Yeah, I feel like it doesn't feel like two minutes since we filmed the last one, but it's because we've not really filmed many others in between. Yes. But I feel like we've had lots of like random gigs this month. Like I kept saying, didn't I? Like every single weekend we've had a gig that we've either not done in ages or have never done at all. So it's like every single week has just been learning a whole new thing. Oh yeah. It's been fun though. Yes.

We had the um we had the crazy movies one. That was just so much fun. We did about 45 movies in 45 costume changes. Well, and 45 costume changes in about half an hour. It was just madness, but so fun. JJ's movie night. What was it? Dirty dancing, Grease, Greatest Showman, Saturday Night Fever, just everything you could think of. Can you tell the funny story like that?

So we were doing a costume change for Great Showman, and bearing in mind, like we kept on the same shoes throughout. So these two costume changes are quick. She's like, oh like let's put the socks on, let's put the socks on. And I was like, Zoe, like I really can't bother taking my shoes off just to put these socks on for the sake of like one routine. It was literally, it wasn't even one routine, it was like half the routine, wasn't it? Because we were all about halfway through. And then she's like, oh no, like they're really sexy, let's put these sexy socks, right? Zoe gets out of her socks and she's putting them on. So then I'm like, oh well I'm just gonna have to put them on now, aren't you? Because I can't go all be the one without the sexy socks on. Oh, I was still the one without the sexy socks on. Because Zoe's socks had this like lacy little like garter-y looking thing, like at the top, but they're just like really cute.

Like, do you know what I mean? Like, what on earth? It completed the outfit. I was not impressed. Oh, it was so funny. It was also funny because me lying down with my socks hanging out the door.

Oh, so Jenny like created this like PDF, right? Um, and it was the it was the beautifulest PDF I've ever seen in my entire life. Like, it was a stunning like piece of artwork that she created. And she like basically she put all of the set list and stuff on there, but like she'd not really been like specific on what we were on for and stuff, apart from one bit where there was just a picture of the Von Trapp kids like holding their hands in like a little choir like pose. Um, so they're like this. So then I'm like, she put some music in, but it was just like so random because she was just like, Hold this pose for this. So she's in the wicked section, wasn't it?

Yeah, and it was like the wicked section, it was the song that you know at the beginning, like you probably won't remember, but like it's at the beginning when like Glinda like arrives at Shears and it's like I don't know what they're singing, and I was thinking, is she gonna want us to lip sync? Because I don't actually know what I know the tune, but I don't know what words they're saying. So I was just thinking, we're gonna be stood there like looking at the Bon Trapkins.

Like my first ever like solo trip that I did, I went to Salzburg specifically to do the sound of music hike. So there's literally like a little route that you can do that goes like around the hills where, like, obviously, she wanted to spin on the hills singing. Yeah, bought a little tripod for myself and everything, so I was going on my own. I was like, we're gonna do this, like we're doing the TikTok, like, I'm gonna be Julie Andrews, it's great. And then I got myself all the way from Salzburg to this place, like where the hike was, bearing in mind it's like a train journey. Like, I've like, I was like pretty proud of myself, the fact that I'd managed to get on this train in another country, like in another language, and I was like, Yes, look at me, like smashing it. Get there, get up to the trail, bearing in mind, like I get to the top of the trail and I'm already like because it's high, right? And I get there, and there's literally there's just like a tape across it, and it's like trail closed because they were like redoing the thing. And then everyone when I got home was like, Did you not check beforehand? I was like, it's a footpath, like why would I expect that to be it's not it's not even an attraction, like there is like a thing there, and it's like the sound of music trails, it's advertised as that. But I just thought, oh, it's just a little walk, like it's like a walk around a park. I did not expect it to be closed. So I got all the way there and I was just kind of like looking at this thing, and bearing in mind, like where that is, there's nothing really in the town. There's about like two pubs and like two shops. It was like a Sunday and it was all closed anyway. Yeah, so I'm just there in this little town, like what now, guys?

That was all an 80s show, so I was like, oh no, I don't know, Madonna. So I'm not very 80s. I'm not very 80s at all. I'm 90s and onwards. Or 70s, I like. 80s is popular. With the best. Do you think? Yeah.

It's got some good. I like could pick out certain single bangers, but as a whole, genre, decade, it's not my fave. It's not my fave. Our favourite is Life is a mystery. Sorry, I know I went to do the wrong dance wrong.

But that was really fun. The crowd was really good. It was like an outdoor festival. Crowd was really good. The lights were really good. We had to get changed in the dark outside in a little marquee that was pitch black. So we borrowed one of the soundman head torch. And at one point, because Jen was doing quick, quick changes, full Madonna changing her outfits and wigs and everything. She had the head torch on.

I was like, get ready. Um, but that was yeah, I really, really enjoyed that one. That was another gig that was.

I feel like it was just a bit chaotic. Like, I don't think we'd ever address this, like on the podcast before, but we have this thing, right? And it's like no, it's nothing bad. But like, I think because a lot of our gigs now are like daytime, because it's like girly pops, like we don't really have this as much anymore. But then whenever we have a gig that's an evening, if we're like waiting around, it's always between 8 and 9 pm. We all just go a bit like crazy. It's literally, I I honestly I call it like the 8pm Delulus because it's just like it's just I don't even know what happens. Like I didn't realise you had a name for it. Call it the 8pm. The 8pm Delulu's Dululu's because it just happens every single time. Like we went we went a bit wild. Like I'm trying to think about doing. Oh Jen for material girl, we don't have any choreo for that. So she was like, Oh, just just come on and then just like hand me things. I've got some pearls, I've got like some fake money, just keep coming on and handing me things, right? And I was like, you just keep saying handing me things. I was like, we're gonna start coming on with the most random stuff, and you'll just have to re-picking up a chair, like picking up the stuff. Like, like what like like literally we can just keep bringing that random things on. But then we were just like proper like tickled them, weren't we? Like, yeah, we just got we just all got the giggles getting ready. When it's like a late night gig, it's always that little hour. I think because you get there really to like set up or whatever, and then you just sat around, you get ready, and then you sat there the hour before, and it's just a bit like, well, what now? And it just gets a bit silly, and I don't know why.

No, but silly fun is the best, it's so good. For context, we had driven, well, from here, five hours, including getting to Jen's house. Five hours there, uh, well, Jen drove, and then it was hot. We were then had three hours we like looked around, had a bit of dance to watch Gary Barlow. Gary Barlow. The boys, watch the boys, and then went back to the room, and that's when that happened. And then we also did the reverse journey straight back again and got in at half four. Uh, which I actually slept all the way.

And then one more thing that we did this week, we moved the caravan! This week, this month, this month, we moved the caravan, which was a success until we had to park it back on the drive.

It was the getting it off and on your drive that was the issue, wasn't it? Yes, like you're quite lucky that you have a really nice street because half the neighbourhood was out helping in some way. Imagine, like, literally, just this random man that I've never met before. He was just like, come on, I'm like. I've never met him either. No, I've never spoken that man.

I know, everyone was pushing them carrying that nice little chat while we were pulling the van at the drive. Oh my gosh, it was hilarious. So, apart from that, it was really successful. Drove there in the field, we just basically took over the whole field because there wasn't that many people there, were we? Did the episode really good, danced around in the field, like I said, and drove back again. It was fantastic. So I cannot wait. But it worked. I was like, it moves, the wheels stay on, touch wood, quick, because we're going to somewhere. Did I just sneaky? I think I sneakily said it. We're going somewhere this weekend. Oh, we could say that.

It's gonna be a great set. So we did that like a uni where you can. I always think uni gigs are the best because you can fully go for it. Um I mean go for it as in do all the bits, not yeah, not like obviously we go for it when we're doing it with the kids, but energy-wise, just to clarify appropriate that's the word PG version, that's the word yeah, but uni goes, you can just go all out. Um, and it was so good, and the crowd was singing every single word for every single Kate Perry song. I'm like, how do they still know it? Like, also, they did look like babies, I did feel really old, but that was a really good one. The funny story is that Lauren left us alone in the changing room. This was a bit weird to Lula 2 o'clock pm where Lauren sent messaged like, can you just um brush my wig for me?

In the clubs, but they I like one of them was doing this, every other dancer I saw was just moving, like really low effort. Like, yeah, they looked nice, but I was like, the beat is like this. I was like, give us some. I know that's not the vibe there, but I was like, let me on that podium and let me give. Yeah, well, they're not wearing many clothes, and it's 2 a.m., 4am, it's okay, if it's like that, yeah, and I'm like, it's not gonna give it some more like no, no, that's it. No, it wasn't that. Sorry, I had real trouble trying to read that then. Prosper. Yes, it's one of them. Um that song just kept coming up, and it's just gonna remind me of Ibetha, and it's just like the sun, and I love a bit of house, so I haven't actually done house dance for ages.
