Hi, beautiful souls. Welcome back to Red Hot True, a home for the broken where healing begins. If you're new here, I'm Michelle and I help people heal their soul wounds and get free from oppression through the love, power, and transformation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let me ask you something today before we begin. Have you ever felt like you're praying, you're trying, you're doing all the right things, but you're still stuck in the same cycle? Like something keeps pulling you back, delaying you, blocking you, and you don't fully understand why. Because today we're going to talk about something that can either accelerate your freedom or quietly delay it for years, and that is obedience to God. Before we get into the full teaching today, can you please hit that subscribe button if you're listening on YouTube? This really helps our channel grow and we really appreciate your support. This is a new ministry, which we are really trying to get off the ground. We have had over 500 downloads on our podcast, which is progress, and I am excited about that. Redhott Troop Ministry.com is where you can find my landing page and all our services, what we offer. We have so many free prophetic healings on our YouTube channel. Don't forget to check these out because these are amazing. They are so powerful, they are really freeing. The Lord will move with you through your pain, your trauma, your soul wounds, your grief will help you uproot these things, plucking them from the root, because we do have to address our issues from that root, not from the surface level stuff that we're battling with. And this is how we ultimately find freedom. So let's begin. Psalms 119 is a really powerful blueprint for sanctification. It shows us that freedom, cleansing, and transformation come through obedience to God's word. How can a young person stay on the path of purity by living according to your word? Psalms 119 9. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I may not sin against you. Psalms 119 11. And I will run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding. Psalms 119 32. So obedience truly is the pathway to freedom by staying close to God, by listening to the Holy Spirit, by obeying him daily on your walk, because he will guide you. And we have to be obedient if you really want to tear down those bloodline altars, if you want to get free from the inequity that has been plaguing your family, then you have to show up obedient to God. You have to obey his will, his word, his commandments, his commands. We do need to be walking a sanctified, cleansed life where we are crucifying our flesh and we are dedicating time to prayer and fasting and walking through repentance and forgiveness. These are all foundations of Christianity. And without these things, the enemy can continue to oppress us and to block our destinies and to stop us. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. And I personally think that the most oppressed Christians are the ones that don't believe in deliverance, you know, because they think that their daily problems are just life, just life. But it's it's not. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. And we have to be alert to that. We we have to understand that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, and he is looking for weaknesses, he is looking for doors, he is looking for a place to land, for a home. And if we have all these open doors in our bloodline that we have never renounced, that we have never come out of agreement with, if we are still operating in idolatry, for example, and there is an altar of idolatry in our bloodline that hasn't been torn down, then the enemy can use that to block your destiny, block your anointing, and to keep you oppressed, keep those chains in place. So we have to be walking through sanctification. It is so important. Deliverance is part of this process, being freed from spiritual bondage and strongholds because we all have strongholds. We've all been through things in our lives, we've all been through harm. Many Christians have been so indoctrinated and they live in fear and shame every single day. These things are wide open doors for the enemy. And for spirits of torment and accusation and offense to take root in your life, these spirits are going to block anything good coming into your life. And they're going to keep you stuck in cycles of poverty, lack, delay, sabotage. So we have to question these things. We have to question our programming and our conditioning and things that we were raised to believe. Because just because you've believed something your whole life does not necessarily mean that it is true. So we have to be questioning and tearing down these strongholds that have formed in our lives. Because as a believer in Christ, you should not be drowning in shame. You should not have loads of guilt. You should not have loads of fear. Fear is a weapon of the enemy. So when you are constantly anxious, constantly overwhelmed, there are roots there. There are strongholds. There may be trauma. There's something in your past that needs to be dealt with so that you can experience that freedom because the Lord came to set us free. I used to have so much fear to the point that I was shaking, vomiting, I had emotional seizures, I was very sick from fear and anxiety. And it used to cripple me because the enemy used trauma as a way to knock me down and keep me stuck for a long time, keep me in chains because I had so much fear, I was a nervous wreck. And through the healing and the deliverance process, the work that the Lord has done in me, it has changed my life. It has given me confidence. And I know who I am in him and I know what he has called me to be. And even when adversity comes up against me, even when people try to block or sabotage or delay me, when people have have literally told me to close down this ministry, I'm I'm confident in what the Lord has done in me that I'm able to say, get behind me, Satan. You know, this is where you need to be. You need to understand who you are in Christ and who he has called you to be, who he has ordained you to be. So even when the enemy comes right up in your face, you recognize it and you are not swayed. You do not allow that voice of accusation to stop you, to limit you, even if it shakes you, even if you're anxious, even if you're overwhelmed, even if you need time to recover from these attacks, because these are demonic attacks, true people, where the enemy is using a person who has a lot of pride or a lot of fear or control issues to try and get in your way. But the Lord has made me so strong in him that I no longer shrink in fear, even when people strongly come up against me. And I used to have a huge trauma response to fawn and people please and blend in and keep the peace. I no longer do that. I am no longer afraid of my own voice, and this is huge. So this process does work, but you have to be obedient and you have to be willing to do the work. When God highlights something and you surrender it quickly, you will move forward. But when you hold on to it, you prolong the battle. In my life, there has been things along my journey that the Lord has asked me to fast from because they were hindering me in some way. And if I didn't understand fully why I was being asked to do this, I could wrestle with it. I could go do research. I could look it up and ask, is this really sin? And do a whole deep dive trying to find all the answers. And then the Lord would say, I'm literally only asking you to fast from this thing for a week or two, not forever, because everybody's convictions are going to be different. And there could be something that isn't inherently wrong or sinful that you're asked to give up for a period of time because it is affecting you negatively or because it will show you the root, the root that he is trying to heal in you. So we shouldn't be wrestling with God. When he asks us to put something down, we have to understand that this is for our highest good, that we are doing it for a reason. Currently, I'm doing a fast for this seven days, and I did another different type of fast last week. And fasting has been part of my process, but it's also something that I've wrestled with and fought with at times as well, because I didn't fully understand why I was being asked to do this. And there's different reasons why you might need to fast on your journey, but I also didn't want to activate any control issues through food or fear-based thinking when it comes to food, because these are things that I've had issues with in my past. So for me, like certain things will activate trauma and old wounds in me, and then I can start to wrestle with it. And that delays the process. Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I obey your word. Psalms 11967. Sometimes the delay isn't coming from God, it is resistance in us. We're resisting it because we don't understand why. And the word does say that we may not always understand why. Maybe we won't understand it till afterwards. Like he could ask you to give up something for a week and you don't fully understand why until the end of the week when you go through your deliverance and you see, oh, that thing was actually really stressing me out, and this is why. So we just have to trust him. That's what having faith is. It's about trust and about walking it out with the Lord. When you get guided to do something and it comes in peace and clarity, then you just go and do it. But also understand that sometimes the enemy tries to keep us very busy and wants us to work hard, and sometimes will take us the long way around. So sometimes that voice that's telling you, do this, do that, that may not be from God. So this is where discernment is really necessary. The Lord will ask you to do things in peace. And sometimes it may trigger trauma or an old wound in you that will come to the surface and you can sit and heal that wound. But sometimes the enemy just likes to keep us very, very busy and distracted. And I definitely went through that in the past when I worked with a lady. There was always another layer. There was always 10 layers to this thing. And oh, you like we had to work so hard, and that was not coming from God. A lot of that was confusion, it was fear, it was performance, it was pressure. Some of it was rooted in OCD. I had to really renounce that way of operating because it was counterfeit. That was not the Holy Spirit. In my early Christian walk, I was still showing up in ways that were not from God. There was still counterfeit healing, there was divination, there was occult ties in the bloodline. There was a lot of things that had to be cut off and a lot of doors that had to be closed in my life. And there was no peace there. There was no peace. There was so much stress. There was so much performance and pressure. And I think this is very common in early Christians, especially if they have trauma or if they have battled OCD in their past or if they have issues with perfectionism, or if you were ensnared with a false prophet, which is what happened to me. This person was a false prophet, and they are still teaching false teachings and things that are not rooted in the Word of God, teaching through a lot of pride and arrogance, fear, control, shame. These things are not from God. When you're early on in your journey, especially, you can really fall victim to these things, and you can fall into these traps of the enemy. So it's just important to understand that the enemy does try to distract you through confusion, and we have to make sure that we are moving towards all truth, asking the Lord to lead us into all truth. Now, some Christians do not like to talk about spiritual warfare, but it is a real battle. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6.12, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities. And you may at times feel confused, fear, resistance, or temptation. And this doesn't mean you're failing, but it does mean that there is a fight for your freedom because we do have generational patterns and strongholds. Many of us are breaking cycles, cycles of inequity that have come in through our bloodline. There were so many altars in my bloodline. There was idolatry, there was greed, there was murder, there was literal pirates in my ancestry. And the Holy Spirit revealed this to me numerous times: that these altars had to be burned down. And there could be no idolatry in my heart, my life, no witchcraft. I mean, even little cute crystals that looked like decorations, that all had to be gone out of my house completely. I had to renounce everything because there were these altars of witchcraft, and they were coming in to afflict and torment and harm. And there was so much oppression in my home. My family were getting so sick. And there was lots of things in my in my bloodline, like fear, addiction, incest, sexual violence, control, greed, pride. There were so many things on both sides of my family that had to be renounced, and we had to come out of agreement with these things. And it wasn't just constant prayer and constant renouncing or constant repentance, because that will actually exhaust you if that's all you're doing every day. You're going to feel so exhausted from that. It was actually more integrative trauma work that I was doing regularly, where I was healing the trauma and healing the ways that those altars had harmed me in my life or had harmed my children indirectly, and healing those soul wounds, healing the trauma, and then casting out any spirits that were feeding off of my trauma, and then burning down the altars. So it was done in a controlled way with the Holy Spirit guiding me and the enemy trying to distract me the whole way. So it was very stressful at times. But the enemy doesn't want you to get free. So sometimes it will feel like this war for your freedom and war for your soul. And it can be very confusing and very hard. So I learned to have a protocol for when that would happen, where I would sit and read Psalms 51 for repentance. I would I would read Psalms 91 for protection. And then I would pick another Psalm. And as I was doing that, I would ask the Lord to cast out anything that's attacking me, close any doors, surround me with angels, and bring peace back to my soul. And then I wouldn't do anything until peace was restored. Because sometimes we can get into spirals, we can get into fear. And when you start operating from fear, you're going to start praying against 50 different things. And that's when you're going to get very tired. So you don't want to operate from fear. You want to operate from clarity and peace with the Holy Spirit guiding you daily. But if you do get into that spiral, pulse and take some time out. 24 hours, let yourself rest, run about, bring peace to your nervous system. I have a healing for the nervous system in my prophetic playlist. And it's a really gentle healing where the Holy Spirit will heal your whole nervous system and bring you back to peace. And then you may move forward with clarity and peace the next day. It's really important to understand that we cannot be delivered from something that we are still in agreement with. So we have to come out of agreement with darkness. I gain understanding from your precepts. Therefore, hate every wrong path. Psalms 119, 104. So ask yourself, what am I still holding on to? Where is their compromise? What has become an idol in my life? Because freedom requires alignment with God's will. And sometimes if there's something that you're really holding on to that you're struggling to put down, there's usually roots there. There's usually a reason. It could be a soul fragment. It could be an inner child wound. It could be a part of you that learned this coping mechanism and it gives you a sense of control or a sense of safety or something, you know. And you have to heal that soul wound. You have to understand why you're feeling that way, why you're wrestling so much with this thing, why you're struggling so hard to put it down. Because if it gives you a false sense of safety or comfort, you have to understand that. And then you may have to do some inner child work, which I've done a lot of inner child healing so that my inner child feels safe moving forward and trusting God as well. The inner child has to trust Jesus and has to be able to move forward with him. And I think when I first came to Jesus, I had issues with that because my own father was so abusive and so controlling. So I think there's going to be parts of us that have fear around authority, and this has to be healed so that we can learn to trust, walk in faith, walk in obedience, and move through that sanctification process. Because dismantling strongholds really does require surrender. If something is still being fed, it cannot be torn down. I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. So obedience breaks things, but delay sustains them. And I've mentioned this earlier, but healing and deliverance do work together. Some things are spiritual, some things are soul wounds, some things are generational. Sometimes there are demonic altars. Like I mentioned, there are thrones, there are ruler demons that have these schemes and plans against us, and these things do have to be torn down. But don't do so blindly. Do so with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Only do it if he guides you to, because otherwise it's a waste of time. Because that thing, that root that they're still holding on to may not be broken off of you by the time you start praying over these things. So it's better to just wait and follow his guidance and partner with him and say, Lord, guide me every single day what you need me to do. Because God will deliver you, he will heal you, and he will renew your mind. This is all part of sanctification. I mentioned this earlier, but be aware of mixture, which is somebody who may be operating in confusion, control. They could have good intent, but if they have a lot of uncrucified flesh, they have pride, they are compromising, they are they're promoting teachings that pull you away from the truth of the gospel. Maybe they're they're extra teachings, like I remember somebody teaching about the Kabbalah tree. There's nothing about that in the Bible. So just be very careful that you are staying rooted in God's word. And the Lord does use scripture to guide us, but he also brings revelation through the Holy Spirit. And I don't believe every single revelation is going to be found word for word in the Bible. As somebody who has walked through my healing, the Lord has shown me altars. He has shown me things in my bloodline that I'll find certain things in the Bible that make sense when I read it through that lens. But if you have if you know nothing about altars, you're gonna struggle to find it, you know. So I'm not like I honestly believe that Christians who base every single thing in their lives around scripture, I do believe that's a form of legalism. And I don't fully trust that either when every single thing they do has to be found in the Bible. It's very obsessive and legalistic. So I don't live my life in that way, but I do use scripture as my foundation and I let the Holy Spirit lead because I operate through revelation. So often for me, the prophetic revelation will come first, then I will look towards scripture. And this really helps me because sometimes if the enemy is trying to bring confusion or deception, I will know instantly that this isn't this doesn't feel right, first of all, in my spirit, but this also contradicts something in the Bible, or it's rooted in legalism, or it's rooted in fear. So that's how I operate. But I think Christians who are solely operating in scripture alone, sometimes the missing piece is the Holy Spirit, and we need the Holy Spirit because you cannot read the Bible through your carnal mind. It just doesn't work, you know. It has to be read through the lens of the Holy Spirit. And there's different ways to read the Bible. Some people will read first and then feel it afterwards, or maybe get a revelation or a dream or a confirmation, a sign, something that helps them after reading. Whereas some people like me operate where they get the revelation first and then they read it. So there's not just one way. That's my point. Don't be so rigid, don't put God in a box, don't put people in a box. We do have different gifts. There are different gifts of the spirit, and the Lord will work with your strengths. I think it's so important as well that we are walking in humility and repentance because you're not ever going to be perfect. There is going to be error, there are going to be mistakes. So you must stay teachable and you must be willing to continuously learn because pride really comes to destroy what God has created. If the Lord has done a good work in you and He is Trying to walk that out to completion, the enemy is really going to try and distort and twist that and wants you to be walking in the opposite direction. I have strayed like a last sheep, seek your servant. Psalms 119, 176. Repentance really keeps you aligned because when we walk a life of repentance where we're frequently repenting and we are understanding when we have fallen short or we've made a mistake or we've we've noticed the odd the idolatry on our bloodline, or the Lord reveals a root to us, something that needs healing. Repentance is just part of that every day because the Lord likes humility and he hates pride. This is a process that does lead to freedom over time, but sanctification does take time. So we have to stay close to God, stay in his word, be obedient, and understand that even when it's heard that God is with you. And sometimes there are just things in us that need to be healed. Not everything needs deliverance. Some things just need healing, some things just need love. Sometimes we've we've been wounded, we've been harmed, we've been hurt by people, and those wounds need to be tended to and they need to be healed. Sometimes soul ties need to be broken off of us. Sometimes we need to walk away from people who are toxic to our soul, to our walk with the Lord. Sometimes we need to make hard decisions on this walk. Sometimes we need to clean up our lifestyle. You know, if you're really struggling with your health, you do need to make changes to your lifestyle if you want to feel better. It's not just a quick fix going to the pharmacy and taking a pill. That alone isn't is almost never enough. When your health is struggling, when your body is under pressure, it is a warning sign that you need to listen to. And it is time to make some changes for your longevity. And sometimes that can help you avoid the pharmacy. So it is about being obedient to God in all areas of your life, not just hoping for the quick fix or thinking I'm born again, so I don't need to do anything now. Everything is already done because Christ died for me. That way of showing up in your walk with the Lord might bring you peace and comfort, but it's not going to bring you freedom because we do have to walk out our sanctification and we have to be willing to uproot the things in us and in our bloodline that are displeasing to God and that go against his will. Obedience is not just about following rules, it's about becoming who God called you to be so that you can walk in your destiny. Because if the Lord has a calling on your life and he needs you to walk that out, you have to be ready for it. You have to sharpen your discernment. You have to understand the difference between truth and lies. You have to know the difference between the enemy's voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit. And this will all become clearer and clearer as you walk through your sanctification and your healing. Because the more we uproot fear and confusion and shame and guilt and all these things in us, the more we tear down these strongholds, the more we burn down the altars, the more holy, the more whole and complete you are becoming. And then the Lord is able to use you. Because you do not want to become one of those giant mega churches that ends up being used by the enemy because they haven't been obedient or they haven't crucified their flesh, or they've allowed idolatry or greed to take root in their hearts or in their lives. You want to be on the other side. Like, what is the point in being chosen, ordained, and raised up to fight for Christ if you're just going to become a weapon of darkness for the enemy? And unfortunately, that is what happens in some ministries because those people are not crucifying their flesh and they are not walking out their deliverance, and then they're leading so many people astray. And don't let that be you. Stay close to God, be obedient to him, and allow him to make you the very best that you can be, so that you can go on to truly help people in the way that he chose you for. So just a closing prayer then today. Lord, search our hearts. Reveal anything in us that is not aligned with you. Help us to walk in obedience, even when it's difficult, and break every agreement with darkness. Heal whatever needs healing and deliver us fully. Lead us into truth, freedom, and alignment with you. In Jesus' name, amen. So I pray that this teaching blesses you today. And I hope it wasn't too heavy. The purpose of this is not to be legalistic or or to be hard on people, because I understand that we all struggle with sin and none of us are perfect. But I think it really is about recognizing where the enemy has a foothold or where there is an open door and closing it. Because ultimately you deserve to walk in freedom. You deserve to be free from oppression. And it is possible to be free from oppression, but we have to cut off the enemy's access at the root. So I hope this makes sense today, guys. I love you lots, and I will see you in the next one. Take care. Bye. Remember to stay close to Jesus because freedom is yours.
