Today's prayer is led by Jade Spears, Director of Mission Integration.
Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.
In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
God, calm our hearts and minds as we take a few moments to reflect on this week.
Invite the Holy Spirit to help you see the past week as God has seen this week.
Be thankful. Name the gifts of the past week and thank God for them.
Notice God's presence. Where did you feel an increase of joy this week?
Notice where you felt what seemed like a lack of God's presence. Where did you feel a decrease of joy this week?
Look to the future. Ask God for the grace you need in the week ahead.
Let us pray: Good and gracious God, we give you thanks for the joy this week has brought us. We ask that You give us time in the next week to stop and soak in all the joy around us. Amen. St. Joseph, Pray for Us.
