So we're doing a we've done a team of flops. A team of floppy discs.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Are you are you okay?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's just the way you said it. Just we're doing a team of flops.
SPEAKER_01That's what we're doing.
SPEAKER_02Floppy discs.
SPEAKER_01Flop a team of floppy discs. Yeah. A team of lazy lobons.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, poor bastards. Right. Couldn't get it up for the boys.
SPEAKER_01Tried, some of them tried.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, some of them did. Yeah, so um I think best to do this is just reel 'em off.
SPEAKER_01No, I think we go play for player.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you want to go play for player?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because we reel them off, you can forget about it. Some of them discuss it. Just because I might say one that you go, not really a flop though, we can discuss it. Yeah, yeah. If I go ba ba-ba-ba, you get lost in it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, alright, um, I'll go first with mine, goalkeeper.
SPEAKER_01Goalkeeper.
SPEAKER_02Roy Carroll. Okay. Derby County, especially, because he we all know what happened that season, he was there. Okay. And every time I can picture him of a player for United, or whenever he's in goal, he's just always got he's always got a fucking blunder in him.
SPEAKER_01Or you you've instantly I think of uh Pedro Mendes when he it was Pedro Mendes, wasn't it, from Tottenham halfway night, and he caught it.
SPEAKER_02And he went hooked it.
SPEAKER_01I think it was pretty sure it was Pedro Mendes.
SPEAKER_02I thought it was Robbie Keane, but I think it is Pedro Mendes.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what could be somebody else, but it was definitely Tottenham.
SPEAKER_02100% it was Tottenham. But yeah, Roy Car Roy Carroll. I mean, he's uh just think of blunders. So yeah, he's for me. I know you've got like Anana and that like Anana's the obvious one, but it's so obvious, ain't it? I'm I'm trying to think of more obscure ones as well with that. But yeah, I think Roy Roy Carroll for me.
SPEAKER_01I've gone uh Keppa for Chelsea.
SPEAKER_02Just Kepa. He'd done well at Bournemouth.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but the a lot of the most expensive goalkeeper, still on PlayStation.
SPEAKER_02But if you've got a price thing like that, you've got to fucking live up to it anyway. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01He didn't, you know, and he got sold for five. I think he went Bournemouth for five mil. Pretty sure it was like five mil.
SPEAKER_02I don't know if it was a loan. I don't know loan for five mil.
SPEAKER_01Or he's got he's gone somewhere for five mil. I don't know if Arsenal signed for five mil.
SPEAKER_02Probably Arsenal. I know it was loan for Bournemouth.
SPEAKER_01But um, yeah, just uh the whole the whole shit with the League Cup final with him going waving I don't coming off, I'm not coming off, and then them losing on penalties, yeah, that's where it was they wanted to bring on Willie What's his face because he could he's apparently a good penalty saver.
SPEAKER_02Talking about flops, excuse the pun. Yeah, Willie Cam Camber Cam Bavera, yeah, Baldi. Yeah, yeah. Nothing against Baldies, by the way. We love the Baldies. But yeah, that's nowhere don't care.
SPEAKER_01I've seen some bold person say that they were down on TikTok. You think it's like your man? Yeah, he was walking around, some geezer walks around off topic. Some geezer walking around with a microphone, he's got some bold page, and he's like, What did you think about being bold? What don't care. And some geezer went, nowhere I don't care.
SPEAKER_02Fairs yeah, I can see the the Keppel one because of the price tag, to be fair.
SPEAKER_01That's it, he's a flop. You can't be you can still still the most expensive. I'm pretty sure he's still the most expensive. It was fucking expensive, stupid at the time as well. I've never heard of him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I never either. And he had a couple of blunders in him as well. Yeah, right. Defenders, right, right back, right? We both suffered, both struggled with the fullbacks especially, yeah. I don't know why. But this one, I thought about it earlier, I thought, yeah. Right, so when they went down Aston Villa, they bought Mika Richards. Mika Richards.
SPEAKER_01Shout.
SPEAKER_02And I tell you what, I'd Do you not remember that?
SPEAKER_01Edda. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Do you remember as well they got knocked out of the FA Cup and he um there was he was arguing with the fans. There was a video going round with him arguing with the Villa fans outside and that, and they were saying, Oh, you're meant to be our expense, most expensive player, you're fucking meant to be doing this, and he was like, Oh, I don't know what you want me to do, basically. And he's just started, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Have you seen the video of him that him and Gary Linhar as well? Him, yeah. Yeah, because he's seen him pull it back and then like, what about this? Joint, yeah. And there was another one. You see him they did Wayne Roo the uh they did analysis on Wayne Rooney's overhead kick, and they were like, What are you doing then, Miko Rich? He's like, Look at the watch, watch with the ball, you're out of position. He was like, No, put it back, watch, put it back, and put it back, and he looks at it, he's like, Oh yeah, I was massively out of position.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he burst on the scene, but he he didn't do very well. He done okay for Man City in his first year or so, but then when he went to Villa, they got offered, yeah.
SPEAKER_01He went to Villa, didn't he? That he offered like 100 grand a week, yeah. But he didn't want to be his ability another turn, yeah, yeah, mental, innit?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but yeah, for what he did at um Aston Villa, he fucking completely flapped considering he burst on the scene. I do love Mika Richards though, honest to God. Big meek friend of the pad. Is he? Is he fuck? Is he? But nah, I think. Yeah, right back Mika Richards.
SPEAKER_01Oh, well, I struggled as well, so I just went close to home uh and I went surgery.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. He just went from Leon or something like that, was it? I can't even remember.
SPEAKER_01I um I just remember any ever any time he got the ball or any time someone attacked him in the box, he's back to the box. My arse off my arm, he was penalty, it's all penalty. He was so error prone. Yeah, he was just shit. I don't know if he was so much of a flop, but I just couldn't think of anybody, so I just thought who was he only lasted a season or so, didn't he? Emerson Royale could have had him as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, his right back position hasn't been the best. Nah. Um recently, yeah, to be fair.
SPEAKER_01Pedro Porro Porro's been okay, but nothing spectacular. Yeah, I feel like he had potential to be very good, boys.
SPEAKER_02Just fucking I'm gonna say my two centre backs, and then you say your two. Imagine if you've got the same ones. I doubt it. Mine really flops per se, they're more fuck-ups.
SPEAKER_01So mine, before we go into it, I've got two, and I like the stories for both of them. That's why I've got him.
SPEAKER_02Okay, right. So my first one is Tortoise Bramble. Yeah, shit. He was just fucking wank. Newcastle paid quite a bit of money as well for him.
SPEAKER_01I'm not gonna be able to not focus on that.
SPEAKER_02My bad, I've got a bad uh habit of picking. Um, yeah, so I lost my foot. Tortous Bramble. Yeah, Tortoise Bramble. I think with Newcastle, uh they even say to this day, he's probably one of the things. He was a donkey, wasn't he? Yeah, he was just so fucking laxidated as well. Even when he was at Sundan, Wigan, I remember him being an absolute pony for Wigan as well. Yeah, yeah. I don't know how he must have been.
SPEAKER_01As soon as you said last year, as soon as you mentioned him, I instantly saw him in a Wigan kit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, completely missed kicking the ball all the time. And then I've gone with mainly because of his own goals and his red cards, contributions to the Premier League, Richard Dunn. Okay, and then when he was at Villa as well, again, he was fucking shocked.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't think he was much of a flop. I get what you're saying that he weren't that much of a red. I get what you're saying, but in in a team of flops has got like over 600 career appearances, and you put him as flops because he scored a few O goals and a couple of red cards.
SPEAKER_02Put Carigo win there with him then. That's got yeah, that's not a bad shout. But Carigo didn't really flop, do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01No, but they both got the same amount of games. Yeah, they both got both scored the same amount of O goals.
SPEAKER_02Fernando Torres per se, he had quite a few appearances and flopped to Chelsea. But yeah, them two, I've I just struggled with centre backs because my head couldn't I wanted to do it off of my personal.
SPEAKER_01No, that's fine, that's fine. Uh so I went with mine, uh Igor Steppenhos.
SPEAKER_02Do you want to tell this?
SPEAKER_01The story, yeah. I've got it from the of I've probably heard it from different places. I'll got it from Bray Parla. I fucking love that story. The magic sponge. And he says that they go there and he's got this Latvian and he's on loan a pre-season, and Martin Kehn is so insecure, and it's him, Parla, Burkamp, and um Martin Kehn. And this is Steppin's, and he's like, This is shit, he's shit. So to wind him up, every time he did like he plays like a normal five-yard pass, and Kehn and Parlour and Burkamp were going, it's so good, so good. Fucking brilliant. And Keon goes, shit, he's shit. And they didn't realise that Vengel was listening to what they were saying, took on board and he said he walked in. He said he was brilliant. Parler, he's like, he walked in, he's like he was like bore out. He's walked in. He's been that is that big class.
SPEAKER_02I remember I remember hearing that and him saying something about um Dennis Burkham won the 50 quick because that's when Kewn bit. And then uh they played a game against Man United and he started. Do you want your control where the fuck did you get in from? I think he scored hat trick and he was he said to no no, like four-nil down, four nil down after one, sorry. Something like that. And he went, Where the fuck did you get in from? Ray probably went, It's a long story, mate. Where the fuck did you get in from? Fucking long story, what a great one.
SPEAKER_01And then um the other one is uh might I butcher this name. Now I don't I only know the story of this player, and he was a flop, but I don't I don't remember him playing per se. And it was uh Bogarde for Chelsea. Bogarde, Bogarde, Bogarde. Bogard, yeah. Yeah, so he was meant to be this big money signing, like a marquee player. Come in, he was on stupid wages as well. Come in, didn't didn't do well, only ended up playing like he had a four-year career out there at Chelsea, finished his career there. Four years, then bad, you know. Four years, no, but he only played 15 times. Okay. Come apparently he was shit, but he and they wanted to move him on, but because he was on such good money, he refused and he was I'll just play out my days in the reserve then. Fares. Yeah, but he he did flop the air, but I just love the fact that he was just like, nah, I'm just gonna see the sides of my retirement. Yeah, because of four years fifteen appearances over four years.
SPEAKER_02Four years at Chelsea equates to 30 years, 40 years in. No, this is yeah, but this is like 2000. Yeah, he'd probably be on about what, 15 grand a week? 2000 to 2004. Let's say 20 grand a week. That's still fucking good, mate.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, imagine how much that is per game. Fucking hell, they they've got just yeah, just turn around and it was like shit, couldn't keep up with him. So he did he did essentially flop, and when they've gone there's we want to try want to try and sell you, he's turned around and gone, no. Do you know what? I'm gonna stay and see my contract at and Chelsea had to honour it, so he had to stay, he never played and just saw his contract.
SPEAKER_02That's the problem, ain't it? If you give him a contract like that, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I'm gonna go first because you I had a left back.
SPEAKER_02Go on, I have got a left back now, but so I went for his time at Liverpool, Paul Konchelski. Ooh, shout. I liked him at the Hammers though. I thought he was Cholton, he was good at Cholton, yeah, he was good all right, but at Liverpool he was no, he didn't do well at all, man. He was shoyed. It's it's that step up, ain't it? And it all it reflects on what I'm about to say.
SPEAKER_01Some players are some players are just a mid-table footballer, which to be fair. It's I'm not gonna be.
SPEAKER_02Danny Murphy was a great Steve Sidwell, great, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Not knocking anything because obviously you've still got to be exceptionally talented to be a mid-table Premier League footballer. So that's not knocking, and that sounds like such a It's a different mentality, I think. Well, who was it? Someone said that um at Liverpool, I think it was Crouchy, said that when he went to Liverpool, the first training session, Gerard packing ball power back, yeah, and he was like, You've got to get on this. And I think someone smashed him, and Gerard was like, You need this this is it now, this is the standard, you need to up. Yeah, yeah. Jimmy Bullard said the same thing. He said that I think he said Wigan's first game was against Liverpool, and he's used to playing the championship and have so much room, so much time. And he says, and he picked the ball up and he said within half a second, Gerard just fucking smashed straight through it. He says just different, just different league.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's that brings me on to mine. So I went with Kirkes again. Yeah, that same sort of thing, that level up. I don't think he's got it. I know he's starting to play a little bit better now, but he's not what everyone made him out to be, and I don't think he's gonna succeed at Liverpool. I really don't.
SPEAKER_01He it he did sort, he did he balanced himself out, he did sort, but he's just dropped off in there.
SPEAKER_02I just I think for what they've paid and they've got to be. They've defence been so bad. And just look where they are now.
SPEAKER_01I mean, they they got rid of the Kanate's not Kanate's just looking poor, isn't he? Van Dogg I'm sorry, I know everyone's gonna turn around and say he's the best centre back in the world. I've not seen it for a couple of years. No, I think the comparison, I'll say it again, I think that's working, man. I think the comparisons to I I don't need he's 100% not the best in the Premier League. He's 100%, one million percent not better than Ferdinand, Vidic or Terry. He's not. He couldn't even tie their boots. He's not, right? So I'm not saying he's not. Is he top ten? Possibly, yeah, right, but he's not when people go, oh he's one of the best. No, he's not, right? And you're clinging on to it. I mean he's playing a little bit better now, but nevertheless, he's still done. He's old. He's welln't old, but he's he's he's not top level defender no more. Nah. And if you want to go for the whole thing. Do you know what? It's it says uh they said this on pitch side, and I thought, fair, do you know what, fair fucks? It says a lot when they're really missing Trent. Oh yeah, it's mad, ain't it?
SPEAKER_02It's mental. And everyone said about how badly was it defending? Yeah. I think it allowed them to be put further up the field, which give Van Dijk more room. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01So I'm not taking Van Dyke's a very good footballer. Yeah, 100%. But it's not this. I'll just I've done this parent. No, exactly. Thank you. He ain't he shouldn't be on that pedestal at all. I'm sure Chris will tell me because Chris listens, I'm sure Chris will have something to say about that.
SPEAKER_02Well, do you want to go? I've gone midfielders, but I haven't got an actual set right midfield. I've just got four footers I've just gone four midfielders, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll let you take the reins.
SPEAKER_01So uh uh I've gone Alexis Sanchez at United. I know it's a bit of an obvious one.
SPEAKER_02Do you know what, mate? I'm so close to having him. I know it's an obvious one. So close, but I don't I don't know. I thought it was just so bad.
SPEAKER_01Do you know what? I just how good he was at Arsenal, how good he was at Barcel, Arsenal, and then you're not. He's just and he's he's that's it, he's just fucking.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he had a fucking shot card then.
SPEAKER_01And he's not got any better. And do you know what you can't even see? He's ruined his career. Some people flop at teams, then Diego Forlan is a good one. I like to think because Diego Forlan was shitty United, and then he went to Villarreal and he was fucking class. Then he went to Inter Milan and he flopped, and then he went to Atletico Madrid and he was class again. Some people go up and down. Yeah, I think Alexis Anchez uh flopped United and he ain't recovered.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, some people they they need to be cuddled at clubs, I think. And I think with him, when he went through the doors, he was number one. So wherever he succeeded, he was basically said, right, he went for money in the shore zone. Yeah, I know. But I think when he was at Madrid, he was like the main striker. When he was at Barça, he was at the main striker. Um, I'm on about uh Diego when he went to Athletic Madrid, yeah. He was the main striker. When he was at Villarreal, main striker, Man United, he uh he weren't really like so many around him. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Some players talk about Athletica Madrid. I'm not talking about Alex Sanchez.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, what I'm saying is some players, I'm still using his example, sorry, they need to have that free for all, you can do what you want, you haven't got someone breathing down your bat. But with Sanchez, he came from Arsenal, number one, he was fucking loved, do you know what I mean? To go there and flop the way he flopped and and spoke about really as bad as what he is.
SPEAKER_01I think he That's he was Jordan after a night out floppy.
SPEAKER_02He was supposed to mean what's that supposed to mean? I'm floppy after a night out of clouds, it's yeah that's uh I I was gonna put him in, but I think just because of the Arsenal thing, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but uh yeah, but just because that's the whole point. You weren't I'd specifically said at certain clubs, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah one of mine was um in Dombalay for Tottenham.
SPEAKER_01I've got him as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, uh it's I think he's transferred the hype around him, he was meant to be really fucking good.
SPEAKER_01Just let him go for free to get rid of him there. I don't even know what he's doing. I couldn't tell you where he's at. I'm pretty sure he went to from us he might have gone to Leon or maybe Turkey.
SPEAKER_02I think Turkey, if anything. But yeah, in Dunbalay, he had all that hype around him. I think he done I didn't he score on his debut or something. He'd done something really well on his debut, and everyone was thinking, yeah, he city scores a real deal, and then that was it, just completely went missing. Pretty sure he got fat as well. Probably. Yeah, in Dunberry, and then um so you got in Dunberry as well. I went with Jack Rodwell.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_02Do you remember him? Sunderland to city. So he went from Blackburn to Man City. Oh, sorry, he went from City to Sunderland, and then from City when he went to Sunderland the year they got relegated, he was on something like 70 grand a week, and then kind of similar story to your man, Bogard. They wanted him gone, and he was like, I've got a five-year, four-year contract. I think once his contract was done, he thought he was meant to be star boy. Yeah, he was, weren't he? People talk about him in the England and everything, and then it was like from Man City to go to Sunderland.
SPEAKER_01This is the problem, uh he was at Everton and he was doing really about Everton, and sometimes the step up to the bigger. That was it, I thought it was Blackburn. The step was at Burn. The step up to Man City, he's just he didn't.
SPEAKER_02So he never had that mentality team in him as well. And then when he stepped down to Sunderland, they got relegated. Ross Barclays another one. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, we couldn't do it at uh Chelsea really, could he?
SPEAKER_01But he was bossing it at Everton.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he's not doing too bad when it loot him.
SPEAKER_01Well, here we go. So sorry, so he's at Nice at the moment.
SPEAKER_02Endomalai. Did he go to Turkey?
SPEAKER_01Uh oh, here we go. He went Leon tournament, he went back to Leon on loan, then to Napoli on loan, then to Galapitazaro on loan, and then Nice in the 24th.
SPEAKER_02I don't really care.
SPEAKER_01No, neither do I. He could have fucking titled all on him.
SPEAKER_02So we've got House and you're underlying, I agree with that.
SPEAKER_01Um the midfield, I went back a bit, but I do remember this player, and I do remember him being very good, and then I do remember him being very bad for two Premier League teams, and that is Juan Sebastian Veron. Wow, Manuel and Chelsea.
SPEAKER_02He was so good. Didn't he come from big money? Where does he come from? Was it Italy or something?
SPEAKER_01No, you know it was, yeah. Parma. Parma Lazio. He was at Parma and then he went to Lazia and then and then United. Yeah, he was he was there. Yeah, I kinda remember bits of him. There was so much hype around him, and he never lived up to that hype. And then when Chelsea come in with all their when Abramovich came in and Peter Kenyon went to Man uh to Chelsea, Veron was one of the signings, and he went to Chelsea and he just didn't do well there either.
SPEAKER_02Fucking hell, I suppose him Viron, yeah. Argentinian he. Yeah, that's a good shout. I wouldn't have even thought that one.
SPEAKER_01And I'm and and I remember him as well. That was a good one. Yeah, I remember bits of that. That's not me being like, oh yeah, I'm gonna go.
SPEAKER_02And then it was, yeah, that yeah. Yeah, that's a good shout, man. I went with for my last was that your last mid film? No, I've got one more. My last one, Arsenal paid a hefty fucking amount of money for him. Tom's party. And they fucked him off I think. Oh, what's his name?
SPEAKER_01Hold on, let me Oh no. He went to Yeah, fuck.
SPEAKER_02He's French.
SPEAKER_01Yes, hold on.
SPEAKER_02And apparently he's dating a transvestite at one point when he left to go.
SPEAKER_01Was it Villera Real he went to? Say his name. Pepe. Pepe.
SPEAKER_02El Pepe. Pepe, Pepe. Yeah, it was a fucking side. That's a shout. Yeah, a lot of money.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a shout that is. He went to shout out. I could see his face. I could see his face.
SPEAKER_02That was a big flap. I remember.
SPEAKER_01They let him go for free, didn't they? I'm sure they did.
SPEAKER_02They let him go for free in the end, I think. Yeah, because they couldn't get rid of him. He was that shit, they literally just could not get rid of him. But yeah, then Pepe Pepe man, I remember, but that's recent times as well. Do you know what I mean? So yeah, I had Pepe.
SPEAKER_01My other one is a bit of an obvious one. Again. But uh I couldn't get past it because of how good he was. Di Maria. Mmm. Yeah, that's what I'm like.
SPEAKER_02Sorry, sorry, at just at United. I think he hated the fans as well. He hated everything about it.
SPEAKER_01Did you see that bear thing and he fucking Or is it just the fact that you just can't cut the Premier League, so it's an excuse?
SPEAKER_02A lot of players can't do it to be fair.
SPEAKER_01Or we he misses all we don't know the weather.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he had he had excuses. Fuck the fuck off on holiday. He had excuses from day one, didn't he, Dimmera? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And don't get me wrong, then he went, he left and he went to PSG and he was classed PSG. Yeah, it's massive. Even doing it at Benfica. Doing really well. But at Man at Manchester United.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he flopped. Shh flopped so hard. Dimurer is a good shout. It's hard when it when the when when you see a player so good, when you say the name in the some of the your biggest flops of the Premier League, it's mad to think that he's even in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh man. Well, I had two strokers now. I've been looking forward to it.
SPEAKER_01Real reel them off, real off strokers. You think we've got to be a little bit more than that.
SPEAKER_02So you said we ain't gonna have the same. No. Right. We have got this one.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02Shevchenko.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, Shevchenko. I knew we had one.
SPEAKER_02I knew we had that one. It's gotta be Ballandor winner to come to Chelsea and just fuck up.
SPEAKER_01I fucking love Chevchenko while I did it as a kid. So good. I loved it. I think everyone had a fake. No, I had the real one.
SPEAKER_02Oh no.
SPEAKER_01The black and the black and red one. Black and red faded, yeah. Yeah, my mum, my mum had to mum made a point, she got me for Christmas, and she made a point how how hard it was to get. Because it's not like nowadays where you can just go into like all that, or you you can even go into a uh I wasn't even said JJB then. Um fucking hell. Shout out them out. You go into like a sports director or anything, and you got multiple football shows, you can get a Brown Madrid show, like you couldn't just get him, so mum had to go into a a sports director and eating and had to speak to the geezer and the geezer had to order it in specially.
SPEAKER_02That's fucking mental. It's a shame. Didn't he win it previous year? The Ballon d'Or.
SPEAKER_012004 he won the Ballon d'Or. And he went in 2006. 2006, seven, yeah, he went.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because it was the 30 million, which was a lot of money. It was when they bought fuckloads of players coming in for the door, wouldn't it? Yeah, fuck it's such a shame. Such a shame. I've never seen a striker come in and just do so bad for that status. Oh no. Do you know what I mean? It's just mental. And then the second striker we definitely haven't got.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I'd be amazed if we haven't.
SPEAKER_02So I went with Joe.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Man City's Joe. The Brazilian.
SPEAKER_02Fucking he was kind of the same, coming for a big fee. Uh I think it was Chatar Daneska, I think he came from. Yeah. And I think he scored like four goals or something in his first season, and I just loaned him out to Everton and he For Man City at the time. Just picture big afro big afro hair. I thought I could I couldn't wait till because I was proper invested in Man City when they started bringing all these players in, like Alana, Petrov. I was all on board for Man City. I used to love watching. Rabino going to the wrong hair man. Honestly, I fucking I remember being so fantasy. Fantasized that the word?
SPEAKER_01Mesmeroz.
SPEAKER_02Mesmerose, thank you. By all these players coming in, and I got so gassed when he got through the door, I was thinking, oh Brazilian, gonna tear it up. Rabino's there as well. I was thinking fucking hell he shit. Do you know what as well? He reminded me of Julinton when he played for Newcastle up front when they bought him as a striker. Okay. And then obviously they dropped him back into midfield and he started playing football. But he just completely fucking he was woeful. Absolutely woeful. That's what it was.
SPEAKER_01So mine last one is another player that played for both. I'll see if he can get this one. Okay. He's another player that played for both Manchester United and Chelsea.
SPEAKER_02Striker. Flopped. Manchester United and Chelsea striker. Flopped at both clubs.
SPEAKER_01Big time. Big flop this was a big floppy disc. Um very good before. Very good.
SPEAKER_02What's his nationality?
SPEAKER_01If I give you that, you're gonna get it. Colombian, I think.
SPEAKER_02Colombian. Falcau.
SPEAKER_01Ramadal Falcão. Shit. Full season of both teams, scored two goals for one.
SPEAKER_02Was it Monaco he came from to go to yeah?
SPEAKER_01So he went to Porto and he was unreal. Atletico Madrid. No, so he went to Porto, Atletico Madrid. And then do you remember Monaco went for a little thing? They're one of these teams, the Russian billionaires coming at bought them, and they signed a few players. Falca was one of them that they signed.
SPEAKER_02He was still good for it. I just remembered him being really fucking good with his head.
SPEAKER_01Man United, I think I'm pretty sure Man United paid like 13 million for a loan for him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think they did.
SPEAKER_01And they he scored like three goals.
SPEAKER_02Then Chelsea had him, and it was like and he was just as just as bad. Yeah, just as bad. Fuck me, yeah. Falcau forgot even played for Chelsea.
SPEAKER_01And then he's just fucking banded around and he and he's he's another one that's just never recovered from that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah and he was so good.
SPEAKER_01There's a lot of players that he was so good for Atletico Madrid, especially.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was like a little power. He reminded me of uh the other one who played for the United, the Uruguayan um Cavani. Yeah, he reminded me a bit like him Falcow. Cavani did it, right? Yeah Caval yeah, Cavani done not too bad. I remember that guy scored from the half-wild.
SPEAKER_01I feel like Cavani's broke the United number seven curse.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Do you reckon it's a curse? 100%. Well like the Chelsea's number nine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you gotta think since since Ronaldo left, Mark Lewin, uh I think who's number seven now? DePye.
SPEAKER_02Um Mason Mount Martial seven for a bit, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_01Mason no Mason Mount.
SPEAKER_02Mason Mount seven, yeah, he's fell off the road up. He could have been a flat.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he could have hadn't really done much.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's a shout-out. Did you have a manager? Because I haven't, but I could probably think of a few managers off the top of my head.
SPEAKER_01Uh if I had to go for one, I would probably I did think Ange at Knott's but I think I'd go Frank DeBur for Crystal Palace.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, Frank De Bourbon. Or Bob or Bob Bradley. Bob Bradley for Swansea was a fucking shocker. Yeah. Yeah. I I I think if I was to say one, I'd say probably Ange. I think he lost seven games, didn't he?
SPEAKER_01I know I think he was there for eight and he lost four Drew or lost. I think he got like two a couple of points.
SPEAKER_02Two two or three draws. Yeah. It's a shame. He done well for you as well.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He done well.
