Yo, what's good, what's good, what's good. I know y'all aren't expecting this on a Wednesday, but here we are. Welcome to episode 22 of the Poneglyph Podcast, where we decode the world of One Piece and Anime, one Poneglyph at a time. I'm your host, J aka Nuke Way J, here with my brother, my co-host Ja.

SPEAKER_02

What's up, y'all? Welcome back.

SPEAKER_03

Man, welcome back, welcome back. We got a lot to talk about this episode, and I'm excited to be here. How you feeling? Talk to us. We got a lit out chapter. I'm lit. Yep, yep. Real good chapter. Um, got some good world news to talk about. So, like I said, we will be recovering anime world news in this episode, and we will also be covering chapter 1177 of One Piece, the latest manga chapter. So, really a lot to talk about. I'm I'm definitely excited for this.

SPEAKER_04

Um, like we have difficulty. Okay, it it looks better to me on my end.

SPEAKER_03

And everything seems to be holding up. If things do mess up on the live stream, we'll still have everything recorded and good to go on the audio side as well. So we won't let that trip us up, but it seems to be holding just a little lag spike that came through. Um but yes, chapter 1177, and we got some anime world news to talk about. I'm excited to be here. And yeah, expect us a little bit more from us for just for the time being. Just uh due to due to schedules clashing and stuff, like the typical Sunday stream is hard to get to. We will try to stream as much as we can on Sundays when we have the available time, but just be prepared for some flex days sometimes, some weeks, because we still want to get y'all the episodes, and at the end of the day, we will always have them the VODs out if y'all missed the live stream, and we will still be posting on audio platforms pretty much that same night or the next morning. Um, so don't worry too much about us missing too many weeks anymore. Because especially with the anime coming back, we don't want to get too stacked up on manga chapters and stuff, so we still want to want to be consistent with that, and we definitely don't want to get stacked up on episodes or anything. So, in order to keep our episodes intact, we're gonna have some flex days some weeks. So just expect to see us. Keep y'all that's that's why we got notification bells, right?

SPEAKER_02

Yep, hit that noti for us, please. And thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Sub up, hit the noti. And um, if y'all are listening to us on audio platforms, of course, turn the notifications on as well. So y'all just see when when we do upload. But nonetheless, excited to be here. If y'all are here with us live or checking us out on the vibe, make sure y'all smash that like button. Just help us get on the algorithm pages for the for the One Piece community and anime community. And if y'all are listening to us on audio platforms, make sure y'all leave us a five-star rating and a fire review so we can get back to y'all and spread the love. Spread the love. So, first things first, we're gonna tackle some anime world news before we get into the chapter. Um, let's dive straight into it. So, first things first, Ichiro Oda shares a very Oda-like message in that first episode on Netflix One Piece, Into the Grand Line podcast with Inaki Gadoi, which is the live action Luffy, and he says, I always tell people manga isn't a big deal, it's just a way to pass time. I want to become the king of wasting time. Oh my gosh. I'm not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_02

I think manga is a big deal, bro. That should mean something to me.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that that that's that's crazy. Don't let it mean more to us than you, Oda. Come on, now it's funny because I like hearing that because it's like, okay, waste as much time if you're gonna keep giving us peak like this, waste as much time as as you need. You know, I plan on living a long life. So as long as you do, Oda, let's keep this thing up. But we we do need to have an end at some point. We do need to have a at some point. That'll it just gotta we gotta have a nice bow on top for for this great uh story. But at the same time, I don't want you to get too like set in the ways of wasting time because then at that point it could potentially get just dragged. Yeah, yeah. And I don't know. I I I just there's already a lot of One Piece haters out there that talk about you know the length and and all that. So the more the further this goes out, you know, the more people are gonna talk about it. The real community, we we we don't want it to stop anytime soon. But also at the same time, I don't want to hear the people just continue to say you still ain't finding one piece, still ain't finding one piece.

SPEAKER_04

It's a man, it's a journey, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I'm loving it, man. Yeah, we're here for the crazy.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like so hyped to have it coming back so soon. I can't lie.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man, we got more to talk about in this world news about that, so we'll get to it. Um, a defining chapter in modern shonen has officially closed. With Chainsaw Man concluding, after an eight-year run, another pillar of the new gen era has fallen. Alongside Demon Slayer, JJ K, My Hero, and Doctor Stone, all of which have already ended, the landscape of manga is rapidly shifting. Dang, Dr. Stone finished up. Dang that hurts. So, really, of that generation of anime, I think there's only Black Clover and I think they consider Hunter Hunter, yeah. I I think they consider but uh for sure Black Clover is like one of the last ones standing. And I I do want to say Hunter Hunter as well, since we're um should be getting more of that. So it's funny because those two I don't know if you want to classify Hunter Hunter. We'll say that loosely right now, just because that the the story is a very original story. They had an original Hunter Hunter and stuff, but Black Clover like took a long hiatus, whereas the other ones didn't, so it kind of cheated its way through like the fall off well not fall off, but the conclusion of all these other mangas that were around at its time, so it's interesting. We're definitely getting a new a new wave of uh new gen.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about new gens. Like I there's you know the couple that I do like, they they're like already like about to end and stuff. And it's kind of I don't know. I uh I would like to see another big like I don't know, another big we need a big anime to come out again. Like GK coming out like that era was huge, dude.

SPEAKER_03

I'm telling you, if done right, I really, really, really can merch that Kaggara Ball. I I think so. I think so.

SPEAKER_02

I agree. Um my homeboy was just telling me yesterday that I need to sit down and read, bro.

SPEAKER_03

My bad. I'm just testing something out in the live chat. If y'all, if y'all rockin' with us, come try and join the live. Catch it live sometimes. We're gonna we're gonna try and have some real good interactive uh chats going as well. But let's move on. Netflix just gave a solid update on the My Hero Academia live action movie. Filming is now eyed for late fall 2026. Alice and Borderland director will direct, and Wonder Woman's writer is handling the script. The project has been in development for years, so this is the clearest timeline we've gotten so far. There have been no cast announcements yet. And if you don't know, say again. This is for my hero academic live action movie. Um here here here's my thoughts. When I was uh typing these notes, I already had this one stuck out to me. Like I already started thinking of thoughts of how I felt. And initially, I read and I see the Alice in Borderland director will direct it, and the Wonder Woman script writer is handling the script. There's no amount of casting that you can give me that will make me want to watch that. Alice in Borderland, week seven days, Wonder Woman, week seven days, putting those together and trying to make a fire live action for an anime. I don't trust it. I just don't. There's no amount of casting that you can do Netflix that will make me intrigued in that. That's not a good combination for me. It's not Alice and I'm looking at the director and the and the script writer, and both of those were weakly.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, script writer's kind of a crazy pool, I can't lie. Um I just started Alice and Borderland like a couple days ago. Watched like a couple episodes.

SPEAKER_03

What did you think?

SPEAKER_02

It's interesting.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know if I can't I didn't feel like I was a I I I I dropped it. I dropped it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, I'm like kind of we'll see. I you know, just I have other motives. So I might have to see it through, but it's it's interesting. I've heard good things about it. We'll see as time goes on, but this they that is I feel like yeah, I can agree that there's like two kind of crazy of pulls to they're not the strong ones, at least. Um yeah, true. I mean, like I mean it's not very strong, you know anime.

SPEAKER_03

I know you're not a fan of I know you're not a fan of my hero. And I'm not gonna sit here and act like I am the biggest fan, because I sure as hell am not. But I did enjoy the totality of it. It was hard to watch in the beginning. I wasn't really invested. Uh, when Deku really started tapping into his powers, like for real, I'm like, and the and and the series took a very dark turn. When it takes that shift, I was pretty much locked in. It was good. We were we started to meet some really cool characters, um, and then like new heroes and stuff. The villains were pretty much set throughout the you know, once they were set, they were pretty much set, but the build-up and everything, uh, there were some reveals, some some some really good like uh what's the best word?

SPEAKER_04

Just just unexpected reveals and stuff. They they really did, they really turned to uh the last I want to say two or three seasons for me. But I think I think it's worth a watch. But I know you have with you for the culture. Huh? For the culture.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Especially now that now they're just ending and stuff. Like you don't not I'm not necessarily saying start it next week, but like I think it's eventually eventually should should be turned on and knock it out. Because I think by the end, I I feel like you feel the same way about me. I still don't rank it high in like my favorites, my personal favorites, but in terms of a good quality shown in like it picks up. Oh Metal Alchemist, my bad, that's terrible. The creator behind Hunter Hunter and Yu Yu Haka Hakash and the creator of Sailor Moon made a rare appearance together in Japan, which is exciting fans worldwide. And I don't know if you've seen that picture, but the Hunter Hunter creator looks very healthy. He looks he looks pretty good. He looked he looked really good in the picture. Like, um at some point you you should you should go check that out, and y'all should go check that out if y'all haven't seen it. Because if y'all are hunter hunter fans and y'all know like the high the super long hiatus, I I can't even remember how many years it's been hiatus. Even the manga, um due to health concerns of the creator for from like those scares and like us not knowing if we're getting the end of Hunter Hunter, and then hearing that it's kind of back in the works now, and seeing this picture, recent picture of him, like looking very healthy and in good spirits. I got some good uh high hopes, man.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Yu Hakasho. Yu Yu Hakasho is uh slice slice of life or something.

SPEAKER_03

Slice of life, no. It's a OG shonen type anime. It's good. Yusuke Spirit Gun. Yeah. Okay. And you were just talking about like you don't know how you feel about the the new gens. Like, that's a good OG to that, like, that's fresh, you haven't seen it before. It's not like it is some like high scaling in terms of power and stuff, but also at the same time, it's pretty balanced. Um good moments, like good character development moments. It's it's a good overall show, and it's a it's just an OG show. Definitely check it out.

SPEAKER_04

Very popular, but yeah, definitely uh and like the fact that he made that and hunter hunter is just like he's him.

SPEAKER_03

But exciting, exciting news, definitely. He seems to be doing pretty well. Alright, uh Dexerdo reports that after Wit Studio revealed plans for a One Piece anime remake, Mr. Beast publicly offered to help fund a full Naruto anime reboot. He stressed that the remake should have modern animation, strong storytelling, and no fillers, giving new viewers a cleaner way to experience the story. Um I'm with it. I'm with it. I do feel like it's just it's just hard. Kids coming up nowadays, like they're surrounded by all this new gen stuff that if you don't get like the kids into some of the OG stuff first or OG stuff a lot earlier, it's hard for them to adapt to to accepting that style of uh anime. And it's almost like how how how we looked at cartoons, like you don't see many people even our age, mid-20s, like talk about shows like the Thundercats and the Jetsons and stuff, but those like we know like the real culture people that our parents put on and and and we kind of still experienced and still was open to, you know, we was rocking with because at the time when we were growing up, we was getting a lot different, a lot newer stuff was coming out, like you know, more like teenage ninja turtles, stuff like that was more piquing our interest as a younger age. I'm kind of speaking from a personal standpoint here, but not many, I know I can't speak with most of well, I won't say most of my friends, but certain people my age about shows like that, like older classics. And I feel like it's gonna be harder for though we're it's a lot more of a digitalized era that we're in, I still feel like it's gonna be harder for that new gen to accept that. Like you got kids playing Fortnite at six years old, like you can never expect them to go try out Marvel Ultimate Alliance because it's just not gonna hit for them because they're gonna be like, What is this? What is this movement?

SPEAKER_01

Like that was a good way to put it like that. You feel me though? No, no, it's so real.

SPEAKER_02

It's so even when I first started, you know, I was complaining about the ass. Even when I started One Piece, One Piece was like, dang, this is rough. But I know, you know, down the line it changed up and it was perfect.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and I just feel like the further we go, uh even you know, with the advancements of AI, as much as I hate to bring it up, like it's just gonna be hard to for for kids to look at that and look at the OG stuff and appreciate it. Whether, you know, I do feel like it takes from it because you're not getting the authentic experience. Also at the same time, if it keeps people tapped into the story and you know, can keep you know the legacy of the story itself alive, you know, and pull more fans into it. I'm with it. I support it. I'm not it's not money coming out of my pockets. And you know I I would probably watch it. I would probably like I'm going to watch the One Piece remake just to see how it how it like plays through as a as a fool. Like when it comes out, by the time it comes out, it's probably gonna be around that time for my my rewatch anyway. So yeah, I don't know. I just I uh think if if people are willing to do it the right way, you know, no filler, modern animation, it would be cool to see like actually a full reboot, you know. Get getting some of these OGs, but I also don't want it to be like a trend to where like every anime OG anime is gonna get where we're going down the pipeline right now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, especially with like big creators like DC and everything.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and this is the second because One Piece is a second one to do it because Dragon Ball uh they didn't redo Dragon Ball, but they pretty much redid Dragon Ball Super if I but if I correct like pretty recently or coming out soon or something like that with their new batch of their new because they just announced a new uh extension of Dragon Ball as well that they're gonna be releasing. But I think they're also doing or they already have I I correct me if I'm wrong in the comments or something, but I'm I'm pretty sure I've seen something to where they're already doing Dragon Ball Suit and Super's pretty recent, like Super, I think, started airing in like I want to say 2015, so it's barely a decade old, and they're redoing that. So hey, I guess uh a reboot of Naruto. I will I will watch it if it came out just to see. Um storytelling and themes by Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama, the dark dystopian manga Fungus and Iron is officially getting an anime adaptation. The series explores a terrifying world where a sentient parasite fungus controls human minds, turning society into a heavily militarized system ruled through fear and biological control. Um hey, I will watch it. It sounds interesting. The creator of AOT is making it. So you know it's gonna be dark, you know it's gonna be uh there's gonna be plot twists and stuff. So and it sounds pretty interesting. I wouldn't say like original because mind control parasite, you know, that we've seen stuff like that plenty of times.

SPEAKER_02

But that's what uh parasite is.

SPEAKER_03

Parasite's a little bit different than straight up mind control. It's like parasite was more so well, I don't know what Parasite controls humans my human minds. So I mean it it it could be similar because I guess you would say in parasite, they they just pretty much use the human as a host, like a host, but the human was like wasn't making conscious decisions most of the time, except the main character he kind of bonded with his parasite, but most of the other parasites pretty much took over the actual and used the body as a host. I don't know if this is the same or if this is just like the parasites influencing all of our thoughts. But the it sounds very interesting, I can't lie. Turning society into a heavily militarized system. Yeah, that sounds interesting.

SPEAKER_04

It could be interesting. That could be something. It's like Kenjaku.

SPEAKER_03

Have you uh No. What you think I'm like?

SPEAKER_02

Nah, I can't. Let the manga?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no. Oh yeah, slow down, see? Have you started the Darwin incident?

SPEAKER_02

No, I haven't caught it yet. I have not.

SPEAKER_03

It's interesting, bro. It's like a different type of anime, but is it on again? Gotcha. This is a if you know, you know. If y'all are watching the Darwin incident, it's it's pretty good, bro. I've been watching every week I catch myself just turn it on at some point and just watch an episode. And I'd be locked in. My dog Charlie is lit. Got on my dog Charlie. Um, yeah. But that show does sound pretty interesting, and hey, I'll check it out. I'm not gonna read the manga though. Maybe not read it, but I'm I may read like a chapter. Like, I I found that to be like with with hype stuff, I found that to be a good method for me. I started with the physical copy of solo leveling. I didn't even know what solo leveling was. I seen it, I I I seen it online, then I happened to walk past it in the store, I just bought it the physical copy. I read it before the anime dropped, and it like it got me hooked. So, like, this could do the same. Like, if I if I could pull it up and just read a chapter, and I'm like, hey, this might be something. I Kagarop Kagarabashi, I have not been keeping up on like reading. I read the first like 25 to 30 chapters, and then I I just kind of slowly fell off of it. Not like because I lost interest, I just been busy and stuff, but yeah. I don't know if I'm gonna I want to pick it up. I heard it's heating up. I heard it heated up, so I heard I heard it did too, and like it was hit hot when I was watch uh I was reading it, but I've heard like more a few times like since I was keeping up week the week, like of good moments. I don't know, no no spoilers or anything that I've seen, but I've just been seeing like very positive stuff. And and some like people were saying some of the manga styles was lazy. That was that was a few months ago though. But um I don't know, f Fungus and Iron. We'll check that out. We'll maybe uh stay on top of that and and keep y'all updated on the pod. Alright, this is a Judutu Kaisen rumor. Season three, part two might not arrive until January 2027 at the earliest, according to the current broadcast schedule. All 2026 anime slots are already filled, making January 2027 the earliest possible window to air. I never heard of a broadcasting schedule with like just streaming services.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, me neither.

SPEAKER_02

I um I'm not gonna we're already a little bit into the air. Yeah, I wouldn't I couldn't even like put it past them and do it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, if it can't if if part two came out this year, I would actually be surprised. Very for JJK, like 2027, January 2027, and like we said, it's a rumor, and that's just the earliest possible. Nothing's been confirmed yet. You know, they could push it back later in the year. But the fact that January 2027 is like the earliest that we could be getting it, and they're already talking about the potential of it. I'm with it. That shoot. What like eight months detached from from part one? Yeah, and then we ain't done. And we're we're we are trust me, we're eating, we're getting one piece back, we're getting stuff in return.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there's so much going on this year, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Shoot, JJK Hell's Paradise. That that's kept us entertained. We didn't even realize One Piece crept up on us. It's already April. Yeah, yeah. It's exciting though. Um, so hey, January 2027. It don't sound too bad. Uh, unless you that's the only thing y'all watch, then hey, read the manga, they're folks with the manga, and watch there's fan fan animations online. Good luck. Just tapping up some other stuff, honestly. JJK can't be the only thing you watch. If you like JJK, it can't be the only thing you like. That's just point-blank, period. You're just too close-minded, if that's the fact. I won't accept it. Uh, Tatsuki Fujimoto once revealed that some of Chainsaw Man's most iconic characters were shaped by surprising Western influences. He explained that the bond between Denji and Pochita was designed to mirror Finn and Jake from Adventure Time. He also confirmed that Powers' chaotic personality was inspired by Eric Cartman from South Park. Wow. Um, it's funny because I really don't know how many people would have made the connection to Finn and Jake with uh Denji and Pochita. But I was looking at a picture of them side by side, I'm just like, wow. Like if you were to like put Finn and Jake in like uh just animated form, like it would be pretty, pretty similar to you know, just a resemblance and stuff. So it was it that was pretty funny, and I just feel like um I don't know. I I I personally love Pen and Jake, and I've loved Chainsaw Man thus far. So seeing that that that was an inspiration for them. Pretty cool, pretty cool for that.

SPEAKER_04

Um Powers Chaotic. What is that?

SPEAKER_03

No, her chaotic personality. Oh yeah. Powers is a is a character in the show. Gotcha. I but I meant to put a apostrophe powers chaotic personality, but yeah, she's uh she's a character. Yeah, she's uh I and I'm not even like I haven't I haven't watched too much of South Park, so I don't even know.

SPEAKER_02

I Isn't that like the the main kid?

SPEAKER_04

I don't I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know all of that is so I didn't even know there was one specific main kid. I thought there was just the bad kid. I thought there was a group of them. They were all bad.

SPEAKER_02

There's a group, but it's like that's like the iconic one that everybody would know. Just the the the blue beanie kid with the I I'm not familiar with South Park. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. But uh I do know like I've seen South Park episodes, so I do know like just the the general personality of the group. I just don't know the specific ones. But um yeah, it's just cool for them to admit because I do feel like America, we're the land of stealing stuff from everyone. So and I don't that we do give credit a lot, but there are a lot of times where we don't give credit. So it's cool to see us receive credit for some of the stuff that you know is pretty influential in our culture alone, you know. Yeah, for it to have this reach all the way and animated stuff too. Yeah. The fact that, you know, American cartoons still can appeal to you know Japanese or or I mean not even just Japanese, but just a lot of other cultures in general. Facts are pretty cool.

SPEAKER_04

Um petals of oh man.

SPEAKER_03

This one this one was was wild. I had to throw this in here. Petals of reincarnation, where legendary figures from history are reborn as returners, some to protect humanity and others with darker ambitions. Yes, that includes Hitler Reborn as a little girl. Bro, what I have no clue what this anime really detains. Um, I seen this and I was just like, it just caught my eye, and I was like, I have to talk about this and see what Ja's thoughts are.

SPEAKER_04

It's an interesting uh like plot, I guess.

SPEAKER_02

Legendary figures from history reborn.

SPEAKER_03

I do wonder what other figures they have.

SPEAKER_04

I wonder like how the word the world works though, like Yeah. Hitler's a crazy pool for to be reborn.

SPEAKER_03

But it would be interesting because that's the complete opposite of Hitler, like a little girl, like I don't know what this little girl's personality is gonna be like, but like I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

She's some Hitler right now.

SPEAKER_03

Not some, she is Hitler. I don't know. Um, it just caught my eye, and not I don't really think that's something I would watch. Hey, if y'all are familiar with the show and y'all have seen this or y'all, I don't know if it's out yet or what. I just seen this. If y'all are a little bit more familiar with it, leave us a comment. Inform us. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Who all who all returns?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And what is Hitler like?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, let us know.

SPEAKER_03

Zoros live action. Oh brother trained for seven days a week. Three hours per session while preparing for season two. I heard the old brother. You really you really not about to do that live action, huh?

SPEAKER_02

Bro, I put it on the other day. That it's so cringe, bro. And I don't feel like they're telling the story right, bro. They're just going too fast, bro. That was too fast.

SPEAKER_01

I don't complain about no pacing, bro.

SPEAKER_02

They're flying though. They're flying.

SPEAKER_03

They have to though. I guess, but I do feel like I no, I agree. They should stay on some of these islands a little bit longer. But I'm not mad at the flow of things. I I I I was I recently I I watched uh I was halfway done with season one, so I've pretty much rewatched everything and watched Saul of Season 2 within like a few days. I just sat there and watched it. And I'ma give it like a 7.8 A 7.8. And I'm gonna honestly stand ten toes and say this thus far is the best live action anime that we've got.

SPEAKER_04

The casting has been pretty good throughout the whole thing.

SPEAKER_03

Um is very hands-on with it.

SPEAKER_02

It doesn't seem like it. The way it's flowing, I'm like this Roger didn't even get his his words off. That that really pissed me off. In the the first was that the first episode or something. Yeah. Roger didn't get his words off, they cut him off with his whole speed.

SPEAKER_01

Man, that hurt me, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's they they they portray things a a little bit different. Like uh Bardo is in um Log Town. But can it in Canon he was there? They just they just kind of introduce it early. They show his they just kind of like I liked what they did with with certain things, they just made it more realistic to like okay, these people were around. People just got certain people got cameos, like Sabo got a cameo because when Dragon returned to his ship, he was just in the back, like Sabo was just in the background. You didn't see Sabo's full character, but you can see his fit and stuff, and like you can see his Sabo. And like uh Bardo, like, he did have a like one or two run-ins with Luffy in Lil Town, and then he witnessed the moment where Luffy was saved before he he was uh executed and stuff, and like that was the moment where in in canon where Bardo like became a Luffy fan and stuff. So like they just kind of sprinkle in little stuff like that where they show things that are that like Dory and Braggie mentioned Nika, but they were just like talking to him, like talking about the sun god. They weren't like but they mentioned it. Is that Nika? Mm-hmm. Um dun dun trying to think what like what what else were major changes? Like we seen, we seen um they gave when they were giving LaBoons backstory, like we seen Brooke. Like Brooke as a human, like as a musician on the ship.

SPEAKER_02

It didn't like no one knows. You're not I mean see, but like okay I feel like you have you're supposed to watch the anime, right? Yes, yes. So don't watch that first. Please don't watch that.

SPEAKER_03

I I I I feel I feel I a thousand percent agree with you, though I do know the reason they're doing this live action is to get people on to onto it, but I do feel like for someone that's clueless, it does kind of like certain things won't no certain things they won't they won't understand. Like the Bardo thing, they won't under they won't realize that, you know, who who that becomes. Yeah. Um the the like saying Sabo in the back is just a dude standing in the back. Like um the the Brooke thing, like, yeah, Brooke was kind of like highlighted. Yeah, he was kind of like because he was the musician, and it was about Bink Saka, like Laboon and the crew and Bink Sake, like and stuff. So obviously, Brooke was highlighted, and you know, they do it because we know that he was there, and I do feel like it would be weird if we got a Laboon flashback now, and like we just see the crew, and it's just like they're all singing and stuff, but we don't see anybody that looks like Brooke, like they try and try and disguise him or something, then we would be like, So I'm not mad at the little tweaks that they made. They they they haven't ruined it for me at all. They've I do feel like to it to a certain extent, we have to accept that things in a live action have to just be more human-like, as much as like as much as we want it to be as cartoony and silly as One Piece is, like, the point of a live action is to have the human feel to it, and I do feel like it gives us that. We still get the crazy um the crazy moves, the crazy environments, the crazy interactions, the crazy people that you meet and stuff. But you kind of it gives you a little bit of a perspective on how it would look if we're in the world of One Piece, and I do like that. I do like that because they're not portraying it in a bad light, in my opinion. It's not bad. There are some cringy things, there are some corny things about it. I'm not doubting that it like, and there's some things that I dislike about it, like certain characters I feel like they didn't cast well, and overall I feel like the casting was pretty solid. Um, I do feel like they're you said who that Roger was not hero. I'm not mad at the Roger.

SPEAKER_02

You're not mad at the Roger? I'm furious, bro. Yeah, they could have done a I I wasn't too mad at it.

SPEAKER_03

I wasn't too. I'm not I feel like I was more mad at the Garp than the Megan East. Garp Garp is a very Garp is like a main protect. That was the main thing I didn't like. Garp was like a main in the East Blue. He was like the main antagonist of it. Like he was pretty much pursuing Luffy throughout the whole time. Like Smoker was still involved, had his role and stuff, and still his. But like Garp was just following him and catching up with him every now and then and having his run-ins. That's the only thing I wasn't really like because they they showed a lot of Kobe and um Hel Mepo like changing under Garp. I did kind of like that because you see that how because Kobe has one of the fastest blow-ups in the show, and you're kind of seeing it happen in real time. Like right when he gets on Garp's crew, like how much Garp is changing them. So I do like that aspect, but I was just like, oh my god, almost every episode right now, like Garp's on their ass or Garp's close by trying to figure out what they got going on. Um I think you should power through it. Um, the last like two or three episodes are like really good. Like everything aside, they're they're just really good episodes. Uh Zoro has really good moments. Um I do like what they do with Sanji. They don't over, they don't make him like overly like he's just very flirty. Like he's flirty with everything, but he's not overly like he's not passing out, he's not doing anything. He's flirty, he's smooth, and he's he's what we would hope Sanji would really be like in person. Like he's a ladies' man, and like he be missing because he's just overly like you know doing too much, but he's not like like cringy, he's very smooth, like laid back, he's the cook, and and he fights hard. Like, I do really like what they did with Sanji's character. Usopp, I even like Utop a lot because it he's kind of he's not like I I know I know I'm rambling about this, but like yo, I was I was locked in, bro. I was really like and mainly for the pie. Like, I wanted to talk about I really wanted to watch it and like dissect it and talk one piece because it's one piece. But Utop's character, I do like what they did with Usopp because he's afraid. He's and you could tell like he's trying to overcome that, but he's not like overly just like sorry, like he's just um he has his moments, you know, he has his funny little funny little remarks like oh we could just run away, or like little stuff like that, but he has a very realistic style to him. I I just like his casting, like I feel like he he portrays, he's portraying Usa pretty well because he's not making him look as sorry as we look at him in the in the anime.

SPEAKER_04

Does he have a um he doesn't have his nose, does he?

SPEAKER_03

No, they don't they don't there's he's just they don't see GIs or I I I don't know if I would have liked that either. Like because one thing they're doing good at is they're keeping like yeah, though some humans look different and are like size different, they're keeping the size, but they're they're still keeping them human. So where it's like like obviously Arlong he looks like a human with a CGI like Fish Man, like they CGI fish man on him, but like the humans are actually just keeping them as live actors. I I do kind of like that. I don't know if I would have like everybody in the crew kind of normal looking and then like CGI knows. I don't know, I don't know how Philip. I mean, I would I guess I wouldn't be too mad at it because that's what Usopp looks like, but I I I like that they kept it. But overall, like a 7.8, some like it had some peaker moments that closer to 8.5 and up. Like they they they have some really good moments. The moment where um Soro was testing his testing his luck with the with the sword, I think it was done really well. Some of the I mean most of the scenes, like uh the sets and stuff and and and where they do shoot everything, it's pretty good, bro. It's pretty good. They're they're they're portraying One Piece solidly, like a lot better than a lot of live actions have given us. As a One Piece fan, I think you have to take out your expectations and just watch it and just see see what you think.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out to the uh the live action actor though, put that put that work in.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, for sure. And I I seen uh Sanji actually Sanji's act actor learned some um it's not kickboxing, but uh whatever martial art that uh Sanji Sanji does. Like he actually learned it so he could do more instead of having a stunt double. I think I think they all kind of like did a lot more so they don't have to have stunt doubles for everything.

SPEAKER_02

They try to get that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I mean, even if let's say two, three more seasons of this and then you know they cancel it because it's not doing well, like people, people can still other you know, casting companies can see like the work they put in as actors and stuff and actresses, and yeah, you know, they could get work from there. So like that's right. I think it it it all counts. It shows your dedication, and it it shows that you're more than just like, I'm gonna show up and act these the script and stuff. Like, it shows that you're gonna put in the work, you know, put put your body on the line. I seen even for Al Vita's actress, you know, but so they didn't re because they were considering recasting her for as a like a completely different, skinnier version, but she actually lost the weight in between season one and season two, so she can stay Alvita and like just the dedication. Hey, you gotta commend it. Like definitely no. You know, you don't you don't see this all the time. I won't say too much because there are actors and actresses that really put that work in, but like the best of the best do it. But you know, for the most part, you don't you don't really s see too much, hear too much about them doing stuff like that. So shout out to them. Alright, um last but not least, I saved this for last because it kind of covers uh what to expect with this one piece anime return. I was just doing a little deep diving in this. I guess it's still anime news, but I just kind of looked this up after and added this as my last point. But One Piece anime returns April 5th with a brand new seasonal format. But what does that mean for episodes and pacing? We will get around 24 to 26 episodes annually split into two parts, no more nonstop weekly releases all year. Pacing is not officially confirmed to speed up. The current report suggests that it may still be approximately one chapter per episode. The popular two to three chapter per episode idea is not yet confirmed. This means we will get better anime quality and less production stress, but pacing might still feel similar unless changes do happen. The first few episodes are sure to reveal everything for us, whether we'll get faster pacing or the same. But the bottom line is we will definitely have higher quality while the pacing is still up in the air. Nonetheless, I'm excited. And you know, we've we've covered over the past few episodes and stuff. Well, really, since we've been on break these past few months, just the the meetings and and that all these teams are having and and and some of the behind the scenes work that they're all putting in, you know, all hands on deck to make this LBEC art LB art really what it's supposed to be. So I'm excited, man. What what are your thoughts, Ja?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm not even too worried about I I think the with the time they had, I've um I'm not gonna even sweat the quality of what or the pacing that's about to come out. Um I'm just happy to get one piece back, man. Uh even if even if it gets dragged out a little bit in some places, it it all probably resembles the the manga. So I mean can't be two.

SPEAKER_03

I'm a I'm I'm gonna do some more like deep diving and seeing like from where LBAF starts and stuff, seeing what 24 to 26 chapters is gonna look like and where that's gonna end. Because with given the three months that we've been off and they've been, you know, preparing to go seasonal, I want to believe that they are trying to since it's going to be you know 12 to 13 episodes and then a break, I think they they have to strategize it to where like we're leaving off somewhere, like to where we're not just cutting off. So I believe you know we can kind of get a gauge of how they may do it by just like looking at what happens in 12 to 13 chapters, like where is the stopping point that would be like, oh, I can't wait for next season, and then from there, where are we gonna get? Because you can I I I don't want to say too much um for our anime only watchers that are that are still with us so far, so I'm not gonna say too much on certain parts of Elbath, but we can kind of have an idea of what you know Elbath, God Valley, then back to Elbath like hopefully they but um because well Elbath Harold God Valley Harold rocks God Valley or Harold then Elbath. Yeah, so but um I'm interested. I I'm not like you said, I'm not too worried about the pacing. I think given the like I said, I think given the time that they've had, I think they they know their stuff starting and stopping point for each season. And I trust that to where like we're not gonna have wasted episodes, pretty much. I I I I at least have that hope out there that you know I I don't think we're gonna have any episodes where we're like, well, nothing really happened, they were just kind of standing around in the same place. Like there are gonna be those episodes, you know, because there are moments where people are telling stories and telling times of the past where they're actually in one spot for some time. Yeah, sometime. But over the course, I think we should get pretty we should move pretty smoothly through the art, and it should feel like you know, an actual seasonal anime experience should feel you know, we kind of you kind of lose the well One Piece has been doing it for years, so I'm not really saying lose, but you see how even Boroto. We're just gonna use that as an example because Naruto wasn't like this, but Boroto was. So Naruto came out in chunks, but Boroto, they just started releasing episodes every week and they they dropped the ball. They had to stop in order to you know get themselves together, and now you know Borito's supposedly gonna be heating up, and what what what we're gonna be getting is gonna be top quality. So I kind of feel like that's that's a trend when you're going weekly and weekly and weekly for just months and months on end. You just kind of are so stuck in that rotation that you just feel like you have to have an episode out next week. Have to have an episode. So it may just be like 75% of a chapter this week, you know, a full chapter next week. Like that that's kind of how, but now they have the time to structure it and really put it together to where we're moving and flowing through it. Yeah, excited, man.

SPEAKER_04

I'm excited, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Excited. Excited to be back here with y'all watching them live. Um, and it it's great for us because we know what to expect. We just finally get to see it animated, and for y'all anime only watchers, like y'all don't know what to expect. There is a hot I know there's a lot of hype around LBAF that that y'all have been hearing in the community, but like y'all don't know what to expect, and it'll still probably exceed that. Like, LBAF is forming into a potential top three, it's definitely probably a top five art right now.

SPEAKER_04

Definitely already.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, with the backstory alone, like, but I try I try to detach a little bit of the backstory, a little bit like Wano gets boosted up a little bit because of Odin's backstory for me. Like, if Oda's backstory wasn't in Wano, I'd be like, uh, you know, besides Oni Ganshima, like it was pretty and alright. But Elbath, even if you take out God Valley, like it's it's we're getting some climax moments. But just with the fact that God Valley is in L Bath, and you know, you know, each arc we get a major flashback on on a major character at some in some way, shape, or form. So like this one, top, top.

SPEAKER_04

One on one fresh hour, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But um, shoot, that's perfect. We're right around our hour mark. So let's finish. Uh that was the last of our anime world news segment. SPEAKER_04

Feeling great, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Going into this chapter.

SPEAKER_02

Action packed. Um I you know, I know we don't do spoilers on here, but next week is also peak, boy. So it's entirely.

SPEAKER_03

Shoot, the way this ends, it better be.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's we're we're here.

SPEAKER_03

We're here. You said the title of this episode. Lbat is at its peak. I mean that. Um, y'all, when I tell y'all I was typing on the summary, I really sat there. I had one phone in this hand, one phone in this hand, and I'm sitting there looking at reading the chapter and typing it out so I can get a good like summary. Because I just want to, there's some moments that I do want to capture in the original like overview that I feel like I skip over, and then when when Ja and I go through the chapter, you know, page by page, it'll be a little bit more we can point out more specific moments. Uh especially for myself. But so bear with me. It's not it's not too too long. I just covered uh majority of the or I covered the chapter, but it's not it's not too long. So let's get started. Alright. So first we can discuss this before we get into the chapter. You want to discuss this uh cover cover art page, the reader request, Robert Play One Flower and a Bed Dug Up by Moles by Miss Fuji.

SPEAKER_04

Miss Fuji.

SPEAKER_02

Um don't got much here. Yeah, Robin I do, you know, sh this brings me straight back to Usopp and Chopper's fight with the um what was that, Alabasta?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, with the mole.

SPEAKER_02

Uh the mole and the bat boy and uh the dog dog gun. Uh yeah, they look just like her, so I assume that's where the art came from. We also got that mole in the back with a straw hat and a giant hammer.

SPEAKER_03

So okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Um, look at that.

SPEAKER_02

Also the hands of uh uh Robin, the other hands that are holding up those radishes or whatever.

SPEAKER_03

How's she doing that?

SPEAKER_02

They look like like I don't know, to me they look like Usopp. I'm not Usopp, chopper's horns.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay. I was more confused on how she was doing it if she ain't crossing her arms.

SPEAKER_04

Come on now. She she she leveling up.

SPEAKER_01

She's leveling up, come on now. Alright.

SPEAKER_03

Alright, Robin.

SPEAKER_01

Robin got some feet in the cover page.

SPEAKER_03

Um, I was trying to make out what this this was up here in the in the window. I didn't know if that was anything I was like overlooking. I was trying to make something out of it, but I might be somebody. I can't really make make that out, but that's emo. Alright, so let's dive into this chapter. Chapter 1177, Furious. Alright, at the western village, the giant adults scrambled to bring their children and the injured inside their homes, while Colon and other children became excited over the impending action. The Domi Reverse members of the Giant Warrior Pirates try to convince their now freed captains, Dory and Braggie, to rejoin them, stating that they are now bestowed with strength and mortality as well as being liberated from viewing anything as evil. One of the giants attacked Dory using his trident, which destroyed his shield and pierced his forearm. Enraged by their wounds, Dory, Bragi, as well as Hasuddin, and Sanson tell the demons to be ashamed of themselves for submitting to evil as they prepare to fight back. Meanwhile, at the elevator area where Chopper monitors the injured Gabon, Kashi is being cornered by a pair of reverse giants who taunt him while also trying to convince him to join them. As Chopper urged Kashi to retaliate, he is unable to bring himself to harm his old friend. Back at the western village, Brogi confronts the demonized Gantonio and vent out his anger against him for always taking too much of his food by cutting him in half. This is followed by Dory, Hasruden, Stanson, and Zoro, who each cut down the giants with ease. On the other hand, Kashi is about to be attacked by the Reverse Giant as Chopper urged him to escape, but Kashi is unable to bring himself to do it. As Gabon is about to retaliate, Chopper consumes a Rumble Ball and transforms into the monster point to punch one of the Domi Reverse Giants. While the punch seemingly dealt no physical damage, it did somehow drive the demon away, reversing the Domi Reversi process and restored the giant back to normal. This unexpected outcome puzzled both Chopper and Kashi, who wondered what just happened. Near the Owl library, Nami fed Zeus while killing him, now reduced to only his head after battle with the Straw Hats, continued to threaten them with harsh retribution for defying him. Jinbei comments on how Killingham's audacity, despite his current condition, as he continues to express his disgust for the fishman. Frankie suggests locking Killingham's dissected body parts inside boxes so that it will be unable to reattach. While Sanji expressed his surprise on how unexpectedly weak a Goz Knight member were as he thinks of ways to permanently kill one. Frankie quips that all of this seemed easy because everyone became stronger ever since Luffy became a Yanko. To which Sanji responds that he hopes that was the case. Although the idea of a powerful nation like Elbath being brought down to his knees by such weak people enrages Sanji even more. Overhearing the conversation, Killingham tells the Straw Hats to enjoy insulting him while they can, before being silenced by Jinbei, who warns his crewmates that there is still one more member of the knights that were still unharmed by the ongoing battle and that they should not take them lightly. Just as Nami ordered Zeus to extinguish fire across Elbath, Luffy and Loki reunite with the group as they are done with decimating Killingham's MMAs. While the men express their surprise and awe at Loki's giant beast dragon form, Nami snaps and calls out Luffy and Loki for causing even more fire on Elbath, in which she tries to extinguish. While Nami appreciates the help for dealing with the MMAs, she points out that Loki's careless use of lightning power has caused even more damage than the ones caused by the knights. After being consoled by Raditaskar, Luffy lashes out at Loki for causing him to get blamed, to which Loki angrily responds with a burst of lightning at Luffy as he is frustrated for being insulted while all he did is simply crushing Elbath's enemies. However, due to Luffy's rubber body, he is unaffected by Loki's attack, which surprises him. Before the two continue their squabble, Luffy notices an explosion at a distance. At the Branch 8, where Brooke and Emu possess Gunko is, Usopp is seen beaten into the ground as Brooke tries to warn him to escape, saying that he came here on his own and that he should not be dragged down along with them. Usopp, however, refuses to leave his crewmate behind, stating that a warrior like him would never escape, especially since he believed doing that would disgrace Elbath's legacy. On top of that, his anger is at a point that he no longer feared the danger anymore. Usopp then redirects to Emu, calls him out for kidnapping children, using monsters to attack civilians, and corrupts the warriors into killing each other, all of which Usopp finds disgraceful, after which Emu attacks him and Brooke. Usopp then preparing to shoot Emu as he's calling them out for being cowards and relying on dishonest on a dishonest method to subjugate Elbath rather than fight and conquer the warrior nation head on. To which Emu nonchalantly replied that a ruler like them does not need to get their hands dirty. Just as Usopp is about to fire Skullblast Grass at Emu, they quickly close the distance and urges Usopp to fire the shot at point blank range. This resulted into an explosion that injured Usopp even more. While Emu regenerates the damage unfazed at at that a moment after that, Luffy and Loki arrive at the scene. Upon seeing the badly injured Usopp and Brooke, Luffy became furious at Emu for their actions, while Loki affirms that he will not be letting them get away with it. As the confrontation ensured, Emu remarks to Luffy and Loki, referring to them as Nika and Needhauger, respectively, that regardless of if they submit or die, the ensuring battle between them will inevitably divide the world. Starting out, give me your thoughts.

SPEAKER_02

Um Chapter of the Hall is fire. Um first page, boom. Western Village. We got the parents trying to grip up Colin and the kids before the big fight can uh assumes with the giant pirates and the rest of the Dominiversity. That boy Colin is glazing out there, boy.

SPEAKER_03

He he just loves it. He got real conqueror's blood in him and giant's blood in him. Like he got that action. He he he just loves the excitement of battle.

SPEAKER_02

I can't even be back when he's about to about to experience uh peak.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, with his eyes. I mean, if I could be Colin in this situation, I hey, I I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind.

SPEAKER_02

This is kind of like a um, you know how like Loki was watching rocks and his dad fight? Yeah, this is like this level for Colin. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um it I just I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

I find it funny how vocal the Domingover she'd get.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_02

Um, not I don't got much there. Yeah, it's just funny.

SPEAKER_03

Um just just real quick on this, on that last thing that you were saying, like how vocal they get. I noticed that um it seems to be anytime like uh like when we seen well, we didn't really see it with rocks, he didn't do too much like popping his shit, but like when Harold was was transforming, I know that was with the with the um with the mark. But uh just with when when he was doing that, just like he started to get that above bigger than life attitude, like I'm higher than you. You should you should you should join me because you know this immortality gives me and that I'm seeing the same thing with these uh giants. And I just think it could be something to do with like you know, we kind of see that with majority of celestial dragons, holy knights, all of them, they kind of just that's a good way to look at it. Yeah, they kind of get that um we're holier than you, we're better than you, kind of attitude. And then we kind of see that when they transform into these demonized figures that they kind of get that same type of so I think I think it's like a you know, oh celestial dragons, like they, you know, these demonized winged creatures, like it's always something like along those lines. So I don't know. I just I just I just noticed the connection. Hey, there we go. The Dominion version are the real celestials or they're the real betrayal of the celestials or something like that.

SPEAKER_02

Um top left. I uh no, you're good. I was kind of surprised that uh Dory got like kind of caught lacking by that. Or I mean his shield broke, but like I mean that goes to show I guess the the strength of being Dominion version and everything, but yeah, and we've we've known you know the Giants to be able to take a blow, but that that looks crazy, I can't lie. Yeah, and they like and and Oda did like a zoomed-in like stabbing with it, yeah. With the trident and everything. I was like, Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I think it was uh well I heard I heard something um where people were talking about maybe Dory was holding back a little bit, but I kind of had a little bit of a contradiction because in the last chapter at the end, they were like, oh, so we can just go all out. And they were all when they all had their lineup, their their one-liners. So like it was like, okay, yeah, maybe he's not trying to like he wasn't really focusing on his defense, he was just more so just getting that in the way, which I thought was like interesting, but I wasn't really too sold on that because I'm like they do know they can like they did kind of say they can go all out, and that's the way in defeating them. But uh, I just I did think it was interesting like to think about maybe like he he he wasn't putting this all into blocking, like because I I feel like infusing some sort of hockey or something would your shield wouldn't just break like that. So I don't know. I mean clearly that's that's not no hockey, but maybe he he wasn't. I don't I don't know, I don't know. But in the next box, I was just saying nonetheless, like that look like it would hurt.

SPEAKER_04

No, definitely.

SPEAKER_02

Um I'm still my bad. Him like popping his shit to the dumb university, that was kind of crazy, I can't lie. Like, look look at you submit to your new master.

SPEAKER_03

Well, you was just about to do the same thing.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, what? Like, come on, bro. You ain't had to go that crazy. Oh no.

SPEAKER_02

Um But I gotta I mean in a way they have to hype themselves up, I guess.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Um, but yeah, that's all I got for this page. I don't really have much for the right side, but yeah, I don't this wasn't really much either. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Um Chopper pretty much trying to convince Kashi to run.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Kashi's in his marine ways, I guess I would call it. Um or has his marine morals and he's like not trying to fight his comrades, which is kinda crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Um my sister's trolling me outside the window. Oh sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Um, but no, yeah, I guess that goes back to his like marine morals of guarding and never like being on defense, and I guess not.

SPEAKER_04

Yo, is he good? What do you think about this leopard with uh rogue? He blitzed his eye. That boy heated up all the food and Antonio. Oh yeah. You good? She's dragging it, sorry. You can get a next phase.

SPEAKER_02

Boom. Zoro and the uh the giant pirates start off the with a bang. Harudin with uses Gugnir. I wonder uh where he got the name from that. Um Dory with a c uh a classic Ikoku Sovereignty.

SPEAKER_03

That was cool seeing him do that.

SPEAKER_02

So his dude yeah, finally. I'm glad to he deserves to be able to do that movie. You know, he's like one of the people I'd expect that from. Um, and then what's the other dude's name? Stanson, his first name to check, boom, giant trauma. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_02

His hammer looks like a drum though. A little bit.

SPEAKER_03

Look like a giant barrel.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And then Zoro's and Zoro, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Santoro Akaoni or Okomega or Three Sword Style, Red Ogre. It's kind of uh reminiscent of the king fight, in my opinion, where he's like after the slices, he flies through. Um but yeah, he splits the giant's head and body into many pieces. Many pieces. It's just funny. Like the chief's off in the back, and he's just watching this all go down. It's like, aren't they doing a little bit too much?

SPEAKER_03

There was a little bit too excited, but on and Chopper.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't to this point, I didn't feel like Gabon was still down and out, but I guess he is forever.

SPEAKER_03

That was boy was hooked up on medical foods and stuff. Um I think it was like I like the situation where Gabon's about to step up because I mean, obviously, fully healthy Gabon's the strongest person right there in that situation. But especially to help Kashi because he can't even, he's pretty much you know, fight or f fight or flight, he's freezing. Uh-huh. But mainly, you know, that's his comrades and stuff. But Chopper stepping up and you know, just taking initiative in that situation to where Chopper's always been quick on his toes and stuff, but um just especially stepping into a battle situation like this, like just ready, like the moment Gabon clutches and and Chopper's like, hold on, I got this. I I I like that.

SPEAKER_01

I like that for the back and he about to tee up, boy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I love that uh the narrator called it Pantham and called it Team Chopper as well. Yeah. Um boom, the big moment.

SPEAKER_03

That boy, pillow punch that boy.

SPEAKER_02

What do you call this form again? I forget.

SPEAKER_03

Monster Point.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Monster Point. Um, a light little slap goes a long way. Um with the late effect, because after the slap, he still got some words off, and then instantly we see him turn back to his original form after a thun and a swoop. Shock Chopper's uh shocked as well.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um what are your thoughts right here?

SPEAKER_03

This is uh I wonder if that's kind of like uh uh like in a way some sort of like mini temporary abyss circle or something that pops up and and that we see on the ground like kinda kind of surround him and and as he comes back yeah and like pretty much uh drives the demon away. Um I mean I'm just as shocked as Chopper in this panel like when that happened. Because especially because Oda made sure to like note that the the attack didn't physically do nothing to him because he could have just gave us the slap, he hits the ground, and then the the Dome University goes away. But like Oda pretty much made it like hey Chopper's still not this like overly strong physical fighter, but this ability, whatever this may be, is could be detrimental to like you know who has a who has a a secret weapon almost like I hope this gets reported to the crew that this happens later. Um I think in some way, shape, or form it's going to have to. Gabon's pretty astute, or what's is that is that the right word? Uh yeah, like like he's on point with a lot. Like this whole sequence, Gabon's been like pretty informative, and like you could tell he processes a lot of information, like battle information quick and stuff. So I think this would be if Chopper's dumbass didn't say nothing, I think Gabon would sort of tell somebody or it I think it would have to come up like in the future once the crew uh reunites, whether there's there's more threats of a dome reversy or um like something in the future where they have to deal with, you know, uh uh a mark or like a covenant mark or a dome reversity where they're all together and chopper's like, oh, I remember that one time. Like, even if it's like that, I do hope everyone knows and gets to learn about this some sort of but we're gonna have to learn about the truth of Chopper's devil fruit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I think this is I feel like this is leaning towards the first reveal of um as speculated from for a very long time that chopper's human human fruit is probably has you know is it's something well stronger than a regular reindeer eating the human human fruit. Quick mini theory, real quick. Um I saw this on TikTok.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Um it's about Chopper?

SPEAKER_02

It's about Chopper. It's kind of headcanon a little bit, but I just still want to address it. Um I'm just grabbing. The reason you're good. The reason for uh Blackbeard going to Drum Island was possibly secretly looking for Chopper's fruit. Um maybe it could be as speculated very highly. something to do with the force god. Um there in other folklore there's a force god that like is is a reindeer with those that's certain antlers that it has. I forget what I forget what like religion or cultural background is from but it's depicted with very similar uh antlers around the you know couple cultures around or whatever um and possibly the what possibly like what Heroot like uh his um his master his uh basically his father figure what was his name again Dr.

SPEAKER_03

Herook is it Hirluck okay yeah was like looking for like the cure to of like for all diseases might be like something to do with chopper's fruit okay I like that um and maybe maybe possibly rocks knew that as well like to to counter the Domey reversey yeah yeah so yeah because we do know when Rox went to God Valley you know he wasn't uh even his wife had told him what was her name Eris Eris Eris that's that was his wife right what was uh um Harudan's mom is Igrid uh no um no that's Loki's mom Ida Ida Ida was yeah so Ares was Rock's wife but even she mentioned like you know you weren't prepared to fight them yet you weren't prepared to like uh take this on yet run too and she he was like no I gotta fight so you know we don't fully know what his preparations were we do know that it's pretty it's not confirmed but we do speculate that pretty highly that the Needhogger was one of them and he because he said he wanted Harold to eat that one and you would imagine this because of his knowledge of the size and stuff and Harold would be the most uh beneficial of that time you know to use it but this fruit potentially being a fruit which I would be interested if he gave it to a human like what what would the the fruit specifically do? But I mean I guess similar to like Luffy Sengoku they're all Hitohito users and every Hito Hito Hitohito you know mythical zone fruit like ancient mythic mythical zone whatever you would want to call their specific fruits have god forms like Sengoku and Luffy. So Topper being the one who has no specific form doesn't really have anything specific to his devil fruit from what we've seen besides this potential reveal um you know it it it it's safe to say that he's a he has some sort of God fruit I mean it it it supports the you know forest god yeah speculations a little bit stronger I also want to touch on the little bit I said about Hero Luke and Chopper's fruit it is it is a mushroom that he ate yeah I I actually wanted to wanted to bring that up but I was just like maybe it wasn't but you meant you you thought of that too I I was thinking that yeah so like in terms of different little subtle meanings like I I like it I like it I like it Chopper's Chopper's gonna be the counter man um it's gonna be interesting to see how his role changes because yeah I mean it's just good to see Chopper get a little bit of a importance boost because his role is always top three because his role as a doctor but like we've all been saying Yonko crew we need to see you know pretty much everybody on the crew needs to be vice admiral or stronger. Like in order to to really be to the king of the pirates crew you you would at least need even your bottom tiers to to be able to hold their own in any sort of situation. So the fact that Chopper was able to pop up and do this a huge reveal and really exciting for for his character. I'm glad to see that the community we've we've been asking for um a lot of crew crewmate uh upscales and we've been getting them chapters in a row you know even Brooke Brooke you know he's leaning to towards learning more about Brooke Frankie gets a big upgrade chopper gets a big upgrade we know we see a little bit of Jimbe feet you know see a good Sanji feet here and there Zoro doing Zoro things um you know we see even that back here or no we didn't get to it yet even when we see Zeus later on like you see that he's like holding the bigger forms like pretty pretty casually now um yeah it's just good to see that we're starting to see the whole of a Yanko we'll get into more more because you know Frankie makes that comment later but uh on to the IL li owl library give me your thoughts over here I mean I love I love when the the the narrator pans to new pans and it does like the out zoom thing.

SPEAKER_02

This is gonna be incredible library yeah this is gonna be incredible seeing this right yeah man that's Zeus in the back all huge getting fed by Nami Black balls um so yeah and it's I feel like from the switch from uh where we're left with Chopper and then coming straight here he says that I feel like that's gonna be like the comedic relief that we needed right here we come back killing him killing him shaking the the balls yo uh killing him is all in pieces tied up by the by the straw hats now. Yeah I I think it's an upscale for the guys can't lugging him around or or farm moment for the guys.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah I I I really like it. Um they seem to have jumped them and beat him with beat him with some ease yeah uh you know it's not really saying too too much because we've seen we've on almost a week to week basis since we've gotten to Elbath we've seen the Holy Knights give us pretty underwhelming feats and stuff. But nonetheless um it is a God's night it's um and they were successfully you know if they weren't there they're successfully taking over Elbath and stuff. So it's it's a feat nonetheless but and it's definitely good to see that they they were able to do it with ease. They're just like Josh said aura farming you know Jean Bay holding his head up by the hair Frankie tying tying him up Sanji sitting on the rest of the body like and they and they plotting on like Sanji thinking about trying to kill him well and down and even Sanji calls the holy knights out these are the holy knights that or these are the nights that protect the holy land who's Sanji feeling like who's Sanji feeling like man bro he's smoking a pack on top of his on top of his body bro diss and fish man and bro got you held up like this come on now shout out to the straw hats man yeah I think we got two strong come on Frankie too strong you got a little super mega colon bro they going they feel themselves even non son are we gonna more in depth with uh Dami and Zeus getting their their bonding moment as per usual after a big fight and stuff I love both of them yeah um and then boom Loki and Luffy appear and it's uh it's always good to see them reconnect like my one of my favorite ones from the past is like when Zorro randomly meets Luffy in the uh in the desert in Wano I just seen that like last week bruh and it just it just every time it makes me smile like Luffy's initial face like Zorro and Zoro's like Luffy yeah I love it I love it man I love when they when they reconnect after a little bit and that that was so random like they were both doing their off doing their own thing out of all of Wano they just stumbled upon each other first my captain what are you doing he I thought he was riding um with uh what's her name Tama Tama yeah and the dog cat tiger thing yeah um yeah saying saying him um excited to see see the crew top left uh I believe it's like we've heard this a couple times now Neptunian just keeps coming up this race of people I forget who mentioned it last time but now Jimbe's talking about it I know the Neptunians were the ones who wrote the um that ship right the big ass ship um and Fishman Island uh yeah I guess yeah yeah those are the ones who so they're like I mean I'm trying to just picture it the same that's like the the Sea King is that like the Sea Kings what the Neptunians Yeah we're I'm I'm I'm not I'm not a hundred percent sure what the I don't I don't know if we save no I don't think so I think the Sea Kings are just Sea Kings. I think the Neptunians are something that we haven't seen but we've just heard do you think King Neptune is just straight from Spongebob? What do you mean? King Neptune is like the known like you know you know how like yeah you know how like um it's the Roman like you know how Greek is Poseidon like Neptune is literally Poseidon in Roman so it's like the Roman god of the sea is Neptune. Gotcha and the Greek god of the sea is Poseidon so like he's an actual mytholog mythological like character he said is he straight from SpongeBob Bro that's like the only well known other King Neptune other than like the little mermaid I think yeah you're right but yeah it's an actual like the Roman it's the Roman god of the C that's funny um and then yeah who wait is that what yeah it's we're at the right part the conqueror herself Naomi spazzing on them um Nami's hilarious like she got the biggest balls but she's always like fight for me but she'll fight what she needs to but like yo when it's when it comes to telling Luffy off she don't care who's around she don't care what the situation is that's I love I love it. I love their relationship I mean she ain't wrong though she is not wrong with all that like once she sees Loki's with Luffy okay Loki what the hell are you doing?

SPEAKER_02

If you're not an op what the hell are you doing but yeah and then this we also get some more comedic relief I love this uh this this uh this is going crazy on social media right now bro it's one of the best panels like ever I got it saved to my phone to use later for a meme um and then the instant flip onto Loki that was I think that's hilarious. The lightning shape we have that person uh point that finger like when Nami's you got me in trouble man oh yeah Nami's gonna be a future conqueror I'm calling it guys but invest now but I ain't investing in no stocks that way I love Nami that might just be bad riding if she's a conqueror that might that might be bad riding no but uh Loki and Luffy having like a little bit of JJK um style encounter uh interaction here Loki turns on Luffy with a blast of lightning not knowing that Luffy's the rubber man and has already played these games before um but Loki questions just lightning yeah Loki questions like why it doesn't work and Luffy keeps it keeps it on the low not trying to reveal his um damn I lost the what's the what's it called in JJK your technique your technique what your curse technique or your yeah curse technique domain expansion but yeah keep it on the low you get like power up if you know their what's it called right that's how that works right if you know their cursed um technique you get like a power up right is that every time or is that just situational? I think it's situational but I know a Gojo does it can do it every time. Yeah he gets a power up from knowing that because he sought through Gojo.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah but come on bat like he's the only one the narrator the narrator get I think I think ghetto can do it too though okay I think there's like I think it's uh what's it called uh like a special grade technique yeah yeah okay but Luffy keep it on the low there for for the future I I fuck with that with for Luffy because I just that for me that just incites that Luffy might have to put pause on him down the line if he don't stay in line. Yes and no but I feel like this kind of like gave me a potential I'm not gonna say crew member but like him like ending up being a follower of Luffy just because like this moment kind of gives me the okay he tried to do that and Luffy just can just bajrong gun and just smack him smack some shits into him and then like and then like Loki would be like alright but you got it like similar to what I feel like potentially a fight with Shanks where I don't think like I feel like once Shanks was like show Loki like alright I'm still a little bit stronger than you Loki was by God I don't think Loki just completely just tried to comp go all out and crash out. Yeah but I don't know I mean that's just headcannon see also in the in the blast we get like uh the Nika like shadow I love the Joy Boy shadow whatever um but yeah that's all I got for that page yep moving on to Brooke and Gunko over the team Brooke Gunko and Usopp Usopp is having it might not be his arc but with how this ends and his grand old speech that he puts out it might bring a tear to me it might bring a tear when I watch it he's he's really pursuing that uh that warrior pride more than ever now we've seen him I don't think we've seen him this slow since Dreshrossa I mean yeah he hasn't he hasn't done anything since then yeah I uh I respected it I I did appreciate this woman a lot for for Usopp um stamp finally you know we we we've seen him waver before you know in wh in Wano he was quick like Nami had to snap it into his head that you know hold on Luffy is gonna be the king of the pirates we ain't gonna we we're not gonna say no otherwise and stuff like that. So like we've seen him waver a few times and you know that's ultimately his goal to become a brave warrior of the sea I was listening to someone else I heard them say like once he realizes that him just being a straw hat pirate is achieving his dream like he will be able to be like a more reliable person. Like even here even though he's not necessarily changing anything you know he's he's making that step to potentially do that. You know as long as he keeps that mindset. So we can go into the next page because he's still still giving his speech here but like just overall just seeing this change in heart of him especially you know inspired by Elbath and where he's at it's uh I won't say it might it'll it'll make me tear up because I just feel the way I do about Usopp but I don't I definitely appreciate it. I'm excited to to hear it and hear the the emotion behind it and stuff. Um one last point about Usopp then I'll let you talk about these next two pages is over the course of Elbath Usopp has his dream of what Elbath was has just been misproven time and time again since he's been to Elbath. You know they're not a bunch of warriors that are just clashing with each other and getting joy out of fighting like he was inspired by Dorian Braggie when he first met them so him getting uh to Elbath and seeing the change version that Harold pictured where kids are just learning about peace and trying to trying to become make peace with everybody and you know the warrior spirit the fighting spirit is kind of looked down upon it's almost been like a disappointment to Usopp and now seeing a little bit of that warrior spirit come back and then seeing how the way these holy knights are going about trying to take over Elbath it's like a big changing moment in Usopp and uh inspiration moments where he's like this is where not only Elbath being you know the weak portrayed you know abandon the warrior spirit like we all can re embrace that and and really take that step forward and becoming a braver Warrior of the sea. So like I do feel like this moment was huge for him. I just it's just Usopp.

SPEAKER_02

I also just want to piggyback on the fact that Usopp um I've been loving this art style on these past two panels with him. The other drove drove his drew his ass off, boy.

SPEAKER_03

Like the seriousness and the tone, like yeah, bro. Serious Usopp. Yeah, bro. I like it.

SPEAKER_02

It's really good, bro. Yeah, that's a good question. Last page, um Brooke with the sword through his chest is outrageous to me.

SPEAKER_03

It's funny because he's a skeleton, so it's like it's not causing him any pain, but it's like he's still got a sword through his chest.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um and the fact that he stepped, he's stepping up to try to defend Brooke. I also love that.

SPEAKER_01

Man, he don't even know what he's up against right now.

SPEAKER_03

He's just knows it's a threat and he's yeah. But nobody knows.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no one knows right now. Gabon knows. No, not even.

SPEAKER_04

Damn, I wonder if Gabon never seen her.

SPEAKER_03

Well yeah, she's she's who knocked him off the underworld.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, true. I'm saying back in the day though.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, probably not, I wouldn't imagine.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um I think I have one more thing to say about USAP real quick. But I think I forgot, so just keep going. I will say I got tripped up a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

Um on the left side of this page. One who rules not s uh sully their hands with such tawdry matters. Usopp shoots his skull blast grass.

SPEAKER_04

He is point blank looking at her. She shadow steps his ass.

SPEAKER_02

And it looks to be like he got stabbed in the back. What if Usopp just got flipped just now?

SPEAKER_03

Where do you see he got stabbed in the back?

SPEAKER_02

Like she's behind him, and you see like the the arrow, those are the arrows.

SPEAKER_03

This is cut right here. It's it's his face, is a zoom in on his face, and it's it's gunko.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, behind him now, right?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no, no, no. It's two different panels. It's his face as well as yeah, she she just blitzed, like she she blitzed him, like she ran, uh she closed the distance. So she was like going to take the shot regardless, but she knew it was gonna hurt him more than her because she could regenerate. So she just took the shot point blank to affect okay, gotcha. This I thought, no, I had the same issue when I first read it on my phone. It looked like I it looked like he she got behind him, but then I realized these were two small different panels here. Gotcha. Like one's a close up of Usopp's face, and then one's her right in his face. Like like he's shocked that she closed the distance so fast, pretty much, as he was shooting. Zoom in though.

SPEAKER_02

I want to see that is that her arrows? No, that's her.

SPEAKER_03

No. Um I also seen this uh seen this. So I think they said they were saying that Somers pointed out that ever since uh Gunko's was possessed, they never used the the arrows. Okay, like Summers was like, uh, since the great one's possessing uh she can't send her arrow because remember they were about to walk off the thing, and he was like, uh Gunko, use your arrows, and he was like, Oh yeah, you can't because the great one. So I don't think Gunko's abilities are hers right now, gotcha.

SPEAKER_02

Gotcha, gotcha. Yeah, I was like, did Usopp just get reversed? And she told him to fire or something because the speech problem comes from her side, so I was like, Yeah, I got lost there.

SPEAKER_03

I think I think that's also like I think that's that's Usopp's hand, like for his okay, his thing, and and that's her, like he's aiming right at her, and he's just saying fire. That's that's my interpretation of it, at least.

SPEAKER_02

Boom. She's almost nearly unaffected. She has a couple holes in her body, but nothing crazy. Um that panel of Brooke and Usopp Lying out there, that is kind of tough. You already know where this goes. You see a pin, you see something like this. Yep. Like, what what else would you expect, boy?

SPEAKER_03

These photo was drawing his ass off, man. Bro, yo, this this this pen this chopped up panel of uh Luffy, like his face, like realizing, like seeing the the boom and stuff and realizing what's going on. Man, a tone switch for gear five, too.

SPEAKER_02

Ah this is so yo, the freaking Ragnir is huge, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's a big ass squirrel on his head. Yo. Ragnir's about the same size as Gunko.

SPEAKER_04

Definitely probably bigger. I love this man.

SPEAKER_03

This whole this whole last like double spread. Everything about it. Luffy's Luffy's change of emotion. Uh you know it's I I I do like, you know, Luffy didn't even Luffy's being Luffy, he didn't even look at Gunko. He went straight to to and he seen Usopp and Brooke on the ground. And then and then he turns his attention to to Gunko.

SPEAKER_02

You already know where this is about to go, bro.

SPEAKER_03

This is kind of weird. I I was looking at this like the depth percep like how this is, because right here he's standing over both of them. Yeah at the bottom. But like here, they look so spread out, and he's landing next to Usab here, and it looks like Brooks all the way over here, but Brooks right there.

SPEAKER_04

But um Yeah, I got her surrounded. Huh? She's surrounded.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And and calm as calm as ever. Calm as can be. Um I wonder if if they if this was which I'm sure it it would be, I I would hope it still would be. But even if that was emo like physical body right in front of them, if they would still be as calm in that situation. Like I said, I do hope that they would be because I I want that from that care I expect that from their character, now just how they act. But um and one small thing I noticed while I was typing this summary out, Loki and Luffy both start with the L and Nika and Needhauger both start with the N. I just was like sure. Little little little I don't know, maybe maybe Loki or something. But um the fact that she or they address address them by their like god form names was cool. Yeah because neither of them Loki may know because uh obviously Jarul knew like the history of uh of it, but clearly Luffy doesn't really know. He's starting to, I think, be a little bit more in tune with what people are saying with Nika and Joy Boy a little bit more, but even this whole time he's kind of been oblivious to it.

SPEAKER_02

So like I will say I kind of feel like Luffy's matured a little bit in this arc for sure.

SPEAKER_03

He actually sat there and listened to the whole backstory. Um he hasn't completely just rushed into things, he's actually been fairly patient. This whole this whole arc, you know, he just he was like, I'm gonna just sit here and see what Loki can do.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. Exactly.

SPEAKER_03

And like um one thing I heard other someone else point out, he's been in his gear five form for a long, a long time now. Yeah, potential uh increase in his uh stamina or gear five, you know.

SPEAKER_01

I hope so, because right now he's going to yeah, it's not a good place to to fall out right now.

SPEAKER_03

But he doesn't look like he he's even like right now, it doesn't even seem like he's affected in a fatigued manner, like and that could be because he hasn't been fighting, he's just been in his form. But even the fact that he's holding this this long, I I do like that.

SPEAKER_02

Um feeling free.

SPEAKER_03

True Yonko, man. It's like every time it clicks in my head like this is a Yonko crew, bro. And that's a Yonko, right? Like, it it does make me feel good because it's like we're like, you know, them real them real power scaling is is about to about to come into place.

SPEAKER_02

Um this being the three people that Oda's talking about will meet soon.

SPEAKER_04

You think this is the three? Um I don't know. Because I've had I've had I've had different I've had kind of like could be like in my head I was like maybe Shanks, Blackbeard, Luffy, like final one piece race or final one piece like meeting.

SPEAKER_03

I've I've kind of I've just had different ideas about it. But this this is a good good trifecta that could be what he was talking about.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um moving forward, I just uh we we haven't heard we haven't have we got news about Loki's voice actor? I want to say we have.

SPEAKER_04

No, I think that was referring to Loki's theme song was was announced.

SPEAKER_03

I do know that, but I don't I don't know about voice actor.

SPEAKER_02

I know his like I think yeah, I think he just sat with No, oh it was the Shanks, uh Shamrock voice actor he picked out, yeah. Yeah, we're I just for this moment right here, forgiveness was never option. Both sum and dove, I know it's gotta go it's gotta go hard.

SPEAKER_03

And then and then emo, this battle will divide the world.

SPEAKER_04

Tough as hell.

SPEAKER_03

To be continued. Man! Um it's cra crazy enough, I initially wanted to give this an admiral um level episode just because towards the beginning I did feel like it was a little bit dragging one with the Domingoverse stuff. But overall, I do wanna I do wanna bump it up to a Yanko just because um even once we got past that, I mean, even that all that was cool, you know. I mean, we seen kind of the Zoro group do their thing for a little bit now. But once we got to to Chopper, I thought that would reveal like was pretty good, and pretty much from there I was like, I was enjoying it. The moment with Loki, Luffy, Nami, and Ragnir. I love like I was laughing pretty much this whole little portion. Usopp had his moment. I do like that these past two chapters, like a lot of the other um straw hats have been getting recognition, Brooke, with his little moments with Princess Shuri, potentially, or not potentially, what we have seen and what is still to come. Usopp's little stand-up moment, Chopper has his moment, um Frankie gets his his little power up, and then even you know, Sanji standing, taking out, killing him, all all all that little stuff was uh they all just kind of have showings, you know. Zeus, yep, so like which Nami didn't really get a good showing with Zeus so far because every time she's tried to use them, they've gotten counter distracted. But overall, I do like the showing that all of the straw hats are beginning to get in um Elbath, especially before the God Valley arc. I was like, damn, what does what's a like once we cut off and we went into God Valley? I'm like, yo, all the like weaker ones are on the surface level with everybody else, and all the strong ones is down down there, and then they all but they all are coming to hold hold their own in this situation. So I love that. I definitely I definitely give it a Yonko. Um, overall, the my my change of moment was this panel right here, bro. That was everything to me, bro. This shit was hilarious. I just died laughing laughing. I just turned the page, and that was the first thing I can see. It was just funny, man.

SPEAKER_02

Um I love the instant switch up there.

SPEAKER_03

That's so he just so one piece, and um, and then just like the stakes, the the stakes leading into next episode, and then finishing the chapter and seeing like next chapter in seven days. Oh my god, that was like I it was beautiful, it was beautiful. I I I definitely write that a Yanko. Give me your overall thoughts.

SPEAKER_02

Overall thoughts? I'm gonna give it a Yanko as well. Um, I was sold. I had fun reading this, um, especially from coming from the last chapters, which I felt were a little slower paced. Um they s we it was just the beginning of the action really starting to heat up and everything, so I give it to that. But as like as you said, the stakes are are here. I love I I love that Usa part. That scene animation is probably you know, might might be able to take me there.

SPEAKER_03

Um take me through there, take me through there.

SPEAKER_02

Um the chopper part, I'm just interested. I just you know, you know how I am. I just want more, bro. We gotta have a conversation or reveal maybe kind of.

SPEAKER_03

He's not gonna bring that up for a while.

SPEAKER_02

Something I need something soon, man. I need some more, maybe some more feats I'll be I'll be okay with.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I did wanna um mention a couple pages back with killing him and the guys and the straw hats, whatever. Yeah. He was he was threatening back.

SPEAKER_02

Like I just don't know, I don't want to downplay it yet. It could be fodder, but I don't want to downplay it back yet.

SPEAKER_03

In terms of what? Elaborate a little bit though.

SPEAKER_02

Like like their abilities maybe. Like when you're so maybe they're not as powered up right now and they might get like a buff.

SPEAKER_03

Well, here here's my small little counter to that.

SPEAKER_04

Regardless of that could be true, but that was still only hand in hand with their regenerative capabilities.

SPEAKER_03

Their individual devil fruits and stuff, I still feel like is an individual feat. Like, so if they do have a little bit of a power boost, whatever that may be, it still would have to be somewhat connected to Emu and the curse mark, which it could like we don't know if there's any other uh abilities that may come with it, but right now all we know is the regeneration. And I feel like that would be the only thing since that's all we have for their boost with being the covenant with Emu, and then obviously being able to be uh connected with him and stuff, but like that being the main perk of the the uh the curse or the the mark or whatever, that would be like the only thing that would really be affected by that. So I just don't know if because I think their own devil fruits like they should be you know they're as strong as their or their devil fruits are as strong as like the individual strings out of them. So that's my only thing. I feel like that threat was more so of like a email will do this type thing. If you mess with a god's night, like the the god will do this, or you know, that's that's how I kind of portrayed it. I did, you know, notice the threats and stuff, but I feel like he was making threats like, oh yeah, my don't let me don't let me call my daddy up here or something like that. You know, as a kid, like I can't beat your ass. My daddy can, like, like I that's that's kind of just how I looked at it. So, but maybe you know, there is always that potential that because like I've been watching, re-watching Bleach Thousand Thousand Year Blood War, and I'm not gonna spoil anything, but one of the main or even some of the soul reapers, but one of the main antagonists, or the main group of antagonists, um have certain abilities that they can unlock based on their specific traits of their uh type of character or whatever, and it's boosted based on certain scenarios and stuff. So I feel like that could play a role in emu's power over all of the gods knights and all of the people who have the the um covenant marks, so just potential in it, but yeah, overall Yanko episode. Any final thoughts on the chapter on the whole episode pod?

SPEAKER_02

The art was amazing. Like I really commend Oda for this. This is a very artistic, uh, well, fully well drawn arc um chapter.

SPEAKER_03
