Tuesday's Community Prayer honors St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross.

Take a moment to quiet yourselves in preparation for community prayer.

In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, also known as Edith Stein, reminds us that discovering who we truly are is a journey. She was brilliant, curious, and never stopped searching for the truth. Even when that search led her to make difficult choices, she followed her conscience with courage.

As girls growing up in a world full of opinions, pressures, and expectations, it's easy to wonder who we should be or how others see us. Edith Stein teaches us that our value does not come from popularity, appearance, or achievements. It comes from being loved by God and being faithful to the truth He places in our hearts.

For us today, following her example might mean standing up for someone who is left out, being honest even when it's easier to hide the truth, treating ourselves and others with dignity and kindness, and taking time to pray and ask God to guide our decisions.

St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross reminds us that holiness begins in everyday choices. Every act of kindness, every moment of honesty, and every step toward God shapes us into the women He created us to be.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the example of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. Help us to see the truth with open hearts, to have courage to follow You even when it is difficult, and to remember that our worth comes from Your love. Make us women of faith, wisdom, kindness, and strength. May we always trust that You are with us in every challenge. Amen. St. Joseph, pray for us.
