Welcome back, beautiful soul. I'm your host, Nicole Mixdorf, an Akashic healer and intuitive guide.
Today we're going to dive into how we can balance our divine masculine and divine feminine energies.
Every single one of us carries both masculine and feminine energy within us. This isn't about gender — it's about energetic qualities that exist in all of nature and within every human being.
When these energies come together in balance, they create divine union — the energy of pure creation and potential.
These energies live within our chakra system.
The solar plexus, which sits just above the belly button, is our power center. This is the source of our divine masculine energy within the body. It represents strength, drive, and action.
Masculine energy helps us move forward. It's the energy of doing. It pushes us to take action, build things, create structure, and move projects forward.
This energy is incredibly useful when you're working on something important — growing a business, leading a team, building a vision, or creating something new in the world.
But the feminine energy operates differently.
The feminine energy lives in the sacral chakra, which sits just below the belly button. This is the seat of creativity, intuition, magnetism, and flow.
Where the masculine pushes forward, the feminine attracts.
It's the energy of ease, receiving, allowing, and trusting that things can flow toward you rather than forcing them into existence.
Both energies are powerful. Both are necessary.
The masculine creates structure and direction.
The feminine fills that structure with life, creativity, and flow.
When they're balanced, they support one another beautifully.
But when they become distorted or out of balance, that's when challenges begin.
An embodied masculine energy provides protection, direction, leadership, and healthy structure.
But a distorted masculine can show up as aggression, control, dominance, and force.
Likewise, an embodied feminine energy brings intuition, emotional intelligence, creativity, and deep wisdom.
But when the feminine becomes distorted, it can show up as chaos, victimhood, lack of boundaries, or emotional overwhelm.
Neither of these distorted expressions serve us.
The goal is integration.
The goal is to embody both energies in balance.
Because when masculine and feminine energy come together within us, they create the energy of divine union — pure creative power.
I'll share a little bit of my own experience with this.
About a year ago, I went through a powerful training with one of my teachers where we did deep work to rewrite both the masculine blueprint and the feminine blueprint within our energy field.
This process involved healing the father wound, healing the mother wound, and for women, doing womb healing as well.
Through this work, I realized something really profound.
For most of my adult life, I had been living primarily in my masculine energy.
Before starting my corporate wellness company, I spent a decade in the corporate world working my way up through business development and sales.
My work involved pitching clients, closing deals, training sales teams, and organizing large conferences.
It was very much an energy of doing.
Taking action.
Making things happen.
Driving results.
And when I became an entrepreneur and started building my own company, that masculine energy only intensified.
Because building a business requires a lot of action — creating opportunities, growing a team, bringing in clients, and expanding your reach.
What I didn't realize at the time was how exhausting it can be to live in that energy constantly.
When we are always pushing, controlling, and forcing outcomes, our nervous system stays activated in the sympathetic state — what we know as fight-or-flight.
And our bodies are not meant to live there all the time.
In fact, we cannot heal when we're in that stress response.
Looking back at the chronic illness I battled for 15 years, I can see how much my nervous system was stuck in that hyper-vigilant state.
I was always trying to control everything.
And honestly, I wasn't even aware I was doing it.
But when I went through this training and rewrote my feminine blueprint, everything began to change.
I started to understand what it truly meant to embody feminine energy.
The idea that I could let go of forcing.
That I could release the need to control every outcome.
That I could shift into an energy of flow.
Instead of chasing opportunities, I could magnetize them.
Instead of forcing results, I could align with my authenticity and allow the right opportunities to come toward me.
One of the biggest lessons for me was learning how to receive.
I've always been a giver.
I give and give and give.
But receiving was uncomfortable.
Asking for help was uncomfortable.
Delegating tasks was uncomfortable.
I wanted to do everything myself because I believed that if I did it myself, it would be done exactly the way I wanted it.
But that mindset doesn't empower anyone.
It doesn't empower your team.
It doesn't empower your relationships.
And it certainly doesn't empower you.
Part of my healing involved womb healing.
As women, we carry so many inherited stories and emotions in the womb space.
We carry generational pain.
We carry ancestral shame.
We carry our own personal experiences.
For me personally, I had three miscarriages and two C-section births. So there was physical and emotional scarring in that area of my body.
And when I began doing healing work in the womb space, it allowed me to release layers of pain that I didn't even realize I was carrying.
Letting go of that density was incredibly liberating.
As the feminine energy began to rise within me, I felt more connected to my truth than ever before.
I began trusting my intuition more deeply.
I began owning my value in a way I hadn't before.
I began allowing life to support me rather than feeling like I had to do everything on my own.
Because we are all remembering something right now.
We're remembering our divine nature.
And part of that remembering involves releasing stories and belief systems that were never truly ours.
For women, many of those stories relate to our cycles.
There was a time when women were deeply connected to the rhythms of the moon and the wisdom of their own bodies.
The menstrual cycle was understood as a powerful time of intuition and inner knowing.
It was a time of reflection and spiritual connection.
But somewhere along the way, that wisdom was replaced with shame.
Instead of honoring the feminine body as sacred, it became something to hide or feel embarrassed about.
But the truth is, the feminine body is pure creation.
Even menopause, which is often framed as the end of something, is actually a powerful rite of passage.
When the blood no longer flows outward, that wisdom becomes internalized.
It rises from the sacral chakra into the heart and eventually into the throat to be expressed as truth and wisdom in the world.
It's the embodiment of the wise woman.
But again, society has often framed that transition in a negative way rather than honoring it as an initiation.
As I continued this healing journey, I also discovered deep wounds connected to my masculine energy.
My father passed away ten years ago from cancer, and he was my best friend.
There was so much grief that I had been holding.
And through this work, I realized that I had taken on many of his wounds and struggles as if they were my own.
Releasing that grief and forgiving where forgiveness was needed was incredibly powerful.
Because the way we experience masculine and feminine energy often comes from our early experiences with caregivers.
Our relationship with our mother shapes how we understand feminine energy.
Our relationship with our father shapes how we understand masculine energy.
If those energies were imbalanced in childhood, we often carry those imbalances into adulthood.
This is work that I often help clients explore within the Akashic Records.
We can look at where energy might be blocked in the body.
If the sacral chakra is blocked, it can prevent you from receiving, from flowing, from trusting life.
If the solar plexus is blocked, it can impact your ability to take action, feel confident, or step into your power.
When those energy channels are clear, both masculine and feminine energy can flow naturally.
And that's when things begin to shift.
For me, integrating these energies completely changed the way I live and work.
It's not about abandoning masculine energy.
It's about balancing it.
You still take action.
You still create structure.
But you also allow intuition, flow, and inspiration to guide you.
So I invite you to reflect on your own life.
Where are you embodying masculine energy right now?
Where are you embodying feminine energy?
Do you notice any imbalance?
Is there a place where you might be forcing when you could be allowing?
Is there a place where you might need more structure or more flow?
Because your birthright is balance.
The masculine is the sun.
The feminine is the moon.
The masculine is fire.
The feminine is water.
And when those elements come together within you, they create harmony.
So if you're someone who feels like you're constantly in performance mode — pushing, striving, proving — I invite you to ask yourself something important.
What would it feel like to trust more?
What would it feel like to allow things to come to you?
Can you still take action while releasing the need to control every outcome?
Control often feels like safety.
But it's actually an illusion.
The truth is, we are not fully in control of everything.
But we are powerful co-creators.
You get to choose your direction.
You get to set your intention.
And then you get to trust that the path will unfold one step at a time.
You don't have to see the entire path to begin.
You simply take the next step.
And the next step will reveal itself.
And the next.
For someone like me who likes to plan everything out in advance, that was a challenging lesson.
But I learned that when we make rigid plans, we leave no room for miracles.
So now I create direction for myself, but I allow flexibility.
I leave space for inspiration.
I leave space for intuition.
I leave space for something even greater to unfold.
Because we don't have to do this alone.
When we allow ourselves to rest, to regulate our nervous system, and to integrate both masculine and feminine energy, we show up as our highest selves.
So wherever you are right now, I invite you to reflect on how you can bring these energies into balance within your own life.
Because when masculine and feminine unite within you, everything changes.
You begin creating from a place of alignment.
From a place of harmony.
From a place of wholeness.
And when we each do that within ourselves, we all rise together.
