Why The RUSH! We are in fight or Flight mode more often than we think. We feel this angry tiger is after us, and reality its just us running from what? Crisis, we possibly made up. We put this mandate on ourselves, this heavy weight, this imaginary expectation on ourselves. Imagine taking your time? Imagine taking a deep breath and allowing God to be present in our lives.

I am in Florida currently, and I realized I needed a moment of rest. Sometimes the weight can feel heavy, and reality is we don't need to place that on ourselves.

Enjoy!

Hey everyone, welcome to another episode. I am on a journey. I am not even in my hometown right now. This audio is going to sound a little different just because I don't have my handy dandy microphone with me and where I can podcast into, so I did not want to leave too much time but update everyone. I am on a trip actually to Florida. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, and it's always beautiful to be welcomed by the palm trees and lovely family like my aunt, which strangely we are the same age, so it's always a good time with her. I um here on a ministry assignment on a trip, and it's it's just been a beautiful experience. There's always this time of year, a youth conference that takes place, and this time around, you know, my husband and I spoke, and I said, I'm not I'm not one to make excuses, but this time around, I just felt like I needed a breather. I don't know if you have ever felt that way, but just a breather. Like I am full-time ministry every day, all day, just about. And I wanted to take a moment just to woo-sah, just take a deep breath, right? And enjoy the sun, enjoy the palm trees and all of that. So this is the very first time in where my husband, because he gets all the speaking engagements, which I absolutely love, and he shared a story with me last night because he's at uh in Braddenton, Florida, and we spent a couple of days with my aunt. I ended up staying here with my aunt, and he went to Braddenton, and he's delivering a message out there, just ministering to hundreds of youth. It's it's amazing. I went last year, the year before that, and it's always beautiful. But we were talking, and he shared with me an experience he had last night and where he got to witness a miracle take place with a girl who had hearing aids, she was in a wheelchair, she could walk, but it would be with a cane, and she took off running. And so it goes to show that miracles are still taking place today. And so I got to thinking, and I'm like, you know, what happens when everyone just about relies on you, right? And the weight is hefty on those shoulders and the burden is weighty. And throughout that time, you really don't know that you're even functioning, right? Uh, in dysfunction. And you it becomes so normalized. Like, okay, I I'm in this thing and I'm carrying the weight of it all, and now you're growing weary, and that's exactly what happened with me at one point, and I share my experience all the time. My testimony in 2023, I was burnt out, tired, stressed. My cortisol levels were all over the place, and I was all over the place, and so because of that, stress will kill you if you don't deal with it. And so that's where I got to experience the full functioning presence of the Lord and what needs to happen within my life, a game plan of healing. And that's how I dove into the natural path journey and everything that I'm doing now, and just helping people heal their body as I'm still healing mine, which I love this journey. Oh my gosh, I get to see God's glory just take place, his miracles are still alive today. And so when the weight is on your shoulders, you tend to feel like it's all on you. It's game time. And we become high functioning, dysfunctional people, if that makes sense. And we become so used to it, we don't know anything outside of that dysfunction. We're high stress. I was talking to my aunt about this the other day. We even wash our hair in a stressful method. We're rushing. Everything is a crisis. We got to put on our shoes fast, we got to run out the door, our keys are left behind. Why do we rush? Why are we doing that and not allowing God to fully be present in our lives to the point where we just coast? Like, okay, God, you got this. Like, I don't have to rush for anything. And so we feel like we have to rush because we're in fight or flight mode. But it's so important that we remain in a parasympathetic mode instead of sympathetic because we feel like a an angry tiger is running after us. And any moment of the day that can trigger our thoughts into believing that that tiger is running. And where? Where's the tiger in our minds? Like, what is that tiger for you? And so I get to thinking, what is that for me? Why does why do I allow the enemy to have me in such a constant state of rush when I can just take my time? And so this time around, I am embracing taking my time. I have a lot coming up, which is uh the planning of a conference, and I was doing some note-taking with the Lord last night and allowing him to be the one to dictate what takes place at this conference. And this conference is going to be in October, 16th through the 18th. So if you're out there listening, it's called Warrior Cry, the gathering, is the theme this year, and it's a harvest theme. And so we believe in just harvesting in this season. We reap, right, what we sow. And if you have sown good in your life, you are about to reap some hefty stuff. And if you have not, you're going to reap. And so we reap what we sow. And in this season, I have seen the hand of God so many times. If you listen to my other episodes, you will know that I share, I'm very open on what God has produced in our lives. We have been in seasons of downfall, the valley lows, but we have seasons of mountain highs, and I'm embracing that season. And so if you're listening and you are any season in your life where you are feeling the weight, just know that God is your bearer, He's your lifter. And although this is not going to be the lengthiest podcast, I just want you to know that the burden does not belong to you. And you are really putting an expectation on yourself. Sometimes it's not even other people, it's you. Free yourself of your own thoughts and don't allow that angry tiger that you're making up in your mind to continue to chase you. Live in peace and harmony. Like God gives us peace that passes all understanding. All understanding. And that anxiousness, the word of God says that He picks it up for us. And so happy healing. I love you all. And I hope that this serves its purpose in your life on today. Bye.
