SPEAKER_10It's your boy A C E. And come on, man. Come on, man. Who we here with today? Who we here with today?
SPEAKER_05Your boy. You know. Why you know.
SPEAKER_09You know, you know me.
SPEAKER_10Big in the house always. Alright, we got a special guest. We got Brando with us here today. I don't know why we call him. We got Brando here with us today. Number one draft.
SPEAKER_08We uh Hey, Toasty, Toasty, Toasty. Philly, Toasty, you send in this seat, man.
SPEAKER_10He's another uh Philly guy. He's another Philly guy. Uh he's from Philly as well. We are from Philly. Uh it's my personal, my personal friend. Alright, uh so today, first we're talking about the draft picks, man. We gotta we gotta touch on on the players we got and how we're feeling about them. We're gonna start it off first and foremost with you are Bernard. Y'all know I called that one out. You are Bernard, man. I'm just telling y'all, bro. Once he learned the game, once he learned the game, he's gonna show y'all something. He's gonna show y'all something. I'm telling y'all, don't let him learn how to play football.
SPEAKER_05It's the fact that he's gonna learn how to play football.
SPEAKER_08That's what I'm saying. And he already like like playing, he not don't have the same skill, but he's learning the skill set. He got the same athletic of athleticism as the person that of that leg. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_10Absolutely. Uh, I think bro, the six percent body fat is really what's the craziest part to me. Bro, really 300 pounds with with a six-pack. Calf muscles look like ham hocks and shit, like, bro. Like, yeah, not y'all not understanding, bro.
SPEAKER_08Like thor hammering, bro.
SPEAKER_05He's getting a lot of comparisons to to uh the bull from Cleveland. Miles Garrett, yeah, Miles Garrett.
SPEAKER_10Miles Garrett, yeah. And body type like Aaron Donald and shit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he's gonna be he's gonna be nice. He's gonna be nice.
SPEAKER_06Athleticism. He's 100%. He's different. He different. He different. Most definitely. He is most definitely different.
SPEAKER_10He already he already he already got half the job done, bro. If you just learn how to break.
SPEAKER_08They already dropping clips. They already dropping clips of him tackling tires and wrestling trees. So I'm just ready to see him on that field.
SPEAKER_05Nigga said tackling tires and tackling trees. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I'm ready to see him on that field, see what he does.
SPEAKER_10Kenny, who would you who would you feeling in the draft right now? Who would you feeling?
SPEAKER_05Yo, I I'm not gonna lie, gang. I'm I'm really feeling my favorite two picks out of the draft was uh Makai Lemon and uh Cole Payton. The fact that he's the fact that they uh signed another dual uh quarterback, that that kind of opens up uh the Eagles offense a little bit because they I can I see them doing a little trickery. You I I know we all familiar familiar with the Philly Philly and how that was ran. So maybe Sean Linion taps into like an idea like that, and we got two quarterbacks on the field at the same time, get a double pass, you know. I don't know. We I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Might see a double pass and then a Makai Lemon touchdown out of it. I I'm not I'm not really sure what we can see from that.
SPEAKER_10But I don't know.
SPEAKER_05That that's something that I like a lot. Um, definitely the Makai Lemon thing. Nobody was really expecting to see that. The fact that they moved up that fast and and they took another wide receiver, it kind of leaves AJ Brown in a bolt. And I think I think that we we we see AJ Brown go bye bye. As much as I hate to say it, as much as I hate to say it, because you know I'm an AJ Brown. I think we see him go bye now in uh after June 1st game. And that's a lot of talk uh behind behind the Patriots. My fault. I'm gonna let you get in. My fault. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_10Nah, man. I'm uh first I'm gonna touch on the call, the call part. I think it's gonna be more of a Taysom Hill thing. I think he's gonna be more of a because that's what he did at his at the college he played for. He was a uh he ran a lot, uh lot. And um I he has the same type of build as Taysom Hill. He can throw. Um he can he can he can run for sure. So I think I think he could be like a a little like quarterback, tight end type type type threat. Is he like 6'3, 22 200 and something? I think I think it's gonna be on the same type thing as Taysom Hill. I'm my opinion on that. Mikhail Lemon, great pickup. At first, at first, I was saying like, oh yeah, it's seeming like AJ's going, but as we're getting as we're moving further into the to the season, it's like I'm not feeling that no more. The way it's it's coming out, it's not it's not seeming like that anymore. He's there we're they're happy to say that he's an eagle. That every interview I've been seeing with Howie Roseman, I pay attention to how he how he speaks on people. He don't usually just talk like that about players he just wants to get rid of.
SPEAKER_01As always, I have so many questions. You're so kind to do this every single year after the draft. Um, it's kind of a a tradition. The only other tradition, unlike any other, involving Green, is the Masters. I agree. I'm not even answering.
SPEAKER_00You know what, Rich? It's Joe Douglas, who who's back working for us, one of my good friends. I'm so glad he's back. He used to call me on trades, and I I I finally I pick up the phone and I'd say, tell me what I'm saying no to. You know, so I feel like I feel like these conversations, like, just give me the questions that I'm not gonna answer first so we can have a conversation about everything. Right?
SPEAKER_01Do you want to do that? Because we'll do that right now. Please do that right now.
SPEAKER_00AJ Brown's still an eagle. Unfair conversation about Jalen Hurts. Let's talk about the draft.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, everybody's saying Mikhail Lemon coming means AJ Brown's going, Howie. AJ Brown's an eagle. Okay. And Mikhail Lemon is an eagle as well.
SPEAKER_10Um I I don't I don't think he goes, but if he does go, they're talking about Christian Gonzalez. The only way, the only way, no, I'm talking I'm talking about a real real chance of us getting him. Yeah, it is a real chance. Because he wants he wants money and they're they're already they're they're they're missing pieces. They're missing pieces.
SPEAKER_05The the Patriots can I jump in real quick on the Go ahead. Go ahead. No, I'm gonna let you finish and then I'll jump in behind it. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_10They're missing pieces, and I don't think they're gonna they're gonna probably be send him the way that they're that he's they I don't think they really wanna be want to be able to do that right now, like try to give him that type of money right now. And they the the first round picks, they could give that up, but they also need new players. So I mean it's it's gonna be an if and it's gonna have to be all right, we're getting we're replacing our wide receiver, we can try to get a new corner, they're gonna have to bite the bullet, they're gonna have to figure something out. That's really the trade because you have to think about their future. But Christian Gonzales are our first round pick, depending on how we do it, or whatever happens. I don't see him going unless it's that or that or that chargers thing that I was saying in the last episode. But I think AJ Brown stays an eagle, it it would make sense, and we just got us Makai Lemon, and that's uh another offensive threat, and everything else can be if anybody needs a break or they're tired. You know what I'm saying? It's good to have backup receivers. We didn't have that last year or the year before that, really. So I think that's just all it is, man.
SPEAKER_08I'm gonna be honest, not to contradict your opinion, but I don't feel like AJ Brown is gonna stay necessarily because of how much they trying to put him in the shadow of Smitty. He don't he don't want to be like, he wants to be the star. He wants to be the person that, hey, I want the ball, I get it. I could, I could get downs, I could get you know yards for the team. And I just feel like he uh Jalen has uh is given the the you know the young guy a chance so much that they forgot that who AJ is. Me personally. I just don't I just don't feel like AJ Brown is gone.
SPEAKER_06He's gone. Did you see how many wide receivers that they just brought to this team immediately? They just signed like five wide receivings, including the draft. Literally, he's not going to be here after June 1st. Done deal. Now it's just about what the deal is. We'll figure that out, but after that, it'll be a foregone conclusion. AJ Brown is out of here.
SPEAKER_05That's not happening, even it is because he if okay, so it's a heavy possibility. It's a heavy possibility. If if Christian Gonzalez didn't have nothing to do with the Eagles or coming to Philly, listen, let me finish. If he didn't have nothing to do with coming to Philly, right, why did he just make an appearance on Smitty's baseball team?
SPEAKER_06Because they all called support your guys. Okay, but specifically, but specifically the Patriots. So so so now this is this is how things work in the NFL. You're getting ready to sign Queen An Mitchell, you're getting ready to sign Jalen Carter. You have to. You're getting ready to sign those guys. With that, Cooper Dejean has to be signed. Okay. So those are three huge signings. You will not have any money for Gonzalez. That's why you're getting rid of AJ Brown because that's going to free you the money to get those guys signed.
SPEAKER_10You're just assuming that's an assumption, bro. You don't even we if we were gonna sign Jalen Carter, we would have done it already. That's not that's an assumption, and you have to still remember Nolan Smith.
SPEAKER_06Now, what I am hearing, what I am hearing is Jalen Carter might get traded, and Nolan Smith too.
SPEAKER_10Nolan Smith too. And we are are he gonna take a cheaper deal? I'm telling you, you bro, there's money on the table. There's gonna be money available. If we had enough money to just, oh, we just got Genard, 100 million. If we're able to do that, bro, I'm telling you. We got bread, bro. We got bread, bro. We just oh uh uh uh uh uh Jordan Davis here 79. Um oh bro, we signed this same dude, same year, 100 million. Like, bro, no, bro. It money is there, especially if if they ain't even getting re-signed to like two two more years from now, two or one more year from now, if they're getting an ascension. Koyon probably gonna get his first because he's a good corner and they know that they're gonna have to extend him before he continues to keep getting better and better and better, and we're gonna have to get more bread. And Cooper.
SPEAKER_06You can't re-sign, so you can't sign, hypothetically, uh a Christopher Gonzalez.
SPEAKER_05You can after Tariq Willing go after his one-year deal. Okay, so you need another corner behind him. It would have to come above who would your number two corner be? Christian Gonzalez after the the Harry Goldinger.
SPEAKER_06If if if and when that comes to that situation, but it would have to come because you can't sign both of them.
SPEAKER_05Right, but neither can the Patriots. The Patriots cannot re-sign AJ Brown and Christian Gonzalez. That's already out there.
SPEAKER_10He's gonna be off the deal after the series deal. They're gonna be off the deal after next season. His deal ends in 2027.
SPEAKER_05Both of the deals end in the same year, so he will have to get his extension next year. Christian Gonzalez is more expensive than AJ Brown. They're not gonna be able to pay for AJ Brown and Christian Gonzalez.
SPEAKER_10Calm down, bro. Corners don't make the same amount of money as wide receivers in NFL.
SPEAKER_05Bro, his his joint is uh Christian Gonzalez contract for the next year is 21 mil. Bro, AJ Brown's just 24 mil if we wait until after June 1st.
SPEAKER_10AJ Brown's money is 40 million.
SPEAKER_05That's now that's it, that's before the deadline. If wait if they wait until after June 1st, it it lowers itself to 20.
SPEAKER_08But what if they wave the deadline?
SPEAKER_05It's no such thing as waving the deadline. The deadline is the deadline after June 1st. If they trade him, they only owe him 24 million. If they trade him before June 1st, it's 40 something, 42 million dollars. They're not going to take a 42 million drop, they'll take a 24 million and take somebody that's worth 21 million, let him play that last year route, and then re-sign him to a brand new deal after you let uh Tariq um Willens, uh, what's the name?
SPEAKER_10Will we could we could the thing we could do with Tariq Willin, yeah. But the thing we could do with Yeah, you let him walk. Even okay, bro, it would make more sense to just keep AJ with this team, bro. But if we did, if we took, if we took, if we took Christian Gonzalez, we would have to sign him to like a two or three year deal. But this the thing was we should have kept Isaiah Roger when we had him, because that was a 16 million, three million.
SPEAKER_06That was the that was the player that you shouldn't have let walk out.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I said to say that's not gonna happen with Christian Gonzalez. We're gonna probably have to get that man like, bro, like fuck around and get that man like 60 if we give him three. If if he's on the three. If but we could probably sign him for like 30, 45, maybe on a two. And he'll I'm pretty sure he'll take that.
SPEAKER_05Who Christian Gonzalez?
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah, like we give him 45 guaranteed and give him like 20, 25 million. You gotta sign him before his contract is up, bro. It gives him opportunities.
SPEAKER_05No, you can wait until his contract is up and then tell give him the money.
SPEAKER_10You want to talk about extensions before they they they out of the contract, bro?
SPEAKER_05I mean, didn't they sign the boy Jonathan to an extension?
SPEAKER_10Jonathan Gnard?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10He wasn't out of his contract, yeah. His contract would end after the season. Okay. I'm just making sure.
SPEAKER_05I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just making sure. Yeah, definitely 100 million on the table. 100 million.
SPEAKER_06So I like the tight end. Okay, talk about it. He's nice.
SPEAKER_05He was playing wild receiver too. He could they it's a lot of um, they view him as like a uh Michael Pittman Jr. type dude.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. Oh, y'all talking about both.
SPEAKER_06Even the undrafted free agents that the yeah, he went to the school that one of the wide receivers that used to play for the Eagles. One of the wide receivers that used to play for the Eagles, he plays for his uh his college. And he said that uh he's the he's the yeah, Jordan Matthews, he's the perfect player for the Eagles, culture-wise.
SPEAKER_05Jordan Matthews played here.
SPEAKER_06Right, that's what I just said.
SPEAKER_05Do he currently play here?
SPEAKER_06No, he's on the coaching staff of um that team that he came from. College.
SPEAKER_10You tell me about the dude that came from that's coming from O Miss?
SPEAKER_06No, that's the undrafted free agent. I like him too. You tell me about the dude that played for Vanderbilt? I like both the tight ends. They do it. Yeah, Vanderbilt. Yeah, that's where that's where he went to school. Yep. Now he's on the coaching staff, and he said he called Howie Roseman and told Howie Roseman, hey, you said you're looking for a tight end. Check out this guy. I don't know if you've been paying attention to him, but check him out.
SPEAKER_05And he did the number two tight end in the draft.
SPEAKER_06And and now the rest is history. Yeah, I think it one step, just to take it one step further, the whole Sean Manion, like, is starting to put itself together with the multiple tight ends, the multiple wide receivers, even multiple quarterbacks. That whole Peyton thing, that's gonna be crazy. That's gonna be kind of like the bull for the Saints, who they come in and be a running quarterback and do gadget plays and just fuck up everybody's defense. Taysom Hill.
SPEAKER_05Are you talking about the bull Rattler?
SPEAKER_10No, Taysom Hill, the dude I was just talking about earlier. Yes. He plays tight ends. He got he plays tight end quarterback and fullback and shit. Right.
SPEAKER_05I'm just saying, I don't know.
SPEAKER_06No, I'm just saying, just just piggybacking off of what you were saying, um, Deuce, the whole Sean Minion thing, it it the whole concept is starting to come together as far as with the draft picks and start, you're starting to see what they really have the ability to do as far as those draft picks. The Eagles are gonna look like a crazy offense next year. It's gonna be something different to see. A lot of different moving parts on offense. That's why I know AJ Brown is no longer gonna be with this team. Because he can't he can't be in the middle of that. The unassuming star is Smitty, and everybody's personality is gonna kind of fit that. Unassuming player, team first, all about the team, not about your stats, Mr. AJ Brown. He just wants to win, bro.
SPEAKER_05Alright, that's fine. He can tell his story walking.
SPEAKER_10I think he wants to be a uh I just think he wants to see what the Eagles want to see. The same thing we're trying we want to see. Uh uh offense that that's an offense and not uh try to win or try to win fucking playstyle. Oh bro, just try to just try to just try to find it.
SPEAKER_05How did he handle it? I mean, a lot of people don't have to handle it the way they do when they they how did he handle it?
SPEAKER_10How did he handle it?
SPEAKER_06All I know is at the end of the day and at the last game, because you're only as good as your last game, his last game, he had three pivotal drops that cost us the first round exit in the playoffs.
SPEAKER_05I got a question for you, Mr. Mr.
SPEAKER_06We couldn't catch a cold with Abraham.
SPEAKER_05I got a question for you, though. How many how many drops has he had in the last three years of him being here?
SPEAKER_06Yo, bro, you're only as good as your last thing.
SPEAKER_05I'll wait. How many drops has he had in the last three years of him being here? I'll wait. No, but you're not gonna sit here and dogging him out like he's not a top. I ain't dogging him out.
SPEAKER_02Alright, it's getting crowded in here. Everyone out, everyone out, come on. Not you, Scotty, not you, number two, not you, friend, not you, gold member, not you, guys back there, not you, henchman holding wrench, not you, henchmen, arbitrarily turning knobs, making it seem like you're doing something.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he was showing in the door. You because that's what the eagles are telling me.
SPEAKER_10The funniest thing, the funniest thing that it's gonna be is that AJ if AJ stayed, this nigga gonna be hyper tail. Hey, bro, we still gotta do it.
SPEAKER_07Oh shit.
SPEAKER_06Nobody's sitting on the sideline. I'm not a fan of nobody sitting on the sideline in the middle of a game reading the MF and book, bro. When you did it like that, you did it like that.
SPEAKER_08Disrespectful, not only to you as the coach, but he showed he most definitely showed the franchise that they as his ass. That's something you gotta take it to.
SPEAKER_06We showed a lot of a lot of disrespectful. I ain't trying to hear that shit.
SPEAKER_10So it's wrong with reading.
SPEAKER_06As far as I'm concerned, I don't want nobody, I don't want to keep nobody that don't want to be kept. And to me, when you read the book on the sideline, that means you got something else going on. So you don't want to be able to do that. That wasn't even this season.
SPEAKER_10That wasn't even this season, bro. That was the season. That was the season before.
SPEAKER_05No, it wasn't. That was the same season, bro. This was all the same year. That that him reading the book shit happened last year. In the same year he dropped the book.
SPEAKER_06At the beginning of the year, and then they had the all the the break. And then after the break, it was like he ain't he ain't doing it no more. Shit. The the man became a a a world seller all because of that shit. Otherwise, his books wasn't even getting sold.
SPEAKER_05Nah, that's a fact. But that don't mean, bro. Like I said, what would you rather him do? Would you rather him working with you? Bro, he on the sideline. He's funny. They on defense. What the fuck? How he gonna play the game on defense? He's not a player.
SPEAKER_06I ain't asking to read no book. I want to be in the paying attention to the game. You want him to see who he gotta go up against? I want to be paying attention to the game.
SPEAKER_05Nigga, all that nigga gotta do is go out there and run a route. Ain't no pay attention, nigga.
SPEAKER_08He gotta read the game. Somebody that studies the game, studies the game, he's going to read film. If he's not even watching what's going on right now, why why would I expect him to go back into the locker room, expect him to like uh want to achieve more in the team?
SPEAKER_05He's not a quarterback, bro. Would you say as if we're talking about Jalen Hurts? Now, if Jalen Hurts did some shit like that, now we got a big conversation about why the fuck that nigga reads.
SPEAKER_08We're talking about a wide receiver who only catches the ball. Everybody reads film, bro. Not just quarterbacks. Everybody reads watching quarterback.
SPEAKER_05But for him to have to watch film during the game, that don't mean nothing. He don't have to. He's a wide receiver. His job is to go out there and catch the ball. Now, in important moments, he has in important in important moments, he has dropped the ball with three drops. I just want y'all to know. How many times has he done that?
SPEAKER_10It was not this season. Like I like I said, it happened last season in the playoffs against the Green Bay Packers. And we yeah. Just to let y'all know that. Yeah, and that's when he did that, right? Yeah, it wasn't this season. The season before in the playoffs.
SPEAKER_06Well, it was in the playoffs of last year, not last year, but the year before last. Yeah. Happened in January. Oh, so this.
SPEAKER_05Why do we feel like that was all in one season?
SPEAKER_10Because everybody is a hater.
unknownAll right.
SPEAKER_08I'm not a hater. Me personally, I don't want to be here. Nah, nigga, look, I don't want to be a great player.
SPEAKER_06I ain't saying that. I ain't taking nothing away from AJ Brown.
SPEAKER_04You're just taking away from AJ Brown.
SPEAKER_06I said I don't want them here. You just said that.
SPEAKER_09You just said you just said you're only as good as your last game. Nah man, you want some pop up for him? You're only as good as your last game. No, what in the fuck your whole kids in here? You're only as good as your last game.
SPEAKER_06That's what you do. Bro, you said what am I saying? You need to, you need for me to reevaluate what I'm saying. No, I know what you said. You said you're only as good as your last game. What are you talking about? I said I said my point. So my thing is, if you're so thorough of a wide receiver and it's about your numbers, right? It's about your numbers. And that's what he said. I want it about my numbers. I want to go to the hall of fame. You're in the playoffs, my nigga, and you're dropping the fucking ball. Yeah. My nigga. You don't understand what the fuck I said.
SPEAKER_10Hey, bruh. I don't hear you complaining about Quez Watkins being here.
SPEAKER_06He was in that business. I'm not complaining about nobody. I'm not complaining about nobody. What I'm saying to you is anybody that's counterproductive towards my fucking team, I don't want here. And if AJ Brown is that, if AJ Brown is that, then 86 that motherfucker.
SPEAKER_10So 1400 yards, 1400 yards, a thousand, a thousand. I don't care about none of that. Counterproductive. He's counterproductive. He's counterproductive. Because he didn't want to catch the ball from a bum ass from a bum ass offensive coordinator that wasn't gonna help us win anyway. We weren't going to win anyway. Some of that was going to win anyway. We were not going to win anyway. We weren't gonna win it. We weren't gonna win the next game anyway.
SPEAKER_06It'll be like three cards when you were dropping the ball at your last game because you're only as good as your last game, and then your last game, and you're dropping the ball 1400 cards worth.
SPEAKER_11And you're dropping the ball. You tell me you're dropping the ball. Those are spare fingers. These are spare fingers. You're dropping the ball.
SPEAKER_06And you're talking shit. Send that nigga somewhere else, man. Nah, for real. Send him shit.
SPEAKER_10Send the man somewhere else because he don't want to play for a trash ass offensive coordinator that is drawing up no place for him to run. Fire the wide receiver that wants to see a better offense from his fucking from his franchise. Fire that man. That man's trash.
SPEAKER_05I'm not going to catch. I know this is taking a left turn on that conversation, but nigga, like, since we got Saquon Barkley, our offense ain't been the same with him. He ain't been a steady part of that offense. And and I don't want to blame Saquon. But Saquon is definitely a part of that.
SPEAKER_10They're force feeding him because they don't know what to do. We're getting offensive kiddos that or offensive coordinators that don't know what to do. Why the fuck is Saquon Barkley getting the ball 30 and 20 times and this nigga does he not even getting 100 yards?
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_10Throw the ball to AJ 20 times.
SPEAKER_05Throw the ball to AJ 20 times, and I bet you he I bet you he get 100. Nick Sirianni is telling him, Yeah, you can run that. No, don't run that. Run back. And then you giving Saquon 50,000 runs and he's not going nowhere. Everybody know that we're gonna run the ball. Everybody knows in the NFL we're gonna fucking run the ball because we got Saquon. How many times did you give it up to AJ? And then okay, yes, he dropped the ball when it mattered, but still, bro, if you not use that's like put yourself in that nigga's shoes. If you not getting used, nigga, you gonna be mad too. Nigga, you I'm getting money for y'all not to be using it.
SPEAKER_10If he's dropping the ball when you're gonna be able to get it because, bro, because think about it, bro. If you pass him the ball when it mattered, if you think about it, bro, if you threw the ball to AJ 20 times, you know he's gonna get a hundred. You know he's gonna get a hundred. Exactly. You know he's gonna get a hundred. You not, but they ain't doing shit like that.
SPEAKER_06They changed the whole microfiber of how they're doing it because they invested too much into Saquon Barkley. All the goals is right.
SPEAKER_05No, no, all the invested too much, no, they invested too much into the fucking bum ass offensive coordinator we had that they followed behind Nick Serianni with. If we would have never signed it, that's not what I'm that's not what I said.
SPEAKER_06That's not what I said. If we wouldn't have signed, they changed philosophies before Saquon Barkley got there.
SPEAKER_10If we wouldn't have signed who then I just want to know who wait, hold on.
SPEAKER_05If we wouldn't have signed who we had Kellen Moore the first year we signed Saquon Barkley, we went directly to the Super Bowl and won. But he was also passing the ball. We got we got uh uh what's the nigga name? What's the what's the last year offensive coordinator name?
SPEAKER_06Uh fucking since you got so much to say, you tell me.
SPEAKER_05Fucking um I just told you our first year with Saquon Barkley, we went to the Super Bowl with Kellen Moore. The following year, we get fucking Kevin Patulo and go nowhere.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, Kevin Patulo.
SPEAKER_05First round of the playoff exit.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's what I just said.
SPEAKER_05So they invested too much into Patulo.
SPEAKER_06Invested too much into Saquon Barkley, and then after the second round, that is what happened, bro.
SPEAKER_10That is what happened. After they won the Saquon didn't even get that many touches last year when he had 2,000 yards, bro. Yes, they did. They invested the whole couple of years. The offensive line was still beat up. I'm not gonna lie, I think it was some of that was because of the line. The line was hurt, but but once they seen it, bro, he bro, but if you're seeing that, that's the problem, Kenny. You're supposed to switch the game plan. He didn't do that.
SPEAKER_05I know that, nigga. We know that because we watch football.
SPEAKER_10That's showing that's showing it. That's showing that they're investing. That's showing that they're investing in Saquon Bark. That's showing that they're investing in Saquon Barkley, bro. That's that's he's right. He's right. That's all I was saying.
SPEAKER_06He's right and they so stuck on it that it basically fucked up the whole zen of the offense last year because AJ Brown wasn't no more of a focal point. What they should have did was do the offense the year before that, when it was Smitty and AJ Brown. And they should have gone back to that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but they don't have the same offensive coordinator to do that. Yes, I understand what you're saying. Like, oh, keep the same scheme. I get that. But nigga, he not gonna keep the same scheme if it ain't the same person. That is Kevin Patulo's fucking fault. Kevin Patulo came in and changed the whole dynamic of what the offense was for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles' offense was a lot better when we had.
SPEAKER_06Okay, but what does that have to do with that? Because Kellen Moore played the March Brown. Dropping three.
SPEAKER_10All right, let's move on. In the game. Nothing. It has nothing to do with anything. You're right. All right, let's just move on. Um we could have been went off.
SPEAKER_08Uh I'm not gonna lie. I mess with the uh the OT from Miami. Markel. Uh, that young bull, I'll mess with him. Uh he's a he's a he's he's 6'4, uh, 300 something pounds. Uh I feel like if we give him enough chance uh in our lineup that he'll develop the game enough to run with our big dogs. Yeah, he could be.
SPEAKER_10Uh I think I think we should have to be.
SPEAKER_08I feel like his hand placement, they just need to work on him a little bit more, his hand placements. And he has enough strength to to uh Marcus. Huh?
SPEAKER_05Marcus Bell?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I think that's the name, Marquise Bell.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05My fault, my fault, my fault.
SPEAKER_08What did I say? I said Markel. I'll put it together, ain't it?
SPEAKER_05Yeah I guess so.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah. My fault. Uh name of Markel Bell. Markel Bell. Uh he's a 6'4. Uh like 280. He's a he's he's he he got some strength on him. He's just he needs to work on the scale of um holding them blocks. You know what I'm saying? Stay on that block.
SPEAKER_10Then we can move.
SPEAKER_08But he he worked with he worked with um our offensive coordinators. Uh actually, I don't know about that since we just left that topic. But he worked with our big dogs uh long enough that he'll he'll get the gist of it.
SPEAKER_06Um also that's that's gonna be a chore because we got a brand new offensive coordinator.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. Uh I I I like the I like the uh offer all of the offensive linemen we got, even the undrafted free agent from Alabama. Um I uh I think they are gonna do it well, and and we might damn near sign all of them. All of the ones we got, we might damn near sign all of them. Uh and and they're they're going for more black dudes now. I like that. They're going in in his shows, they've been getting like they it started like a couple years ago. They got um Mikhail Beckton, Tyler Steen, Fred Johnson. Now we got we got uh Michael, we got that other dude from Tennessee, and the one from Alabama. We getting a lot of we're getting in in Georgia too. We got Mike Hill. Um Mark Hill, however you say his name. And I I think I I think that's I think it's gonna be good. Um those are all good people to have under the the type of line we got with Landon Dickerson and Malotta and it's Wayne Johnson, like come on brother, they can all teach them a thing or two because they've seen a thing or two, and they are farmers.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and a D tackle too. Yeah, he he just developed their game.
SPEAKER_10Y'all ain't never seen that commercial? We are farmers. We know a thing or two because we seen the thing or two. We are farmers. Y'all never seen that? Hey, I thought y'all would have laughed a little bit or something. Farming males! Alright, never mind. Alright, uh, what are we doing? What what's the what was you saying? What were you saying, uh? My bad.
SPEAKER_08Uh the D-tackle?
SPEAKER_10What D-tackle? We got another D-tackle.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I forgot. I forgot Boy's name. Um He was on a seven seven uh six six round pick.
SPEAKER_05I think he's talking about Yoruba Bernard.
SPEAKER_10No, no, no, no. He's seven. Oh no, actually, it's track, bro. Don't even worry about it. Cole Waninski. We gotta talk about Cole, bro. We gotta get we gotta get to him before we uh safety? Yeah, bro. 6'4 with some with some with some pounds on him. Oh yeah. 6'4, 200 200 some pounds, bro. He he in there, bro. He a linebacker hybrid safety. That man gets tackles, bro, and he hit them hoes. For him to we could put we I like that because we can switch him between, and then that that brings diversity to the defense. Then you could put Jahad Campbell on the edge and have him drop back and not be worried about that middle piece because you got a 6'4 linebacker in the middle, you got a 6'4 safety, but really a linebacker with some speed, with some strength, with some, yeah. And hey man, I think I think that's gonna be an I think that was a very nice pickup, very nice move.
SPEAKER_06Okay, that's on the ground. He definitely somebody that's gonna pay dividends.
SPEAKER_10I just can't wait for the biggest.
SPEAKER_06He likes bring lead blank and ship all over again. I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_10I think he can be a little better. I think I think he got the potential.
SPEAKER_06No, he's gonna be better. He definitely gonna be better. He bigger, he's faster. I think he's gonna be a good player. I'm excited about him.
SPEAKER_10Um we can go ahead and move on to the 76ers. 76ers, man. Uh what's the score? 36 to 29, we win it. But uh hey man, 76ers and 7, man. We uh we on time. We're gonna move on, man. Boston can't fuck with us.
SPEAKER_06Alright, just let me say this before you move before you move on. Let me just say this right quick. Fuck Boston. All the way. Now, Boston has had us for the last 40 years. They've been kicking our asses and kicking our asses and kicking our asses. In game sevens, they've been kicking our asses. Right in the kisser. Okay. Pause. Um, they number one player, Tatum, be putting up a 50 piece of on the sixes on game seven. We'll be right back after this commercial.
SPEAKER_10Um I think after this commission. I think there's gonna be a dub. Who will we play next? Hey, and uh so LeBron. Um, my bad. I got a LeBron.
SPEAKER_06Oh, don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. LeBron just beat the Raptors. Sixers.
SPEAKER_10The Cavaliers, the Cavaliers are out, the Raptors are in. Uh like I was saying, man. Um Yeah, we're it's gonna be nice and playable. Who are we gonna play if we if we since since if we beat the if we beat New York? When we beat the Boston Celsius. Yeah, but we gotta we gotta beat them this time, bro.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Um they've been beating us every year for 40 years. It's time for us to win.
SPEAKER_10Spurs are in there too, and the Spurs are in um moved on too. It was the first time.
SPEAKER_06Wimbiana. Fuck Wimbiambi.
SPEAKER_10The Lakers playing OKC, y'all. If y'all don't know, just let y'all know.
SPEAKER_06And that's the end of your boy boy. Yeah, yeah. We're gonna C C.
SPEAKER_10Okay, okay. That's going by LeBron. LeBron. Alright, let me show up. Um, so how do you feel about how Joel and B is playing right now? I think he has a good, I think he's in a good mental space.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, good.
SPEAKER_10I think he's I think he is in a good mental space. He's not at his at his best, like he's not playing at his best, but he's in a great mental space.
SPEAKER_06But he's most definitely good right now. Facilitating mid-range game is good right now.
SPEAKER_08He's getting better at facilitating in balls and stop shacking a fool. I just need him to um, you know, really tighten up in the in his last game couple of games.
SPEAKER_06It's all about the mid-range game. It's all about it's all about he needs to focus on the paint.
SPEAKER_10I think he needs to focus on staying in the paint like he was, like he, like he's been doing. Like he he he used to doing.
SPEAKER_05No, I think that's the what I was saying in the last few episodes. I don't know what I was talking about, but it definitely seemed like he took somebody's advice and and stayed closer to the rim. He I feel like indeed is a better player near the rim in general. We need him down there by the rim, bro. He keeps trying to be yoke, and on defense, bro.
SPEAKER_10You keep trying to be Jokic, you go down there and shoot threes, bro. You're not a point guard, but come back, come back.
SPEAKER_05We got trying to compete with each other big man, knowing that that's not his bad.
SPEAKER_10We got too many shooters, bro. Way too many shooters. We got we got Quentin, we got we got Paul, we got Maxi, we got VJ, he's coming along. Literally, he needs to just stay there. Another highlight dunk inside inside.
SPEAKER_08My boy Paul been doing them. My boy Paul been doing them. I mean, he he he not going crazy like he used to, but he's still holding up. He's doing pretty doing pretty damn good. Yeah, doing given his age, you know.
SPEAKER_10He's back in playoff P mode.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah, he's definitely back in playoff P mode. I don't know what what it took, but he definitely recorded his own right now.
SPEAKER_0625 game suspension makes somebody be a little bit more humble about their uh situation.
SPEAKER_05Nah, for sure. For sure.
SPEAKER_06My boy now his pride is on the line.
SPEAKER_05And that's what I was just about to do.
SPEAKER_08Maxie broke it out there, like AI.
SPEAKER_09Maxie is him. Y'all seen him? He hit that crossover.
SPEAKER_10He's not AI, but he's definitely something. Come on, bro. No, no, no. He's not AI, bro. Stop it. But he's he's nice. He's nice.
SPEAKER_08He's out there, he's out there giving buckets.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, he's giving buckets. He's not, he's not, he's not AI. Stop it. Not AI. Not AI. AI was iconic to the game. Looking at that's a yeah, you gotta say it like pops. You gotta say it like pops. He's iconic to the game. Right.
SPEAKER_09What do you do? What do you do? It's really an action. What do you do? And and to that I say, sir. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_06That's my goal.
SPEAKER_09Anyway, that boy was proud.
SPEAKER_06Type shit.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, mess with the hat, y'all. Yeah. Don't get you in the merch shopping.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, but really out there, Tyrus Maxi, really the action star. And then Joel Embiid be sometimes acting bizarre. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, I really need him to like tighten up and then like facilitate that and get around uh the screens and uh drop back down into the paint. So like when Joel dropped down into the paint and Tyrese either pass or shoot, we'll be happy, we'll be able to have PG, we'll have PG in the corner, you know? How we usually you know run that. And then um because bro, PG be open in the corner every single time. They just have to be up the they have to be able to facilitate and look around.
SPEAKER_10I feel like we I mm I I feel like uh I feel like Paul George. I feel like Paul George is is is is really just in like a a certain bag right now to where like he just he feels himself and I feel like you know what I'm saying, we could probably run a little bit more offense through him instead of putting so much on maxi and bj bro. Oh my god, bro. Edge comb. He's all right. Right now, bro, he's better than Devin White. He's better than Devin White. I was wrong. Forget everything I said before. He's a better player than Devin White. He's he's this season, this whole season, he's better than Devin White. He's better than Devin White. Okay, blocks, all that. This season, yes, I'm sure. 100%. He played better defense, he played better defense.
SPEAKER_08He is he is a dog out there though.
SPEAKER_10Hey, but look, I said I want to see who he is, and this is who he is. He's showing you right now, bro.
SPEAKER_05So I feel like I feel like I feel like it. You never you I guess this is my opinion. He must have heard me. You can you can you you can leave it up to me to have my own opinion on this one, but shit. I feel like you don't never get to see the real players' potential until playoff time. Yeah, because not even that long ago, I said Paul Georgie need to go. I said M B need to go, and now look at both of them.
SPEAKER_10Stop acting like this is your team.
SPEAKER_05This is not your team, nigga.
SPEAKER_10No, no, both your teams are out. Both your teams are out. James Jordan is gone. But no, no, no, no. James Jordan's out of there.
SPEAKER_05What the Rockets, though, but I don't like the Cavaliers just because I like the turn.
SPEAKER_10And that was your team.
SPEAKER_09So technically, you like, oh bro, my boy Jordan's still in the No he's out.
SPEAKER_10And the Rockets are the Rockets. No, no, no. Your team's never been a Sixers, but your team's not the Sixers. Stop it. Only one of the teams I like about Y'all remember, y'all. His he said, I like James Horton, and I like the Rockets. I've never been a Sixers fan. You're out of there, bro. We have you on tape. You're not a part of this no more. So, guys, us, this community.
SPEAKER_07You just said one and three right there. You just killed the ball from Brother.
SPEAKER_05You just said the ball from the Boston. You just said bull from Boston was better than people. I didn't hear his career.
SPEAKER_10I said his career. I said his career. I said his career wise.
SPEAKER_05It's a lot of contradictory that go on in the read and react, but I ain't gonna be held to mind, neither will you.
SPEAKER_10What contradictory? I said that his he's a better player overall. His career, yes, he is. That's that's true.
SPEAKER_05That's a lot of contradictory that's not a good one.
SPEAKER_10He won the final championship and he was dropping point.
SPEAKER_05Like bro, and the sixers got that and the sixers got the opportunity to do that too.
SPEAKER_10He Devin White isn't even playing like Devin White. Devin White was it's cold, bro. I don't know what you're talking about. Bro, he's not playing like himself. That's one game. He didn't do that shit for the rest of the playoffs. He he's not playing like himself. He Devin White is nowhere near playing like this. No, he was not. What are you talking about? Devin White wasn't even dropping points like that, bro. He was getting like 10 points. Devin White wasn't doing shit. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_05He he dropped into a role player position.
SPEAKER_10Bro, he always been a role player. Jason Tatum out here. What are you talking about? He's always been a role player. He was just a nice ass role player.
SPEAKER_05He took more of a step back lead and let Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown do their thing.
SPEAKER_10He took a step back lead. He never had a lead. What are you talking about? He was always the step back. What are you talking about? They dish it out to him. He shoots that bitch and he played good defense. What are you talking about? Devin White missing shots and other types of shit.
SPEAKER_05He plays more this year than he did last year.
SPEAKER_10Bro, Devin White is not the same person that he was when they were winning championships and shit, bro. That's what I'm saying. He's not playing like it's a only one. Bro, but you know how many times they were in the playoffs? What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_05Okay, you know how many times? No, no, I ain't gonna do that. I ain't even gonna. I'm gonna just go ahead. You got it.
SPEAKER_10Bro, I'm just saying, bro. I'm just saying, bro. Devin White had a whole career. We're talking about a rookie versus a dude that has a whole career and that has a championship. Yes, bro. I didn't I didn't say that.
SPEAKER_05Did Devin White go to the to the playoff in his rookie year? I don't know. Is black black?
SPEAKER_10Devin White wasn't even a starter at first.
SPEAKER_05Devin White became DJ Edge Home is he started out better.
SPEAKER_06DJ Edge Comb is black.
SPEAKER_05Devin White is black. What are you saying?
SPEAKER_10We're gonna look it up. We're gonna uh we're gonna move we're gonna move forward, y'all. Um I think this is the best part of the show.
SPEAKER_05Also imagination.
SPEAKER_10This is the saddest part of the show because this is when we gotta say goodbye, and this is when y'all gotta say goodbye to us and stuff. But it's also the good part where we get the I don't know if you've done this before, Brando, but this is called the read and react right here. No, it's not.
SPEAKER_05No, no, it's the reader.
SPEAKER_10I mean the the It's called the Rant and Rave. You know what I meant to say, but my bad. It's been a long day. On the read and react. On the read and react, my bad. Yeah, this is the rant and rave. This is where we uh we we give a rant and we give a rave about how we things we're feeling in life. So we rant about something that's going on, uh something we want to say, just get off our chest, and that's our time. And we rave about raving about something that we like. Oh uh LeBron James won the final, I mean, won the playoff series and shit. Like just something you all right.
SPEAKER_06So to give you a clear view on the rant and rave, I'll start with my rant and my rave. All right, my rant is communication, lack thereof in today's society. People don't talk no more, they kill each other. I remember when you had an altercation with somebody, it was because you hit them. Now, altercations are communication because then they lead into altercations. There is no communication any longer, it is fucking up the world, and that's my rant. My rave is as a black man, you know, we're always behind the eight ball, but you can live and you can learn. We have to live. There's no doubt. So let's learn. So, what can you learn? Learn about how to handle your money, man. Look at all the merch that we buy, look at all the crap that we buy. Spending all this money on what? Nothing. It ain't gonna help you when you go on the ground, bro. It ain't gonna get you there nicely, it's gonna fall on your kids or your family. Get your money right, man. Get your future right. Do something for yourself. As a man, I realize that the one thing that I needed to do, not just as a man, but as a father, to make sure that once I'm done, I still live. On the strength of the song I live on. My kids will have kids. This shit, my nigga, is generational. Step up to the plate, realize who you are, and swing for the fences. That's my rant and my rave.
SPEAKER_10And you're next?
SPEAKER_05No, I'm last.
SPEAKER_10No, no, you're not going last. Brandon's going last. B! You next. No, I'ma go. I ain't gonna make Brandon. I want Brandon to go last so he can hear how.
SPEAKER_09I'm not gonna lie, mine was gonna be Cooper Flag, but oh yeah.
SPEAKER_10Cooper Flag hurt. Um my rant. Um I don't think as a kid, nobody really explains how hard life will be when you get older. And how much you should really enjoy having a childhood. Like, bro, don't try to grow up too early, don't try to leave the house too early, don't try to step out into the world too early, bro. And I know sometimes in this uh in this day and age, people are dealing with a lot of stuff and they got their kids helping them out and working and shit like that. So I know how it be. You know what I'm saying? Uh I don't think y'all should move forward in y'all life too early, bro. Enjoy the time you get to sit around and watch cartoons. Enjoy the time you have with your people around you that love you. Make memories, bro, young, enjoy memories, young. Enjoy time, take time for yourself when you're young, bro. Like work out when you're young, read while you're young, enjoy time, like just go out for a walk, bro. Relax while you're young, bro. Enjoy it while you're young. Like, don't over exert yourself for your future and stuff like that. Yeah, like get ready for your future, but don't over-exert yourself, enjoy your time young. And I think every parent should allow their child to enjoy their childhood, bro. Like, knowing how life is when you get older, especially if they're in that situation, or if they even in a struggling type of situation, bro. I don't care how bad I'm struggling, bro. I would never put it on my kids. I think, bro, that you really have to let your kids enjoy it, bro. Cause this is a this is a once-in-a lifetime feeling that you're gonna you're gonna you're gonna have, bro. Like being a kid is is probably the best thing ever, bro. Learning, experiencing, and beginning to just enjoy the world for the first time, bro. And it's the fact that you don't know nothing is is is why you can look back at it and really be like, oh bruh, like dang. I wish I could have gone back and been enjoying this as a child. So I'm I'm not gonna have my kids look at their life like that. I'm gonna have my kids look back and be like, damn, dad made sure we had a great childhood. I remember this, my childhood was great. I was able to do this and do that. So just enjoy your childhood. Uh I think parents need to be more letting their kids live as a kid, man. Let them let them be children. Uh my rave LeBron! LeBron, man, you know, hey bruh. I like you, dog. Hey man, LeBron, I'm telling you, bruh. You can do this. If the 76ers lose, I'm okay with that if you win. But 76ers win, boom. I'm happy with that too. But if we lose, LeBron win. Y'all know, bruh. I'm I'm on him all day. Let's go talk all day, bruh. G-O-A-T. But uh, we gotta still stay stay some positive stuff. Uh man, um don't hold yourself back. Uh, a lot of people don't have discipline. Uh get some discipline in yourself. Uh start to start to get back. Or if you're not even on the track yet, get on the track and start focusing on building yourself up with your health and things like that. Because that you know what I'm saying, you're gonna feel better about yourself. Um you're gonna be better mentally, you know. You're gonna look better, you're gonna feel better, you're gonna smell better, you know what I'm talking about. Uh and always chase your dreams, man. Yeah, always chase your dreams. And that's my right, my rave.
SPEAKER_05Alright, my rant. My rant is when you when you when you live life, bro, um it's a lot of stuff that you're not gonna get told about. Um, but as you grow older, there is things that you are going to see for yourself. And with with the knowledge that you have, whatever the knowledge is it, whatever your knowledge is that you get growing up, and the and the stuff that you get to see through your own POV, you have to combine the two and learn for yourself. What's told to one person may not work for the next person. What's told to that person may not work for the next person, and so on and so forth. So don't get discouraged within yourself because people weren't in your corner. You have to find a way, no matter what, to live for yourself. And I think I I I speak this a lot when it comes to our rent and race. Find God, that is the answer. God it will always be your answer. Whether you think so or not, God will always and forever be your answer. If you don't have nobody else that you can look forward to, you can always look to yourself and to God.
SPEAKER_04They are your best friends. Um that's my rant.
SPEAKER_05My rave is we all need one another. So we gotta stay strong within our relationships and and and like Ken said, big Ken said, our communication. Those relationships and communication is hand in hand. You gotta stay strong in both of those to maintain uh uh success in life. Um just just work hard, like Mikhail said, like A said, work hard, stay disciplined, find some discipline, and and just continue to to grow with every step of uh of your walk. Because everybody's walk, not the same walk.
SPEAKER_04Um and that's all I got for my rant and my rave today. Uh okay.
SPEAKER_08My rant would be uh social media. A lot of people are influenced by social media, a lot of people uh use it to express themselves and um are influenced by it and let them move them, and some people are mis uh informed on life by social media because of how much it takes control of the over their lives.
SPEAKER_04I really don't uh partake in social media, but if you see something, you can't let social media uh control you.
SPEAKER_08You have to be able to live live through your life by living it, not through living it through somebody else. Um like like uh Bit Ken said, like uh Deuce said, like A said communication you can find information that you're looking for through communicating with others in person in real time. You can find the answers that you're looking for through communicating with somebody in real time. Like Deuce said, find God, find God. God has gives you answers, read the scripture, read the word, it will inform you in what you where you are in life and where you're heading in life, and will show you that you're on the right path.
SPEAKER_04And like um Ace said, You know, you gotta enjoy life, man.
SPEAKER_08You can't just don't don't try to move too fast, don't be influenced by other people, you know what I'm saying? Just live your life. Live your life in your in your right time.
SPEAKER_04Uh I really feel like that that's it.
SPEAKER_05But um, yeah, my rave happy about something that you that makes you feel, or it could be something similar to what you said.
SPEAKER_11Hey LeBron man, LeBron man, LeBron Man, LeBron, hey, my man LeBron whooping them rockets, boy. James James.
SPEAKER_08Look at that. Hey, even though he's not on there no more. Hey. Hey, he whooped them boys. I'm not gonna lie, but we real man's mind. Hey, but them Sixers game, Sixers and five. Seven.
SPEAKER_09Seven. Seven. Seven. It's the seven game. Huh?
SPEAKER_06It's already game seven, bruh.
SPEAKER_09It's already game seven. What you talking about? The finals? Yo, yo, yo, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Alright, I can respect it.
SPEAKER_05Nah, so before we before we get out of here today, I just want to know what y'all finals what y'all finals looking like. Who y'all think? Lakers, Lakers, Sixers?
SPEAKER_06Hell no. Um not.
SPEAKER_08Because number one, no, I think I think this mistake just can make it. Versus uh the Sixers. Um, I hope it's really uh Shy Alagillis.
SPEAKER_10No, I don't want to see I don't want to see OKC there. But I mean if OKC makes it, I'm cool with that. And I want to kick their ass. I want to beat the dog shit out of their ass.
SPEAKER_08I don't want to see shy crying the whole time on the court.
