They got that money and they started making moves. Man, man, make moves. They said what loyalty? No, I'm just joking. But first, like before we get into it, like just let's talk about that. Like, so I've been following WNBA for a long time. When I came out of college, I graduated college in 2012, and it's not an aspiration that I had for myself, because I want to say that the salary coming out was$39,000. Um, and it's so crazy. I knew the money aspect, but I didn't know like a whole lot of the aspect at that age as far as like still flying commercial, uh, still having they were sharing rooms and hotels. So just where like the WNBA has come, yeah, just how far it's come, it's been tremendous. But also, too, something that I take into consideration, like the WNBA, it just celebrated its 30-year anniversary. So it's like the league is still kind of young. I knew, yeah. The league is still young. We're we're older than the league. Yeah. We're we're damn.

I think that we are going to have the best year yet that we've seen with the league. Um, this is definitely a long time coming. Congratulations to the ladies. I feel like when WNBA put the season out, put the game, the schedule out, especially after signing that media deal, I feel like their backs was against the wall where they had to go ahead and pay up. So congratulations to the ladies, man. Absolutely. Let's start with Chicago Sky. Let's start with the Sky. Skylar Diggins signed today. But she signed yesterday, I want to say. Um, DJ Nay Carrington signed today. They got Elizabeth Williams, Courtney Vendersloot, she's coming back. Um Stevens, didn't she sign there? Azura Stevens. Azura Stevens. So it's crazy how like, at the end of the day with Chicago, when it comes to Chicago, my opinion, they didn't have nowhere to go but up.

If you are expecting us to kiss Caitlin Clark's ass all season, you won't get that either. And what I mean by hate train, we love the kid. We are fans. We love the girls' game. We like her a lot. We are not afraid to critique anybody's game. Um, if you're expecting an angel Reese hate train, you won't get that here either. Because we are fans. We love basketball here. We love, we love the players. We don't particularly we particularly don't have like a certain WNBA team. Like me, I'm trying to, if I had to say that I had to pick a scene, I'm going to pick the Atlanta Dream because I live in Atlanta. So it's like right in my back door. So I I'll I'll say that I'm a dream fan. If I had to think about the most games that I've been to, I've been to like a lot of Atlanta Dream games now that I think about it. Just because like I've been here. Um I've also been to, I've been to a lot of I've been a lot to Indiana Fever games too. I've seen Kata Sparker, I've seen Lisa Leslie, so whatever. But Chicago. So first and foremost with Chicago. Chicago, the only thing about Chicago, it's like they ran off a lot of players, great players. Skylar Diggins is not with the shits. She's not with the shits. She's not with the shits. So if they try to pull any type of BS, we will know. We will see. But you know what? Like that's who that's who you want.

I mean, to us, we'd be like, that doesn't matter, but yes, it does. And when it comes to season tickets, when it comes to Oh, and we we forgot to talk about Rakehackson with the trade. Oh, yes. Oh my gosh. No, they they've done their big one. They've done their own. Did the sky win free agents? They they've done their big one with it. They sure did.

I mean, with the roster that they get, if they come and play, I mean, they should be able to compete. I'm not gonna say nothing grand. Cause, you know, but I because you still have to do it.

I feel like I'm always kind of waiting for Camilla to have a breakout season because she's like 6'7, how tall is Camilla? Uh and I always get on, you know, and South Carolina fans know I always get on uh O'Connor about using her body, all that type of it. Like I just want Camilla to be in there and be a monster, beast in the paint. Getting them rebounds, snatching them.

And I think that Azura Stevens, with the way that she can play in that four spot, just like, you know, like as far as like a power forward move, like a I think that they can, she's gonna be good because she can still knock down shots. Camilla can own the paint, have the paint by herself. Um, so it's like when you think about that, and that's why like I talk about there's no point in doing a damn mock draft, because like we talk about needs. Like on the mock drafts that I've looked at, they've talked about Kiki Rice going to Chicago, but I'm like, you got Skylar. Courtney Vandersloop, we don't know the status of her as far as is she's coming back. Y'all, if y'all do know, let us know. Because I'll be honest, like, y'all, we've been transitioning. Like, like I said, we we need your help in the comments. Yes. So with that, you know, as far as a backup point guard with Skylar, it is Sloop, Skyler. That's too bad. Skylar been the league 11 years, Sloop been 15 years, but I mean, if I'm being honest, Sloot, Sloop's at the end of her career. Especially when we don't know how she's going to bounce back. So I'll say that point. We don't know how she's gonna bounce back as far as, you know, from an ACL injury. So I'm another point guard, yes. So that works. Um, I mean, great moves to Chicago. They had they had to do something, man. You still got Haley Van Lif. Man, Skylar Diggins, Camilla, Azura Stevens, you got Raskia Jackson in that starting lineup. Even, I mean, even Liz Elizabeth Williams. Like, I mean, they they made good moves. They've made good moves.

People talked about what them with People talked about them with defense, which I get that too, as far as defensively. But I think they're gonna be able to put up a whole bunch of points. Because you know, that's a team that be in foul trouble too, because John Quail a lot, John Quill will get in foul trouble. Sabrina, sometimes she has her problems when she's inconsistent. That's a whole lot of points. You got a lot of people on that squad who can come and get 30 at any given time. You got a defend you got a defender with Stewie. I I don't care when I argue with Stewie, Stewie's a defender. I know because I take her for fur fantasy points. Since it's a block and a steal. Okay. She about four of them a game. Either one, I don't know. Um, so I mean, I like that move. I like that move. Yeah, I'm not mad at that either. Um, I do. I like it a lot. So where does that leave Phoenix?
