What if the very thing standing between you and the life you desire is what you’re unwilling to let go of?

In this deeply personal and powerful episode, Akashic Soul Healer Nicole Mixdorf shares why release is the first step to every level of transformation—whether you’re calling in healing, abundance, clarity, purpose, love, or ease.

Nicole opens up about her own year of intense shedding, identity death, and rebirth—from stepping publicly into her role as a healer after 13 years in the corporate wellness world, to navigating serious physical setbacks right as she launched the HEALED podcast. Through it all, one truth became undeniable:

✨ You cannot receive more until you release what no longer serves you.

In this episode, you’ll explore:

  • Why holding on creates energetic, emotional, physical, and spiritual blocks
  • How old identities and belief systems quietly sabotage manifestation
  • Why endings, symptoms, and setbacks are often invitations—not failures
  • The imbalance between masculine (doing) and feminine (receiving) energy
  • Why clearing energetic cords from the past frees your life force
  • How forgiveness and release restore clarity, momentum, and alignment

This is more than a conversation—it’s a transmission. If you’ve felt heavy, stuck, or like something in your life is ready to end so something better can begin, this episode is your permission slip.

✨ Release what weighs you down.
✨ Make space for what’s meant for you.
✨ Step into your highest timeline.

Welcome back, beautiful soul.
This is Nicole Mixdorf. I’m an Akashic Soul Healer and intuitive guide, and today we are going to talk about what it really means to release and let go so that you can set yourself free — and receive what is meant for you.

Letting go is one of the most important things we can do in our lives, and honestly, it’s the one thing that blocks people more than anything else.

As we move through difficult experiences — pain, heartbreak, disappointment, loss, trauma — we often don’t allow those experiences to fully move through us. Instead, we hold onto them. We hold it… and hold it… and hold it.

And that holding becomes the block.

That resistance is what creates illness, stagnation, confusion, and disconnection. It creates energetic clutter — emotional baggage, mental overload, physical tension, and spiritual disconnection.

When we hold onto the past, it touches every layer of our being:
The physical body.
The emotional body.
The mental body.
The energetic body.
And the spiritual body.

When you’re ready to level up in your life — whether that’s calling in greater success, a new career, improved health, deeper relationships, clearer communication, or simply more peace — you cannot do that without letting go first.

Release is always the first step.

If there’s something you’re looking to manifest as we approach this new year, it’s imperative to get clear about what needs to go so you can make space for what’s trying to come in. Because when everything is cluttered, there’s no room for anything new.

This is why clearing your physical space is such a powerful practice. When you donate, purge, or release what you’re no longer using, you immediately feel lighter. That same principle applies internally — in your thoughts, your emotions, your energy, and your spirit.

I invite you to take a moment to reflect on this past year and everything you’ve been through. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably amazed at how quickly this year flew by.

For me, this was a heavy year. A deeply transformative year.

I’m recording this in 2025, and the year began with massive fires here in Los Angeles. My family had to evacuate our home, and I personally know nine people who lost their homes. It was intense. Add to that the inauguration, collective upheaval, and massive energetic shifts — it felt like endings and beginnings colliding all at once.

Then we entered the Lunar New Year — the Year of the Snake — a year symbolizing shedding, releasing, and rebirth. I leaned fully into that energy.

This became the year I chose to step forward publicly as a healer.

For the last 13 years, I’ve run an award-winning corporate wellness company called Balance by Nature. I’ve supported thousands of employees across global organizations, delivered over 5,000 wellness events, and taught more than 30 masterclasses on wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable balance.

At the same time, I was on my own healing journey — navigating chronic illness and working with more than 60 healing modalities. Many of those modalities became part of the corporate wellness programs I delivered, but I always stripped out the spiritual language.

In corporate spaces, we don’t chant. We don’t talk about chakras. We don’t frame things spiritually. Everything is grounded in science, nervous system regulation, and performance.

But when I began doing Akashic healing work, there was no way to remove the spiritual element — because this work is soul-level healing.

So I hid it.

I healed people quietly, privately, through referrals, behind the scenes. Powerful shifts happened. Miracles happened. But early this year, it became clear that I couldn’t continue that way.

I was being called to step into a new identity — and that meant burning down an old one.

That was terrifying.

I had spent years in a B2B model. I wasn’t used to being visible. I wasn’t used to sharing my story publicly. I wasn’t used to trusting that my work would reach the right people.

And as I stepped into that new identity, old wounds surfaced — including the witch wound. Many healers carry this fear rooted in past lifetimes where it was unsafe to be seen for their gifts.

I did deep Akashic work clearing past-life trauma, broken soul contracts, belief systems, lost soul fragments, energetic cords — all of it. Because I knew I couldn’t become who I was meant to be unless those layers were released.

Here’s the truth:

If there is something you want that you haven’t been able to achieve, it’s because the version of you that could achieve it hasn’t fully emerged yet.

An old identity has to die first.

Every layer you release makes you lighter. Clearer. More intuitive. More aligned.

And yet, right as I prepared to launch my podcast HEALED, I became very sick — bleeding ulcers resurfaced after years of wellness. The timing was ironic and confronting.

All my fears came rushing in. “Who am I to teach healing if this is happening?”

But those fears surfaced because they needed to be released.

Eventually, the message that came through was simple and profound:
I didn’t need to do anything to heal.
I needed to allow myself to heal.

I had been living too much in masculine energy — pushing, forcing, controlling — and not enough in feminine energy: receiving, allowing, magnetizing.

When I rebalanced those energies, gave myself permission to receive healing, my body responded almost immediately. Within days, the symptoms disappeared.

That experience changed everything.

Every experience leaves energetic residue. Trauma creates cords — attachments that drain our life force. Clearing those cords is essential if we want to move forward freely.

The world needs us showing up fully expressed, healed, and aligned.

And this year — numerologically a 9 year — has been about completion. Endings. Letting go.

If something ended for you this year — a relationship, a job, a version of yourself, your health — it wasn’t punishment. It was redirection.

Sometimes rejection is protection.
 Sometimes loss is liberation.

The moment we release what we’re clinging to, inspiration flows.

I experienced this firsthand when a major corporate contract ended — and instead of fear, I felt relief. The moment I cleared that energy, creative ideas poured in.

I began praying a prayer that shifted my entire life:

“Dear God, I give you my life and ask you to design it in a way that delights my mind, heart, and soul — allowing me to fulfill my divine purpose for my highest good, my family’s highest good, and the highest good of all.”

Be warned — when you pray that prayer, things may fall away quickly. But whatever leaves was never meant to stay.

You cannot receive more until you release first.

And as I released my old identity, my life became easier. This healing work flows effortlessly. It lights me up. It feels aligned.

So I ask you now:

What are you ready to let go of?
 What identity no longer fits?
What fear is holding you back?

When you shift internally, your external world rearranges to support you.

Release the baggage.
 Raise your frequency.
Step into who you came here to be.

Thank you for allowing me to ignite your soul. I am here to support you — every step of the way.
