Today's prayer is led by Jade Spears, Director of Mission Integration.
Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Bring to mind your worries and petitions. Our response will be, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
God, help those who are less fortunate than us and those who do not share in our blessings that they may know the joy of being fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, hear us.
Pray for those affected by war and famine and for the innocent people who are affected by the wrong doings of others that our world may know the peace of Christ. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, hear us.
For the elderly and sick, that they may all feel the loving presence of God and those who love them. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, hear us.
For the children of the world, that they all may know the gentleness, peace, and joy of the world and that stress and pain be alleviated. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, hear us.
For the Sisters of Saint Joseph, that their work may be fortified and the good news of Jesus Christ spread to all dear neighbors. We pray to the Lord…Compassionate God, hear us.
For all intentions we hold in the silence of our hearts...
We pray to the Lord, “Compassionate God, Hear Us."
