Uh hey, I'm gonna be quick. I won't be long. Jesus is alive, amen. That's why we're here today. Bow your head, close your eyes. Father, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, Father God, for what you have to say to us in the next 15 minutes, Father God. I thank you, Lord, that as we speak your word, Father, it pierces the heart, Father. I pray, Lord, we're reminded today of how good you are, how loving you are. And Father, there's no elements here, Father, that can keep us from worshiping you. In fact, Father, I ask a special blessing upon your people today. That they will know, Father God, that it's worth it to stand in rain. It's worth it to sit amongst some water, Father God. For Jesus, if you're willing to die on the cross for us, this is the least we could do today. So we honor you, we glorify you, and we give you thanks for all you have to say. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Well, I think to myself about how we're gathered here today to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And I pray that we all remember and think to ourselves today that this is what separates Jesus from so many others. There's many people throughout history who have claimed to be gods. There's many people who claim to have other gods. But church, those gods are dead. Our God is alive. Those men have tried to deter people, lie to people, those natural men who have tried to trick people, those false gods that have tried to lure people, they can't be prayed to, they can't save you, and they can't transform you. Our God can do all of those today. How many are grateful for a God who could save you, transform you, and hear you today? He's alive to do all three. And those are the three things I want to remind you of today. He's alive today to do all three. He's alive today, he lives today, and because he lives, he can hear you today. Tell your neighbor he can hear you today. Tell your neighbor he can hear you. Tell your other neighbor he can hear you too. He can hear you too. He can hear you. That's why, hear me. That's why there's a call to pray to him. That's why we're called to pray to God. What good would it be to pray to a God who is dead? What good would it be to pray to a God who cannot hear you? There's no point in that. Imagine lifting up a prayer and that prayer falls into silence. Church, our prayers are powerful. Say amen to that. You know why they're powerful? Because you prayed to a living God. You prayed to a God who can hear you, a God who can have his ear towards you, and in your worst of times, he says, Call to me, and he hears you. Imagine, imagine praying to a God that's dead. Your prayer would be powerless. Not because of lack of faith, not because you don't believe, not because you don't have confidence, not because you don't trust him. Your prayers would be powerless simply because he's dead. But today there's good news to all of us here. We're called to pray. We're called to pray because prayer moves God. Say amen to that for me. Prayer moves him. How many can testify that you've seen prayer work in your life today? How many can testify that you've seen prayer do great things in life? Why? You know why? Because prayer is powerful. But you know why it's powerful? Not because you're powerful, because our God is powerful. That's why our prayers are powerful. So today I encourage you. Today I encourage you, whoever you are, pray to God. You're having trouble in your family, pray. You're having trouble in your marriage, pray. You're dealing with rebellious children, pray. You having trouble at work, pray. You're dealing with difficult people, pray. You got bad news from the doctor? Pray. You're scared of some things going on, pray. You're worried about things, pray. You're confused about things, pray. You're having questions about life, pray. You don't know what to do, I tell you today, pray to the living God. And in the name of Jesus, our God hears our prayers. Give the Lord a clap and thank him for hearing all our prayers today. He hears our prayers, he's alive, he's active, don't stop praying. He's alive, he's moving, don't stop praying. Prayer moves God, it moves him. Why does it move him? Because he's alive, he's moved by the prayers of his people. So let us be a church that prays. Let us be a people that pray because our God is alive and well, ready to hear us. Our God is alive, he hears our prayer. Our God is alive, and because he's alive, he saves us. He saves us. Tell your neighbor he can save you today. Tell your neighbor he can save you, he can save you. And if you are saved, just smile and say, buddy, I already am. I already am saved. But you know why you're saved? Because Jesus is alive. That's how you're saved. He does He's alive. What would what good would a dead lifeguard be to save somebody drowning? What good would it be for a dead pilot to help maneuver a plane that's in trouble? What good would it be for a dead doctor to perform surgery on somebody who needs it? They can't help you. Something that's dead cannot save you. Someone that's dead that cannot save you. But Christ rose again because he knew we needed salvation. Christ rose again because he knew we would need to be saved from death, hell, and the grave. So there's good news, church. Jesus Christ overcame death, hell, and the grave. And now, good news, you ready? You and I will overcome death, hell, and the grave. We don't have to be afraid of death. Death is our ticket to heaven, it's the doorway to heaven. Death had a hold on us, but now we say, Death, where is your victory? Grave, where is your victory? Church, we don't need to be afraid. Christ can save you, and if he saved you today, I tell you, rejoice. God is alive, Jesus is alive, you are saved because of a living God today. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. If you're not saved, good news. You can pray and He can save you today. Finally, our God is alive, He can save you. Our God is alive, He can hear you. And as we've been talking about, our God is alive, that means He can transform you, He can help change you. Something that's dead can't help change you. Something that's dead can't help transform you. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus, and that new creation that you are is being worked on. That new creation that you are needs help in life, it needs help through struggles and battles. That new creation that you are is still being transformed. Jesus is alive so that He can transform you. God is alive so that He can keep working in your life. So today I tell you good news. If you need changes in life, God is here to help you change. If you need breakthrough in life, God is here to help bring breakthrough. He can help transform every life. Hear me. You may think, but I have a really bad past. God can still transform you. You may think I've done some horrible things, God can still transform you. You may think I have some bad habits, God can still transform you because he is alive, and because he's alive, he's ready to move in your life. He's ready to change some things, transform your life, he's ready to help you grow, he's ready to help you learn. I tell you today, when God came to when God created you, when God made you, he knew what he was doing, he made you with the ability to call to him through prayer, reach out to him for salvation, and be transformed by him. So to every person here today, I encourage you, he is alive. Pray to him. He's alive, he can save you, and he is alive, he's ready to transform every person who can always you who can always use transformation in their life. Raise your hand today, and today, Father, I thank you for transformation, I thank you for change. I thank you, Lord, that we're able, Father God, because of a living God, to experience a God who hears us, experience a God who saves us, and experience a God who can transform us. I pray today, Father God, that we will learn and we will see that operating in our life. That today people are reminded to pray to you. Call upon the name of the Lord, call upon him, pray to him. He's alive, he can hear you. If you need salvation, if Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior, ask him, come into your heart, he can save you, he's alive to save you. And today, whatever you still need work on in your life, he can transform you. He's still in the business of transforming people. He hasn't given up on you, he's not angry with you, he's not casting you to the side, he welcomes you, he welcomes you, and he says, Child, I can help you, I can change you. I'm still gonna work in you if you surrender to me. So today I thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. You're alive, you're alive so you can hear us, you're alive so you can save us, and you're alive so you can transform us. Today we give you the honor and glory, and we thank you that a living God hears us, a living God rescues us, and a living God is working in our lives. To you we give all the honor and glory, and we thank you today that you did not stay in a tomb, you came out alive and well. You're watching us even in this moment, you're here with us even in this time. We give you the honor and the glory, and we say today, our God is alive. You are alive, the risen king. And because, church, because he lives, we live today. We give you the honor and the glory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Give the Lord a hand cap today. Will you do me a favor? Will you stand to your feet? Bow your head, close your eyes for one more prayer. Every head bowed, close your eyes. If you're here today and you need to give your life to Jesus, this is the day to do it. He's alive to save you, he's alive so that you don't have to experience torment in hell. He's alive so you don't have to die and spend eternity in hell. He's alive so that you can have eternity in heaven. What do we have to do? Pray and he will save you and then he can transform you. Pray to him, he can save you, and then he can transform you. So if you're here today and you need to give your life to Jesus, bow your head, close your eyes today. If you're here today and you're saying, Manual, I need Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I don't understand everything, I don't get everything, I don't know everything, I don't really understand how it works, but I do know, I do know I need Jesus to be the savior of my life. I've never asked him. I've never asked him to come into my heart, I've never asked him to forgive me of my sins, I've never asked him to be my Lord and Savior. Well, he's alive today so that he can do all those things. He's alive today so he can answer all those prayers. If you're here today and you need to say, and you're here saying, I need Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Maybe you're thinking to yourself, Daniel, I asked God in my heart a long time ago, but I sure haven't been living right. I sure haven't been living the way I'm supposed to, I can admit it. I sure need to get some things changed in my life. Well, this prayer is for you today, also. To make that confession, to say, Lord, I haven't been acting like you're my Lord and Savior. But today, Father, I want that. I need that to change in my life, I need transformation in my life. If you can say yes to either one of those things, will you just lift up a hand for me where you are? And let's just say this prayer together, all together. Say, Jesus, thank you for dying and rising again. Come into my heart, Jesus. Forgive me of my sins. You are my Lord, you are my savior. Thank you for dying. I receive you into my heart. Thank you, Jesus. To you be the honor, to you be the glory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Give the Lord a hand clap today. I love you, I'm proud of you. If you said that today, especially if you said it for the first time, if you're like, I gave my life to Jesus today for the first time, come find us. I'll be up here. Just come say hi to me. I'll be right here in the front. Just come say hi. I want to hug you, I want to welcome you. Just want to say we're proud of you. Church, we're gonna close out our service with worship today. So you're gonna stay standing.
