Thursday's Community Prayer asks God to intercede for our community.

Today's prayer is led by Jade Spears, Director of Mission Integration.

Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Take this time to reflect, slow down, and focus on God’s unconditional love. Our response will be “Compassionate God, hear us.”

For those suffering from sickness of any kind, that the Lord would put His hand over them and bring them peace and comfort. We pray to the Lord, Compassionate God, hear us.

For those struggling financially, that the Lord would provide their necessities, relieve their burdens, and lead us to be there for our dear neighbor. We pray to the Lord, Compassionate God, hear us.

For anyone burdened by depression, that the Lord would lift the weight off their shoulders and surround them with love and comfort as they overcome the obstacles of everyday life. We pray to the Lord, Compassionate God, hear us.

For all faculty and staff, that God would continue to ignite passion in their souls to grow and mentor young minds, and that young minds would be open and excited to receive new knowledge and understanding. We pray to the Lord, Compassionate God, hear us.

For all young men and women in the process of choosing a career, may the Lord motivate them to work hard, dream big, and guide them in their decisions to find a fulfilling path. We pray to the Lord, Compassionate God, hear us.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing us with busy and abundant lives. As we endure and overcome the inevitable challenges of everyday life, we pray that You would teach us to stay positive and focused on glorifying You through our peaks and valleys. Help us to slow down and take time to think about important decisions and help others instead of being caught in the fast-paced lives we live. Thank you for all You have done, and all You continue to do. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen. St. Joseph, Pray for Us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
