False Prophets Exposed: My Journey from Darkness to Light

Wolves are among us, and they're wearing the clothing of trusted spiritual leaders, family members, and close companions. Drawing from personal experience and scriptural truth, I pull back the curtain on the devastating reality of false prophets in our midst.

My journey began with my own father—a man who claimed divine status while systematically extinguishing my mother's spiritual light until she took her own life. He proclaimed himself the witness from Revelation and John the Baptist reincarnated, all while leaving a wake of broken relationships, failed businesses, and unfulfilled prophecies. The fruit, as Jesus warned, was unmistakably rotten.

But this isn't just my story. False prophets lurk in congregations, homes, and workplaces across the world, identified not by their charismatic presentations but by consistent patterns: trails of destruction, financial chaos, compounding lies, and often, hidden sin. For too long, many of us have remained silent, enabling their continued influence. Today, that silence ends.

Standing firm on Matthew 7:15-20, we must judge spiritual leaders by their fruit—not their claims, not their stage presence, not even their seeming success. The contrast is clear: false prophets leave destruction while the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

If you've been under the influence of a false prophet, hear this truth: you are not crazy, not alone, and certainly not powerless. Test the spirits, judge the fruit, bring darkness to light, and stand unwaveringly on the rock of Christ. The time for prayer warriors and spiritual boldness is now. Together, we can expose the wolves and protect the flock—because as long as there's breath in our lungs, not on our watch will the enemy steal another light.

We're talking about false prophets , not just in theory , not as a vague warning from the Bible , but as a very real , very dangerous reality in the lives of believers today . Jesus warned us about them .

Warning About False Prophets

I've lived through it and , by the grace of God , I've come out stronger , bolder and more determined to never let the enemy steal the light again , not from me , not from my family and not from you . This episode is raw , it's personal and it's going to call some things into the light . Jesus said in Matthew 7 , 15 through 20 , beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves . You will know them by their fruits . Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles ? Even so , every good tree bears good fruit , but a bad tree bears bad fruit . A good Jesus doesn't say maybe . He says Not their charisma , not their so-called prophecies , not the way they present themselves . It's the fruit that tells the truth .

forbidding her to see them , criticizing her every chance he got , and one day he had fully stamped out her light . That's when she took her life . After she died he told us it was better she was gone , that she was dragging our family down . We were told he was the witness from Revelation . He was John the Baptist come back in the flesh , and the apostle John come back For three hours a day , almost every day . We were brainwashed to believe whatever he said . He claimed to be the number one tennis player in the world , beating Federer , nadal and Djokovic , but every relationship he had crumbled , every business ended in a lawsuit , every prophecy failed . The fruit was rotten .

False prophets are not always on a church stage . Sometimes they are in your own house , sometimes they're in your workplace , sometimes they're in your inner circle . The fruit tells you the truth Broken relationships everywhere they go , lawsuits and chaos trailing behind them . Lies stacked upon lies , promises that never come to pass and , in my dad's case , secret sin . He got nannies pregnant , avoided child support , stole my inheritance and for years I kept quiet . But Jesus said bring it to the light . So here I am today , saying it out loud , not on my watch . I forgive him , I pray for him , but I will not enable him , I will not cover for him . When we hide darkness , it grows . When we expose it , it loses power . Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness

, but rather expose them . When I got married and moved out , I thought I was free . But seven years ago I ran into another false prophet I knew from the start toxic , jealous , manipulative , and recently they spoke ill of me on their own podcast . But unlike my mom , I will not crumble under the weight of jealousy . I am rising as a Deborah in this generation wise , bold , unafraid . I am rising as JL with a tent peg in hand , ready to crush the serpent's head . False prophets thrive when we stay silent , but I'm here to tell you we don't have to stay silent anymore .

Recently I went on a prayer walk . I was praising God for all the miracles he's been doing . On my way back to the car I saw a large poisonous snake blocking my path . I stopped , I prayed , then I picked up some rocks and threw them until the thing slithered away and the Holy Spirit whispered when you confront the enemy with the rock Jesus Christ , he retreats into the darkness . That's our authority as believers . We don't cower , we stand , we resist and the devil flees . The fruit of these people Wickedness , isolation , financial instability , brokenness , envy . Lies the fruit of the spirit Love , joy , peace , patience , kindness , goodness , faithfulness , gentleness , self-control . When you have an abundant life rooted in Christ , everything you put your hand to prospers . Jesus showed me a vision in church , my hands lifted like a martini glass , his blessings pouring in and overflowing to everyone around me . That's what life in Christ looks like .

This is the day God is exposing all hypocrites , all false prophets , all teachers in sheep's clothing . The gossip behind God's people's backs is over . The time is now to wake the sleeping giants , to rouse the snoring lions . The time to fight is now . Souls are on the line . Jesus is coming back very soon .

Let parents and children pray together . Let the good band together and break chains . Let the voiceless find a voice . Let every hypocrite and every wolf be exposed . I declare that no weapon formed against your children shall prosper and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned . Father , raise up Deborahs . Raise up Jales .
