Tuesday's Community Prayer honors our patron, St. Joseph.

Today's prayer is led by junior Sadie Bozeman.

Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

When we hear about Saint Joseph, we don’t hear his words. In fact, in the Bible, Joseph doesn’t say a single recorded sentence. Yet he is one of the most important figures in the story of Jesus. That tells us something powerful: you don’t have to be loud to be strong, and you don’t have to be seen to make a difference. Joseph was a teenager or young adult when his life changed completely. Joseph could have walked away. He could have chosen embarrassment, anger, or fear. Instead, he chose courage. He chose trust. He chose love.

As high school students, you face pressure every day, academics, sports, friendships, social media, and expectations about the future. Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t the popular thing. Joseph shows us what quiet strength looks like: He listened to God even when it was confusing. He protected his family even when it was inconvenient. He worked hard in ordinary life as a carpenter. He led not with power, but with faithfulness. Joseph reminds us that holiness is not about being perfect or famous. It’s about being faithful in small, daily choices, studying when you don’t feel like it, standing up for someone who is left out, respecting your parents, and being honest when it’s easier to lie.

Most of all, Joseph teaches trust. He didn’t know the whole plan, but he trusted God step by step. And that’s often how God works in our lives too, not giving us the whole map, just the next right step. As we celebrate St. Joseph this week, may we strive to emulate him.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Saint Joseph. Thank You for his quiet strength, his courage, and his faithful heart. Help us to trust You when life feels uncertain. Give us courage to do what is right, even when it is hard. Teach us to serve others with humility and love. Like Saint Joseph, help us to listen for Your voice, to protect and care for those around us, and to be faithful in the small, everyday moments of our lives. Guide us in our studies, our friendships, and our future. Form us into people of integrity, compassion, and faith. Amen. Saints of God, pray for us. St. Joseph, pray for us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
