Today's prayer is led by freshman Julia Downs.
Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
God, we come before to you today to lift our hearts and minds to you. Our response will be, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
For those who are sick and suffering, may they find healing and comfort from God. May we pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us.”
For those who are struggling with addiction, may they find the peace they need from God. We pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
For the students, staff, and faculty here at SJA, may they let God guide them through their daily school life, always being reminded that God loves them no matter what. We Pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
For the lonely, may they be reminded that God is always with them, no matter how alone they feel. We pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us.”
For the less fortunate, may they find joy and happiness through God, the greatest gift you can have. We pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
Now take a moment of silence for all the intentions you hold in your heart.
