Abdul Robinson Sr., the father of rapper Ksoo, has been released from jail and is back in the community after being sentenced to time served on November 21, 2025.

Robinson Sr. was originally charged with accessory after the fact in a 2020 murder case where his son, Ksoo, was a primary defendant. As part of a controversial plea deal, the father testified against his son and identified him as the shooter in surveillance footage. Ksoo was subsequently convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

In exchange for his testimony and cooperation, Robinson Sr. received a sentence of 1,898 days, which was the exact amount of time he had already spent incarcerated. His release conditions include:

  • Two years of community control with electronic monitoring (house arrest).
  • Three years of probation.
  • A ban on possessing firearms.

He had informed the judge he planned on relocating after his release due to backlash and threats for testifying against his son. He told the court he made the "tough spot for a daddy" decision to protect his three younger children.
