I feel I feel that weather getting better now. Oh yeah. Okay, so now that we're in our in our outfit and Professor Cook was taking forever to take it off. Uh yeah. So let's let's let's talk about Husky's. What do we know about Huskies, Professor? Husky. Yes. Let's talk about the history of Husky. Yeah, what do we know about Huskies?

Uh you know, Husky has been like known for like thousands of years. Apparently, they're like kind of dating back for thousands of years. Yeah, that's pretty cool, right? Right, right. Yeah, you know, like uh back in the day, you know, they could, you know, they kind of like, you know, they also call them the Eskimo dog. The Eskimo dogs? Yeah, Eskimo dogs.

Yeah, kind of like the Eskimo people, you know, like uh they kind of used to having them like always having them be well like dragging like snow sled or something, something like that. You know, it's pretty cool. Yeah. And then like um, you know, when did they become famous? When? The like um particular work like Husky. That's like you know when they become famous? They become famous in 1925. 1925, whoa, yeah, that's that's amazing. Yeah, you know you know what happened? What happened? There was like a diphtheria, bacteria, uh bacterial infection outbreak. Yeah, no, yeah, no, like during that time in like norm like Alaska. So they had to use the what uh the husky to like pull the actually the medication at that time to bring it to the outbreak area.

They have their fur is double layer, double layers, you know. So uh it's kind of like interesting because when it's cold, it keeps them warm. Yeah, when the temperature is warm, it's hot, it keeps them cool. Like kakwa, you cool?

And these these these um um huskies are canine dogs, not only they're beautiful, but they can be very stubborn too at the same time.

Okay, so um one thing that we know about Huskies is that um most of these, most of these species, or not species, I should say, most of these dogs, yeah. Um, they shed a lot, man. Ooh, there's a lot of things.

Yeah. Okay, so so let's get to the point. So um they shed a lot, okay, and they work in groups, okay. Yeah, so they're pretty cool. Okay, so do you believe huskies are closer to like the the wolves? Like in wolf pack?

Yes, they do have a lot of energy, but the crazy part is that their metabolism is actually quite low.

So they can actually like control their metabolism to be low so that they can conserve their energy. Just think about all this time they have to run through the snow. Right. Why?

But but but even though they're great uh animals that have a lot of energy, I feel at the same time it it could be a little bit uh difficult for them in the future as they get older.

I mean, I think I think dogs like him, um, they're great, they're great pets, but at the same time, they they serve a purpose, and their purpose obviously at the time it was to uh travel to get people from one from point A to point B.
