One Piece's manga has officially surpassed 600 million copies in circulation worldwide after 28 years outpacing Superman's equivalent milestone achieved over 88 years, as verified by recent announcements.

I I I seen I seen I didn't see no videos, but I seen like the um some posts where people are like, okay, well, we have to assume it's somewhere off the coast of Japan because he and then they're like trying to break down like the from the videos, like the the waves, how the current was, and then the the angle of the video. So they they work they working at it. They can do all the hard work. Yeah, right. But um it's interesting. Oda's Oda's a funny guy. He he does uh little quirky stuff like that to that really I think as fans we we really enjoy it, but it's it's it's just funny because it's he stands out with with certain things like that as a monoka.

I know you I know you you a little tired of the Demon Slayer stuff because you're not you know hit to it, but you can't deny Saturn. Saturn Awards. I'm I've seen this multiple times in my news feed. So I assume they're they're they're they're somewhat known. But I mean I don't really know any of the besides like role awards and stuff, but salute to them. Um I hope this recognition just sparks other franchises to continue to take this route.

In the in in the movies, yeah. And and and I became uh a stronger Demon Slayer fan, more of late of the later seasons. Um the last season was the trainer art, which it was cool, but it wasn't like too too much action. Um but propelling into the movie. The movie was anticipated, lived up to the height, and it set the stage for part two very well. So I've been ever since I really went to go see the movie, that's when I was like, okay, we got something here. But I've always liked uh like I got Akaza tap on my leg, like I've always liked Akaza and stuff. I've liked different aspects of Demon Slayer. Yeah. I mean it's not even I don't know where I I would rank it. Personally, it's not it came out really good.

Um yeah, shout out to Demon Slayer. Kohei Tanaka, longtime composer for One Piece, says he created a large batch of brand new music specifically for Elbath and poured everything into it. He even teased Loki's theme, promising something grand in scale and epic and atmosphere. I'm not gonna lie, it seems like everybody's all in for Elbath, and I love it.

But I think this break was needed, especially animation-wise. Yeah, facts. And this like, yeah, when Ja was originally watching, we were stuck on hiatus. Yeah. Yeah, man. That was I mean, it was it was smooth because it gave Ja the time to catch up. And I low-key wish I re-watched in that time span. I was watching so much at that time though. Yeah, interesting. Um, the author of Inuyasha has publicly shared her perspective on the role of AI in creating work, drawing a clear distinction between AI output and human-driven manga creation. She states that AI as a system learns from what already exists, while true manga is defined by the act of creating something that did not exist before. She emphasized that storytelling and artistic expression are shaped by human emotion, intention, and lived experience elements that cannot be replicated through data-driven generation. I'm not gonna lie, I I've been trying to, I know we've been talking about AI a lot in these world news and and a lot of these creators and uh authors and artists that have been discussing their stance on it, but this was probably the most well said one yeah, she might really laid it out there. Yeah. Um I've never been like on the side of AI in that aspect, but if there was any type of division about stances on it, this should should clear things up.

And the way she put it to where it's just taking all stuff from what already exists, because that's what AI, AI doesn't have an original thought, it just is able to research everything very quickly and give you the best thing off of that. So it's gonna have some sort of elements from different things, whereas even if people do something along those lines, but it's more so inspired by something, but it's still original, it's still creative from a human element side, because you're able to put a real life experience into it, you're able to put a real emotion into it.

Um I don't know if you you seen the messages at the time, but having this conversation with a few of our friends about AI as a whole and just the idea of we uh in our mid-20s are we kind of got to experience every stage of technology thus far, like up until now. Once technology really started booming in the in the early 2000s, like obviously there was phones and stuff, TVs, movies, but like once yeah, once technology really took that leap, we experienced every part of it. We've seen we've seen you know the evolution of a cell phone, we've seen the evolution of TVs, and how quickly AI has hopped on the scene and taken over is quicker than anything that we've we've seen thus far. And how great the leap is, bro. I remember the first phone my parents gave me at for like emergencies was like like it wasn't even like a foot phone, but it was like a just a small little brick slide up, you had to hold the the the red button to power it on and stuff, bro. And it's like now I got cell phones everywhere, bro. And it's it's like and any one of any one of these things I could do whatever, bro. A lot and just how quickly that's been and and and the timeline of you know technology as a whole to AI coming on the scene a couple years ago, and to I mean, obviously, it's been around for probably the past ten years, we'll say. But like it's just been a very small, unaccessible thing. Now ever anyone can access it in the palm of your hands and almost do whatever with it, techn technology-wise. I don't think it's I don't think it's gonna stop, bro.

The only way I think it would stop is if it's which I really don't think because we already do this as a world, but the amount of resources that go into AI is just out of this world, and the only way I could see at stopping is if we drive ourselves into a corner to where we're like using our last resources on it, and we're just like, okay, AI has to has to stop because we can't fuel it anymore.

I don't want to get too too far off topic, but um I have been like just learning more about the full extent of AI, and don't though I do think in some uses it can be a power power power, I don't not power tool, but powerful tool for any aspect of technology. I think how easy of an access that has become, I think it should just be limited to certain things. I don't think it should anybody we should be.

Luffy and Loki then move the injured civilians and children to their safety near Jarul. The battlefield begins to stabilize as the Straw Hats and Giants regroup. Ja Rule explains the truth about Prince Loki's devil fruit. The name? The Dragon Dragon Fruit, mythical Zoe model Needhogger. The fruit transforms the user into a gigantic black dragon. The dragon size depends on the size of the user. If a human has it, it will be a large dragon. If a giant has it, it'll be a pretty enormous dragon. And if the ancient giant has it, it'll be a world-ending size dragon. Jerule explains an ancient legend. A god of war giant once wielded this fruit. He used a legendary hammer called Ragnar. The warrior clashed with the sun god Nika in the distant past. The hammer is said to contain the spirit of Radatas Radataskar the Ice Squirrel that protected the fruit for generations. And um the praise that Luffy gives uh Zoro. That's I love that with the Dawn Thor rifle. This is also the move, well, not the same move, but uh evolved from the move that he used on Saturn on Egghead. Dawn Thor or Dawn Rifle, but with the fire, I think that was the one it had last time. But Luffy grabbing the uh the lightning bolt out the sky, I know they're gonna go stupid with the animation on that dude. It's gonna go and the the fucking the scope thing, scope the scope in the animation.

I I really liked just the aspect of um the just the connection and the growth between Zoro and Luffy and how they're kind of we seen in the beginning of the chapter he didn't even have to like finish. And then now um, you know, he pretty much they pretty much pass off the kids, and Zoro's just like, all right, now y'all going to do that. And it's just kind of flowing so naturally and so so smoothly here, and it's just what you expect from a Yanko and his first commander. And seeing the way that Luffy was just able to step in and and just it just shows the the the real the real strength of a Yanko, bruh, and like the the heights that Luffy's climb to.

Zoro's always been the one who's like, I'm not gonna let the innocent and the weak be hurt in front of me. But if it's if if they got strength, they gotta fight. Like he's like, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna not let you.

Nami and Zoo attempt to put out the flames, but a dream monster ends up defeating Zeus. Lilith and Frankie arrive at the school. Lilith uses a machine to extinguish the fire and freeze the buildings. She converts the energy from the fire into super vega cola for Frankie. Using the Super Vega Cola, Frankie becomes significantly stronger. He teams up with Jinbei to fight the dream monsters. Killing him insults Jinbei for being a fish man, saying he's glad he wears a helmet so he doesn't breathe the same air. Sanji immediately responds by kicking, killing him so hard that the helmet shatters. Dorian Braggie briefly regain control of themselves despite being under the influence of Domi Reversi. They decide to kill each other rather than fight the enemy. Or fight for the enemy. When they attempt to kill each other, the Domi Reversi control suddenly disappears. This hints that the control may be broken under certain conditions. The chapter ends with Dory, Bragg, Hasruddin, Stanson, and Zoro getting ready to take out the remainder of the Domi Reverse Giants.

But I've always thought that he's gonna take more of the science route, like once he because he's always been inspired by Vegapunk and his creations and stuff. So once I I kind of had an idea, but I didn't see an upscale coming or like a power-up specifically coming to Frankie. I just thought he was gonna always had that lingering feeling that he was gonna take a scientific route and kind of incorporate that into improving the the strength of the crew. This what we see in this chapter, hey, hopefully it could be used like because this could be this type of technology in in Frankie's hands could be a game changer. It could boost him on the on the list in straw hat rankings. He's not gonna reach the the you know the monster trio or do we or them, but like he can be right there, right back to D May.
