Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Another episode of the All Things Nimaha Podcast is officially rolling in the SJ. I believe it is episode number 34. 34. 34. Here we go, yes, sir. By the minute, by the day, by the week. Here we are. Here we are. Coming to you with another phenomenal recap of the was, the is, and the will be for everything. All things. Nimahaw. That's right. And it's a special addition to some extent because it is Senior Showcase Wednesday. How's that been going, sir? It's early afternoon here. We've had several presentations knocked out already. You guys had the morning to kind of get your wits about you, get prepped, get ready to go. What's the vibe? What's the vibe in the uh senior showcase war room that is the main gymnasium with all you seniors sprawled out across the cafeteria table?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. You know, the vibes coming in, you know, some nerves definitely from uh probably everyone to some extent, you know. Me, I'm kind of one of those guys, I gotta get away from all that or else I start getting nervous too.
SPEAKER_04Uh so you can't. But so I guess I could see how maybe the anxiety from others that you weren't naturally feel, yeah.
SPEAKER_03If they're bringing that, maybe I was feeling that I had to leave, you know, and go off in my little hidey corner. But no, uh, you know, I got my uh presentation done, thought it was really good. You know, the the judges great, and just a big thank you to all the judges, you know, for coming um and just yeah, grading this this uh presentation and the and the projects as well. We've got some great projects uh looking through on the um on kind of the ledges there um in the in the um we've got the projects that can be displayed here in the building.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, in the building. Your fellow seniors brought them in, set them in front of the stage. Got a couple tables set up. Uh we do have some projects that made their way um to the parking lot. Yeah. Kind of all over you. Yep, yeah, just kind of all over. That's exactly right. And if we couldn't actually physically get the project here in the building, visual aid, a little presentation, definitely knock that out. But uh yeah, big thanks to all of our volunteers, community volunteers, along with the NCHS teaching staff. Um 50 presentations this year. We had 50 judges, you know. So that's some of our staff here, some of our thunder staff, but a lot of um volunteer effort from community members, people that took time out of their day, their professional personal lives to get in here and uh again just kind of uh continue to pump the value of the senior project experience. And they walk and they ask great questions.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they asked some great questions to me after I was done. What is the best question you got? Uh Mr. Honestly, this is the most the the funniest, I think. Uh Mr. Tat was like, so what was your favorite part about the project, Jaden? Like he immediately went to when I opened it up for questions, like he'd been preparing for that. It's just like such a you know simple question. But I mean, it is a good question too, because you know, my favorite part of the the whole, you know, my my senior project of uh doing a documentary for Northridge Church was just uh the interviews and and uh being able to talk like we are right now, actually. And then someone actually asked me about um you know my experience with the AT and podcasts and how um really words getting around we're doing around and we're doing it. The AT and listeners are out there.
SPEAKER_04We're finally in the mid-30s, right? There we go. And there are the listeners are out there. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, she was like, you know, how does that relate with the you know the interviews and whatnot? I'm like, that that's great because yeah, usually um you don't get too much experience doing interviews and whatnot. So this has been great. ATN has been great to me. Um and senior pro uh presentation's been pretty good so far. I feel a tremendous weight off my shoulders now. That's what I was gonna say.
SPEAKER_04All that yeah, it's all gravy from here on out, baby. Yeah, you know, we've got we've got a couple days left this week here, you know, which we'll get to when we talk about the will be in the world of all things, Nimahal. Uh, you got one more full week of school as a Thunder student, and then uh uh seniors are released on the 11th. But uh yes, uh it was a nice day off for your freshman through sophomore through junior peers. Uh, but you seniors have been here grinding uh and again kind of bringing this senior workshop slash project experience to a close. Uh but yeah, phenomenal commentary on that, sir. Thank you for uh kind of pulling back the curtain and uh letting our listeners in a little bit on the senior project experience and what it's all about. And uh we'll get the presentation schedule. I've got links to everybody's ePortfolio, their online digital website documentation of the senior projects. I'll probably get that pumped out tomorrow at some point in time across our social media platforms. But Jay, we got uh a little bit ahead of ourselves here because we've yet to even touch on the long list of the was in the world of all things Dima Hall. So, ladies and gentlemen, let's dive right in, jump back to last Thursday, where we had a lot of stuff on the agenda, most notably some varsity softball, some JV softball, some varsity baseball, and some middle school track, but all of that was postponed due to weather forecasts. So the varsity baseball and softball postponed to Tuesday matches against Holton, and then that middle school track NCMS at Wamigo moved to Tuesday as well. Nothing on Friday, nothing on Saturday or Sunday, a few real strange days off right there. But then we got back after it on Monday to an extent. We were supposed to go down to St. Mary's for varsity and JV Softball and varsity baseball, but they received five inches of rain. And uh we were not gonna be playing in the mud and amuck down at St. Mary's, so those games got pushed to next Tuesday, May 5th. We did have dry enough conditions though down at Western Hills for the JV golfers to get after it. They're gonna get after it. Yes, sir. They're gonna get after you. You cannot hold them JV golfers away from the course. So we had a little bit of uh two-man scramble action at Western Hills and the Rossville JV invite. Kendrick and Miles locked a 61, Baxter and Landon a 53, and taking fourth overall, Isaac Thomas and Jacoby Berman with a 46. Well done. Not too shabby. We were able to get other JV golfers into the Centralia JV invitational hosted here at home, right here in Seneca, it's a free golf course. So congrats to the team of Camden, Ian, Ben, and Gus. As they took second overall, paced by Gus Ruski with a score of 49. Wow. Good enough for third place as an individual here on his home course. Nice. Some nice stuff right there. Good stuff. So a little JB golf action in the bag from this past Monday, the 27th. Middle school tracks. Middle school. We're able to get after it. And we're talking both schools because it was the annual NCMS Invitational. Yep. A big meet, seven squads, Royal Valley, Hiawatha, Nimahal Central, SPPS, Donovan West, and Axtel. So a lot of kids at this meet this past Monday. And that bad boy just ripped right through. Jay, highlight for us some of the top performances. We've got individual champions here that we're going to run down the list of. And let's kick it off with the seventh grade boys.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, seventh grade boys starting off with Eli Leaguer getting first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 1331. Speed, baby. Also some speed, some long distance speed. Glenn Strothman in the 3200 with a time of 13 minutes and 17 seconds. And then Gracie Free. Grayson Free uh shot put. He got his put.
SPEAKER_04That was a little slip there. You know, his boys are going to hear that, and I don't know if he's ever not going to be called Gracie for the rest of his life.
SPEAKER_03Gracie Gracie. I don't know if he's nicknamed that. My bad, Grayson. Grayson Free. Better be careful. Grayson's bigger than you and I both. That is true. You gotta be careful there, Joe. Uh, with a throw of he won with a throw of 34-um nine. And then Keegan Richardson in the discus uh won with a throw of 93-5. Then Quentin Clean, first in javelin with a throw of 77-4 and a half. And then Simon Strothman finally for the boys with a high jump of five foot.
SPEAKER_04So we had the four by Yeah, yeah, really solid performances there. The four by one team from SPPS of Camden Kowaki, Simon Strontman, Wiley Bergman, and Eli Leaguer. A first place time of 5278. And then the SPPS boys also claimed first in the four by four hundred meter relay with a time of four minutes and twenty-two seconds. And that was Grayson Free, Wiley Bergman, Camden Kowaki, and Simon Strontman as well. Good job, seventh grade boys. This past Monday here at home in Seneca at the NCMS Invitational. Uh keep rolling through the eighth grade boys, J.
SPEAKER_03Eighth grade boys. Here we go. Ethan Jost, uh first and 3,200 meter run with time of 1152. We had Grady Schmelzley. I was actually witnessing the. You were working the javelin. I was working the javelin, and I uh witnessed the throw of 111, good enough for first place. So congrats, Grady. And then uh Jonah Bergman, first in the triple jump with a jump of 35 feet. Then Malachi uh Barrett, Dustin Knowles, Brentley, fan and steel. There you go. I know that one. I know that one. And then Abbott Sullivan, uh, all first in the four by four meter relay with a time of four twelve.
SPEAKER_04Nice stuff there. Gentlemen on the ladies' side. Ladies side. In the seventh grade division, Emerson Novotney had herself a day taking first place in the 100-meter dash with a 1456, the 400-meter dash with a minute seven and the long jump with a jump of 13 feet five and a half inches. Three golds. Nice job, Emerson. Harley Schmitz from SPPS took first in the 800 meter with a time of 245 and the high jump, jumping a height of four feet and four inches. Ivy Hynan was first in the 1600 meter relay retail, excuse me, 1600 meter run. So in the mile, logging a time of 614. And guess what? She left her seventh grade boy counterparts in the dust while standing down there on that final curve. And that's when she just uh kind of left some of the classmates get it, girl. In her wake. Nice stuff, Ivy. Ellie Burkett took first in the shot put with a throw of 30 feet six inches. Congrats to Josie Steinloggy from Peat and Paul. First in the disc with 72-3. Cameron Carlson in a triple jump, 28 feet six and three quarters an inch. And then we had the NCMS team of Halle Heidemann. Kyler Hill. Emerson Novotney and Sawyer Lutz taking first in the four by four with a time of four minutes and fifty-five seconds. Seventh grade gals for the eighth grade gals. First place finishes include Kenley Kramer in a 400 meter with a minute six. Violet Rige in the mile with a 6'11. Lillian Dieters in the shot put and discus. Shot put and discus, 38 feet 9 and 3 quarters of an inch for the shot and the discus, 97 feet 8 inches. Emmy Monier. Hoisted that javelin. Hoist. Hoist, yeah. Chucked. I like hoist. Hoist, hoist hoisted that javelin with a throw of 98 feet four inches. Olivia Bergman claimed first in the triple jump, 32-2. And then a four by two hundred meter relay from NCMS. The team of Logan Honeyman, Lillian Deaters, Tatum Snyder, and Maggie Sudbeck logged a two minute and one second time. Overall, as teams, the Pete and Paul seventh grade boys took first. Congrats to them. The NCMS boys placed third. NCMS eighth grade boys third. SPPS eighth grade boys fifth. Pete and Paul seventh grade girls first. NCMS seventh grade girls second. So a little battle there for first place between the two squads. And then the NCMS eighth grade girls tied for first while the Pete and Paul girls took fourth. Full day. Full day this past Monday.
SPEAKER_03Full day.
SPEAKER_04And they are out there. I think uh students started showing up around 1.30, 145. Uh, and I believe the meet was over uh and people were walking in the door at home right around eight o'clock or so. So not bad.
SPEAKER_03I'm telling you, we run the best meets, man. And again, that's uh we've already said it before, but just hats off to all the again, the volunteer uh work from you know everyone around the community, uh just a great running meet. So um also shout out to my mom who was the announcer. Announcer.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, maybe maybe you doing this stuff behind the mics giving her the the confidence. I know, right? Uh the the push over the ledger to just gonna jump into this stuff.
SPEAKER_03She said it was a lot, but it's uh you gotta stay on top of things.
SPEAKER_04You gotta stay on top of things, that is for sure. Hey, Tuesday, that'd be yesterday, as we're recording here, Wednesday afternoon, April 29th, Tuesday. Yesterday, uh, we had quite a bit going on. All right, and I'll tell I'll start off with this here. The Thunder Varsity Golf team is cooking, man.
SPEAKER_03Cooking.
SPEAKER_04All right, you know, we we talked about the Scholars Bowl squad throughout this year and the forensics team just, you know, like adding another one. Yeah, and another one, right? Okay, Thunder Varsity Golf.
SPEAKER_03Real.
SPEAKER_04Yes, in Fuego. All right. Boys went down to Cypress Ridge again in Topeka, this time for the St. Mary's Invitational. The squad finished second overall, just two strokes behind Meet Champion Santa Fe Trail, who's having a stellar year as well. Um, top three in the state right now in class three A as a team. But we finished 12 strokes ahead of Sabetta and a full 19 strokes ahead of Perry LeCompton. So some solid stuff there as a squad. Individually, top 25 placers were Leighton Thomas in second, Colton Corby third. So two of our boys in the top three right there. Brady Cook 11th, and Drew DeSwarmiers coming in at 25th, baby. My boy Drew. And you log four scores. So good stuff. They're all four of our log scores in the top 30, the top 25. Uh, reason that we are finishing so highly up there as a team. Good job, Thunder Varsity Golfers. Thunder Tracksters, Jay, U.S. score to the track. Team over to Sebetta yesterday for some quad action with the Holton Wildcats, Perry Lecomte Calls, and Sebetta Blue Jays. Tell us a little bit about what went down.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so the uh boys, uh, just some overall finishes here. The boys finished third out of four teams, while the ladies claimed another meet title. And another. Congrats to the varsity girls. Um, some individual highlights include Kenzie Moniere, first in the discus with a throw of 89,6 feet uh inches there. Then Allie Henry first in the javelin, throwing 125 feet, four inches. Peyton Herter, first in the high jump with a jump of four ten. And then Courtney Stahlbomer first in the triple jump with a jump of 32, 4.5. Um, and then Meg Honeyman had herself a day, ladies and gentlemen. The sophomore placed first in the 100-meter run with a time of 1383, 200 meter run with a time of 28-27 in the long jump champion with a jump of 15-10 and three quarters. And then, not only topping that, but also anchored in the uh first place four by one team consisting of herself, Kaylee Madey, Bailey Snyder, Courtney Stahlbomber, and Meg. Uh, all finishing with a time of 539.
SPEAKER_04Nice stuff. Good day over there, and Sebetha. Good day over there, and Sebetha keep up the grind. High school Thunder Tractors. Uh, sticking with uh the track theme here, let's jump down to Wamigo. Uh, we noted that that meet had been postponed for the NCMS track team. They traveled to Wamigo yesterday, uh, got some sun. It was a little cool out, but they got plenty of sun. If you uh bumped into any of them today, all of them are definitely a little red. Just a little red in Mr. Tack. I didn't notice that when he asked that question to you in your presentation. Uh might be a bit sun-kissed. All right. Uh so huge meat down there, right? Uh they're with the likes of Wamigo, Rock Creek, Abilene, Riley, Clay, Center, Chapman, Concordia. And again, we're we're two middle schools. We're not one three middle school, we're two one a two a middle schools, you know. Uh so here we are competing against squads that are three to four times our size. Wow. Uh so not a lot of top individual performances. We did have one individual champion. Shout out to eighth grader Lillian Dieters, took first in the shot put with a hoist of 39 feet and nine inches. Great job, Lillian. Uh, rescheduled varsity baseball against Holton did take place at Swisherfield. We're also supposed to play varsity softball, but Seneca West and Pearson, they weren't going to be ready in time. So we punted that, booted that to this Friday, May 1st. But varsity baseball was able to get in. Big shout out to the uh ball players and the coaching staff and anybody else that helped to get Swisherfield ready over the last couple of days, so we could get that contest in. And the boys did not disappoint. All right, uh, in the breezy, chilly afternoon and evening air of Seneca, Kansas, the gentlemen were able to get two dubs. They took game one by a score of seven to six, jumped on Holton early with a six-run second inning, and then kind of just clung on to dear life uh down the home stretch there, but we're able to secure a victory in game one and then got a 10-run run rule victory in the top of the sixth and game two with a phenomenal, phenomenal ending, right? So, you know, you you're you're gonna you're gonna finish the game with that run rule, you know. But there was a a phenomenal relay from left field in the short down to Levi Thomas. He kind of bobbled it. Runner is sliding, it bounces out of his glove, but he barehands it and then attacks the runner with the barehanded tag. It was beautiful. Yeah, it was beautiful. So a little bit of bang, bang, bang, bang, boom, over, yeah, 11-1. Got that game to dub. So it was a sweep of the Holton Wildcats for the varsity Thunder baseball team. Yes, it's gonna feel good. Most definitely did. Varsity Softball, as we said against Holton, was bumped to Friday, and that brings us to a close for the was in the world of all things Nemo Hall, Jay. Yeah. Wow. I think we'll take a quick little break. Quick little break. And we'll be back with a little water. A little water. We've talked senior showcase, you know. Yeah. Uh, but we'll get uh a little break in here real fast, and we come back. We'll talk uh briefly on the is and then quickly get through the will be. You're listening to the all things Nemo Hall podcast with Mr. Williams and Jaden Seites. We'll be right back after this.

SPEAKER_02So thank you for investing your time in us.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for protecting the integrity of the game, no matter what.

SPEAKER_03Bringing you back on in on the All Things Nima Hall Podcasts. Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_04It only took us 37 episodes, but we're starting to get in sync with that. Right? Not even having to look at each other. Usually it's kind of like intense stare. Yeah, point finger points. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but uh yeah. Hey, welcome back in. Yes. Yes, and talking about the is and the will be in the world of all things, Nimahal. As we've already noted, kind of at the beginning of this episode, uh, senior project presentations are taking place. It is Senior Showcase Wednesday here on the ATN, here at NCHS. And just again, a phenomenal uh celebration of your class and your efforts throughout this year and just the overall experience that is the senior project. Um, we've got one item taking place later tonight, though, and as we noted on last week's podcast, it is the Nimahaw Central K Club installation. Uh so this is when it's a Cyanora. Thank you, senior officers. Adios, let's bring in next year's crew. So that's gonna get going at 6:30 tonight here at NCHS in the commons. Congrats to those outgoing officers and good luck to those incoming officers here on the NCHS K Club. Getting into the will be Thursday for the world of all things, Dima Hall. Thursday, SPPS, the Trojan Tracksters, are gonna head over to Riverside and Swathina to compete in their annual middle school invitational. And it's senior night here in Seneca for Thunder Baseball and Thunder Softball. We're gonna go ahead and recognize our Thunder baseball seniors before game one at Swisher Field, so approximately 415, 420. And then we'll recognize our Thunder Senior Softball players after game one of that softball doubleheader. Uh, approximately 615. Just kind of depends on how the game goes. They're at Seneca West. So please make it a point to get out tomorrow night. Weather is gonna be nice, field is gonna be dry, action is gonna be had, and cheer on those varsity teams at Swisher and Seneca. West and we got JV Softball action happening down at Pearson starting at 4 30. So good luck, Thunderball players. Friday, Jay. Friday.
SPEAKER_03Fill us in, baby. All right, after several days off, varsity and JV Softball again resuming action. JV Softball getting back on the diamond with two contests against Sebetha. The girls will take on Holton at 4 30 p.m., followed by a rivalry game against against Sabbath. And then varsity softball will play host to the Holton Lady Wildcats at Seneca West. First pitch scheduled for 4.30 p.m. And then JV Baseball traveling over to Rossville for just a single game starting at 4.30. And then the Thunder Varsity will host Marysville for a single contest starting at 5 p.m.
SPEAKER_04A lot of action, baby. You can't go wrong. Whether you want to get on the road, head over to Sbathan, catch some JV softball, stay at home here, get a little varsity softball, a little varsity baseball. Or if you just need to go down to the Pika, uh run some errands, you know, stop by uh Campbell Stadium there in Rossville and check out the JV baseballers because they take on them dogs down south. So busy Friday. A lot of baseball, a lot of softball happening Friday, May 1st. Oh, it's May Day too. Do you do you take part? Do you take part? Well, it's May 1st. Do you take part in any of that? Do you do any of the May Day baskets? No.
SPEAKER_03Not really, no. Never been a I was never that guy either. Maybe May the 4th. You know, that that's coming up on the you know, the will be, but not really May Day. I'm not a May Day guy. Fair enough. Fair enough.
SPEAKER_04Uh you'll be jumping in a big yellow bus. We will tomorrow afternoon. Not tomorrow afternoon. Friday afternoon, excuse me. I'll be jumping in uh a school vehicle. Oh, you will? Oh, you're coming down again. Yeah, I'll supervise a little bit there. Uh but uh reasoning is Thunder Forensics on Saturday, May 2nd. We'll head down to Mays High School in North Wichita and compete in the State Forensics Tournament. Good luck to Olivia, Shannon, Catherine, Vivian, our guy Jay, Fabrizio, Logan, Liam, Ella, Danica, Cadence, Emma, Cora, Leah, Taylor, Mackenzie, Hope, Natalie, Wrigley, Zoe, Emma, and Bella. A lot. That's a lot. A full squad. A full squad. Thanks to Miss Haney, uh, Mr. Felder, and all of our other volunteers that are gonna make the trip down to help judge or just again chaperone this uh uh large event. Large event. Okay. But good luck to all of those Thunder Forensics participants, either in State Champs or State Festival. But looking for a great day for Thunder Forensics this Saturday down at Mays.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's gonna be a good one. We actually um, you know, last w last year we wore pink as our kind of like our overall theme for uh dressing up. This year, come with the classic purple and blue. So uh really excited, um, proud to see the you know the colors shine on through at Maze. Let's do it. And let's do it. Let's get some dubs, Thunder Forensics.
SPEAKER_04Sunday, May 3rd, State FFA kicks off for the Thunder FFA. All right. Good luck to our FFA state competitors of Cora, Harry, and Bob Langill. The terrific trio right there. Uh Cadence Bussing, Jade Mackey, Corey Stukey, Cannon Sedbeck, Ben Sedbeck, Jack Mackey, Ella Sork, Danica Wertz, and Carson Edelman. They will all be competing uh not every day, but some combination of that group, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of next week at State FFA in Manhattan. Uh so good luck to them and big thanks again to Matt Stahlbaumer, our FFA sponsor. Uh Monday, May 4th. May the 4th be with you. May the 4th be with you, man. Yeah, I guess I'm a Star Wars uh fan. I'm just I don't know if I'm as big of a Star Wars nerd as you are.
SPEAKER_03See, I'm not I'm not actually a Star Wars nerd. Oh, really? Not really, no. Okay. I just I just thought that was really cool that it's May the 4th. I'm like, oh wow, I might I might low-key celebrate that.
SPEAKER_04I thought this would have been like an attachment to maybe some of your most favorite or or prized Lego sets. You know, like you're a big Star Wars Lego guy. I wish.
SPEAKER_03I you know, I didn't get into Legos until late.
SPEAKER_04Um, so yeah, I was a little late to the game, but so for those of you out there that are really geeked out about the May the 4th and Star Wars. Good for you to incorporate. Yeah, congrats. Looking forward to you having a great Monday out there, all right?
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_04Okay, may the fourth be with you and enjoy, enjoy a wonderful Monday next week. Uh, but we do have a couple of things going on. Varsity Boys Golf, gonna try to stay hot, heading down to Holton. Stay hot down in Holton, the Wildcat invitational down there. Uh 1 p.m. tip tip time, tea time for the Wildcat invite. Keep up the great work and good luck, boys. And then varsity softball and baseball, gonna roll east, just varsity level, gonna roll east over to Hiawatha to take on the Red Hawks. 4:30 p.m. first pitch for both of those double headers. And that softball facility is now adjacent to Noble Park. So you can see Noble Park from Highway 36 right there. Okay. Uh the softball facility, brand new softball facility. They're actually going to have their official um opening. All right. Uh that ceremony is going to happen, I think, about 4 p.m. Wow on Monday. So uh taking on the Highwaith Redhawks and some varsity baseball and softball action. Opening night from Monday almost kind of, yeah. They've been playing there, but yeah, it's a ceremonial uh first pitch, if you will, at their brand new uh facility, softball facility, right adjacent to Noble Park. Good luck, Thunder Softball and Baseball Teams. Tuesday, single day mile.
SPEAKER_03That is true. Which means I'm probably just gonna try to get some chips in the middle. Those are fun, yeah. That's good stuff. And then Mrs. Bass would, you know, teach us some Spanish. We wouldn't understand it. And uh here we are. Cinco de Mayo. You know, hey, some some additional. So, yeah, if you didn't celebrate May the 4th, right? Celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Get yourself some salsa like you just said.
SPEAKER_04You know, but just get learned it. Get learned it. All right, dive into a little bit of history behind it, okay? Because it's not it's not as if it's like the Mexican Independence Day or anything. Right. All right, it's kind of a recognition of some some previous uh uh military servicemen, some some prior celebratory action on some victories, etc. But uh still uh kind of one of those things where maybe made uh a lot more of by uh certain subcultures than the culture it's attached to. Question mark? I'm not 100% sure. But single de mile is Tuesday. Yep. Um we got a handful of things, okay? Varsity Boys Golf going back to back. So they got Holton on Monday. They're gonna roll over to the Marysville Country Club on Tuesday to compete in the Bulldog invitation on 1 p.m. tip time. Tee time. Deep time for that as well.
SPEAKER_03Tell us about JV Baseball. JV Baseball is set to play a single game at Swisher Field against Royal Valley, taking on the Panthers, while all other teams, baseball and softball, travel to St. Mary's for that makeup game. Uh 4.30 is the first pitch for all around softball and baseball. And then Nimaha Central High School is hosting their final meet of the year, uh, this being the NCHS dual meet. Field events are slated to begin at 3 p.m. while running events start promptly at 5 30 p.m.
SPEAKER_04Tip times of 3 and 5 30.
SPEAKER_03Some tip times there. Uh we'll also have senior night recognition uh for myself and the other senior tracksters before running events begin. So show up if you can. Should be a good meet. Yeah, should be a really entertaining meet.
SPEAKER_04Um, nine schools, nine schools in attendance, uh JV and varsity. So that's what we call it a dual meet, right? Uh so gonna be a lot of action. And again, looking at the weather continuing to improve over the next several days. So fingers crossed, uh, I know we need the rain, but fingers crossed that it happens at the right time. We're still able to get all these events in in a timely fashion here in our short, shortening spring sports season window. All right. Uh Wednesday, next Wednesday, May 6th. It's band and vocal night here at NCHS. We're gonna have the Thunder Band and Thunder Singers, all right, uh, have their little band and vocal concert. It's gonna start at 7:30.
