Thursday's Community Prayer asks God to intercede for our community.

Today's prayer is led by senior Linley Denstel.

Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

During times of uncertainty and suffering in the world, let us lift our prayers to God and our own intentions for those living in conflicts and poverty. Our response will be “Compassionate God, hear us.”

For the whole world, that our government leaders make just and wise decisions that will benefit our nation and the world. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, Hear us.

For an end to war and disputes, that God may be present and guide the path of peace in areas suffering from conflicts. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, Hear us.

That we may protect and care for the world that God has entrusted to us. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, Hear us.

That when we are dealing with difficult issues and choices to seek Jesus to guide our decision making. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, Hear us.

That we may live a life of honesty and integrity in our thoughts, words, and actions and ask God for His guidance and courage to choose the path of truth. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, Hear us.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we thank you for always being a source of wisdom and grace for our world. Help us to always turn to you for guidance as you are the source of truth and love. Continue to intercede for us with all the angels and Saints in Heaven. Grant us the gift that we may always choose to trust your guidance and path for us in our lives. Amen. St. Joseph, Pray for Us.
