It's division elegance, holy hilarity where grace meets grit and sanctified clarity with Britain on the mic and truth in her hands. She's breaking down the Bible with laughter and a plan. It's divine. Oh, it's divine shenanigans.
SPEAKER_00Hey y'all, welcome back to Divine Shenanigans where we are learning, laughing, and loving Jesus one messy, grace filled moment at a time. And today we are not doing a calm, quiet devotional. We are not doing a let's just reflect peacefully moment. No, today we're stepping into something louder than that. Because Easter is not subtle. It's not gentle, it's not polite. Easter is God saying, I'm not done. This isn't over. Watch what I do next. So if you showed up today feeling a little tired, a little hopeful, or honestly, a little skeptical, you're in the right place. Because we're going to talk about a kind of hope that doesn't break under pressure. We've heard the Easter story so many times that sometimes it loses its weight. We skip straight to he is risen and we miss the shock of it. Because nobody that morning was expecting resurrection. Nobody showed up thinking, oh yeah, today is the miracle day. They showed up expecting grief and found glory. Let's ground ourselves again in Matthew 28, 5 and 6. Do not be afraid. He is not here. He is risen just as he said. Let's sit with that for a second. Just as he said. That means God didn't change his mind, God didn't forget his promise, God didn't lose control in the middle. Even when it looked like everything had gone wrong, God was still on schedule. So let me take you back to that personal season of mine. Because it wasn't dramatic. And honestly, those are the hardest seasons. Because if something big is wrong, you know how to respond. But this was more like quiet burnout, low-level discouragement, and a weird mix of I love God and I'm tired though. Have you ever had that? Where you're like, I'm not quitting, but I would like a nap and a small miracle. And I kept thinking, if God is working, why does it feel so uneventful? Like I expected a breakthrough moment, a clear answer, a spiritual competti canon, but instead, I got slow change. Small piece. Tiny shifts I almost missed. And looking back now, that was the stone movie. Sometimes we miss resurrection because we're looking for fireworks. And God is doing foundation work. Let's go a little bit deeper here. The stone wasn't moved for Jesus. Jesus didn't need help getting out. The stone was moved so we could see in. God doesn't just do miracles for power, He does them for revelation. So what if the thing you're waiting on, the breakthrough you're praying for, the answer you're stressing about, is already in motion. You just haven't seen it yet. When you're in a sealed tomb season, stop assuming nothing is happening. Just because you don't see movement doesn't mean there isn't any. Shift your question. Instead of why isn't this changing, ask God, where are you already moving? Look for a small piece of evidence. A piece where panic used to be. Strength where you used to spiral. A conversation opening up. That's resurrection, starting quietly. We've all been taught to treat hope like it's delicate. Like, don't get your hopes up. But Easter says, get your hopes up anyway, because real hope has already survived worse than what you're facing. Let me share a few moments from this community. One person said, my anxiety didn't disappear, but it doesn't control me like it used to. Another shared, I prayed for change in my family for years, and nothing happened until it slowly did. And this one, right here. I thought I had lost myself completely, and now I'm slowly becoming someone new. Hope is an instant, flashy, or always emotional. Sometimes hope is choosing to believe again tomorrow. Now let's stay here for a little bit longer. Because some of you are still in Friday, and Friday's heavy, Friday's confusing, Friday makes you question everything. Friday says it didn't work out. That prayer wasn't answered. This hurts more than I expected. But Easter says that wasn't the ending. That was the middle. When life feels like it stopped on the worst day, don't rush yourself. Even Jesus had a Saturday. Stay connected. Isolation makes Friday feel permanent. Hold on to truth, not just feelings. Feelings say it's over. Truth says, just wait for Sunday. Let's talk about grace for a second, because we often think grace is soft, but grace is actually powerful. Grace is what defeated sin, overcame death, restored what was broken. Grace didn't whisper over your life, it declared freedom. So if you were carrying shame, regret, I should have known better thoughts. Easter says, this is not your final identity. Grace is louder than your past. So let's go deeper into real life. I told you we were going deep on this one. When you're grieving, let grief exist without labeling it as failure. Invite God into the pain instead of hiding it. Look for living moments in the middle of loss. Resurrection doesn't erase grief. It meets you in it. When family is hard. Choose grace even when it's not returned. Set boundaries without guilt. Pray for change. But release control of the timing. God can move stones. You can't. So when you're struggling internally with something, speak truth out loud, even if it feels weird, I know it does. Take one small step instead of waiting for motivation. Remind yourself, this is not the end. And then when life is good, you celebrate without guilt. Share your testimony. Stay grounded in gratitude. Resurrection is meant to be celebrated. That brings us to today's song of the day. It's called The Stone Rolled Away by myself, Brynn Elise Music. And this one this one carries the whole message of today. It's about sealed places opening, silent seasons shifting, and the moment hope becomes real again. The full version will play at the end of the episode, so please stick around. The full lyric video is on Brandy Lee's Music on YouTube. It's also streaming everywhere. So check it out. I hope you enjoy it. Alright, let's take a moment to pray together. Jesus, thank you that you didn't stay in the grave. Thank you that you didn't leave us in the dark. Thank you that even when we don't see it, you are still moving. For the person who feels stuck, remind them that movement is happening. For the one grieving, wrap them in peace that doesn't have to make sense yet. For the one struggling with family, relationships, or tension, bring healing in ways only you can. And for all of us, help us trust you in the middle. Help us believe again. Help us remember the stone has already been moved. That hope is alive. That grace is louder. And you are not finished. We love you, we trust you. In Jesus' name. Amen. Now if you take nothing else from today's episode, I want you to take this. God is not quietly giving up your story. He is actively rewriting it. Even now, even here, even in the places you've already labeled over. And if this week gets heavy, if you start to spiral, if you feel like you're back in Friday again, come back here. There is always a seat for you at Divine Shenanigans. We're not perfect, we're not finished, but we are held. And remember, a stone moved away. Hope isn't fragile. The worst day wasn't the final word. And grace is louder than death. Happy Easter, my friend. He is risen, and that changes everything. Now take a deep breath and let the stone rolled away carry you into that truth. God bless y'all.
SPEAKER_01I hope buried deep a loved ones lay. But even death can't hold the flame. Cause heaven never walks away. Three days of silence. A breath, a shift, world break.
