Sad but kinda funny
Sad But Kinda Funny started as an unfiltered, slightly chaotic, and oddly comforting podcast where two longtime friends, Brittney and Jennifer, reunited after years apart to talk about life, depression, leaving corporate, and the messy moments in between. It was real talk with zero pretension, equal parts vulnerable and hilarious, where even the bad days could still land a good punchline.
As life tends to do, things evolve. Jennifer has stepped back from the podcast to focus on a few things currently filling her plate, and Brittney will continue the journey forward. The heart of the podcast isn’t changing, it’s still honest, real, and sometimes a little sarcastic, but the format will shift.
Moving forward, Sad But Kinda Funny will feature rotating co-hosts for a few episodes at a time, along with guests from all walks of life and different stages of their journeys. Some conversations will be light, some a little deeper, and most will land somewhere in the middle because life rarely stays in just one lane.
From awkward adulthood moments to the heavier stuff we don’t usually say out loud, Sad But Kinda Funny is still a space where honesty wins, laughter sneaks in when you least expect it, and even the sad parts might come with a sarcastic snort.

Season Finale: Self-Worth, Self-Love & Every “Self” You Need to Elevate 2026
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We’re closing out 2025 the only way we know how — honest, reflective, and a little emotional (but kinda funny).
In this Season 1 finale of Sad But Kinda Funny, we dive deep into all the selves that actually matter:
- Self-worth (and why we’ve been underpricing ourselves)
- Self-love (the real kind, not the Instagram version)
- Self-awareness (the uncomfortable but necessary kind)
- And the self you’re becoming in 2026
This episode is about releasing what drained us in 2025, owning who we are now, and stepping into the version of ourselves that doesn’t play small anymore.
Season 1 was raw. It was messy. It was healing.
Season 2? We’re coming in louder, clearer, and stronger.
If you’re resetting, rebuilding, or reintroducing yourself in 2026 — this episode is for you.
Thank you for riding with us this year.
We’ll see you in Season 2. 🖤
✨ New episodes return in 2026.
