh uh. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um that's okay.
SPEAKER_03I'm just gonna start. I'm gonna start giving all the electric company, the internet company, the landlords, and shit. I'm just gonna give them y'all y'all's phone numbers. I'm be like, yeah, you should get paid, so you should call this guy and let him know. Yeah. Go down the list, see who's paid or yeah, you should pay this guy. So um I don't know. It's like it's it's like 4th of July weekend, and it kind of because of where it falls, yeah, it kind of I don't know. What are you doing Sunday? I don't know. Oh, I didn't know if you had anything going. Look at that. I like this. I I don't think I'm doing it. You guys working uh Friday? Yes. Hell yeah. Yes, I'm better be ready because I'm off motherfuckers. I was about to ask, um, what day are banks observing Independence Day. Uh searching the web. Falls on Saturday for most U.S. banks. The holiday is observed on Friday, July 3rd. So many bank branches will be bank branches will be closed. Some may be doing Friday and Monday. Oh, does that mean I get paid tomorrow? Maybe. I don't know. Probably not. Yeah, maybe. If if they if that company that does our payroll observes the third hit. Yeah. Yeah. Well means I can blow all my money before all this stuff comes out. We're observing it on the fourth. Yeah. I mean, we may cut out a it look, here's the thing. I'll just say it real quick, we're not talking about the shop very much, but we've got a couple of cars that have to be done this week. Yeah. I'm tired of them being here. They need to be done. It's not so that we can collect money on them, it because most of the money's been collected, but they got it, we gotta get them out. Yeah, they gotta be gone. Yep. Um so if those are done early, then we'll leave early. Yeah. But I don't want them rushed. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, no, hell no. Um because there are important cars. I'm not gonna say which cars are who they belong to, but there's there's three that they're um you know, they they need to get done. Um but it if they're not, they're not. But we'll be working a full day. You know what I'm saying? Right. It's okay if they're not. No.
SPEAKER_02So what if half of us initially?
SPEAKER_03This ain't a fucking test. Like this ain't this thing I haven't said. This thing, like, I finished my, I finished my here's my scantron, I'm leaving. Yeah. No, bitch, you gotta wait till the class is done. I was just kidding. I'm just playing. I got mine, I'm out. Look, man, we've had a lot of people sick and a lot of people and and injured, and we are behind. Yeah. We're behind. I I'm sorry, I don't know what to say. We're getting there. Every everybody that listens has been sick before.
SPEAKER_02Look, it'll be a it's been a really good week. It has. We're kicking ass and making a lot of progress. So it has.
SPEAKER_03It's been really good. Damn. Um Friday, I'm gonna come up here and fuck everything up?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_03No, because we're gonna be in here. Yeah, yeah. We might actually do some commercials and shit while you're here. It'd be really funny if I show up at 6.15 too. That's fine. We might actually do some commercials while you're here. Well, that'd be cool. Um I don't know if anybody noticed it. Uh, when you click on this to listen, uh it now says K Wiz Radio instead of Hunton Hot Rider Radio.
SPEAKER_02I didn't notice that.
SPEAKER_03I had a whole epiphany about that when I was driving here. The name of the podcast is now K Wiz Radio. Um, and then each show is an episode under K Wiz Radio. Right. Yeah, I had a whole epiphany when I was driving. Like, good thing I didn't do the whole uh Spotify little scan thing. Yeah. Because I think when you do that, it would change it from like when it went from hometown to HHR plus uh and then rotten style and all that. Yeah. I wonder if it still would work. Should. I would think so. All a different name. Oh, it was edit it. Yeah, edit the name. I still want to do that. But it is K Wiz Radio now.
SPEAKER_02You didn't do it.
SPEAKER_03What? K Wiz. There you go. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02Um said like three times, and I'm like, sorry, my bad.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like K Wiz. God damn, Casey Caseel. Yeah, right. On the K Wiz Top 40. On the K Wiz Top 40. This weekend's number one entry started out at a dining room table. At a dining room table. And it wasn't long before they found their way to K Wiz. To K Wiz. That's a new intro. Um yeah. I don't know, man. Uh I think it's gonna be good. Yeah. Yeah. Truck Me is gonna do really well. Yeah. Val did a great job. Oh, this is tonight. Yeah, truck me, she's it's gonna be good. Uh and she's got she wants to do some, she wants to have a little structure. Yeah. Um, and a little more PG and a little less NC 17. And that's cool. Yeah, you know, I get it. It was fine. I get it. I I handled it okay. I mean, I still made a couple dirty jokes. You know what I'm saying? But um I mean, what cartoon do you watch these days that they don't slip in a most of them are fucking gay and show, so I mean See? Yeah. So it's gay. Um but she had some really cool ideas, man. Like uh the rapid fire questions. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like your opinion on shit, you know, like it fucked me up because right off the fucking hit. She said, Black wheels or chrome wheels. I went. Um get them in the same neighborhood. It was all kinds of, I mean, you know, she wants to do like a marketplace find of the week. Okay. You know what I'm saying? And that's a cool idea. We could take that one onto this show too. Yeah, is it gonna look for like GTOs? Find some cool shit on marketplace. Um she had some good ideas. Hell yeah. So I think it's gonna end up being a really good show. Fuck yeah. Uh what else? I really don't know. Mm-hmm. I really don't know. We're way into the show right now. See. I know that. So, oh, on our last episode, I said, How cool would it be if we found some people to sponsor the fuel and we drive Dewey to SEMA? Yep. It's happening.
SPEAKER_01Cool.
SPEAKER_03Shout out to our very first contributor, Paul Lopez, integrated lifestyle. Nice, I knew called the very next day and was like, How much is it gonna fucking cost for you to drive that piece of shit to SEMA? I was like, Oh, we're not taking your car. That's fucking good. He's gonna call you in the morning. No, I really did say that that day. Yeah, yeah. But I was like, Man, I haven't done the math yet, but let me do the math real quick. And I looked and I was like, fuck, it's gonna be like $1,500, $16, $1,700 in gas. Um, and he goes, Well, I'm in. He was like, I would prefer it to not be all of it, so if you can find some more. So any companies out there, anybody that wants to sponsor Dewey's fuel bill. Yeah, if you guys want to help uh Paul Lopez out, that'd be great because whether or not he's paying that bill. We'll be um yeah, just give me a gas card, Paul. Yeah, oh there you go. Yeah, just give me a gas card, bro.
SPEAKER_02Can we be like 1099 contractors for a week?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. So um Oh yeah, clock energy. So yeah, we're we're gonna uh square body boogie. Yep. October 30th, 31st.
SPEAKER_02I'm not I'm gonna be sleeping all day Sunday.
SPEAKER_03So bag We're staying in Mina at the Sassafras Inn. You can't back out of that. We have to stay at the Sassafras.
SPEAKER_02He's so excited for you guys to be there.
SPEAKER_03I'm excited to be there. What time are we roughly rolling in there? Two Mina? Yeah. One or two o'clock in the afternoon for our show.
SPEAKER_02For a show.
SPEAKER_03For a show. Oh square body show. I literally was like, pull under the awning. I'm going to get a blueberry muffin. We're out this bitch. We'll sit here long enough to let the truck drip a little hole. No, no, we're putting 2050 in that pitch. Wait for somebody to come tell us to get out.
unknownGet out.
SPEAKER_03Um, and then uh we're bouncing. No, we'll get up still, we'll get up hella early Sunday morning. Drive home.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03Take a nap. Go to sleep. Yep. Repack the suitcases. Fuck. Get in a truck, head to Vegas. Sunday night? On Monday morning. Sunday night. Okay. Yeah. We'll start, we'll drive through the night. Cool. Uh in our truck, in Dewey, it would be the three of us plus Clay Dog. Nice. That's the plan. Cool. Um working on a follow vehicle for any of the guys from the shop that want to do it also. Yeah. Because they could all split the fuel up and it'd be cheaper than their airfare. Yeah. And if if we got a little bit of sponsor money left, we'll sponsor both. You know what I'm saying? We'll we'll fill them both up. But if we don't, it's for Dewey. So Right. I mean. Um thirsty bitch. Felt real. What uh no, I have not. Uh yeah. Hey, uh Rick from uh the owner of Gear Vendors, uh, call a brother back. Yeah. We I I have a great fucking idea. Uh Gear Vendors will have a booth at SEMA. I looked, thanks to Terry Payne, I can look and see what vendors are at SEMA. Nice. Um and I looked, and Gear Vendors does have a booth. Um I would love park doing in their booth. I would love to uh represent Gear Vendors by putting their name across the back of the truck and talking about them the entire way to Vegas and back and on SquareBody Boogie by them supplying one of their overdrive units for the Turbo 400. Yeah. Cause we might actually get like 13, 14 miles a gallon with that deal. Yeah. It might double the gas mileage. Damn. That'd be rad. Yeah. Yeah. So Gear Vendors Rick, holler back at me. So literally the owner, and I left you a voicemail on your fucking line. It's just an overdrive? Yeah, gear vendors overdrive. You never seen them? Huh? Goes on the back of the transmission. No shit. It's kind of like a PTO. Yeah, yeah. It's like an overdrive deal. They're amazing. Fuck yeah. And they fucking work.
SPEAKER_02You like the diesel PTO? Yeah. Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And they fucking work. I like how, like, isn't my brain wouldn't have computed if you didn't say that. Yeah. Um, you get to keep the Turbo 400 that works flawlessly in that truck. Yeah. The rear end works flawlessly in that truck. And look, if they don't do it and we don't get one, then fuck it. We're doing 60 miles an hour the whole way there. Why not?
SPEAKER_02It'll be a 22-hour trip instead of a 93 hour. I don't care. I don't care either.
SPEAKER_03I GPS'd it from my work the other day and it was like 21 and some change. So it'll be 27 or so. I don't care. It don't matter. Starts Tuesday. We leave Sunday night, we'll be alright. We leave Sunday night? Yeah. I thought you said Monday morning. Sunday night. Sunday night. Yeah, drive through the night. I I like that better. I've always I've always done that like like 2 or 3 a.m. rollout. Yeah. Yeah, I've done that before. Yeah. I think that's the way to go. Then yeah. I mean, okay if we leave at 10. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Drive through the night. Yeah, just take shirts, take shifts.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Fuck yeah. We'll figure it out. That's why we're only taking four people in a six-person truck. Yeah. So that we can sleep. Yeah. A little less homo. I won't sleep. I will. Will you? Fuck yeah. Okay. Maybe while I'm driving.
SPEAKER_02I might, I might so we need somebody that can stay awake in the front seat next to you when you're driving. So I'll reach over and slap you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah, because he'll be stubborn enough to drive a lot. It'll be the three of us and Clayton. Uh we'll do content, we'll film, we'll record, we'll do live videos, we'll make regular posts, we'll do reels. What are we filming? Whatever. Uh we'll we'll make sure that we're shouting out sponsors of of the trip. Um it's gonna be fucking awesome. Yeah, it's gonna be fun. Yeah. I was just sitting here, bro. I was just sitting here thinking how how fucking cool would it be if like for a good chunk of the trip we got the microphones, put them on. Yeah, but put the suction cup on the outside of fucking Dewey on the fucking dash where it's face facing in, not the dash, on the fucking hood. Yeah. Where it faces in, but you can hear us. That'd be cool. That would be cool. That'd be fucking rad. Yeah. We could buy another set of those cheap four-piece ones so that everybody's got a microphone. Yeah, that'd be fucking they were cheap. That'd be cool. Hell yeah. They don't sound the greatest, but they were. No, it don't fucking matter. It doesn't matter. I mean what we're doing.
SPEAKER_02We need like a you have a GoPro?
SPEAKER_03Uh yeah, I give it to Les. I'll steal it back. Um it was a knockoff. It was a but I mean It was like a Timo GoPro. Right. GoPo. GoPo. It was a GoPoo.
SPEAKER_02Go poo. But even that up on the dash somewhere. Yeah. So like we could record and then post those videos. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, just let it can it. Yeah. Do it can it. Yep. You can do one.
SPEAKER_02We maybe get another one. You could do one facing out and one facing on.
SPEAKER_03Let's just deck it out like a car show and like we'll have like three or four, you know. We need sponsors for this. Yeah. Look, man, and if y'all don't if y'all don't think that we that it does that it gets you traffic, ask Paul Lopez from integrated lifestyles. Yeah. He literally called me in the middle of Starbird and goes, okay, dude, you can stop promoting me now. Well, he wouldn't be doing this again. Right. Right. If it didn't work. Not saying it didn't get that it's gotten him business.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03But that's not our job. Right. Our job is to get him traffic. Right. Yep. Which also raises you up in the fucking Googles and all that stuff. Right.
SPEAKER_01I mean, he got a lot. He gained a lot of people. Which tells a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Which leads me to establishments should pay us a thousand dollars to fucking put on car shows. We gonna get you traffic. Oh, wait. I forgot that. Yeah. Good news is I kind of am a show promoter. Yep. Yep. So whatever. Um we're not paying you to come to a car show, sorry. Don't ask. It's a really cool venue that you're gonna be like, damn, I wish I could go there, but I wanted to charge them money and they told me to fuck off. So whatever. Um, yeah, I don't know. SPEAKER_02We're going to make the F-150 shit out of 10 or 80.
SPEAKER_03Because Dewey is probably too long for the dyno.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean, he probably's gutless. Yeah, the Thunderbird, it's not gutless. Yeah. As soon as y'all learn how to drive a green dot. Yeah. That was so funny. Take the F-150 down there. Maybe someone's just got a transmission later. All everybody kept telling me with the Thunderbird, once we got it rolling, like, hey, this thing's a fucking turd, bro. Or the brakes are stuck or something's wrong, or that it needs a transmission. I'm like, what? And I got in it to drive it, and I looked down and I'm like, oh. So I put it in the green dot, took off. Like, this motherfucker's it's a big block. It runs pretty good. Yeah. So I got back, I asked him, I was like, hey, where y'all putting a shifter? They're like, uh, Parker verse, neutral drive? And I went, oh yeah, you're taking off in second gear. Oh shit. Yeah. You want it to take off first, you gotta go to the next dot. You gotta go to the dot. You gotta put it in green dot. Yep. And when you put it in the green dot, it it runs like a it runs like a 390. Yep. It runs good. Yeah, it runs pretty good. It'll run. Um she gets a little warm. You gotta ignore those gauges.
SPEAKER_02They know it's a right. No, they're right.
SPEAKER_03But they're contrary to a lot of people's belief, uh those old cars run typically hotter than 180 degrees.
SPEAKER_01Right. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03They run hot.
SPEAKER_01I knew that.
SPEAKER_03They they run warm. Yeah. Um it it is what it is. You should see Dewey's fucking temperature gauge. 230? Uh in traffic, yeah. Like stop if I you're stopped, yeah. 230, sometimes plus. Yeah. But as soon as you start moving, it's right back down to 210. Right. It's like like these uh these cats that are on the road, all of a sudden I'll get like a call from from one of the guys. Hey man, I'm like, what's up? He's like, come in here real quick, man. You need to talk to this driver. I go, what's up? Hey man, this thing's overheating. I go, where are you? I'm in Indio. I'm like, okay, you're in the desert to start, right? I go, what's it at? And it's hovering right there at 210. I'm like, bro, if you flip over to like 2235, like 230, 235, worry about it. I said, just drive the motherfucker. Yeah. And they're like, really? I'm like, yes. Those all it is is like base basically a fucking uh Chevy Express van. Right, right, right. Like, what the fuck are you doing? Just drive the motherfucker. Right. And the Thunderbird's temp gauge, oh shit, it's on M.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03What's it on? M degrees. M degrees? It's almost at the P, though. It's almost it's almost at the P. It's on M, it's in between M and P. Um, no gas again. No gas again. You gotta be careful. No, just gas. I mean, I I'm pretty good at knowing. Well, I shit. Every time I think, I'm like, I bet this bitch is out of gas. I'll go to fill it up and it'll hold like seven gallons, nine gallons. It's a sixteen gallon tank. What you cracked me up was the fifty five. Yeah. Like you fill it up and it's full. Yeah. And all of a sudden it gets to a certain point and you'd watch it. And then it would get low and then it would get up and you'd be like, hey man, no, we got a while. Like what? It just sat there and fucking swayed back and forth and moved. All of a
