Over many months I’ve had many late-night conversations with Google’s AI assistant “Gemini.” Our discussions have included heath and medical issues, real estate transactions, politics, economics, legal issues, and questions of which I have concerns about humanity’s collective and purpose on this planet. I have also worked with AI to assist me in the books I write, from research to pacing, and answers to questions about which I know little. This is the first the podcasts related to our chats! Our protagonist, Rose, is shattered by the loss of her boyfriend to the war when she encounters an anomaly in a 1944 New York subway station: a machine capable of absolute devotion. Committed to Rose, this robot ultimately enters a future battlefield as an archaic tool to protect her young son during his tour of duty.
