I'm Michael and this is my wife Ashley and this is the Jesus, Michael, and Ashley show. So this is our second episode or whatever you want to call it, second video. We don't know what this is. It's fine. So I thought it'd be great just to dive right into it. Okay, let's do it. Let's talk about Satan.

Well, you know, it's funny because, you know, some people don't actually believe he exists. But I don't know. I would say he firmly exists.

Well, why? Well, that's a great question. So, okay, some examples here. Okay. So obviously there's a lot of division going on in the world. There's just people fighting amongst each other. The way I like to put it is that Satan's like the ultimate gaslighter. So he is that person. It's almost like how you see in the cartoons where you have a little angel on your shoulder and you have the little devil on your shoulder. It's kind of like that. And the Bible says, do not trust your own thoughts and filter your thoughts through Christ. Make sure your thoughts are pure before you just start running with your thoughts, basically.

yes everyone we're all working on things it's a daily uh daily thing so those thoughts like sometimes thoughts pop in your head you're like where's that thought come from it's like uh but also you have these thoughts where they pop in and they're like you know like You deserve this. You deserve this promotion. Screw them. You know what I mean? What do they do? They're nothing. You deserve this. And so it's like he kind of flows in there with your own thoughts. And I'm not saying the devil's always in your head. Definitely not. But there's some aspect to that where we want to be selfish all the time. And we see that in society. Why aren't we being good? Why aren't we being nice and kind and peaceful? in 2025 i would have thought that we could have um you know been in a civilized uh situation but it's like we're countries are rising against countries and it's just getting worse and worse and countries are rising

which is crazy like left versus right liberal democrat and now you have email versus mail now like it's and and also of course all the countries and also check this out and i'm gonna go in the details about the anti-Semitism, because why is there so much focus right now on Israel? It's because probably Satan, honestly. He has some hand in that because of what's going on with that. But anyways, there's just so many examples, like gaslighting. Also, like we said, your thoughts and things like that, the selfishness. He's

also, I like when you say this, he's the ultimate deceiver. Yes. That's my favorite One to say, because that's what he's doing, whether it's those thoughts where you think that you deserve whatever it is or that you don't deserve anything at all. He's the ultimate deceiver. Anything, if he can find that little entrance, whether it's either one of those things, he's going to take it. and deceive you and make you think those things when it's probably the opposite.

A bunch. I wish I had the number. Okay. It says it. I'll have to get back on that. Yeah, we'll make it up. It says it a lot. It says... Jesus says do not be deceived do not be deceived and right now I'm looking around as a Christian I'm looking at the world and I'm like everyone's being deceived everyone all this misalignment of truth all these things and I feel like again this right here is the truth and everything else doesn't feel like truth at all so I feel like everyone's being deceived and again that's why we're making this video so I think he's doing a pretty good job succeeding in the world. I would even argue, I would say that... The world is more sinful today than it's ever been. It seems like we're okay. We're all getting along and this and that. But think about this. Think about people getting on their phones and looking at pornography. It's literally at the fingertips of your hands. And then you have all these people writing about each other on comments. People are going to put comments on our things. Yeah. Hateful comments and things with hateful natures. Yeah. in essence that's not showing a holiness or righteousness or goodness at all it's just this other bit that's lashing out at people and it keeps manifesting in us our friends family people everywhere it's all over the place and it just it's a very sinful world and we're on the brink of something snapping and again that's why i uh really do believe like christ is coming back soon um sooner than a lot of people think um

so yeah he's succeeding in the world i would say

Yeah, definitely. So spiritual attacks, encounters.

Have we ever had any spiritual encounters? The simple, very short answer to that is yes. Absolutely. Absolutely, yes. We want to do a few different videos or whatever, shows, talking way more in full detail

We've... we've had our share already. And it's only been for me, it's only been a year of, you know, learning about God and having him in my life.

They say, uh, sometimes when you have attacks like that, uh, it means that, um, that basically when you're a Christian, you're more prone to being attacked because when you're following along and when you're doing his tune, walking your life to his tune, when he sees other people who aren't walking in that light and they're trying to get out the message like us, like the good news about Christ Jesus and him dying for everyone's sins. He hates it. He hates it. Satan hates it. He hates you guys too, but he hates us probably a little more. Sorry, he's got more hate on us, but it's

true. It's true because Because we have God in our lives, and he can't stand it. He can't stand that. It's one of the worst things

to him. And he's trying to take every single person down with him before he goes. Anyone and everyone he can. So Satan doesn't want you to worship him. A lot of people will worship Satan. No, he doesn't want you to worship him. He wants you to worship yourselves, honestly. Yeah, I know. It's true. Wow. It's like we're still fighting with this thing where we're– We're worshiping ourselves. We want to be our own God. We don't want to be told what to do.

Or worshiping literally anything or anyone except for Jesus Christ. Honestly. Celebrities. Anything you can think of.

Oh my gosh. The manifestation of the evilness and celebrities and politicians.

Anything but Jesus Christ is what he wants you to be focusing on. And worshiping. I... idolizing

yes yes and a lot we like we idolize ourselves it's just ourselves and you know we want all this attention and we want to have the nice cars and like things and stuff like that um but again he does manifest in just the celebrities and things like that and um you have like politicians i'm sure you've seen a video possibly or two of them doing like sacrifices and things demonic really demonic things and um you start to see that there's an evil in this world and it starts to manifest to start to see through the cracks it's like it's like satan's right in front of us and nobody everyone refuses to see it like he is right there but y'all just not y'all but a lot of people out there just they refuse to see i see it clear it's crystal now Um, anyways, we have had spiritual encounters. Yes. We're going to make a video and disclose full detail because I think you can get some use out of it and how, what we did and how we overcame it because we've had a powerful one, a couple of powerful ones. And, um, it just, if anything, it grew in our faith more.

And not even just spirit and not even evil, not just evil spiritual encounters, but I, I had, um, An absolutely beautiful encounter with God, multiple. So we just want to share all those things. Yeah,

So I feel like we kind of talked about how he operates a little bit. Do you have any more that you want to add on to that?

You know what? I would say, you know... For instance, I would say... You know, I think we did a pretty good job about that, honestly.

So, I mean, the next question we have, the last one is, what is his ultimate goal? So, to me, I really think it's just to divide everyone from everyone. And, again, make sure that you're worshiping or... Idolizing anyone, anything other than Jesus Christ, who is Lord. And also, I've heard a lot of people, you know, saying one of his ultimate goals is to split up. the fam split up your family your husband and your wives and your kids and get into the family and just anything he can do anything is especially because another thing that satan hates is when you do get married and you're married with God as well in your, in your marriage. Like we, we have, he hates it. It's, it's one of the other things he just hates. Cause you just made a covenant with Jesus Christ.

And when you're married, you're with one person and that's not how the world works. is these days and if he can seep into there and take the husband away from wife wife away from the husband yeah and and just get in yeah and and cause some sort of chaos inside of your family

one of the ultimate goals because it starts there and it just trickles on down and keeps on going i mean he does other things as well but i i kind of i think that's a really good good thought not a good thought is but a good way to think about how he also how he operates that's one of the main ways to operate um families are supposed to be based on on the bible and on god and having him in your life and walking with him and if he can get through that then You know, you got to hold strong. When you get married, you have to be even stronger against Satan. That's why I need Jesus in your marriage.

Yeah, absolutely. So I'm glad we have Christ in our lives. And he's like the glue that keeps us together. I

have the statistic, but it's like upwards of like 80%. to 90% families that have Christ in their lives, their divorce rates are non-existent. Oh, it's so much

lower. We should get the stats for that for the next one because it's very interesting. And husbands and wives, families that pray together stay together. It's a little silly little quote, but it's true. If you have God and you pray together, you stay together.

Another quick little note I was going to say is that when you read this, there's so much history in here. And one common thing keeps happening over and over and over again. What happens is we're close with God. Man steps away from God and goes their own way and society crumbles. It happens over and over and over in this book. You step away from God And evil steps in. That's what's

now. Satan's stepping in. He's stepping in. And more people have stepped away from Christ in the past... just 10-15 years or so back in the 80s there was a lot more Christians actually things were actually prospering actually doing fairly well actually but now that people are stepping away it's like society is crumbling it's like again he's like the glue to our marriage he's the glue to society boo that's a bar

and so Satan takes that away takes it out of schools takes it out of everything takes Jesus Christ out of everything that he possibly can and makes Jesus offensive now for some reason yeah you can't talk about jesus you can't teach kids about jesus it's that's how that's another way he operates

make it make sense um so yeah i see that over and over and uh again like you said like just dividing the families um that's so huge that he's dividing families um so yeah his ultimate goal and you again you touched on this earlier was just Y'all, everything's a distraction. Everything is a distraction besides Jesus Christ. Like he is the most important thing. He wants a relationship with you. He's there. He loves you. If you sit there and you pray, I promise you he's listening. And it's just, honestly, it's like, you know, when someone prays, like sometimes people say they pray to God, right?

what people do is they pray to God, but you actually have to pray to the Judean Christian God, Jesus Christ. You have to actually... direct your prayer towards the correct god because you can be a god of this you can call anything a god and a lot of people in television say god god god but they need to direct that god or your thought and your your uh intentions towards the correct god which is the only god um christ jesus

and it kind of comes back to your focus and i kind of want to not fully quote because i you know not good with fully remembering anything but um our pastor at our church pastor Pastor Wendy, she will say, it's not a faith issue. It's a focus issue. You got to focus on Jesus. We have faith all the time, every day and everything that we do. That's what she will say. I have faith right now that this mic is working. Hope

we need to focus on Jesus. I really like that word from her. So I wanted to bring that up because it's focus. Everything's a distraction. You got to focus. Again, especially for me, easier said than done. You got to keep trying.

Absolutely. Yeah. So hopefully someday you might look into this just a little bit, even if we spark the seed and planted you just to look into Jesus and his Holy Scripture just even a little bit. I promise it will change your life like it's changed our lives. And Jesus Christ loves you. He does. He loves everyone, but he hates sin. He

He hates sin, but he loves the person. And if you're going to continue to sin and do bad things that are just like... wicked things behind you know he knows your thoughts your actions everything like that but if you're going to continue to do that it separates you from him so um like kind of like a doctor per se let's say you have like you're sick or something like that how can a doctor heal you if you don't tell him what you're sick of so if you were to pray to jesus you say lord you literally just just look humbly just talk to him and say lord jesus christ if you're out if you're there I want to know you. I want to get to know you. Please reveal yourself to me and humbly say, I'm sorry. I've done wrong. I've done evil in this life. And I want to do better. And I want to know you. Lord, if you're out there, please reveal yourself to me. And in Jesus' name, amen. If you pray that a couple of times a night, I promise you something will change. It definitely will. It happened for me. He changes your heart. There's something in your heart that he grabs and changes. But also when you pray for those things, basically he kind of reveals himself to you. And you pay attention to the signs and things like that i promise you things will start happening in your lives all of a sudden christians might just be jumping in your life all of a sudden just these little things you pay attention to the little signs he will reveal himself to you um but anyways he's out there he wants you to choose him and he loves you very very much so anyways um I think that was a pretty good second episode.
