Hard to beat the views at Bay Lake Tower.

You know, for some reason, Bay Lake Tower just doesn't quite get the love that the other DVC resorts get. But you know, I'm all about the view. And there's just something about watching the monorail come down the track, watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle, looking at Space Mountain, which looks huge from this angle. This Bay Lake Tower room is a studio with a theme park view. And as I follow this monorail into the iconic contemporary resort, which is still non-DVC rooms, there's so many cool things to look at in this hotel. I'll show you the room in just a moment because it may be one of those that you would love to stay in someday. The points per night are very reasonable. You get to see views like this of even my wife, who I've driven, she's not near the Disney fan that I am. Probably drove her crazy with it over the years. We've got a double monorail going on. The only other time that we stayed at Bayleck Tower, she was with me, and she said, Hey, I want to ride the monorail. So we did that. A lot of people stay in either Baileck Tower or Grand Floridian, which you can see across the way there, or Polynesian. I think I can see the corner of it if I move back to here. A lot of people like to monorail hop, they will go from resort to resort just to see the restaurants and the locations. Bay Lake Tower is, of course, a DVC property. You'll see here from the Pedway. The Pedway goes from floor five of the Bay Lake Tower over to floor four of the contemporary resort. All of the restaurants are on the contemporary resort. Bay Lake Tower does not have any of its own. And you know, when I was at Kidani, what was that four nights ago? Love the animal view there, even though it's the furthest resort away from the Magic Kingdom. When I was at Riviera, maybe my new favorite D BC resort, I love the Epcot fireworks view and all the fun stuff there. But when you get right down to views, being able to see Cinderella Castle, Space Mountain, Monorail, and the iconic contemporary, that's tough to beat, isn't it? We've got if we look back into the horizon, we'll see more. I think that might be the golf resort or whatever they're calling it now. Um, and it's a it's a beautiful place. Let's go look at I'll give you a little pepper's ghost here. That's the effect where you see my reflection in the window. That's pepper's ghost is the effect they use for the ballroom scene at the Haunted Mansion. I had the pleasure of going to a Keys to the Kingdom tour today. We got to go to the Haunted Mansion, so a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff. Here's your Murphy bed. It's it's pretty standard, although I just came from Rivy Era, and I really like that room a lot better. Even this hallway seems narrow right here. But you've got your Murphy bed, you've got your regular bed, so you can comfortably sleep for. There's a sitting couch right there. We've got the big mirrors, we've got the televisions, the Previgen commercial. I probably need that. And then it was so crazy today. We got soaked after the tour. So you'll see my dry clothes hanging all over the place trying to get them dry, but didn't get to write anything else because half of the things were closed. Here's your kitchen area Baileck Tower in the studio that set up a little bit differently. It's kind of cozy in here. You do have the double type of Keurig coffee maker where you can make a whole pot of coffee or just one cup at a time. Microwave, you do have some glassware, and you have your regular tub sink, tub sink, tub shower combo. They do have a lot of nice artwork here. I'm kind of a nostalgia guy, so I like seeing pictures of the old, there's one of Roy Disney, and a lot of good pictures, but this is your Bay Lake Tower studio. Not bad. Took me about five minutes to walk over on the Pedway and get me something to eat and come back. And it's the end of the trip. Going home tomorrow. Had a little bit of rain every day. In fact, they had a lot of rain every day, and it rained more today. It's been raining since noon, and it's still raining. You can maybe see the people down there still in their ponchos. But great day, great week. Hope it's convinced you that there's a little bit of good in every DVC resort. Just depends on what you like, but I'm all about the view.
