He's just throwing the ball to him. Um Jordan Davis, I think Jordan Davis is his OTA is probably was doing, was, was probably like not second, probably third, fourth, because they saying they're they're moving him around and they're having him play in other spots on the on the line, other than just D-tackle and nose tackle and stuff like that. So I'm really excited to see what that looks like and what what other positions they put him in because that's a big dude right there, man. All type of pass deflections and all that. So imagine like he coming off the edge and they heat drop back or something. You never know, man. It's it's it's it's it's really it's really coming together on that defense, that defensive side. I'll I they they saying that the offense is looking good with Sean Manion, and then they say he's the real deal. I mean, I just I'll I'll rather have another dominant dude in there, Dontavius. He's good to in my opinion. Now that I'm like getting a look at him as a player, he's nice. He's like a he's like the AJ Brown version of Devontae. Because he's just bigger, stronger dude, but he catch the ball like Devontae be doing. I'm not saying his route running is exactly the same. He's not that that quick. He's like kind of like a like a tight end that wide receiver type of thing. He's a good dude though. I think he's nice. As long as he keeps getting better, you know, sky's limit.
SPEAKER_08They said they um the bull style, Eli Stower, he kind of like a tight end slash wide receiver. So you might you might see him be moved into like a slot or or uh when they do five wide, you might see him in that lineup of wide receivers because he he got the capability to play wide receiver. Um I wanted to also say that I I really don't like the AJ Brown situation still with how how fast he got out there for the OTAs with them. And I don't I kind of don't like how what he said about Drake May.

It's like today in the meeting, uh, I would say he kind of took over the meme. You know, obviously I heard great things about him, but that part alone tells me a lot about him and how how much he loves his job and you know he studies and everything. So yeah.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I don't I don't like what he said about Drake May. Um he he's he made it seem like Drake May was better than Jalen Hurts. You you haven't ever played with Drake May. You ain't never went to a warring with him, he ain't throw you no touchdown passes yet. He ain't do nothing. And you you tried to make him seem like he was a way better quarterback than than Jalen Hurts, and I didn't appreciate that. Um for Jalen Hurts to be who Jalen Hurts is and already not get the credit, for you to leave and then discredit him is kind of crazy. Um one of the other players I think in OTAs that's making a bigger statement is uh Tariq Willen. He's he's he's um I think he's definitely gonna be a great fit here. Um the more I watch his footage and the more I watch how he be moving and some of the OTA practices he, I think that he'll be somebody special here. I think he we we did a good job with replacing our cornerbacks with with him. I still kind of feel like we need more safety help. Hopefully, hopefully the the the re-blankinship. I mean, I said re blankinship, uh what that what that kid name is Cooper Dejean. Yeah, Cooper Dejean. I hope him and Kelly Ringo is able to do what we need from them because uh yeah. Who they should is and and you was talking about the D-line. One of the players I feel like they should um add to to like where they where they move around and drop back into coverage is is Jalen Carter. He got he got good IQ for that. So if especially with him doing the when they go to spike the ball and he go to dive up under the center and all that, I think that's good IQ. So with him being able to do that, I feel like they should make him drop back a little bit into coverage.

And then the Cooper Dejean thing, I think he's gonna pay dividends in the defense in multiple ways because he's gonna play slot receiver as well as backup safety. I see him replacing Reed Blankenshit in some base packages where you don't have your normal safety, so he ain't gonna move the corner, the slot corner, who doesn't have to be on the field at that time, and have your best player on the field at the time, which is Cooper Dejen, and he'll be there with safe at safety. I think that's getting ready to be a weapon that the Eagles are gonna use, along with uh the other young ball at safety. Uh Hooper Nakua. I think he ain't gonna be able to go across the middle with guys like that. I think those guys clog up the middle. And if we can beat the Rams, say in the NFC championship game, because they're gonna be probably there, versus us, that's gonna be the deciding factor. Because you got Miles Garrett at the other end doing his thing. So when you throw the ball to Nakua, that safety. He's gonna be somebody. And I think Cooper Dejean, the way he tackles, the way he's aggressive in the middle of the field at the slot corner, if he could do that same thing at safety, it's gonna have it's gonna pay serious debt dividends for that defense. Yep. I can't wait for the defense. I I know the offense gonna be nice, it's gonna be sexy, all that, all that, all that. But this defense, this defense is gonna be treacherous. And I think it's gonna change the league. They have so much. So many different pieces that we did not have last year.
SPEAKER_07The defense was fantastic last year, and we we we was missing the whole corner too. We was man missing a whole corner too.
